A very good place to do produce shopping, as the name mentioned even better if you want to buy garlic. They have good variety of Garlic and Garlic pickles as well. The highlight was Garlic Ice cream. My and my friends were intrigued by the sign board outside this shop since a while that how the garlic ice cream will taste like. This was the main reason we went over and to our surprise it was very delicious. I can whole heartedly recommend it unless you dont like Garlic. We were surprised as it has a very light garlic taste although I was expecting a strong garlic taste. All in all it was a good experience.

We love this place. Drive by coming from San Diego a few times a year and its a must stop by for us. I load up on my favorite snacks, seasonings, sauces/salsas and of course garlic ice cream!! Wonderful place to buy gifts too!! Love this place and the friendly staff. My 2 year old says the garlic ice cream is very yummy try it!

The place for all things garlic!!! The selection of products was ample. Everything from hot sauces, BBQ sauces, wines, olives, garlic ice cream and even actual garlic. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Great shop! My dog loved ALL the smells...haha. They have garlic ice cream, so we had to try it. Now that we tried it, we will NEVER eat it again 🤣.

We stayed overnight in Gilroy on our road trip because garlic. So, of course, when in Rome, buy garlic. The people here are very nice and expect to pay tourist prices for good quality food. The garlic braids are so pretty and fragrant that Id hate to break it up, but I love garlic more than I love pretty dictations decorations 😉

Bought braids a year ago and they were awesome. Got some about 6 months ago and they were not as good. I contacted Garlic World and they promptly got back to me and took care of the issue. These things can happen with fresh food. I highly recommend that if you want great garlic flavor, and quality of product you should consider getting garlic from them. Very cool, excellent customer service.

Great place to stop by!! Usually smells very strong even from the road but this time there wasnt. Garlic galore! They have pickled garlic with different spices for purchase and samples in the back room. My fave was the Spicy Pickled Garlic, $13 for i think a 32oz?They sell fruits, seeds, nuts, beer in the fridge, and GARLIC ICE CREAM!! Not my fave but worth a try.Has its own lot, restrooms for use

Love Garlic World, I brought my dad to Gilroy garlic festival and he fell in love with Gilroy garlic so Garlic World helps me out by allowing me to ship my dad 5lbs of fresh garlic every season.

Prices are a little high but thats what you get for a small store. Worth the trip out. My brother passed away today 5 years ago. We wanted pickles and garlic. Found a wine from the year he died and the name is fun for the sake of a garlic store, vampire. Going to take it home and have a glass for him. Staff was helpful and sweet to my niece and nephew.

Wow! My trip here was amazing! You can’t beat a local family owned business. I had been told about it and finally made it down. The selection was amazing and the food is so good. I had a sweet tooth so I got a bunch of good snacks and treats. Also a very nice produce section. When you go you have to get “The Pepper Plant” to sauce. It’s amazing I bought 4 bottles and got home and realized I messed up and should have got more. Lastly I have to mention the service! Friendly and very helpful. I am terrible with names but a young lady and a young man helped me and they were perfect. I look forward to heading down again and shopping there again.

If you love garlic this is the place to go. They have free samples of the garlic pickles.Get the garlic ice cream. It is really good.The service is quite welcoming.

I love this place, this gourmet garlic-inspired grocery store is a fun stop when you are passing through Gilroy.We stop here when ever we go to the bay area and its been a decade since we have been here.Even though we have to double back heading south, it is worth the time.Came today to pick up the fav spices and garlic amenities we love the garlic stuffed olives.We bought a garlic rope which is a group of garlic that they weave into a great wall hanging for your wall, you cut off the bulbs from the bottom and work your way up! this timeI bought a jar of double stuffed olives with jalapeño and garlic stuffed in them! OFF THE HOOK GOOD!Cant wait to come back to the bay so we can go back to Garlic World for more garlic goodness!

A great place to shop anything and everything garlic. Staff is very helpful and easy to approach. Produce is fresh. It is little expensive compared to Bay area grocery stores but quality of products is impeccable.

Awesome!! I stopped at the garlic place not far from here and felt accosted by the rude worker. They had signs up everywhere and had a nasty portapotty wide open in the parking lot. It was gross. I left to take my business elsewhere and that is when we found Garlic World.This store is classier and better on so many levels. They let you use their restrooms and treat you with respect instead of going full commie trying to spray you down with lysol coming in the front door. I just ate a whole bag of these fried garlic things. Somewhere in the car there is allegedly garlic chocolate chip cookies. The garlic ice cream was on point. The yogurt covered pretzels were pretty effing amazing, too. We drive through this area four times a year and I will go out of my way to hit this place everytime.

My first visit to this store was not successful. I bought a garlic popcorn with other stuffs like garlic pickles. After returning home, I found the popcorn was so old that it tasted very weird, a mix of plastic bag flavor and rotten oil. I had to just throw it out. :-(

They serve everything with garlic even ice creams! J tried the garlic ice cream but I didn’t like it! Also, before you reach the area ( Gilroy) you are going to smell the garlic from far away!

Must stop for your road trip, especially if you are a garlic fan. Everything is good - including the garlic ice cream and garlic chocolate chip cookies (we all preferred the ice cream). They have dried fruit, nuts, stuffed olives and all sorts of garlic from fresh bulbs to pickled garlic to garlic infused oils. Place smells great too.

Its a garlic paradise, even an ice cream with a hint of a garlic. By some accounts, strong garlic smell is effective against flu. Who knows, maybe the same thing is true for coronavirus?

Its Gilroy! Garlic capital of the world. This place was so fun and interesting. Awesome seasonings, yummy candies and dodads you didnt know you needed. Just a few people wearing a mask, it really wasnt crowded.

They have it all and way friendlier staff than the garlic shoppe right down the road. Garlic world is the place to stop and they dont charge you for a mask you can get for free!

If you like garlic, then this is definitely the place for you. If you LOVE garlic, then you will probably lose your mind and not know what to do with yourself. If you ever conceived of mixing garlic with anything, they have it here. Even to the point of garlic ice cream (which is not for the faint of heart, I might add).

My expectations were higher than the actuality. I didnt think there was anything unique about their products, except they did have a lot of dried fruit which served as a good healthy snack. As far as garlic products, nothing really unique-- olives, dressings, sauces, hot sauces. Nothing I couldnt find in my grocery store. Very nice staff though.

It was neat. I was a little disappointed that most of the bottled stuff– sauces, salsa etc– seemed to be imported when this is Gilroy- garlic capitol USA. The olive oils seemed to be imported oil blended locally. Oh well.

If you like garlic, this is the place for you! Garlic world is very aptly named. Theyve garlicked everything and some more. I usually stop here to grab a cup of the garlic ice cream because it is surprisingly very yummy! A nice rest stop because youve still got over an hour to reach San Francisco.

Was expecting something a little more culinary, as I am a garlic freak. Tried both the garlic ice cream and garlic kettle corn. Wont repeat those mistakes...This is more of a tourist stop than a place garlic lovers would find something new and yummy.

I love this place they have such a great selection of dried fruit the exceeds the usual finds they have dried kiwi pineapple peaches nectarines just to name a few and such a great variety of nuts as well plain or in a multitude of flavors sweet salty spicy you name it everything is so fresh and you can buy pre packaged or by the pound they also carry a great selection of wines jams and jellies dipping sauces etc... Perfect place to make a gift basket can’t wait to go pack very nice young woman at the register too!
