My last visit was awesome because the employees were very friendly even though they were about to close especially that cashier with the pretty, long nails. Shes great at customer service. Sometimes I get mean employees here but this time was delightful, fast and easy. I went on September 1st at 7:30 pm.

Needed to replace my makeup, so I hit up my favorite store. Wont lie, it was very expensive doing so! However, if you want quality products, you have to invest in yourself Ladies.Love my Mac lipstick! Oooh La La!

First shopping experience for makeup and at Ulta. Great location. Not a large selection for African American/Black people, price in store didnt match price online. Available selections were sparce, but overall still fun to look around and explore offerings

Limited in-store products and rude customer service. Spent a while looking for a product without receiving any assistance from any employee. Check out also took longer than it should’ve. 3 employees helping one customer at checkout look for an item while they had everyone in line wait. Stay home and just shop online. Save yourself the frustration and time.

Very rude, employees at every station and when I asked for help they just point at a direction. Luckily a different employee who was at a register noticed me looking lost came and helped me out.

Benefit brow-bar is outstanding. Stephanie’s technique is flawless. Love Michelle from the salon. She is very detailed oriented and my hair looks and feel great.

These five stars go out to that sweet employee with glasses who helped me grab a sample of mac foundation!! i didn’t catch her name but it was probably the best interaction in the store! employees are almost always rude, never greet you and don’t show any sign of curiosity!

Huge selection of drug store and higher end make up. Hair salon, hair products, hair appliances, make up brushes, sponges, tools, etc. This has become my new go-to-store. No more running to the department store or the mall. They probably have whatever youre looking for and great package deals right now during the holidays.

Girl at benefit counter was sweet and helpful. Other store employees treated you as if you were going to steal just because i was browsing the store looking for new things to try out. Its really sad cuz i spent about $100 and they still treated me poorly. I guess i didnt spend enough?

I was overwhelmed at first, but began to feel that I was in a candy store with all of the choices. Staff was friendly and helpful. Store is well organized.

This is a very very large makeup store. And their prices are good for being a large Makeup Company. They carry high-end makeup and also regular drugstore LOreal makeup Etc.They carry all things from makeup to make overs they have stuff for your hair they have I think a small amount of stuff for your nails they have makeup all things girly, sparkly, glittery awesomeness!

Staff is friendly and helpful. Always lots of items on sale racks.

Had a wonderful cut and formal updo preformed by fantastic stylist Ashlynn. We brought an inpritaion photo and she was able to replicate it with ease. She was a great communicator and even had great pointers on how we could replicate it on our own. I really couldn’t say enough good things about our experience. Thanks Ashlynn!

If you can avoid this specific Ulta altogether then that would be to your benefit. I went in yesterday to the MAC station at this ulta store at 10:30 a.m I walked in and looked around and all the workers were talking and didn’t greet me, and when I found the MAC station the one girl who was working it was doing her own make up and looked annoyed when I asked her to match me. I told her I’ve had bad experiences and everywhere I go they aren’t giving me the right color for my skin tone, and she started putting different foundation colors on me. After three, she showed me one that looked perfect for my skin (using as little communication as she possible could) and she grabbed the box and gave it to me. She didn’t offer me a pump which I didn’t need I knew, and when I got home it was hard to get the foundation out of the bottle AND it’s completely orange and not the right foundation at all. Now I have $40 dollar makeup that is orange. I don’t expect much from a beauty store in Gilroy but if you’re desperate just go to San Jose.

Every time I go into this parricular ULTA location all the beauty advisors go above and beyond to help me with whatever it might be that Im looking for. They are able to answer any questions that I might have and recommend products. Love going there whenever I can make the 30min drive unlike the other closest ULTA location which is also 30mins away but opposite direction.

Dont listen to the ulta ladies in San Marcos, TX! Every time I go in there to get foundation they try to make me get a different kind and Ive had to go back and return 2 different foundations because its not what I wanted! I just go in to buy the one I want to try and they always try to persuade you into a lower rated foundation so weird!

I had my bangs dyed a dark blue for 60$ and it came out within a week. Worst place ever. 😤 I also specifically asked them if it was permanent and she said it was.

Great if you love used makeup. Ulta, as a chain, is awesome, but this particular location is gross. Its not Ultas fault, its the staff who isnt monitoring their product. Rude people love to visit this location and try on all the non-tester makeup. You have to check everything you buy there for lip and fingerprints. Disgusting. Another issue, which is this Ultas fault, is the endcaps at the front of the store. They get heated up by the sun which bleaches/melts the makeup. Definitely avoid all the Essence products, which get the brunt of the torture.

Horrible experience. And most of the employees have attitude problems. Completely unprofessional. The Cashier Butterfly was kind.A♡
