Where to start.......Like many others our family decided to leave the city and move to the burbs in search of more space for our family mid way through the pandemic. We purchased a 92 year old house in River Forest (as is) in Jan 2021 with big plans to renovate and make it our own. We watch HGTV occasionally so felt up to the challenge. Our first project was the kitchen. We had a healthy 6 figure + budget and goals of knocking this out in 3 months prior to moving it but quickly realized we embarked on this at possibly the worst possible time in human history as the companies we engaged with were slammed, facing us with either insane lead times (9+ months) or a massive price tag (like maybe it would be better to tear the house down and start over high). Gail @ Drury was one of the last we met with and we liked her from the start. She has a ton of experience in the business and is really an honest & authentic person with impeccable follow up and professionalism. Very easy to work with. She really listened to our feedback in the design process on what we wanted while considering our budget throughout and delivered a design of a modern kitchen with everything we were looking for in a very challenging lay-out (92 year old house). The contract process was straight forward, a timeline was built and we were introduced to Israel and his team from their in house crew to start construction. They assured me on their ability to deliver on time and on budget, but Id seen those HGTV shows/heard stories and know there is always a gotcha so I had my guard up. Turns out I was wrong again as that gotcha never came. The one hiccup we had was a delay on the range, which wasnt even an issue because they snagged us another one to use while we were waiting. Israel is a modern day MacGyver and not only did him and his crew impeccably knock out this job on time and on budget, but he fixed or pointed out like 17 other old house things which he helped me take care of along the way. It was easy. Everyone at the org is good at their role and they delivered us a stunner kitchen, on time, and on budget in a super challenging environment. 10/10 from the Schafers. Cant wait until we save enough to work with them on phase 2!

We couldnt be happier with our decision to use Drury Design for our kitchen/great room renovation. From our initial consultation with our designer Janice through the renovation process to the amazing finished product, the Drury team was responsive, professional, detail oriented and creative. They really listened to our goals for the space and presented options that both stayed within our budget and gave us the look and functionality we were hoping for. We hired Drury to gut and remodel two bathrooms in our home. Gail and her team are talented in every way youd want them to be - beautiful design, creative problem solving, tight project management, very skilled (and clean) subcontractors, all managed to a tight schedule. If youre apprehensive about finding the right company to do a kitchen or bath remodeling, look no further than Drury Design if you want a five-star experience. We were immediately impressed by their expansive showroom where you can walk through many styles of kitchens, with cabinet, countertop, hardware, tile and flooring possibilities all on display. Our remodeling project went smoothly from start to finish. We looked elsewhere initially but our designer had the highest level of design credentials possible and it showed from the initial information collecting session that we had in our home with her, through the design stage, and then with her ongoing focus and supervision throughout project. The work crews brought in were all top-notch, communication was excellent with everyone, and any concerns or questions were addressed immediately to our satisfaction. We couldnt be happier that we not only stayed on budget but that we also have two beautiful and functional new spaces to enjoy. The heart of our home is now the pride and joy of our home. Love, love, love all that Drury Design accomplished for us! We absolutely would use them again and recommend them to anyone.

From beginning to end it was as seamless and effortless a process as I could have imagined. I had interviewed a half-dozen contractors and designers, but Alicia Sosa delivered by far and away the best “imagineering” I could have expected. I had a certain idea of what I wanted, having researched it for almost a year, and with that Alicia and her team of architects embraced and substantially improved upon my initial ideas: Ultimately we were able to remarkably improve the look and the very feng shui of my kitchen and adjacent fireplace and living room as well. Throughout, Alicia gently nudged me in the right direction, keeping to and yet improving upon my goals. The budgeting was straightforward and there were no surprises.Rick, Israel and the other team members did painstaking and beautiful technical work, responding to practically my every whimsy. Every night the workspace was cleaned meticulously. Everyone was friendly and professional. I miss you all!Drury Designs came highly recommended and I must say with candor substantially exceeded my expectations. This becomes more and more evident as I “wear into” my kitchen as the weeks go by.

Drury Design hit a home run! The most important thing that they did was listen to what our wants and needs were and from there designed exactly what we were looking for. Diana Burton and her team worked with us over a period of time to take our house that was built in the early 80s and transform to what looks like a brand new house. The construction team headed up by Tom Habowski was patient enough to answer questions during the construction and delivered. At the end of everyday, Tom and his team made sure that the house was picked up and cleaner than when they started. Great Job by everyone.

We hired Drury Design to remodel our kitchen and we had a fantastic and truly fun experience. Our designer, Janice, really listened, understood our style preferences, offered excellent suggestions, was respectful of our budget and patiently guided us through the whole process. Every vendor and contractor was a pleasure to work with and held the same high standards for quality and customer service. The work progressed exactly on schedule and was completed on time. We are extremely pleased with our lovely new kitchen and have enjoyed sharing it with friends and family. We would love to work with Drury on future projects for our home.

Drury did a complete remodel of our master and hall bathrooms. The consultation/planning process was thoroughly completed and they provided different options and price points to consider. The quality of workmanship was exceptional and the attention to detail was superb! The total project was completed on time and exactly on budget.

I loved working with Gail on my kitchen project. The cabinet selection and finishes were great. Drury did a great job laying out the cabinetry design in the kitchen and butlers pantry, and were great about sourcing hardware thru a company I had selected.
