Always I can find whatever I want, cheaper, very friendly stuff, fresh food and very convenient, just one block from my house.

Idk about the grocery store part but it was clean when i went in to find the taqueria and it reminded me of a mexican safeway with the different departments in spanish, which was pretty cool and a long time coming.anyways, back to why i went there, the deli (taqueria).i ordered the carnitas plate and it was the bomb and the red chile was fire, very,very good !!!!

They’re struggling to hire people like so many other businesses and customer service is impacted by this, there’s added stress on the staff that do show up. I give five stars because they’re trying their best and I like the variety of products, plus their prices are reasonable.

What i like about this super market is that they have many asian ingredients that i need. What i dont like is whenever i go to the produce area, there are always vegetables that are rotting/wilting, fruits that have mold, and more expensive than markets with more business. Today, i went to pick up some blackberries and i saw mold, not just one but 2 containers have mold in them. Not good. Produce must be fresh and checked at all times.

When somebody orders ahead in the kitchen, maybe prioritize those orders over those that walk-in. I came to pick up an order that they weren’t even aware they had.

Really expensive, I dont think so, be back to purchase anything, some associates dont know what to do.If you asked for something they have no idea.

Daily baked pan is tasty! The hot meals selections are fine. Their Taco Tuesdays and the butcher counter have people eager to put in their orders The aisles are kept clear. I like being able to get in and out efficiently

I like Cardenas Mkts. Today I went in to buy the $5 whole chicken Special.DO NOT BUY THAT CHICKEN SPECIAL ITS EXTREMELY DRY, HARD TO CHEW, BURNED just simply nasty. Everything else is ok their food doesnt have much sabor/flavor. Its just ok for me.

Fast friendly service never had a bad experience after shopping 5 years

I ordered a cake for my daughters birthday and I ordered a few days advanced. When I went to pick up my cake and they did not even have record of me ordering the cake. So they gaveMe a “random” cake from their fridge and it wasn’t even what I ordered and PAID for. Also there was men outside the store harassing me to “clean my head lights”. Super unprofessional area. Won’t ever return here.

Bad service at the toco line. Bad attitude. Disgusting cold food. I do not recommend this place.  Probably the worst service and the worst food ever and im a truck driver who been places. Spicy salsa sucked it had no spice at all and just tasted like smashed up tomatoes.  At least the limes had flavor lol

Purchased a tres leches cake today, and it is extremely dry. Most disgusting cake Ive ever tried. Also, the cashier at the bakery practically dropped my cake and ruined the frosting. I paid for the cake and left, but now I wish I hadnt.

Service at the meat department and at the registers took a very long time for the volume of shoppers

More help in deli (tacos, burritos, many cooked meat plates) area. All else is very very good! Regular customer☺

Great prices i live in Hollister and this is my go to place for meats, poultry and veggies. I just wish they had more cashiers open when they are busy.

Come here on a weekly basis to by my grocerys for home love the food they have but sometimes can get very pricey but i prefer to come here than Nob hill or Safeway now they are even more pricier.

For a white girl trying this place is awesome. Everyone is so nice and helpful! Must admit I was intimidated at first, but it is great! All the great fruits and vegetables. And the meat counter! You wont find another in this area (or surrounding area) to beat it!

Taco Tuesdays are awesome because their delicious tacos are only $1 each. There is a wide variety of meats and they come with onions, cilantro, and salsa. There is a huge deli section along with a large bakery. I prefer this store over Arteagas.

No amount of patience will be good enough for customers who are made to wait three times the acceptable time, especially at their food section.You have to be a saint to shop here.

I was carrying 2 boxes and groceries and an employee working in the produce section not only offered but went outside to get a grocery cart for me. Outstanding customer service! He was so helpful and doing more than is required.

Full service deli was awesome, full service meat department was as well. The overhead music was way too loud, isles were too narrow. All in all, a pleasant place to shop.

In the morning early the food is fresh. Beutiful soups. Carne vegetables cooked.

Dirty place not following 6 feet distant, not cleaning cashier countertop, nor cleaning shopping carts, floors are dirty appears no sweeping, employees not following 6 feet apart.

The food is good and the prices are reasonable but often I find myself waiting a liitle longer than expected to be served.

I ordered 12 Chicken Tamales and received 12 cheese and Jalapeño. I have been calling about the error so the manager will know but no body answers the phone. My concern is do they understand English, and if you complain will they care?The music in the store was so loud, I thought I was in a bar. Me and my sister had to yell at each other. Maybe thats why they cant hear the phone. Lol

Checked out after Cardenas took over Mi Pueblo and was disappointed with the level of service in the taqueria area! Used to love it when it was Mi Pueblo but not sure I will be going back! Such a shame!

Really bad costumer service . In the morning when i used to go to get my pan and my Coffe everything was neat, clean and ready, now when i go the coffee machine its not ready they dont have cups for the coffee and they see you and they keep on walking instead of asking you if you need help . Today i went to get tacos and they had 3 ladies working the food court but all they do is chit chat . They served me the tacos after almost 15 minutes wait. Not looking forward to go to this place anymore

Very nice people, locked keys and cell phone in my pickup, went in there to see if i could get a coat hanger, they said no but I could use their phone. Life saver, I would like to say thank you to the lady that helped me out.

Been waiting for 15 mins for just carne asada bt the lady cant understand what im saying so she called the other lady and again i have to wait for another 10 mins and I asked her how many more mins do i have to wait and she said theres 3 more customers waiting and I told her you should atleast let me know before hand so i can decide whether to wait or not very very bad customer service 👎🏻

As far as I know, they almost always have the Exotic Powerade flavors instock. Cardenas used to be Mi Pueblo. Same location and building but fewer choices now.

This location is not what it use to be. My husband went in to order the food. While I waited in the car with the kids. The girl behind the counter was about to end her shift and had a attitude problem. I know if I went in she wouldnt be talking to me that way. My husband ordered the pozole and rice and two tamales. We got home the food had no flavor what so ever! Horrible. Oh and the girl behind the counter even tried to over charge my husband. He saw it before he left. Got his money back. Check your receipt before you leave before you end up paying for something you didnt even order. We wont be back at this location again thats for sure. I rather go to the one in San Jose off Capital and White.
