I purchased a sofa a few years ago and was really pleased with its quality and the courteous service, so I recently purchased a chair. Excellent chair, and the courteous service continues. The sales person even sent me a weekly update on the progress of the chair.

Our sofa, loveseat, and recliner were exactly what we ordered. Our salesperson, Anil, was great. He communicated with us throughout the wait to get the furniture. And while everyone is experiencing long delays because of shipping issues, our order was only slightly late. Overall, great experience. Also, delivery guys are terrific.

Custom furniture arrived on time and in perfect condition. Very happy with the new furniture. Delivery went well & the Crew was nice, but the crew should have cleaned up a little more before they left. Lots of small pieces of trash left on the floor, but overall they did an OK job

My family and I had the pleasure of working with Makelle. From the moment we walked in the door she guided us to the perfect purchase. She was patient through all of my questions and indecisiveness. Her customer service was the best. She sent a weekly update on our order and the anticipated arrival date. We settled on a beautiful couch and two recliners. They were the perfect addition to our living room. We will be back in the future.

The place is quite a bit pricey. Could find nice furniture for cheaper around the corner. And of course you cant find out the price online so you have to go to the store and be stunned in person.. My reply basically says that cheaper furniture (anything under 3k-4k) wont last and will need to be replaced.. i dont know where they shop but I literally went a few min down the road and got a beautiful quality couch for 2k.. and trust me, its going to last lol

We did not buy from the TSS - selection, cost and delivery did not meet our goals. Maybe it will work for some one else. We did enjoy talking with our sales rep, Mallorie. She was knowledgeable friendly and clear on the Old Luskins methods. Not a strike against her, I asked a lots of question she provided honest answers. I have no problem with that... : )

Delivery of sofa/loveseat was outstanding & didnt had to wait as long to have it made. Due to its size, both items had to be brought in as pieces. The furniture persons reassembled both items and ensured they functioned properly. They did a professional job - no damage to structure or walls. After trying it out for several days, were happy with our new comfortable sofa & loveseat. Would recommend to anyone whos interested in purchasing new furniture consider The Sofa Store as a viable option.

I purchased a sofa from the Sofa Store and had it delivered in September, 2020, this was a new, factory ordered sofa, not a floor model.I had the sofa serviced in December. 2020 and again in January of 2021, the problem I am having with the couch is, the cushions are lumpy, uncomfortable, and the springs are sagging. There may even be a problem with the frame warping.The serviceman attempted to repair it and after the second attempt he said there is nothing more he can do. I talked to the store manager twice and they did not offer a remedy, they did offer a 20% discount on a new couch, but they would not take the original couch back. The store manager seemed not to want to be bothered and predetermined that she was not going to take the couch back.I would never buy from this store again and I will never purchase a Flex Steel product, their products are junk.

Purchased flex steel reclining love seat. The frame is literally warping. It’s not covered under the warranty. Just low quality furniture that’s lifetime warranty is not honored. Just look how the seats are slanting toward the armrest, not even a year old.

I completely understand what every manufacturer is going though and I dont blame the company one bit. Overall I understand change for employees and business during Covid is new, he did reassure me that they are doing everything they can to prevent this from happing to someone else in the future. Matt was wonderful! Although we were quoted 6-8 weeks for our delivery it has been 9 weeks so far. They have said up to another 2 weeks. That’s a lot longer than promised. What really gets to me.. is the professionalism. We have reached out multiple times to see when they would deliver our couch and get updates. Not once have they reached out to us about it on their own. Mind you we live in Delaware so our delivery fee is $399.99. My husband is doing his best to take care of the situation while on active duty, and they just don’t seem to really care. It’s a waste of our time and energy when we have to put out all the work. They only deliver one day of the week for us and they expect us to be here. How can I prepare for that when they say one more week, then another week, then another week or two... they are so unpredictable. I feel like they care about a purchase and that’s it. Once you walk out that door the customer service is not the same. I can’t give any stars on the sofa because I still don’t have it. I’ll be sure to write one when it arrives and I’ll write updates as well.

I was so impressed with the level of service. The gentleman that helped us pointed us to some really beautiful furniture that we ordered. I highly recommend the sofa store.

I would not suggest that anyone purchase a mattress from this sofa store in glen Burnie, The one we purchased only lasted 1 1/2 years before it sunk in the middle. The store manager is the daughter of the owner and neither one of them offered any assistance to replace it or even suggested that we contact the manufacturer to assist us. Just didn’t seem to care. You would be better off purchasing your mattress at a store that specializes in mattress and stands behind there products.

Great products especially Palliser!! The quality, style, color selection, material selection and people are all excellent. I would buy one of everything if I could. You can design whatever you want to from scratch as well. This store is a must see!!!

It’s the worse experience ever. I asked to the salesAssociate how long usually takes and she said 4 to 6 weeks because COVID -19 . I haven’t received anything yet and it’s week 12 so 3 months and my wife is 8 months pregnant. They don’t give any updates and sometimes they said that they cannot find your order just because they know that the order is delay. Every time that I called they change the shipping date, is the same game over and over. If you know that you are having issue delivering orders do not said 4-6 weeks say they true this way the buyer prepare for it. It’s insane and sorry I never did this before but it’s frustrating. I would like to grade the products but it doesn’t look that is coming any time soon. It will be my Christmas gift apparently because it’s taking way to long.

Our sales rep was very helpful. However our Flexsteel sofa mechanism failed within 1 year. The Sofa store continues to pawn the warranty issues off on GBS, the warranty company who 4 months into the claim continues to drag their feet. My carpet and hardwood floor are ruined and we cant sit in the seat. Will not shop here again as they arent really helping us get any resolution even though we spent over $10,000 with them. I would suggest a small retailer who will actually provide service after the sale instead of excuses.

She was very helpful...I was very impressed that it was free delivery to my house... Most stores I went to charged $99.

We had been sofa shopping for a few weeks and had become pretty disenchanted from shopping online and from having a pretty bad experience at another furniture store. We were pleased to get an immediate appointment at The Sofa Store in Glen Burnie.Mallorie greeted us at the door and explained the layout of the store. She then left us to shop in peace but always managed to show up right when we had a question.We never felt pushed to hurry or pressured to make a purchase. She gave us space to make the best decision for us and then offered guidance and suggestions while we were customizing the perfect sofa for us.We cannot recommend Mallorie highly enough. She was a pleasure to work with and 10 out of 10 we would choose her again.

We found a floor display available and immediately purchased. Were asked to sign ‘as is’ ...But when getting home found is not covered on warranty. Sales rep told us up front about great warranty. Read the label and google! Don’t k ow if I’ll return.

We had an excellent experience at this store. Looking for a modern looking reclining modular sofa. Had spent hours online and been to every furniture store within 30 miles and just wasnt finding exactly what we wanted. Then we came here, and they had 2 great possibilities. Charlie Frank worked with us and was not pushy at all, very helpful, and completely transparent. In this age of buying online, it is still REALLY important to try out sofas in person, and these guys have a lot. Their prices were very reasonable compared to other places that charge similar for MUCH LOWER quality or those that charge much higher for a fancier showroom but similar sofas. PLUS, they were very happy to match online prices without any trouble. Our sofa was delivered in house in less than 3 days (incredible - look at online timeframes and many just leave on the driveway). We had a very minor issue on our sofa once they took it out of the box, and the store immediately had a high quality repair person come out and make the fix. We have already been recommending this place to our friends and people we run into because it really wasnt on our radar, and we had a great experience at this store and with Charlie.

I am very disappointed with the way this establishment does business. Waited now over two months (which we saw others had the same issue) We bought a chair and have gotten rid of the chair we had because we knew we would have a chair soon. They never followed up with us or returned a call when they said they would. If you do not contact them you will never hear from them. I told them I wanted my money back so I can go get a chair to put in my living room. I would like to get a chair now not in six months. We keep getting the runaround that someone else has to approve that but that person never calls back and they seem to never be there. Today is the last straw, I am contacting my lawyer to have him get my money back. Terrible and disappointing service. They should not be able to hold your money hostage when they cannot produce the product. I am tired of all of the excuses. Will never shop here again nor would I recommend anyone else do so. I would give zero stars but you are unable to do that.

Very disappointed with the overall service of this establishment. Sales representative informed us our merchandise would be in 6-8weeks due to COVID-19 which was fine. Unfortunately, it has now turned out to be a 12week delivery. No one contacts you regarding your order and when you enter the store to inquire about your order, you are talked down as if they are doing you a favor by taking your money. #dontbuyatsofastore

Originally it was backordered and was going to take 8/10 weeks to come in but we were so pleasantly surprised when it was here in half the time. The delivery was super easy. The team gave us a 3 hr window and called us when the were close. The delivery was efficient and very professional. Our experience exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend the sofa store!

My guy was great, sold me a sofa. Extremely patient (I came back three times to pick the right couch, the first time my two year old was running around acting like an idiot.). On the third and final visit I was with my salesman when I overheard another salesman ask the manager a question. Manager (I think he was a manager) was a prick. He spoke down to the other employees as if they were stupid right in front of me. One guy just asked a simple question and instead of giving him an answer he asked questions in return that made the guy sound like an idiot. As a manager myself, I saw the interaction as wholly unprofessional. My only regret was that I didnt call him out on it. Treat your employees with respect and stop acting like they owe you something. Again I do not know that it was a manager or simply a senior salesman but he was definitely in a position of authority or was more experienced than the other individuals. It made me uncomfortable to watch. Wouldve been five starts, shouldve been three but my salesman was really nice and patient. Love the furniture, great quality, great selection, made to order. Definitely worth the price.

I love my sofa from the Sofa store. The selections are limitless. I now have a beautiful grown up livingroom space. The delivery men were terrific with setting up my new furniture. My salesman was wonderful and more than patient with me during the process. They even stored my sofa for an additional two weeks while we were painting and refinishing our floors However, the other salesmen where very uninviting and made me feel as though they didn’t know what to do with me, let just say “cold” But I’m very pleased with my sofa.

I have purchased several items from The Sofa Store and have been THRILLED with each piece. The semi-circular leather sofa I purchased is the focal point of my living room and in three years have received dozens of compliments on the style, comfort, and durability. I also ordered a Flex Steel living room chair and ottoman with extra fabric to cover bar stool seats and kitchen chair cushions and both still look brand new and have not lost their shape nor comfort.I have purchased all my TVs from the Sofa Store and the quality of each set is superb. Installation was expertly done and I have never experienced any problems with any of my TVs. I shopped for the best price and every time, The Sofa Store was the best choice.Customer service is an A+. It was wonderful to be able to browse their very large selection in store while not also having to deal with a sales person constantly following you around. But whenever we did have a question, they were more than happy to help with an answer. The amount of customization available for every sofa was a welcome change as well. While I likely wont need another sofa for a long time, I would definitely return again should the occasion arise.

Our sales rep was very low-key, explaining the two major brands they carry and how they differ and then just letting us browse with our kids so that we could try out different models to find the look & feel we wanted. My sofa was customized, so I was a bit nervous since i hadnt seen it at the time of purchase. It arrived just the way it was described to me that it would. It was delicately wrapped and delivered with care. It was absolutely everything I wanted. Ill never shop anywhere else for a sofa!

The Store was very nice, big selection, and they were able to have my order made and shipped in much less time than was anticipated. But what really left the best impression and made us decide to order from them was how Christie treated us. If you go to this store, I highly recommend you ask for Christie. Hopefully shes still there because I plan to go back again.

I hardly ever write a review. but, I had a very frustrating experience at store. We purchased a recliner from sofa store thinking that we will get a good quality. After 1 month the color of the recliner started rubbing off. We talked to the manager at sofa store and she said that she could not help us and our sofa might not be kept at proper place because of which the color is rubbing off from the corners. We accepted that although we knew that was not the case. After 15 days we saw color rubbing off from the headrest. Sofa store people said that might be a chemical in your head which is changing color. My point is that they will have excuse for everything and they will never help you to get your recliner serviced or exchanged. They will not be helpful once the purchase is made. Please think twice before buying a recliner from that store. Buying an item from a clearance would be a bad option.

I ended up with a great saleswoman but the first 4 times I went to browse I felt I was stalked by the salespeople. Very irritating when you tell them you will find them if you need help and they follow you around. This was a long time ago so maybe its changed but high pressure salespeople make me leave a store. I do love the store though and love my furniture.

While we took a while to figure out exactly what we wanted Matt never pushed things, but always answered whatever questions we had. After about a month or so, we made the purchase. Delivery was as promised and the guys that delivered our furniture were careful and professional. A few days after delivery Matt called to make everything was okay.

The Sofa Store is a great place to buy furniture. They have a wonderful selection and Matt, the salesperson who worked with us, was extremely helpful without pressuring us in any way. I had spent some time checking prices online before going to the Sofa Store and their prices were every bit as good as the online stores if not better, plus you get to sit on the sofas and chairs that you are interested in before buying one. We ended up buying a sofa, chair, and also a new television from the Big Screen Store which part of the Sofa Store in Glen Burnie. Not only was price of the tv as good as any other place, but you get home delivery to the room of choice, and set up, double the warranty...and you get 5 percent off of the price of your furniture if you buy a sofa and tv at the same time. If you are interested in new furniture, The Sofa Store is the place to go.

After going from store to store, looking at sofas/loveseats/chairs, we ended up at The Sofa Store. I saw on the window it stated something on a sign with the gist of: We make it easy for you by not haggling. The price on the ticket is the final price. That made me a bit worried for the pricing of the furniture, but we walked in anyway. As soon as we walked into the store, one of the salesmen (George Koumanis) approached us, showed us around the store, explained how things are marked, asked us what we were looking for, and showed us just that. We were never pushed, pressured, or b.sd throughout the sale. I reviewed our experience as 4 stars, simply because the prices were a bit higher than I would really like to pay. Either way, we were able to find something perfect for us at the right price, and we felt happy with the entire experience. We received free delivery with the purchase because it was on clearance, which they also worked with us to schedule. I would recommend this store to friends and would shop here again, myself!

We are soooooo disappointed by the manager and the staff giving us no answer only playing the blame game. Will never ever shop there again!!!!

Horrible experience. This was my 1st and last time ever going to The Sofa Store. We went in looking for a specific chair and they said the only way we can try it was if we bought it (at a cost of over two thousand dollars). The sales associates were to busy sitting and talking, not interested in assisting.
