Believe the 1.9 rating. These guys were contacted when I was in the hospital after a car accident- so I made none of the original arrangements. This company is incredibly difficult to work with for DME. I had issues trying to return the chair - and then as life would go, I sent it back prematurely and needed another rental. I had the prescription and for over three weeks tried getting a rental again. They made it so near impossible that I was stressed I wouldn’t be able to get one in time for another surgery. I found another company that was soo easy to work with and actually cared about my situation.I do not recommend working with this company unless you have months and months to plan. If you have a choice, this shouldn’t be it.

I ordered the wheelchair September 22 and we are now October 1 so it’s been seven days and I still have not received it nor I have received any phone calls on any updates from Apria healthcare supplies. Someone gave this company a 1.9 review but it at this time they are less of a star or no review at all. This company says that they are the leading edge company of medical supplies This is a false statements from this company. Every time I call they tell me the same thing we have 100 orders a day we take them as they come I’ll give you a call when we start working on it. Well the call never came and I’m still waiting.Then one phone call that a place to Aperia the representative told me that there is paperwork that they are still waiting on, The representative then stayed it he will place me on a brief hold and when he came back on the phone he stated there’s 100 orders and we will notify you when we get to your order he basically stated the same thing on the first part of the phone call, So basically I got nowhere I got nowhere With this representative he was just like the other representatives I have spoken with. Now that I have pain on my left foot I Support to get out of bed, This all could happen prevented if Apria order process my order next time I will order through Amazon can get it within a day. Now I know why companies are going out of business like this one and it’s because they’re not quick enough.

My Mom got a wheelchair from them in December. I was told that it was a purchase & that Medicare covered it. My mom who has dementia got a call today that they were going to pick it up same day due to the fact that she has transitioned to Hospice. Unbeknownst to us they have their own DME that is responsible for providing it. Who gives a handicapped patient less than a days notice? No sympathy when I asked if we could have time to get a replacement!

Horrible experience and customer service. Said insurance denied breast pump request but couldnt tell me why. Insurance insist breat pump is covered, so now having to start all over again with a different company, so wasted over a month of time with back and forth phone calls.

This company only wants your money and doesnt care about your health. I have used my cpap for about 20 days and they still have not properly fit it for me. Nothing but excuses from customer service as to how a respiratory therapist cant meet with me due to covid-19. I guess it is easier for them to sit at home not working and collecting a pay check while the rest of us work so we can pay them. Billing department is rude and incompetent. Trying to follow their instructions but all you will get is sleep deprivation from a machine that is poorly setup and not fit to you so you can feel better. If you are looking for health equipment of any kind convince your insurance company to use someone else. This company really sucks at what they do. Wish there was a way to give them a lower rating but sadly it is not possible to give them zero or negative stars.

I am not sure why there are negative comments about Apria but the four ladies I worked with were exceptional at customer service and extremely accommodating when I visited their office a week ago!! They went above and beyond to assist me with getting my C-pap equipment and explaining everything to me!! They also were very professional and extremely helpful!! I would recommend them to everyone I know who needs medical equipment to live!!! Thank y’all for everything you did and gave me!! I am extremely grateful for what y’all did on my behalf!!

Came for 9am appointment. Said they did not have equipment. Told it would be 10 minutes. We have now waited 30 minutes and still waiting. Also told our soft goods would arrive by 12/31. It us now 1/2 and still waiting. People depend on their oxygen. Going to look for another supplier.

I know the other reviews dont seem to be very good but my experience with them was exceptional. My mother discharged from the hospital and was going to be sent home with O2.The care team and driver ; knowledgeable and repeatedly taught me how to administer the O2 to my momma. Sadly, my momma passed, but I have the best memories with how Apria took care of my momma and making her transition into Hospice with no hiccups . Apria provides the best care.

Amazing!My doctors office kept messing up my prescription for my cpap. They had me at a level 4 and should be at a 16. After a week of trying to get them to update the script the right way myself I reached out to aprea and spoke to Nikole... who jumped in and fought for me. She worked really hard so I could sleep tonight. Many phone calls. Hours back and forth with my doctors office. She even followed up after her shift on a friday to make sure everything worked out. ThaNk you Nikole!!!

This place is AWFUL...customer service is non existent. Billed my CC after I was all paid up and have yet to receive a refund..its been a year now !!! Tried to tell me I was on a 13 month rental but when I signed up it was supposed to be a 10 month rental.Will NEVER use them again !!!

Wish I could give negative stars but unfortunately I cant. When setting up my account with Apria Nicole told me I would be bill $13.85 a month for my cpap machine. After I made a $97. and change payment. I recieved a bill yesterday for $227.39. I called local office and wss told they didnt know why I was getting this bill. Then was told to call billing. So I did and was told it was my deductible. I call the local office back and they told me I didnt have a deductible when I set it up so they dont know why I would have one. If I didnt need the cpap machine I would have them come get it. Will never recommend them to anyone.

After a year of using the equipment I received a bill from this company. They said it was because my insurance denied payment because I hadnt met my deductible yet. I told them to come get it that I wasnt going to pay for it. They have yet to show up and they are still charging me for the machine. The driver knows what time I get home and keeps calling me asking me to leave work early. They need to do their jobs and come get my machine and stop charging because I am not paying

Natalie and everyone in the Apria office in Gilbert were fantastic in getting my CPAP machine for me and making it a simple and easy process. I would definitely suggest this office since they were super helpful and accommodating to my situation.

Received a defective CPAP machine. Apria expects me to drive to one of their offices to exchange it. Which means an hour drive each way. Add to that I can not contact the local office to confirm they received the new unit for exchange and the 888 number cant confirm. I have no intention of driving there without confirmation. Might cancel anyway and find another company to provide my equipment. Ridiculous to expect me to expend 2.5 hours and the cost of driving 100 miles to exchange a brand new unit.

I know the other reviews dont seem to be very good but my experience with them was first class, even though I didnt even end up buying anything. They actually gave me some equipment that helped us complete a flight test, beleive it or not. The girl on reception was exceptional!!PT6ER

Not worth even one star. Terrible customer service- so bad, they will not give out the phone number of the local office that services the customer. What a run-around to get any information. Another medical device company that doesnt care about the patient, only what they can fleece out of Medicare and your insurance provider. Ridiculously high costs to the providers, and terrible customer service. Patients need some competent, honest competition as an alternative to Apria.In the meantime, they should be investigated.

Wow just wow! They are one of the most ridiculous companies I have dealt with. They dont listen to word you say and up charge your insurance. I ended up to going with this company because i just couldnt deal with it any more.. too many things to list.

I have been on oxygen since 1995. My original supplier was bought out by someone, who was bought out by someone else, who was bought out by Apria. My experience with Apria while living in Utah was excellent in every way. Now that I live in Arizona, I have had nothing but headaches.Every year Medicare requires paperwork to be completed and other hoops through which we need to jump. This office has been disorganized by not supplying the necessary forms for the doctor, and not getting all the correct information into the hands of the people who require it. I have not gotten a bill from them in over a year: Ive called and asked, and theyve said they need to wait for Medicare to pay their portion (but apparently the hoops were not all jumped through, so Medicare hasnt paid). Now I get a COLLECTION notice for non-payment - - - and Ive never received a bill. Apria needs to be purchased by another, more organized, company. Left hands and right hands have no clue what the other one is doing.

Made a phone call to order a wheelchair. At the beginning of the call I ask the person I didn’t want to proceed unless I could pickup the wheelchair today. She said that was fine and we proceeded to a 20 min phone call going over all my medical info and insurance. When she was about to hang up she asked me to fax my prescription and it would take 7-10 days for processing to get the wheelchair. What a joke. I told them to cancel and I’d call someone else. Terrible service. If they would have told me in the beginning that I wouldn’t be able to get it for 7-10 days I would have politely said thank you but I’ll keep looking.

I was instructed to call them as soon as I got home from the hospital. We called and it took several hours before anyone showed up. It was past midnight, so we excused the delivery man. This company is very disorganized and inconsiderate of its customers. I had the oxygen for three months and during that time I received several phone calls asking for the same information. My doctor put me on a new medication that negated the need for oxygen and his office faxed APRIA informing them that I no longer required their services. I called the day after the fax was sent and was told that I would receive a call either that day or the day after as to when they would pick up their stuff. I waited nearly a week for that call and I called them to see what was going on. After a rather long wait the person on the other end came back and asked me about tomorrow, but that wasnt a good day for us, so we have picked the day after tomorrow and we are holding our breath now to see if they show up. After reading the other reviews on this company I am afraid that we might have a long wait. If so I will be back to add to this review.

This company has no idea how to run a business, let alone deal with health care!! I had surgery that required a walker and commode riser, called Apria because they were near my home, they said I would have these items within 10 days. First of all, that is completely ridiculous that it could take that long, but I gave Apria the benefit of the doubt. 15 days later, Im still waiting... Called multiple times and could not get a supervisor to talk to; an email would be sent to escalate my order. Absolutely worst customer service, and when I demanded to speak to a supervisor, I was put on hold for almost 5 minutes and then disconnected.

My doctors office sent over a prescription and order for a breast pump when I was 34 weeks on a monday. I called on a Friday after not hearing anything from them all week only to be told yes they got my prescription but it hadnt been reviewed and insurance hasnt even been contacted yet. I was extremely upset considering. They also told me they need to order the breast pump but they werent going to until after insurance was verified. Once ordered it takes 7-10 days for them to get the pump. I asked to speak with a manager they said it would take an hour for a call back due to high call volume and they would call me back. Well... a week went by and the next Friday I finally called them after not getting a call. They STILL hadnt reviewed my insurance. I told the lady I wasnt getting off the phone this time until I talked to someone. Guess what it worked.. I still havent received my breast pump they said they would call me in 48 hours. We shall see if that really happens. I will never use apria Healthcare ever again! They argue with customers and obviously cant get a simple task done. (My insurance fully covers and I had already talk to them). They must be under staffed or they just simply dont care. I also had the customer service representative argue with me that I wasnt even due yet.. I am going to be delivering early most likely and thats none of there business just process my order! The only reason they deserve one star is they did carry the best brand breast pump. Now if I could get it that would be great!! ***EDIT*** I RECOMMEND GOING TO APRIA WHEN YOU HAVE AN ISSUE. I WENT TO COMPLAIN TO THEM IN PERSON OVER THE PHONE WASNT WORKING! PAUL THE SUPERVISOR I BELIEVE IS HIS NAME HELPED ME RIGHT AWAY AND VERIFIED MY INSURANCE AND IS SENDING ME HOME WITH ONE TODAY. THANKS TO HIM FOR SAVING THE DAY. STILL NOT HAPPY WITH MY OVERALL EXPERIENCE BUT HE HAS DEFINITELY HELPED!!

Terrible customer service and no respect for peoples time. It took them 2 days for them to process a home oxygen order which kept my family member on the hospital far longer than he needed to be. When he was moved to hospice and on his deathbed I was told that in order to return the items I would have to be at his house during a 4 hour window. That seemed excessive to me but I did it anyway. When the time frame I was given came and passed my wife called to see where they were. She was told that our time had been changed and that the new time frame would require me to stay an additoonal 6 HOURS even though we did not receive a phone call. I ended up wasting most of my family members second to last day alive waiting for a pick up that didnt come instead of being with family. I just delivered the equipment myself wasting much of another day on their incompetence.

Is it possible to give a negative star rating? We have a cpap for my hubby. The machine is broken...took months to get it fixed. You call and the blame you for their inability to communicate within their own offices. Find another company if you need breathing assistance. the left hand has no clue what the right is doing. Oh, and their billing practices are shady. i had to get my health insurance company involved cause they were billing us after we met our deductable, and would not stop.

This company does not know anything about customer service. I had a cpap stollen and got a new one, I did not wish to rent it. But my insurance said I needed to for three months then purchase. 7 months later I am still renting it. I also ordered a new humidifier for my unit and just received a chamber for the unit, the one that is not working. I am so frustrated with this company it is not funny. Do not if you can ever use them.

Orders placed don’t get processed and if they do happen to get processed, things are always missing. Documentation is sent to them which they always claim they don’t receive be it via fax or email. People depend on you for their medical equipment and supplies. It’s terrible!
