DO NOT USE! No Customer Service! They Never answer the phone, NEVER! They charge vast, VAST, sums of money to forward your mail if you move to new address. DO NOT OPEN A BOX HERE! Stck with USPS.
The man who is I presume the owner, is terribly rude. I had the exact mailing address for my son at college (provided by the college) so that packages go directly the dorm. He stated since it wasnt in his computer the address didnt exist. Furthermore, he said they dont even deliver to Lexington, KY. What?? I left and used another UPS store in another state (on way to vacation) and viola, the address worked. Use this store only in dire emergencies.
Extremely rude man running this place. Not sure how UPS continues to allow it. Almost went to FedEx until I found the Downers Grove store...they know what Customer-Centric means there.
This is the second time Ive gone to the store and there is a sign on the register Employee on Lunch Break. This store used to have 2-3 people working at the same time, now there seems to only be one—and he doesnt seem thrilled to be there, or to help you. This time, the employee popped his head out of the break room saying, Im sorry I cant help you right now. Im on my lunch break. It was 11:10am.Seriously?! If youre the only employee in the store then its your responsibility to help the customer at hand—regardless if this is your break time or not. Hire another employee if you need to.I stood my ground, waited patiently, and asked when his lunch break was over so he could help me. He didnt answer, but ended up helping me unenthusiastically and did not offer any sort of thank you for your business. With behavior like this, they will soon be out of business. Time for everyone to take their UPS business a few stores down at Staples.
This is the worst UPS Ive ever been to. Employees unhelpful and unfriendly. Do yourself a favor and go a bit out of your way to the Wheaton Danada location... They are friendly and awesome!
I tried to return Xfinity internet equipment through this UPS store and was charged for this “free” option. I was told this was the policy of the manager and I could call UPS customer service.
Ive used this location close to a dozen times and never will again. Its either the owner or the manager or hes both that is always working in there is extremely rude every time Ive been in there. On top of that I shipped an item that cost well over $1,000 and that was marked fragile and over a dozen different spots and watched him drop it onto a countertop. Today instead of boxing up my Amazon return like the shipping label said the UPS store would do he literally stuck the label on the plastic bag I brought my item back with and didnt even box it. Do not give this guy any business. he is rude and has no customer service and does not care about your package at all. I give zero Stars if it was an option and Id tell that guy to go f-himself
Horrible horrible customer service. Never going here again. I didn’t know mailing a package could be so difficult until I went here
Lost my laptop then claim i never dropped it off (even with a receipt). corp isnt helping and they dont answer their phone and the owner will lock the door on you if you show up with a query.
Ive used this store several times for both personal a business needs. Found them always very cuteous and helpful. Do my Amazon returns through them - takes 2 seconds, no questions asked. Today they even let me in as they were locking up just to get my package out. Finding other reviews very surprising and not reflective of anything Ive ever even seen there.
$29.46 to ship a 4.16 pound item in a standard size box from Illinois to California via ground. I realize the store doesnt set the prices, but when asking why it costs so much the gentleman working here gave me no explanation. He seemed polite, but after asking him to repeat everything twice (including the cost) because he was so difficult to understand, I am unhappy with my experience here.
We have had problems for the second and last time. Last year, a package was missing, and this store was unwilling to help with tracking, as they are a franchise, and not UPS. Today, I made an online appt. for a notary service. I recd a confirmation email. When we got there, we were told there IS no notary there. What a waste of time! We will NEVER use this location again!
Had a couple packages that were delivered here the customer service was on point they were very kind and helped me right out!
Arun is very friendly man who values his frequent customers, he will go out his way for you and goes above and beyond all of time. The people complaining should go to a corporate location as this is a family owned friendly place. If you come with a good attitude they will move heaven & earth for you. If you come with a @#$% attitude then expect them to go by the book.
Lazy woman and absolutely no help... and lazy driver !!! worst service
I have used this store a couple of times. My shipments got where they needed to be but the man who helped me every time has been so unfriendly. It is as if Im bothering him when I go in. Its convenient because Im close but Ill definitely be using another shipping store in the future.
This is the worst UPS store ever, they have a contract with DHL to accept the packages of DHL as drop off, I went there today for a drop off all the labels printed but they refused to accept since I did not initiate the shipping from them, I called DHL and they said they had multiple issues from the same store in the past and will look into it .....Additionally the attitude of the owner is bad no respect for customers
The guy behind the counter was extremely rude. I had to carry in three 65lb boxes and he waited until I brought all 3 boxes in to tell me the amazon seller sent me the wrong return label. I asked him to try and scan the labels anyways and he said no and walked away. Terrible customer service.
Website says they close at 7. Got there at 6:50 to mail a package and was told he couldnt do it because the store was closing soon and it would take too long. He had the door locked and lights off by 6:55.
Used to pack and ship. The store has a Pack and Ship guarantee. The manager packed and when it was all scratched when it got to the location, the manager said he wasnt aware that metal scratched metal, and I knew the material. Shouldnt a packing person know this? Push responsibility on your customers when you have a guarantee. Really? I wish I would have checked how poorly this store was run.
Its small, dirty, and super slow attention!
It’s really hit or miss. The owner is a not kind man, and I don’t ever have good experiences with him. I’ve started going to Staples in the same shopping center and using the UPS services that they have inside.
Dropped off 8 packages. Only 6/8 were picked up by UPS. Asked if store had surveillance cameras and owner said “no”. That’s all I will say.
Always helpful and very nice!
Not open on time. 3 customers have come and gone trying to drop off packages. And then to top it off very disgruntled man behind the desk.
The gall of this guy.... I had to drop off a shipment that was already paid for going via DHL (The Store was listed as a place that took DHL packages by DHL & UPS). The associate there told me I will get charged if I do this, so you must call them to pick it up. I spent 20 minutes explaining/complaining how the logic of his answer was stupid..... only for him to tell me to call DHL to pick it up. I then had to spend another $50 on top of $1500 to get this shipped....So yeah. Dont go here for DHL.... Or strongarm this guy to take it
My hat is way off to these guys for personal service. I had a musical instrument I half paid for on Craigslist. The other half would be paid after verification of the serial number and the guitar itself from the pics I sent Patel and Jace at the store. I also asked to verify the condition of the guitar and see if it matched the description the owner described and showed in the photos. I made arrangements with the Patel the manager of the UPS store and the owner to meet at the store with the guitar to be sent. The verification was made by Jace the assistant manger who had some experience with musical instruments. I instantly paid the rest of the balance by PayPal and the deal was done. Jace packed the rare Strat in bubble wrap and the best shipping guitar box anywhere. Patel and Jace made this deal happen. The original owner was reluctant to sell it in fear of being ripped off but when I introduced my plan and told him the guys at UPS would help him feel this was real and he would be paid in full before UPS would agreed to send it out. And that they did, Call it the perfect middle man if you will but this UPS store is Aces and the people who work there are excellent.
Website says they do notary public services. We drove all the way there and the employee says they are not certified to do notary services... IF YOU CANNOT PROVIDE NOTARY SERVICES - REMOVE THE OFFER FROM YOUR WEBSITE !
Charged me for a box because I wanted to send it back. It is run by Middle Eastern Person.
No Notary on staff.
Horible service. Young man was on the phone on a personal phone call and made me wait 5 minutes.
It says your open on Sundays but your not. Hours says your closed on Sundays but wed site and your door sign says other wise. Please change this.
Update your hours online. They contradict what you door says.
No one else in the store. Waiting with my preprinted labels. Asked the one guy working for help twice and he just typing on his computer. Kept saying one minute. Trying to drop this off as Im running to work.
Incredibly rude, terrible service.
The man who is supposed to help in this store is rude.
Really quite unhelpful with an Amazon Return.
They wont ship amazon returns.... What kind of UPS store is it?
Owner of UPS store on Roosevelt in Glen Ellyn made shipping returned Amazon product a horrible experience. Very unhelpful. I will never return.
The store was supposed to open at 8 and I arrived at 8:30 and it was still not open. Huge inconvenience. Will not use this store again
Rude and unhelpful
Worst Customer Service
