I was sold a used appliance that does not work as it should and I have not been called or reached out to as promised by management. Jessica and Nicole is at this location and although Jessica tried helping she can only do so much. Nicole was very argumentative when I told her the dryer was not working after I paid this dryer off saying that they are not responsible for the non working appliance they sold me although this dryer was paid off early on October 14 it still would have been under contract. I just got the dryer and have not had this dryer for more than 6 months and it is not working. The dryer is not drying my clothes and stopping mid cycle. I have tried running the dryer more than one cycle and my clothes didn’t dry in even three dry cycles. I am very disappointed with the lack of response and customer service from management. I need a working dryer. Unfortunately, this location and the management is very unethical. Nicole tried to argue based on the fact that they gave me a discounted dryer for $300 due to the dents and dings that they are no responsible for anything and will not be paying for the appliance to be fixed although they sold me a faulty dryer. NEVER BUY USED APPLIANCES ESPECIALLY FROM RENT A CENTER IN GLADSTONE. I asked how to contact corporate and Nicole refused to give me a phone number on how to contact them. She said file a complaint I did it before on them. She was very rude and argumentative based on the fact that I filed a prior complaint I assume because she kept mentioning this. Someone need to train Nicole on how to be customer service friendly. She is very rude and unethical. She previously told me that she would honor my dryer being fixed if I paid it off early and it wasn’t working. Now she is saying she will not honor anything she previously said basically because she said Rent A Center will not be responsible for the broken appliance they sold me.

When they came to deliver an employee of theres a woman sat in the truck the ENTIRE time didn’t even set foot in my COMPLEX. While her co-worker and I moved the furniture to the 3rd floor! I’m easily 90 degree weather. I did not pay to move the furniture in myself. What if I had gotten hurt? I have a job myself and would have had to miss work! Called manager she did not care suppose to give me call back no response so I am going to corporate. Even when I when into store before this I received a smart comment saying “they don’t give furniture away” like it’s not common knowledge. I will say the one mover was a great guy that’s why I’m giving 1 star but the rest is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL

Alexis and Kenneth helped me more than a customer could hope for. Kenneth made sure I was happy with phone I chose. Even when I was not sure and changed my mind a few times. he was very patient. Very understanding and very dedicated worker.Alexis was also very patient, cheerful and very thoughtful. Alexis called to different stores and didn’t stop trying or get flustered she kept a positive attitude including KennethThese two employees im blessed with just kindness and patience in there hearts.They are two individuals you won’t ever come by easy life. Excellent customer service all the way around.I’m very happy for the phone they tried so hard to find for me.Thank you both

I keep going back. Jessica and Alexis are so freaking awesome and helpful. I could purchase this stuff anywhere but the great customer staff keeps me coming back when I pay something off! Thanks ladies for making every purchase smooth and awesome!

Very poor communication and nothing but lies from the store manager and district manager. No accountability for their mistakes, but always blaming others. Would not recommend going there. Fori better deal i would recommend going to Aarons .
