This place is a joke. I stopped going here and normally go to the one in the Milestone Shopping Center. Today, I went by at 1 p.m. before an appointment, there was a line and one person working. I turned around and left.Went to the one in the Milestone Shopping Center, there were two employees for the three customers, (its called staffing your store properly, with actually friendly employees), was in and out in five minutes.DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND GOING TO THIS DISASTER OF A PLACE. HOW IT REMAINS OPEN IS BEYOND ME!!

I called in asking if I could get an I-9 form certified. Was told I could get it done, I drove over during a horrific rain storm only to be turned away because they don’t do I-9s and that I needed an appointment. None of this was told to me when I drove over. I do not recommend using this store for any service, the employees were not helpful at all.

I came here during a holiday weekend to ship an item back before its return deadline. I don’t remember the associate’s name who assisted me, but he was very helpful as I arrived without a printed return label on hand. Good customer service - I would come back to this location.

My husband went to this location because UPS never came to pick up our package that we needed to return. We printed the label given to us by Amazon and that was the only label we had. The woman at the desk was extremely rude, and said to my husbands face I dont believe you when he told her we only had one label. She told him to go to the Gaithersburg location and when he asked for the location of the office she said I dont know, Google it. She provided no help, no answers, and just passed him off on another location. Dont waste your time here go to Gaithersburg. If you cant provide basic customer service, get a different job.

I had a printed return of a product. The young lady didnt ask a question about the purpose of my visit. She simply pointed to the paper and said this says USPS. I can read and Im well aware of what the paper said. It also had a bar code and had she asked me a question, I would have informed her that this was a return. I find this establishment to be belittling and very unprofessional. They are generally my last resort. Id rather go down the block to the post office (they were closed today) for all my returns and shipping needs.

Came in on Saturday 2 weeks before Christmas. There was a small line but the wait was under 10 minutes. Really liked they enforced social distancing. Was fortunate to be helped by Kel who was patient and very helpful in assisting me ship several Christmas presents. His upbeat attitude was infectious and made the process stress free.

Went to the store to ship a turntable I had just purchased from Guitar Center. The item was in an open box so that the associate could package the item for me. the representative barely looked at the contents and told me it was OK, and that he was going to make sure they treated the item as fragile. The item arrived damaged and I was charged an 80% restocking fee. I just reported this to UPS, let us see how they react and if they make this right.

UPS Used to be a lot better. I mean they are not the worst, but were one of the places I liked coming to. I guess not anymore since wait time as well as the service itself were bellow what I am used to by UPS.

This UPS store has the absolute worst customer service ever!!! Do not go to this location and spend your money. The older man at this location acted as if I was bothering him. Did not want to give me a bag to mail my items, as well as the pouch. Drive the extra few miles and go to the Gaithersburg location at 509 Quince Orchard Rd, Gaithersburg, MD 20878. Nice, customer service oriented. Glad to do business with you.

Poor customer service as usual. Needed to ship a phone, so I purchased a padded bag. After I slipped the phone in and packed it up. She then proceeded to toss my package onto the floor with the other packages. I dont expect the packages to be treated like glassware but still...

There were two employees there. I was greeted by both with smiles. I was just there to drop off a prepaid package. I literally walked in, was able to drop off the package, and walk out. In and out in less than 2 minutes.

The young gentleman there were extremely helpful. They were able to help me find the best way to ship some family belongings across the US. Although the line was long you can see they were doing their best to get everyone in and out of the store while providing the best customer service they could! Thank you Obi and Ek.

Stopped by today to have something notorized. As I waited in line I noticed how friendly both reps were. I found them to be efficient and eager to assist every one ahead of me. My total wait time was minimal. My experience at this location so far has always been positive.

I phoned this location to get assistance getting the correct address for someone using a PO Box at this location. I did not ask for any personal information just how to address the letter properly so it would get there as it had been returned by the post office. The man who answered named Andy was so rude to me I would never use this location and do not recommend it to anyone.

I have lived all over the US first and only UPS to charge for tape. I now keep rolls of tape in my truck and frequently offer to other customers. SERIOUSLY other customers offer better customer service!

This UPS Store representative worked hard and fast, single-handedly to keep the line of customers moving. I had to ship a fragile item and he suggested the appropriate packing materials and packed the item for me within minutes. I would go back to this UPS location anytime!

I usually go to this UPS store to conduct my business, but recently their customer service has been horrible.The main reason I stop going to this store:Made an online printing order > went to the store > manager said printer is broken so cant print the docs > request for refund> manager not complying, tell me to contact corporate > corporate tell me to speak to the manager.Overall ridiculous back and forth that did not resolve my issue. Still no refund from either party.

I had an great experience at this business Andy was helpful and very patient. I was worried about sending a package the most cost efficient way and he took the time to try a couple of boxes and even cut the box down I decided on so my shipping rate would be lower. I will be back for any and all my shipping needs!

Went to this store for shipping something with already a pre-printed label thinking it would be quick. Boy, was I wrong! There was only one person working and he was having his lunch at the counter. I had to wait a few minutes, watching him chow down his sandwich before he asked, what do you need? No greetings, no apologies, nothing. Then he tells me it would be $1 to tape the small package! No thanks! Drove 10 minutes south to another UPS store and was in and out in 2 minutes with friendly service and no taping charge!

A very poorly run operation. Was in there a few weeks ago and NO AIR CONDITIONING on a brutally hot day. Hey, stuff happens, but was in there yesterday and after carrying in my boxes I was asked if I was dropping off. Hummm... yes. Well what he meant to say was sorry, our Internet has been out for 10 days and we cannot ship any packages. We can only accept packages that are ready to go. His only comment was, We cant control Verizon. WHAT??? Go and get a portable hot spot so you can be open for BUSINESS!!

In my opinion, everything in the store is expensive. The owner doesnt have good customer service skills, so dealing with him or communicating with him will be difficult. The store owner kept insisting that I was lying even when I continued to explain what had happened. I recommend to avoid this location and go to the gaithersburg UPS store or german town kohls. Germantown kohls packs and ships for free. The owner hires small amount of people so you might wait longer than you expect.

Not a real UPS location...deserves less than one star due to their fax machine never working, poor customer service, and wasting my time. I called in hours before about a VERY IMPORTANT fax that was supposed to arrive there at a specific time. The man on the phone said everything was good to go. Once the fax was sent and I arrived at the store, the man working confessed he didnt know how to use the fax machine and that is was printing only blank pages. Didnt apologize, didnt say he would try to make the situation right. He told us to just go to Kinkos haha HORRIBLE Customer service. Fax machine doesnt work at this location. ALSO THE OWNER POSTED FAKE PHOTOS OF THE STORE!! PLEASE REPORT THEM.

Owner is a very impolite person.Besides of treating customers badly, he had the employees without a/c during the whole summer, just to save some money.To complete, owner tries to charge $ 1 to put a little bit of type in the boxes you take there. He justifies it by saying that his store is not corporate, so that he can do whatever he wants.It is a shame for the ups brand

Hmm, reading the Yelp and Google Maps reviews and it looks like there is a trend...poor customer service. Had a horrible experience with the employee. He wanted to charge me $1 to put a strip of tape on the top of my shipping box. The month prior a woman helped me at another UPS store and said she would tape it up for me no problem. I completely understand there is a cost for tape but being a customer centered shipping business youd expect that would be the cost of doing business. This is especially frustrating to be nickel and dimed for money since this isnt a standard practice Ive experienced at other UPS stores. Lotte market nearby has sushi for five strips of tape.

Wow first of all I’ve read these “complaints “ and I’m just shocked . This ups in Germantown has the most loyal customers ever with the most friendly employees ive ever met. Andy calls so many people by name, he makes us feel so special . The only people over here complaining are people who are crying over $1 tape. This is a private business, a franchise. How do you expect him to be dishing out tape like it’s not expensive? 29 reviews over the last 5 yrs complaining about tape? Over the thousands of people who come, you guys are being petty. You sound like children. Grow up and package your own stuff . Sounds like a bunch of evil bitter adults trying to get one over on a Small store owner .

I stopped using this store long back. The reasons are 1) They Charged $5 for holding my packet ( I disputed with UPS and I got the money back, I had to visit 3 times to get my money) 2) They Charged $1 for tape.
