I had the pleasure of coming across this wonderful liquor store. You can’t ask for a nicer staff. Gary was a treat to talk to. He had great knowledge of Kentucky bourbon‘s as well up-and-coming whiskeys. By luck, he had a field rep in the store (Chad) and gave us a rundown of what’s happening in the industry. My wife and I stopped in today looking for treats. Were from SC, where bourbon is heavily allocated. So, I was looking to grab hard-to-find-for-me Buffalo Trace products, as well as New Riff (not distributed in SC yet). Stephanie was EXTREMELY helpful, and also made some recommendations of a couple brands I wasnt familiar with. The other gentleman that worked there (sorry I didnt catch your name!) was helpful as well. We really enjoyed our stop, and highly recommend Barren River Beverages.

A quaint little side of the road liquor store...Was on the bike and had to pick up some beer before pondering back into dry county on vacation...poor fella in there by himself and looked very lonely. Pay him a visit and give him some business for me!

The selection is second to none, and the staff go above, and beyond to help you get what youre looking for. From locally made wine to the finest Whiskey and Bourbon, cant go wrong here. My go to place for all my alcohol needs, and they have accessories as well.

I dont drink but several close friends use this place on the regular and Im certain if they didnt like the services they would trade somewhere else but they dont so I assume its a good place

My husband and I stopped in on our way to Mammoth Cave from Bowling Green. We were looking for some Kentucky Bourbon. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. They even showed us a bottle that has a stopper from Abraham Lincoln’s border oak. If you are a novice or a collector, this is the place to go. There is ample parking for your boat or camper too!

I had a wonderful experience here! Lynn was very helpful to this out of towner who knows nothing about bourbon. He suggested the Woodford Reserve and I am very happy with it. There is even a tasting area! Very cool! Don’t miss the chance to stop here...whether you are a local or just passing through? You’ll be happy you stopped in.

Nice store with very nice and friendly employees. I purchased Buzz Balls from there. They are small round containers of #readytodrink, #womenowned cocktails made with 100% juice and premium or imported spirits with 15% alcohol by volume.
