I did a tour with my daughter and her daughter. It was very informative thus very good. Young lady who gave the tour was excellent. Workers there were also friendly. So many selections of chocolate candies of all kinds. Chocolate candy with nuts and caramel and the kettle corn is all Ive tasted so far and both are delicious! Ill be back to stock up on lots of delicious treats to fly back to SC with me. Yummy Good!

Very friendly staff. Chocolate is very yummy. Chocolates that look like ornaments, Santa, trees, stars, toy soldiers and more. Great for stocking staffers and gift baskets. Gifts can be sent out of state too. Good all year round.

My grandson and i go there all the time. They always have new stuff. Their orange filled white chocolate is delish. I get custom baskets made every year for Valentines Day!!

Have been wanting to go here for quite a while. It was worth the trek across town. The tour was more of a lecture, but interesting. Enough variety of candy to satisfy anyones craving - including sugar free choices.

My girlfriend and I were there today not too busy but they had tours going on with little kids which was such a delight to see they were having such fun! My girlfriend and I were just walking through wanting everything in sight 😂😆. Candy is so 😋. Was hoping that they had chocolate covered strawberries but they were out but they did have caramel apples and they are big so did get some of those plus a whole bunch of chocolate. Cant wait to pig out.

Fabulous and delectable array of fine chocolates and confections. Freshly made. They even have a moose munch version of popcorn!! Its a favorite place to take our out of town guests.

Picked up some of their chocolate from Safeway and boy was it some good quality chocolate. Id highly recommend if youre not into typical store-bough chocolates!

Best experience at a chocolate factory! This location is in Glendale AZ you can see how the candy is made. There are alot of various candies not just chocolate to choose from. There is also souvenirs to purchase.

Took the wife and my 9 & 11 y/o sons for a tour during a visit to Phoenix. Enjoyed the tour, which is pretty brief (its a small company). The age of the machinery is pretty impressive and the candy is REALLY good. They have a cactus taffy that is our family fave and I like their dark chocolate almond bark. Darkest chocolate they use is 65% and I typically prefer 85% but the flavor is very good.Its an interesting behind the scene look and we got to see several candies being made while we were there.

If a person doesnt have self control its very easy to spend lots of money in here. It smells amazing in here. A very nice variety of candy and sweets to choose from. A tad pricey but its all made by hand so I dont mind. Ask for samples! Yum!

Pretty disappointed... Went with granddaughters to buy and decorate bears. Most of the decorations were old and stale. As you can see out of the 5 different decorations we could only use the sprinkles and jelly beans.

Tour was a bit different this time due to Covid. Still a nice time. Our group enjoyed doing our personalized chocolate creations.

I love this place. Chocolate is a bit pricey but their candy is amazing. A lot of unique flavors for the chocolate lovers out there. My wife and I always enjoy our visits here. The place is always clean, well stocked and very clean.

Poor policy. Saw this store advertised on TV. Very specific promotion of 25% of purchase with 50% off make your own pizza kit. (Chocolate Day) After purchase I asked where was the discount?. Was told you have to ask first or no discount. They were willing to offer more candy, but I had all I needed. Refund was not available. I had to persist and they did finally give me the 25% off but made to feel very uncomfortable. A long time resident doubtful I will be back.

If you love chocolate, this is the place to be. Only problem is, there is so many too choose from, you leave with one each of everything because its that good.

My father used to take me all the time to Cerretas when I was a little girl. Its always been some of my favorite memories. Now I get to re-create those memories with my daughter! Today was her first time and she was over the moon amazed by the factory.

Stopped in during the Chocolate Festival. Fun Chocolate factory with tasty chocolate covered cherries. Staff were all super nice and friendly despite being totally packed inside.

It was pretty neat seeing one of the oldest chocolate factories in the valley. We took the children there for a field trip and as soon as we walked through the door we could smell the mint chocolate in the air. The mint chocolate candy is one of their most popular sellers, if have a sweet tooth this is definitely the place to to be.

Great store and great variety of candy. Staff very helpful, friendly and courteous! You can sample candy, which my husband loved. Theyll have something youre not even looking for (chocolate covered jalapeños). Enjoy!

This is a family owned Chocolate factory. So many kinds of chocolates made from scratch along with homemade taffy. Took the tour..which is free and you can pay extra for a tasting tour or make a chocolate pizza. Got to sample all kinds of chocolates. Very friendly staff. Well worth the visit. I would do it again!

As a long time patron of Cerretas (over 20 years), Ive always enjoyed the Quality of their Merchandise which does rate a 5 Star, but lately they have elected to allow TacoTaco Food Truck to conduct business in their Parking Lot which in itself I have No Issue. The Issue I do have is that they allow TacoTaco to park crossways on at least 3 Handicap Spaces. Repeated Requests to have TacoTaco relocate their parking to free-up these spaces has gone ignored by TacoTaco AND Cerretas. Therefore Ive elected to discourage patronizing TacoTaco all together and only Patronize Cerretas when TacoTaco is not there.

For $2.50, you can take a tour of the family-owned company and watch as the employees string taffy, make chocolate and everything CANDY!! Anyone participating in the tour gets a cute paper hat, a lanyard, 3 candy samples, and you get $2.50 off of any purchase in the candy store. For any families looking to do a fun air-conditioned activity in the heat of the AZ summer, Cerreta Candy Co. is the place to go! Just dont expect to make a day of this event. The tour is super quick - we walked through the kitchen for a total of 13 minutes. There are candy activities you can purchase and complete there and of course, you can peruse their large candy selection. They do sell super cute Arizona-themed chocolate bars (Grand Canyon paper-wrapped chocolate, chocolate-covered jalapeno peppers, etc). Overall, this is a fantastic place to take the whole family, especially out-of-town relatives.

Have visited Cerrettas for many years. The last few years were busy with other things and did not visit. Finally visited again this May and the sense is deja vu was pervasive. Seeing the same machinery, bins full of dozens of candy varieties, everything sparkly clean, and smiling service brought back good memories. Even better, the quality of the candy has not changed. My favorite walnut caramels taste exactly as I remembered. Bought some of those and a couple of bags of their new flavors. Wont let so much time go buy before visiting again!

Cerreta is THE chocolatier of Arizona, with their signature French Mints, and specialty taffy flavors including Saguaro Blossom, Prickly Pear, and Jumping Cholla. You can see them making chocolates and other candies which is a treat in itself. This factory store has plenty of traditional favorites complementing their Southwest exotic flavors.

Ceretta Candy Factory was very nice to visit. The candy is absolutely delicious and we saw them making chocolate covered pretzels.. Yummy!!!

I havent been to Cerreta Candy Company for a few years. I will never forget the awesome aromas and the way the store and Factory looked. Needless to say, I spent a lot more money than I thought I was going to. I dont get to Phoenix much these days, but I will make a point of stopping in to Cerreta to get some of those very tasty Chocolate Mint candies! Thank you Cerreta Candy Company!!

Its local made mostly chocolate candies that is absolutely fantastic. The French Mint are really their best. They offer free tours Monday thru Friday at 1000 and 100 pm and they are really fun.

We arrived at 1 pm for our tour and we had an amazing time. 🤤🍫PROS: Got to taste a ton of chocolate and learn how a family run factory operates including seasonal shipping, sustainable sourcing, operations, transportation, and more. Also, no reservation was needed, tours are only $2.50 and run at 10am and 1pm every day. Just show up!CONS: You dont actually get to see candy being made. You can see the machines and see workers in the distance, but you dont get to see the actual process. Or maybe we came on a slow day?TIP: For an extra $12.50 we added on the extra chocolate making activity for our 8 year after the tour and he enjoyed it.

Came on a tour of the factory today & my kids made a chocolate pizza. I am very impressed with how friendly ALL the staff was! In addition to, the sweets are AMAZING! You now have a lifelong customer!

The staff was not friendly and even rude at times. The Chocolates are average, overpriced, and the peanut butter fudge was gross. I would not recommend spending your money here.

Cerretas is a family favorite and gifts from there are always hits. I stopped in, hoping theyd be open to pick my own assortment for a gift. I was not disappointed and the store area was not busy. I had no trouble making my choices and was assisted by a very friendly sales associate. I recommend this candy factory (where you can watch the process) for the freshest chocolate products anywhere, and friendly associates plus reasonable prices.

They have a huge variety of taffy and chocolates but we chose the white Pretzels. They are ok but not what I expected for being made right at the factory. They do offer tours during the day of the factory and covid masks are a must!

There was no greetings or anything from the employees as we entered. We looked around but was not acknowledged or asked if we needed help as they were talking among themselves since we walked in. So we ended up leaving.

This was really fun looking at all the equipment and trying the candy. Sadly We missed the tour but the staff was really friendly and let us look around

Great place! They have tours at 10am and 1pm which are free. You can decorate at chocolate bear for $5 or a chocolate pizza for $10. The tour is about 30 min and they have some cool machines for 1929 that they still use. Great way to spend and afternoon with kiddos or family.

Local hand made candy. Great stuff. I get it for my wife on holidays anniversary etc. Go inside and you can see it being made. Just watching is a treat for young and old alike. I think they have shipping service too.

This place was awesome! The candy is delicious and the staff is really helpful. They also have frozen gel packs available to keep the chocolate you just bought from melting, so thoughtful. Will definitely come back!

Its a local treasure! We went to buy some stuff for a care package for some out-of-town friends. I cant have sugar and I was really happy to find they even have sugar-free candy.

The tour was fun. I chaperoned my nieces preschool class. I just thought there would of been more to it. The young lady was amazing. She did her best to talk loud enough. Over all not that bad. Side note I LOVED THE TAFFY

When you think of a chocolate factory tour you imagine seeing chocolate being made right? Needless to say no chocolate was being made, instead you saw machines being cleaned and a lady talking. My littles were so bored.. The activities are fun but overpriced.

I grew up in the projects of Glendale, which was within walking distance of Cerretas. This local family-owned pillar of the community is a beautiful example of how owners should run their businesses. They pay their workers a living wage; they painstakingly and meticulously offer products that, from package to ingredients, delight customers. The experience of entering a real-life Wonka factory stays with me to this day. As a child, I was lucky enough to win their golden ticket. I had a years worth of Cerretas candy and tried everything they had to offer. Thank you for being serving the community since 1921.

Candy is delicious. The tour was a waste of time and we were charged 5.00 for it. It lasted 15 minutes and we were not even taken by the assembly area to see how the candy was made.

Cerretas is our hometown chocolate factory!!! Both of my married children had their chocolate bars as wedding favors at their weddings back in Oklahoma!!! Weve got one more wedding coming up, guess we need to start thinking about ordering some more chocolate!!! ❤❤❤

I have passed by the Cerreta Candy factory so many times on my way to somewhere - usually a ball game. On a whim I stopped in today to take a look around. What a delight! The fun and charming atmosphere is immediately uplifting. The merchandising is bright and inviting. The first thing that hits you is the sweet smell of chocolate! Mmmmm, almost as sweet at everyone working there. Charming and friendly staff-even when very busy. So I started looking around, and you can see the manufacturing going on right there just beyond the retail area. In the bins, I found the perfect gift for my clients. Check it our little foil wrapped baseballs, they have footballs too, and all kinds of hand dipped chocolates. I will never simply pass by again. You shouldnt either. Make quick side stop every time you are in old town Glendale. Not to be missed.

Its awesome to have a locally owned, family place like this around all these years. My parents took me here as a kid and now I take my kids. Not impressed with staff, candy, and price.

This was mine and my mothers first time ever in this place. (Dec 4th at 5pm) we walked in and were stared at by the two young women who were working we were not greeted with anything other than a stare we walked around for about five minutes and we were never acknowledged three more costumers had also walked in and were not greeted unfortunately we were so turned off by this first experience we did not buy any candy and we left. The two young women spoke amongst themselves and proceeded to ignore everyone in the building. Better service is needed.

The selection was varied. Had a lot of the old favorites, but also had new flavors to try. Would recommend, 10/10. I got some Taffy that was fresh and tasted amazing. Also got 1lb of chocolate put into a box. Loved all of it.

I came to Arizona to visit my brother for Christmas. We stopped at the candy company to take a look around. Awesome place! I picked out some things for family and met Bobbi at the register. She ended up giving me a bag to pick out some free candy for myself!!! She was great! And the whole place is great! Highly recommend a visit here!!! I will be back next time I’m in town.

I went as a favor to my mom, she loves their mint chocolates. They have so many new things to pick from. The chocolate is always fresh and tasty. They let me have a free sample, I tried a cherry cream filled chocolate and now I want a whole box of them next year for Christmas.
