Worst customer service Ive ever experienced. I went for a basic eye exam and I guess when they realized I only needed readers they started to rush me out of the store. They tried sell me a $700 pair of readers and when I said no all the sudden they were closing and said I could reschedule to come back and pick some out. Im not the one that gave me an appointment time, just ridiculous, never going back, very unprofessional!

I have been going to Rosin for a few years now and have never been disappointed, but the staff today was fantastic. They were so welcoming and cheerful AND funny. They interacted with the staff (safely of course with COVID) and were incredible.I dealt directly with CHRISTIAN who was very helpful in completing my contact order and was just a blast to talk with.No one tried to sell me on stuff I did not want or was deciding on.Another great experience. You guys are amazing!

The staff here is very rude and simply don’t care. The only good experience was with Dr. Beasley a couple of years ago. Several times I have ordered glasses/ contact lenses for myself or my family and there is always an issue. I will never go back here again! They do not value their customers!

The staff over there at Rosin Eyecare in Glen Ellyn was very nice. Special thank you to Christian for his assistance he was very nice & helpful from the moment I enter the door. I will be looking forward to doing business with the Rosin eyecare team again.

Nowhere does it say they are appointment only. A woman poked her head out the door and asked what I wanted, was abrupt and unhelpful. A year into the pandemic you would think they valued their business enough to practice kindness and sincerity. Wont be a customer.

No one picks up the phone when u need to make a appointment. And yet they tell u to make it in the morning and never answer.

Spacious setting and courteous staff. The optometrist took his time to do a thorough eye exam. My prescription had changed very slightly and upon asking the doctor if it would be ok to continue to wear my current eyeglasses he said yes. The sales staff did show me my options in terms of buying a new pair of eyeglasses, but there was no pressure whatsoever to buy. Eventually I left with just a copy of my prescription for my record, without buying a new pair, since I can see quite well with my existing pair. I would definitely recommend this eye-care facility.

People were all great, from being greeted when you arrive, to meeting the smiling Dr., and then picking out my new glasses. They treat you like family. I’ve been a patient for over 20 years, and would not go anywhere else for my glasses.

This was my first visit to this Rosin Location. The Dr. was very pleasant. He answered my questions clearly and the exam appeared to bw though. I did not feel rushed. He suugested the better option for hard contact lenses vs. Disposable ones. The office staff was pleasant and accommodating.

Much of what goes on here is the business of providing quality eye care. The rest of the time is a friendly atmosphere where you feel like you are among friends. It is quite an enjoyable experience. I always look forward to stopping in for help and they go above and beyond to answer questions and get you what you are looking for.

In my life I have visited some optical centers and this is the best so far. Professional service and good glasses. This is a place to go!

Everyone at Rosin Eye care in Glen Ellyn were a pleasure to work with, working through different choices for frames, lenses and insurance payments. My glasses have worked out very nicely. I would recommend Rosin to anyone in need of optometrist services.

I have always had a great experience here. I have been going here since Middle School. The Dr. knows his stuff and he has wonderful suggestions on how to keep my eyes as healthy as they can be. He takes the time to discuss options with me and to tell me exactly what is going on with my sight and my eye health. All the other staff as well is eager to help you find the right glasses, contacts, and at the best prices!

I usually go to the location at Rush Medical Center, but went here for the first time as we just moved to the area. They seemed more like sales people than anything, and the prices were way high. They would not fully break down the cost of my lenses explaining why they were so expensive, and refused to give me the PD measurement without $25. I will not go back, and will only go to the girls at the Rush location from here on. They are wonderful. 5 stars for them, 2 for Glen Ellyn.

Ive never written a review before but I have to warn others about this company. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.The company LIED to a contact lens retailer that my prescription was expired when it was not. When I did my research, it states:Prescribers must: give a copy of the contact lens prescription to the patient at the end of the contact lens fitting – even if the patient doesn’t ask for it.provide or verify the contact lens prescription to anyone who is designated to act on behalf of the patient, including contact lens sellers.They did neither and lied to them. You, as a customer, have a right to shop around to buy glasses and contact lenses from wherever you want. Dont do business with a company that lies and tries to bully their customers into going back for more exams. The exam itself was nothing to write home about and I specifically remember the retailers being very forceful when asking me to buy contacts from them initially.On top of this, they hack on other things for your exam ($85 for an eye exam and $150 for contact lens exam). When i asked about the contact lens exam, they told me it was the part where they had be try on contacts.... when all i did was put on a new pair of TRIAL lenses that I have always used.The staff is rude, the manager happens to never be around or call back, and they intimidate their customers to buy their products. Go somewhere else.

Everyone in the office was very nice & helpful. They left me alone to look, (which I like!) but were always available if I had questions. The doctor took the time to make sure all my questions were answered & explained tests as we went along. I would definitely recommend Rosin Eyecare.

Ive seen my family eye doctor for the last 29 years. When we moved to IL, I never established an eye doctor until now. So happy to have found this office. Dr. Torson was very knowledgable and took the time to answer all my questions. The team was so friendly and Evy was awesome explaining my benefits and handling my contact order. Thanks so much!

My husband and I have been a Rosin Eyecare customer for 2 years now. The team is extremely superior across the board and compares to no other Eyecare home that I have joined in the past. From the already warm laughs, to the friendly smiles, and the always right melodic patterns falling behind all of the positive vibes, you really just assume a familiar comfort. Theyre always very informative, readily available, and very knowledgable about every aspect of Eyecare you may conjure. The exams are quick, easy, and very reliable, as each step is cautiously tested and repeated to ensure consistency and more importantly, that a certain level of comfort or otherwise is expressed. I am very pleased and cant wait to do business with this great facility again!

Dr. Richard Torson is the best! I have been going to him for the past 20 years. I wouldnt trust my eyes to any other optometrist in the city of Chicago and have recommended him to several of my friends over the years. Never a bad experience was had at Rosin Glen Ellyn!

Been going here 3 years. Always friendly and knowledgeable staff. The doctor is a pretty cool guy too. Prices are fair. They stand by their glasses and contacts with their guarantees. If you accidentally rip a contact or two, theyll replace it so your counts dont get uneven. I highly recommended taking your business here.

You couldnt ask for a better place for your eyecare. Dr. Torson is kind and professional and makes you feel comfortable. All the staff out front are helpful and friendly. Kathy saved the day by repairing an old pair of sunglasses!! Sylvia was patient and sincere in helping me pick out a new pair of glasses, and she has a skill for picking out frames youll fall in love with.

I had a horrible experience at the Glen Ellyn office today. I made a 5:40 appointment online. They emailed me stating that they needed my insurance & my voicemail would not let them leave a message. They then emailed me again saying they found my insurance & didnt need anything further. Great. Today I walked into their office 4 minutes late. They told me I had to reschedule because they didnt have time for me. The doctor was way behind her schedule and I needed to come another day. I said i didnt mind waiting. My husband left work early so I could make this apt with out kids. Soon after an older lady came up to me saying I was not going to be seen & I should have came 10 min early like she told me on the message. First of all, a phone call would have been nice. Second, her email stated herself that there was NO message left & not one email stated to come early. (If the doctor was behind, coming early would not have made a difference anyway?) She then had the nerve to tell me that because I previously have worked at a Rosin, I should have known this. ...When I worked at Rosin a few years ago, we did not tell people to come in early nor did we treat patients like an inconvenience. I was ready to drop a grand on glasses that I need. After this experience, I will take it else where. To say the doctor running behind her schedule is my fault is ridiculous. Before I left, a girl sitting next to me said they did the same thing to her. Not sure what changed after I left a while back, but patients are now treated poorly here. All of the staff, including the doctor, seemed overwhelmed and rude. Such a pitty. 2 stars because they have cute frames. Too bad me and my family will buy them somewhere else though.

This isnt a very professional office. When making my appointment I told them I didnt want an exam for a contact. When I went to pay by bill I found out that I did have the contact fitting and they wanted to charge me for it. Also, their glasses are so expensive. Youre much better off ordering from Costco/Target or something online like Warby Parking. Even out of network for me was much less than I would have spent if I purchased glasses from Rosin.

I want to take a moment and say thank you to Dr. Torson, Kathy, Evy and the rest of the team at this location. There was some miscommunication about my brother Steves follow up appt. today but Dr. Torson and Rosin team went over and beyond to take care of us. If anyone is looking for a eyecare team Rosin in my opinion is the best in the area. My family has been getting glasses here for over 20 years. Thank you all again ..

This place is less then average. The Dr was fantastic, but sadly the staff was not. Rude is understatement. Unprofessional would be the kindest way to sum it up. They never answer the phone. Told me my glasses would be ready in 7-10 business days, they were not. Then I asked to have them shipped to my home and they sent to Northbrook office. I called and after the 7th call they picked up. I asked for manager and was put on hold, so the lady thought. I was not though. Heard every thing she said about me none which was pleasant. Still 2 days later no call back from the manager. There are 5 other VSP providers down Roosevelt Rd. I would suggest them vs Rosin.

Awful, rude optometrist, who acted like he was doing us a favor for doing his job. This is too bad, because we were patients at Rosin in Chicago, and I truly wish that we can continue to stay with Rosin. This will not be the case.
