We have been coming here since Sam and Lola opened.We thought the previous restaurant was good... But we were sooo wrong!Service is always greatFeels like were on the set of Cheers every time we come in now. Lola gets us like family!Our table is ready and or favorites are tremendous... And the sake bombs!!!

Hubby and I tried Dragon Wok for lunch after church today. Saw an ad on Facebook and wanted to check it out. It was very good. We each got a lunch special — hubby got teriyaki chicken and I got cashew shrimp. It comes with rice (which is great), egg roll (stuffed with veggies) and crab puff but we don’t eat crab so waitress gave us fried wontons in place of crab puff. It was all delicious. Very filling. We brought leftovers home.
As close to Chicago Chinese food as I have found in the valley! A definite must try if you have not eaten here! Highly recommend!

This is by far the best Chinese take-out in the area. Yeah, its a little pricey, but the quality of the ingredients (better quality cuts of meat and fresh vegetables) makes it absolutely worth every cent. The staff is friendly and the delivery is quick.

Dragon Wok is hands down the best Chinese food I have ever had. I have been coming to this restaurant for at least a decade and it is consistently great. The restaurant is always clean, it is beautifully decorated, and, most importantly, the food is always delicious. The egg rolls and honey chicken are my favorite menu items. The owners, Sam & Lola, are so nice and make it a point to speak to customers and make everyone feel welcome. I love this place and would give it more than 5 stars if I could!
Mediocre food. Used spaghetti noodles for lo mein. Flavor great, texture not. Chicken was tender. Rice was very plain... no egg or vegetables.
The best Americanized Chinese food as evidenced by their longevity! Sam and his wife are the sweetest people and have made many long lasting relationships thru their restaurant!! Our very favorite from the time they started!!

Having come to live from CA, we were always looking for a Chinese restaurant like the one we left in CA. Dragon Wok gave us the best food and service. It comes very close to what we had in CA and would recommend them for the best in authentic Chinese food.
The restaurant was nicely decorated and very clean.My husband and I are longtime vegetarians and love Asian cuisine because if there is tofu on the menu, we can typically sub tofu for meat.When I tried to order an entrée with tofu, I was told no.This was definitely a different reaction than we are accustomed to.We were finally told All the sauces are beef based .Ok, fair enough.I have 4 choices. I wanted lo mein with tofu.NOPE.WHY?WE JUST DONT DO THAT.I asked if I paid extra for tofu (which is a giant savings for them because the actual cost for the tofu would be less than $1).I can only get tofu with the veggie delight, which, if youve ever had it, youd know its practically flavorless.Needless to say, we were not happy with our selection.My in laws enjoyed their meat filled entrees while my husband and I left hungry and with an empty wallet.Our server seemed perturbed with my questions.Its possible we may have had better luck with another server, but we will never know as we wont be returning.
I have eaten here four times now and the food is really good! I have ordered the Kung Pao chicken each time and they give you a good-sized portion of chicken with the order. The staff/owners are very service-oriented and so friendly. If you order the full-size plate, be prepared - it is a lot of food and we always take home a container or two. We highly recommend this place!

Say excellent excellent excellent were telling all our friends. the portions of food are fantastic it was so much food that we had to take at home to eat and we are so thankful and grateful that they are still open.
Writing this review now after finishing course two of their meal for two. The courses til now were exquisitely plated, very light and delicious. The service was very quick and the ambiance relaxing. Honestly, if that was dinner, I would be satisfied, but theres more to come. Definitely happy to have come and try this restaurant. Great find.
We have enjoyed Dragon Woks food since it opened! It is ALWAYS delicious. More than the BEST Chinese cuisine in the East Valley, are the hospitable owners Sam & Lola, who treat all their customers like family! Kung Pap & Cashew Shrimp are our traditional favorites, but DO NOT miss the War Wanton Soup! The homemade broth will provide tasty comfort any day. Its hearty enough to enjoy as a main entree. We love Dragon Wok and are certain you will too!

Moved from Chicago - been trying to find a great comparable Chinese restaurant for over two year. I just found it.Amazing. Their fried dishes are hand breaded and not loaded with batter, fresh chicken and vegetables. A little more money then other, but it is not my go to.If you havent tried this place, do your taste buds a favor.
Well not much of veg option. My son hated everything. The two stars are for the appetizers.
Service was poor. Food not that good. Got general chicken and all it was just deep fried chicken with a strange tasting sauce. First time we went everything was terrific but since then it has not been worth the money.

This was our first time here and it was delicious! We had ordered potstickers, egg drop soup and main entre we got general chicken w/brown rice, and sweet and sour pork w/ fried rice. Well definitely come back.
Ordered the deluxe meal for two.Each ingredient was so carefully prepared. The Mongolian beef was perfectly soft and flavorful. The cute soup bowl had each ingredient placed so carefully, and it was clear that a lot of thought had gone into each ingredient. The chicken was so soft and tender that I almost mistook it for fish. Each vegetable was cooked just so, crunchy but not raw.$40+tip is no small price tag but worth it for the royal treatment.
Decided to stop in for a quick bite and went in based on their reviews and I must admit they did not disappoint! Amazing food and great service! We will be regulars!

I only give two stars because the chicken in the chicken fried rice and lo mein had a rubber like texture. The sesame chicken breading was mushy with almost no flavor.
Bad service, I’ve previous given this place 5 stars but say goodbye to that. Last Wednesday, I watched two tables get seated 20 minutes after us and get served their main dish 10 minutes later, all while everyone else was getting served, and we were looking at empty plates from our appetizers. 15 minutes after that, we still weren’t served and when I asked how much longer until we were served, the waitress had no idea. After that we asked for the bill for what we had, which they gladly charged us full price for with no apology. It was easy to see the waitress was taking care of the people she knew. Bottom line; unless you part of the in-crowd at this place, expect to get bad service.

We arrived close to closing time and the hostess and everyone were very gracious and cheerful. The colorful lighting, dragon motif, and art enhanced the room. The food was delicious, we had 4 entrees and each had there own level of deliciousness. One order was redone but only because one of our party couldnt eat mushrooms. All in all, a great experience.

The food was quite tasty, and though the prices were just slightly above what I have come to expect for a Chinese restaurant, it was well worth the price! The people were nice, the place is cute, but the food all tasted fishy! Maybe it was eel sauce or something but we had mooshu pork and beef and broccoli. Creepy texture on the beef. I really wanted it to be delicious but it wasnt.

Great experience. It was crazy busy being Christmas Day, which we expected and didnt bother us much. The owner was so apologetic and did everything he could to get us a table. The food was tasty and hot. All servers were friendly and professional. Definitely be back again. Highly recommended!

The cook was the hostess, server and cook. He was very good at it all actually. The ladies were enjoying social hour at a table. She was quick to take money but no thank you. Ambiance is nice, seemed clean. Food was mediocre. Ill probably not go back.

Our first experience with Dragon Wok was great. The service was efficient and friendly. To start we got the mixed appetizer platter and it was delicious, even the main entry was super yummy. The portions were large and prices were fair. I think we have found our new go to Chinese restaurant. They have been given awards for their food and rightfully so. Super impressed!
Called to place an order for delivery, Im guessing it was the manager that came to the phone and told me my order needs to be at least 30 or 35 for them to deliver. I had 24 dollars worth of food so far and needed to add more. Are you serious??? 8 minute drive plus expected to tip! Ive always gone here on my way home from work and have given them plenty of business. Never again. I even mentioned that I order from them frequently and usually come in to get my food. Poor customer service. She couldnt give me a delivery minimum, just said uhhhhh well youre on Val vista and thats pretty far...so at least 30 to 35. Im 3 miles away!!

Food was delicious and filling. Its moderately priced but they have lunch specials and happy hour specials. They dont have a gluten free menu but will take the time to help you find gluten free options ( which arent many). The service was good but could have been better. Might come back to try again.
Hands down the best Chinese in the valley! Delicious beer and cocktail selection, great appetizers (my favorite are the Dragon Rolls) and the absolute best egg foo yung Ive ever tasted. Dine in for the full experience but they also deliver. Either way, you cant go wrong!!
This is one of my favorite places for Chinese cuisine. I love the dragon rolls as an appetizer, and the family meals are a great value. Quality is what reins in this place, the food is always a delight to the palate, and seldom over salted or greasy compared to some lesser Chinese restaurants. The prices are not inexpensive compared to other Chinese restaurants, but then again, I believe this place is a get what you pay for type of business. The Mongolian beef was melt-in-your-mouth tender the last time I went. Also, be on the look out for coupons in the mail; however these require substantial purchases before they kick in.
I visited this quaint restaurant after receiving several recommendations from others. I liked that selection and the service was courteous and fast. The staff was knowledgeable enough to answer questions several members of our party had about the meals and their dietary restrictions. The selection was varied enough to find something for everyone.
We ate at Dragon Wok tonight based on several good reviews we found on it, and we were more than disappointed. The service was good, with a prompt and attentive server, but the food was mediocre at best. All the meats were spongy and fatty, making them barely palatable. The appetizers were good, fried won tons, and crab puffs, but the rest was really lacking.The atmosphere was OK. A cool jade ship is displayed up front. Aside from that it was standard fare for virtually any kind of restaurant. Silverware was standard at every table, with no chopsticks readily available. I guess you will need to ask for them if you eat here.Portions were normal, but it doesnt really matter how big or small the plates are if you dont care for the food.Our bill was over $60, almost 1/3 more than we spent at Pei Wei last week for vastly better food.

Fast service, delicious food, and reasonably priced for what you get! When we were done, our waitress even boxed up our leftovers for us. The restaurant also features a fun atmosphere.
