The food was amazing, we ordered a couple of different plates to sample the food because we enjoy Greek food. We had the Opa Life Combo, Gyro Platter and our daughter had the cheese pizza. Everything we had was very flavorful. The customer service was great even when they were beyond busy they still were on top of helping.We will definitely be going back. Thank you

I’ve been eyeing this place for awhile now and have finally tried it, lol... And I was relieved that I wasn’t disappointed... I had the lamb gyro with Greek fries... I’ve never heard of Greek fries, lol... they’re phenomenal... place was clean and I like the outside patio... food delicious at a reasonable price... the staff were polite, respectful and attentive... I will be a returning customer to try the rest if their menu...

The food was really good and the service amazingly fast during a crazy rush of customers before a Cardinal Football game. Employees are very friendly and went out of their way to keep everybody happy and comfortable. We will definetly return.

We always ate here before Coyote games before covid. So we did the $15 parking and got a voucher for $15 at Opa and other places too. What a deal! Had a Hero plate w double Greek fries.We had forgotten how good Greek fries are and they give u lots of meat. Woo woo!Go Opa Go Coyotes. Didn’t really like the Grecian sunrise drink because it tasted too much like alcohol but when it started to water down it wasn’t bad! Food was very fast and i actually liked it! I would order extra tzatziki sauce though because it didn’t have too much in my pita. Very relaxing place though!

The food was delicious and fresh I had the lamb and rice and mixed vegetables and a salad beets it was all good price just right the atmosphere is very pleasant, And the employees are very helpful my husband also enjoyed his chicken wrap and french fries and a dessert was delicious and fresh. if you are in Arizona you should definitely stop in and they play music in the evenings, you can sit indoors or outdoors.

Very friendly right in the door! They have a menu above the counter or one that you can hold. The chicken pesto pita was delicious! The pita is so soft and amazing. I chose the Greek salad as my side and was thoroughly delighted! A completely enjoyable time!

Great food. Great service. Reasonable prices. My only complaint was the Falafel balls were too hard to eat (overcooked). I felt I was going to break my teeth! Cook your balls softer and the next time I come in, I will give you 5 stars...😉

We went to this restaurant on 8/8/21. We have been there many times before and the food has been good and never had any problems with that. I ordered our food and was told it was $44.99, which I thought to myself seemed a little high for 2 souvlaki plates and 1 fountain drink. I was presented by the cashier with the option to leave a tip on the electronic tip screen where I left a $6 tip and signed. I took a closer look at the receipt when I got back to the table and realized that I was automatically charged a $4.37 gratuity on the bill on top of the $6 that I had left. At NO TIME in the ordering or payment process was I ever told that a gratuity would be automatically added to my bill. If it was written down anywhere it certainly was not visible or pointed out. This is a shady business practice and a customer should always be told that a gratuity will be added to their bill. They should not be presented the opportunity to leave a tip without knowing that up front. Had I known I would be automatically charged a gratuity I would not have left an additional tip. In addition, I will say that the food tasted good, but we couldnt really enjoy it because we spent the entire meal swatting away flies that were in the restaurant. We will never go back to Opa Life Cafe. Ever.

The food and service is always above par. My son works close to Westgate so when we all choose to meet up for lunch we have several places to choose from but we always go to Opa life Greek Cafe we always have a great time

The food is always really good here, and consistent. I love their breakfast menu, coupled with their drink menu. The Moscow Mule being my favorite. Although, they have a good variety of drinks to choose from. Their lunch and dinner are equality good, with comfortable seating. This is a great place to meet up with people, enjoy the drinks, check out a game on their screen tv, or sit out on their patio. They have an ideal location at Westgate, while maintaining excellent customer service.

One of the best experiences we have had in awhile. Food was perfect, came out quickly, love the outdoor seating. So much to choose from. Looking forward to keep coming back as there is no shortage of amazing selections to choose from.

I gotta admit, this food is OUTSTANDING. But the only reason why I’m putting 4/5 is because of the costumer service. Every time I come in I never get greeted and feel really unwelcome and see the employees talk to each other while just I’m standing there for a moment, waiting to take my order. Everything Else is fine.

This place was great! We had the greek salad, marinated chicken skewers, greek fries and of course pita bread and hummus! Best hummus I have ever had! Fantastic. Their chicken was to die for! Greek fries a must try!👍😋 Was a first time 4 me. Highly recommend and will be back next time in Glendale. Great service as well!👍😁

We ordered the Calamari Appetizers. Then the Veggie Appetizer. Then Gyros with salad. Cheesecake for the end..EVERYTHING here has always been fabulous for the years we have been coming. This meal was a birthday well work it. Service staff was great and friendly.Please dont pass up the Balaclava cheesecake.

Great food, excellent service, and delightful ambiance. We had lamb kebabs, Greek fries, and gyro pizza. It was all very well done.I hesitated to order the Greek fries because other places overdo them with garlic and heavy sauce. This place doesn’t. You get a good flavor without regretting it for the next 12 hours.The veggies that come as a side are quite tasty as well. The meat is excellent and the pita bread is fluffy and delicious.

Great way to spend the night with family and friends. The food here is really good - it was my first time eating Greek food and now I’m a huge fan. The chicken souvlaki was perfectly grilled and the lemon Dijon sauce was delicious. They bring it to your table once you order and it comes out pretty quickly. I really enjoyed the outdoor atmosphere - the comfy seats and covered patio were a fun way to enjoy our time. Definitely recommend!!!

They serve one heck of a cup of coffee. The list of coffee drinks is incredible (hot and iced). If you do have a coffee dont forget the pastry.

My wife orders here all the time. We love it. Today we had our sons small gathering outside. The view was great. You could see the huge Christmas tree and listen to the live bands outside. We love the food, service, and ambience. Greek fries are a must and the cheesecake is delicious.

Here at Westgate in Glendale, AZ. OPA Life Greek Cafe is one of my favorite places to eat at. Lots of healthy food and drinks to choose from. Professional staff with super positive attitudes. Clean tables and bathrooms. I enjoy the Wraps as many different selections to choose from that meets one desire.

Lovely experience. We sat on the patio and listened to the music. You order your food in line and then sit down. They bring your order and are very attentive. Great food and hummus was delish!

Service was super slow and the guy wearing the EMT student shirt at the counter said just be a minute about ten times, when I paid for the meals at the counter he showed me the tip options,choose one for the tip slow service and no food yet and you want a tio ahead of time?Iced tea very good, fries were good, rice was good. The rest of the food was OK Gyro had no pizzazz - lacked flavour. A bit pricey too, but affordable and expected; it was a pleasant dining experience.

Food portion and price is great. Not a fan of mixing beef and lamb in the gyro. The mix makes the food have a tacobell beef flavor.

I love Opa Life. We have been to many locations and the one in Westgate is no exception. Food cooked fresh and healthier than many other options when eating out. I like the opa life combo platter and my husband likes the gyro pita. Super fab!!!

The Gryo and Fries tasted as good as it looked. Los of ingredients and flavors in the Gryo and fries were cheesy and also crispy and soft at the same time. High quality and highly recommended. Food presentation was worthy of a commercial.

Food was good, but customer service was the worst customer service I have ever had . And with me working in restaurant industry I know A LOT about it . Rule number one is CUSTOMERS ARE ALWAYS RIGHT . So when you mess up do not get an attitude. Fix it ! Glad corporate gave me a better attitude than the manager on shift .

Food is so good. The falafel has a great flavor. Nice and crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. The Greek fries are a must. Delish!

Stopped by for a quick bite before a movie. So glad we chose this place!! We placed our order and then my honey realized he left his wallet in the car. Even then, the gentleman who took our order had my child and I sit and began to serve us while my honey went to get his wallet.The service here is exceptional! The staff were all youngsters but, let me tell you, these youngsters had the best customer service I’ve experienced in AZ.Our calamari arrived within minutes of sitting, as did my child’s pizza. I got the pesto chicken pita, it was delicious ! I got the side salad which was so flavorful, Greek salads are the best! My honey got the burger which was HUGe and tasty.Thank you for making our night and not making us feel uncomfortable for forgetting our wallet!

I havent tried much of the food here, but I really enjoy their Greek fries. The lemony sauce with parmesan is so good. Much better than ketchup! I have gone here for evening coffee by the fire. Very relaxing. I really wish they used mugs instead of disposable cups. Its better for the environment and would save them in costs. Otherwise, great place!

Very nice indoor/outdoor atmosphere with open air seating. If you are not a fan of birds/flies/outdoor wildlife, be prepared to sit INSIDE. Always the freshest foods and fast service. Prices are also very reasonable for the area. I ordered the Balsamic Salmon Salad and added Shrimp, which was healthy and amazing!

I met a friend for lunch, which is amazing considering quite a few places are closed for seating. I ordered the berry, feta salad with a side of pita bread. My salad had fresh slices of strawberries, warm caramelized walnuts, and a sweet strawberry vingarette. The pita was soft and mild. They offered some fun desserts such as Baklava Cheesecake and traditional ones like tiramasu. I will definitely be back to give dessert a try!

Came for dinner while visiting town. We were pleasantly surprised as we had no idea what we were getting ourselves into. The food is DELICOUS, we tried the beef souvlaki plate with the Greek style fries and Greek salad; and the gyro dinner plate. So good! Their deserts are super delicious as well. We had the chocolate pyramid and our friends had the baklava cheesecake 🤤🤤🤤. Would definitely stop by again on our next visit.

We came across this restaurant while I were looking for cup of coffees . The setting of this restaurant was very clean,and looked very cozy. You can choose to sit inside or outside is up to you. Since we were new at this place, the waiter recommended the popular dish for us. It turned out very delicious,and it ended up that we enjoyed the tastes very much. Services here were great and enjoyable. One thing that was surprised me was that they wrapped the meat, rice and some herbs with grapes leave. It tastes different and unique, because it brought out the flavors from the grape leave and rice.

We decided to grab a nice lunch on a Saturday afternoon. The staff behind the counter were amazing. The food was great, especially the brownie we had for dessert :)The reason for the poor review is that a trio of customers walked out to the patio with their dog who proceeded to sit on the chair and put its head on the table. One of the employees actually went to the table 3 times to wipe it down and for other reasons. He saw the dog and said nothing. This is one of the most unsanitary things I have seen at a restaurant. I was completely disgusted and upset that the employee did nothing. We will not be returning.

Food was good, big variety. Parking is a problem but music was nice. Clean and organized, good desserts.

We were very impressed with this restaurant customer service. There was an error on our pizza order they were taking it back and my husband said no he liked the topping it would be fine. Later another staff member noticed the pizza was not what he remembered my husband ordered. He was off to make another pizza even though we had eaten half the pizza. We thanked him for his generosity but it would not get eaten since we were in a motel and no fridge. The food was delicious and who could ask for a better staff. Thank you OPA

Absolutely fantastic! The atmosphere, the quality of service and most importantly, the food, were all to perfection and exceeded the standards of how high-end restaurants operate. The priced were honest and the food was of excellent quality made as soon as we ordered it.From the moment we entered the establishment we were greeted and given menus and treated as if we were the only guests. As we took our time looking at the menu we were met with patience and had all of our questions answered in detail. All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.Although I am not a local, I am considering moving to the area. If I do end up moving to the area this restaurant would definitely be a place I would visit regularly with family and friends.I look forward to visiting the area again and stopping by for another delicious meal.Thank you for a memorable experience!

So yummy! Im not a fan of lamb, but after sneaking a bite of my wifes lamb souvlaki, I could definitely become one. Delicious! Gyros are great and the portions are large. The Opa burger was amazing. Whatever you get, make sure you have room for the baklava cheesecake! Soooo decadent.

I went for the first time tonight and loved it! Soul Groove band performed great oldies funk and Motown hits! Greek fries and chicken souvlakia was amazingly delicious! Great vibes food and entertainment!

My husband and I dined here today for the first time.This is by far the best Greek food restauramt that we have been to.The Gyro meat was fresh and tender. Their specialty Greek fries are very tasty.I had the Greek salad with gyro meat, delicious. It was tossed in the perfect amount of dressing.The wait staff was very kind and knowledgeable.Very service oriented.The baklava was perfect not to sweet like some others that I have had.We will definitely be back to try more items on the menu.
