Excellent meats. Traditional shop that you cant find anymore. I highly recommend the Hungarian summer sausage.

FANTASTIC!!! What great place and nicest staff to assist you and tell you about what they have and how they make it.They even took the time to let me try products and explain the differences. We could smell the smoke from them smoking product a half mile away. The best Hungarian sausage I have ever had! I have not tried all that we purchased but I will make this a go to spot for purchasing there products.

Love this place, ton of options. If there are long lines at any place you know its worth it! Great home made sausage, just like the name implies, and sticks. They will cut any piece of meat to your liking. Have some other items like cheeses, breads, smoked fish, charcoal, seasonings, and more. A must go everytime Im in the neighborhood.

Staff is always friendly and happy to answer questions. They are well informed on their products and never rush you with your order. Our favorites include smoked pork chops, chorizo, breakfast porkies, Canadian bacon, salami, summer sausage, polish sausage, sticks. Cant wait for our Easter ham!

Fantastic smoked sausage especially the Hungarian style. The brats and other meat choices are excellent as well. If you go here expecting to pay chain grocery store prices then you may think they are a little pricey. If you understand that you are getting something different for yourself and others to enjoy, youll find the selection is great and you will want to come back for more.

I recently made my first ever stop at House of Home Made Sausage. WOW!It is much more than the name implies. Tons of wonderful sounding and looking sausage, but also some of the finest looking meats Ive ever seen. Everything looked like it came straight out of a magazine photo shoot. For example, a big hunk of Porterhouse from which I assume they would cut steaks to your specifications.But even more important as far as Im concerned ... the people! If the man and woman working on 10/26/19 were not the owners they fooled me, because they sure acted like they were. Extremely knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, answered all my questions (and some I didnt even think to ask). They made me feel as if I was most important thing that happened to them that day.Lots of businesses offer great products and present them beautifully, but so very few offer genuinely great service; the surprisingly good service you cant fake, but comes from the heart.

This place is my favorite local butcher shop. Great sausages and peppersticks are a clutch snack. Highly recommend stopping in if youre in the area.

Germantown staple for years. And family owned. Great selection and outstanding quality. Their jerkey is some of the best Ive ever had. I prefer to buy my meat from genuine butcher shops whenever possible. And this is my go to butcher.

I grew up making my own meat and still do at times with my friends. The sausages and specialty meats are of the highest quality. For those that enjoy smoked meats this is the place for you. The prices are not cheap the meats are high quality, those wanting something for nothing will be disappointed. Everyone that I gave a piece of thier meat to has enjoyed it as it is a deer camp staple now. The meat counter is not huge but the choices are many, old world influences tasted in the recipes.

There’s no excuse why you shouldn’t buy your meats here.They’re not 24 hours, 7 Days a week. It’s not a big deal to plan your meals out ahead and buy their meat in advance. They just want to treat their employees well, and it certainly shows through on their products.You have me as a customer for life.

Everything is just unbelievable!!! I grew up on eating the Hungarian sausage and now my kids are huge fans as well. I came home to WI from North Carolina and asked my two daughters what they wanted and said; the Hungarian sausage and they went crazy when I brought it out! Smells like heaven as soon as you walk in the door. The homemade smoked sausages, Hungarian, liverwurst, etc. were all excellent. Dont ignore the fresh meata. The sirloin steak I bought was one of the best ever. Ill be back.

I hate to give away secret spots I like to keep to myself, but I also hate not to praise small business owners who deserve a positive shout out too! I grew up going to small town meat shops where my grandparents and my dad would get their meats and this place brought me back in time! The aroma when you first open the door and the selection is plentiful for this small shop. Today was my first time at this facility and the owners knew several customers by their first name, which to me is a huge detail, telling me how many regular repeat customers they have. If you buy your meat from a big chain store, you havent tasted real meat with natural flavors. You do pay more for their meats compared to the grocery stores but you also are paying for the quality of their products. The taste of meat that is smoke naturally with no artificial additives is a taste that raise the bar on anyones palate. I definitely will be a repeat customer and regular when I am in the area. This is year two getting a fresh turkey for thanksgiving it was soooooooooooooo good! Sam, Nikki and Clay are the best they make me feel like family with every visit I make.If you have not visited this shop please make time this holiday you will not be disappointed!

Friendly, knowledgable staff, great selection. Came in right when they opened and they were already busy. Cooking out this afternoon details to come....Everything was very good, the Hungarians were not as spicy as we would have liked but still delicious and flavorful. Brats cooked perfectly. The hamburgers we had purchased needed to be packed a little more before the threw them on the grill(we did let them warm up which could have had listened them up), but there isnt a single doubt that they are better than from your grocery store butcher.

Im making this my must stop at, when in the area. I might actually take a special trip for the great meats.

I called and emailed an order for 2#s of Ribeye sliced thin, because I was making Philly Cheese Steak sandwiches I SPECIFICALLY said it was for sandwiches. Even though the price was high at $15 per lb. It was a special occasion. I picked up the package on Friday, the meal was Saturday.I did all the prep work accept for the steak.Onions, Mushrooms, Peppers, toasted buns.I finally got to the meat and opened the package and found 2lbs of STEAK cut for grilling!!I had to take each one, pound it thin, then slice it up to cook for sandwiches. When I contacted them, the only reply I got was..... I guess we shouldve used the slicer ....Thats It ???So, I had a lot of extra work and time and got a TOO BAD

My girlfriend and I have tried all of the butcher shops in this area and germantown house of homemade sausage is the best one yet so far specially for their WI brats. Whenever we are in the area we try to stop by if time allows.
