Expect wait times of 20+ minutes for their pharmacy. Instead of opening up another lane to assist with long lines, they will make people wait ridiculously long for simple pickups. Combination of being either understaffed or unmoved towards how much time they are taking behind the counter.There have been multiple lunch hours Ive had to leave without picking up my medications because the line moves too slowly.Ive had regular store staff (who are always super helpful) ask them to pick up the pace because the line is out the front door due to COVID spacing out.Only upside is they are open really late. Probably the best time to visit as the their slow pace wont create a line then.Edit: Returned and found 7 people behind the counter and 5 people in line waiting. Only 1 person helping customers. Unacceptable

Horrible pharmacy service, rude people, told there would be a one hour wait for a refill. Told my prescription for Dextran Glucose monitor was not covered by Scan, spoke with Scan who said it was covered. Rite Aid person, rudely, declined to explain discrepancy. Been trading there since I moved to Glendale 2 1/2 years ago, convenient to Vons and my bank branch (I like the ice-cream) but its time to move on to CVS.

I entered to the store at 5 AM to buy some juice for me, both doors was not opening automatically so I decide to open by hand I enter the store get my juice and on the way out one of the workers told me in very aggressive manner that if doors are not opening that means it has some reason but there is no such a sign or anything like that and store open 24 hours! Completely poor customer service specially at night time, it seems like you owe them something just because you want to purchase something around 5 AM. Shame on you guys!!!!!🤬Management do something hire more educated and polite people to work in this store in my city!

Horrible, I spend over 30 minutes waiting in the pharmacy for a prescription I called ahead for. They need more manpower. It’s been like this for years, but tonight was a new level of awful customer service.

Sometimes it depends on whos working because there are employees who greet and ask if need help but others dont really give a puck! I only get those lately the nice ones have gone, BUT!! besides that I can ALWAYS find everything I needed for everything and anything; diapers, pills, cerave, orajel omg everything thank you.

So I thought I Would give the store one more chance so I show up at 4o’clock in the morning this time and they’re closed don’t put on the Internet there a 24 hour store when every time I come up here they are closed. And they tell me to come back in 20 minutes after they get done mopping the little walkway you don’t need to close the store when I’m off the walkway well I guess you can but I’m not coming here I’m going to CVS like I always do

Pharmacist doesnt work okay. They a line that you need to stand and wait for your term, But I think they need to place bed to sleep and wait for their term.Im waiting more than hour to get to pharmacist.Waiting on the line is almost american culture, but if this is for sick people? I dont think so it is good idea.Hopefully someone will read this and work on it.Thanks and good luck!

Been coming to this pharmacy for years. Every two months I get the same medications but they either missing or give me a hard time rarely is it ever filled right even when I text. I been sitting here for almost an hour trying to explain to them and wait for doctor approval., no communication to the doctor prior from pharmacy l they blame me and many times I been without my medication. This is a headache.

Rite Aid store #05537 - Anait AmirkhanyanPharmacy sometimes becomes a busy place and patents wait for their medication in a long line. Knowing that it is not easy to deal with doctors offices and checking prescriptions, i want to say: Thank you for doing good work and thank you for doing it with patience. All employees of the store are friendly. Only, my favorite is Anait Amirkhanyan. She will go above and beyond to help patients. I want her manager to be proud for having a great, kind employee.

They shut down the ice cream for no reason because the manager wants enforce fake rules.Lol

Horrible pharmacist on staff (wont mention her by name). She shouldnt be allowed to directly interact with patients. First and last time Ill be using this rite aid.90% of the 1 star reviews are for the pharmacy. Maybe corporate should step in and do something about it?

I order my meds here but just be prepared for the wait. There’s always a line.

Gil is great ... he always goes above and beyond and when it comes to filling up the tubs of ice cream he doesn’t complain he always has a nice smile and he feels the ice cream tubs all the way to the top like it supposed to be!! Thanks Gil!

My wife tried to get her prescription refill but pharmacist said she had to call her doctor. This was 3 days ago and still have not gotten an answer from pharmacist. So I called this evening and they told me the same thing that they had to call the doctor. But they where suppose to do that 3 days ago. And now they said we have to call the doctor cause they dont have time to do it. What bad service they should just told us this the first time we contacted them and we would of save us this hassle.

Always out of medication.It may be a 24 hour pharmacy but they take 1.5 hour lunch breaks at night instead of the posted 30 minutes, if you live in Glendale...do yourself a favor and go to another pharmacy, any pharmacy but this one.

Went here a week ago after having dinner with the choir after mass.A few of us ended up buying ice cream twice (long story on how that happened), but the first time around when we were served, the ice cream person was not at all happy to see us there and when we had to pay at the register as well.But when we went for seconds, there was a different person serving ice cream and she was very pleasant and gave us a little more for the scoops we got. But some of us got the same ice cream person and cashier from earlier, but she brightened up when she realized we had come back for seconds.Though she did advise us to come get ice cream closer to 10pm and not earlier than that...Dont know why...

I went here for a specific post-surgery item. The pharmacist didnt even know what it was. He kept suggesting I use something else. I kept saying - how do you know if your suggestion is a suitable substitute if you dont know what the original item is? It turns out his suggestion wasnt at all a suitable substitute. I found this out when I went to the nearby Doran Pharmacy. WAY better. Great customer service, they knew what it was, and I got it from them. The cashiers at Rite are nice. The stars are theirs.

I love this pharmacy. They have the best service and the best staff. There customer service is excellent. I would recommend this pharmacy to anyone even if they have to drive a distance to get there medications.

These guys are good. They are open 24 hours, so you can drop off a prescription at any hour of the day or night and if your medicine is in stock theyll have it ready typically in half an hour, more or less. Plus they are knowledgeable and friendly. I made a mistake and tried out Walgreens because of an advertising offer and Walgreens was terrible, just awful. I recommend Rite Aid pharmacy very highly.

This place is ok. Your standard Rite Aid. Well maintained inside. The only thing I dont like is that theres frequently someone standing outside soliciting you for money.

Polite employees. Customer service was given. Not a harsh experience. Like other stores.

I have had many experiences at various pharmacies and this Rite Aid is my favorite. I have tried multiple CVS, Rite Aid, Walgreens, and Target pharmacy locations and I always come back to this particular Rite Aid. I have, of course, had less than satisfactory experiences here and there since I have been coming here on and off for over two years. Compared to the other options, this Rite Aid is unparalleled. They are efficient and knowledgeable and the fact that they are open 24 hours is amazing. They do have busy times, which can make long lines but the staff does their best to accommodate. This location is always clean and well-stocked. Even though I live quite a ways away now I continue to choose this Rite Aid over others.

You better be prepared for a long wait either at the pharmacy pick up or a cashier. Yet the store is pretty new and looks nice inside.

(Addendum dated 11-28-18) - See add on to my last post below - I added on another review but addition is for Rite-Aid staff member Mr. HOVIK 🤗🤗See at the bottom of this post!I just want to thank Mr. HAMLET 💜 for always having a smile 😊on his face and for always going the extra mile for every single one of his customers, while having a positive spirit... never complaining whenever he has to serve ice cream!Not only does he serve us our Rocky Road ice cream with a smile but he also makes sure that is filling it up to the brim (because thats what were paying for) but he remains positive and nice throughtout the process!Yet....some of the other staff tried to cheat you out of a full-quart ... By not filling it up all the way and/or try to talk you into buying a premade quart “because it’s cheaper from the frozen section” but really it’s because they just don’t feel like they should have to serve a full quarts of ice creamthey feel like we should buy a pre-made quart in the back which is full of preservatives !!Anyways Hamlet goes above and beyond the call of duty all the time ... he never complains .... he’s an amazing staff member and team member at Rite Aid and again remains positive ...upbeat ..and is always with a smile on his face and even when he’s tired he always goes the extra mile for example if one of the tubs of ice cream is out he will go to the back and bring a fresh new one ...BUT the majority of the rest of the staff or Will instead say “opps sorry were allll out” they will Not go to the back and get a new one! Laziness is what that is!! But not Hamlet ... u see Hamlet is AMAZING...he will go above and beyond the call of duty and step up and go back there and bring out some new fresh tubs of ice cream and even though he’s not as young as the rest of the guys ...nor as physically fit ....he is definitely the most energetic!!! I will never ever use Rite Aid as my pharmacy EVER again in my whole life.This pharmacy has been personally responsible for wasting about 6 hours of my time in the last two months.Long lines and has never had my prescription ready once when they said they were going to. RIDICULOUS

Freaking horrible. We paid then went on get icecream. The guy serving the icecream was angry like he didnt enjoy his job at all. Served the icecream with a spoon which I dont mind but he was just bumming us out with his attitude .

In 35 years in America, tonight was the first time i was in contact with rude and unfriendly employees in Rite Aid with the exception of a young lady cashier. The young man working with her, behaving like manager, he shouldnt be manager. He disrespected my age and his co-worker in front of everybody. Also the employees at the pharmacy were cold and unfriendly.

This review is mainly for the constant problems I have had with the pharmacy. Do not get me wrong, there are a couple of good people in the pharmacy but most of them have given me horrible experiences. The constant negligence of its patients, the feeling of being an inconvenience to them, and just poor customer service has pushed me to this point. I dont like to leave poor reviews but i feel that i should warn others so that they may not have the same experience. In just these past 2 days I have been hung up on, perscription not been filled even though they said it was, and lied about my doctor not calling in my perscription. They even hung up on my doctor as she was giving it to them! As a diabetic, I have to deal with them constantly and I just cant take the abuse anymore. The last straw was today when I went in with my newly written prescribed pain medication due to a root canal. I waited in the horrendously long line that will be there no matter what time of day you arrive. Reaching the counter, after the 10+ people in line before me, I asked if I could fill my perscription. The cashier took the perscription handed the paper to another pharmacist and said he would take care of me and walked away. After a few minutes of him looking at it he yelled to the cashier, who was no longer even in the pharmacy, that they were out of my medication and continued about his work. I patiently waited about 10 minutes just to see how and when they were going to tell me what this means. Maybe they would have to order it and it would arrive in a few hours? Maybe call another rite Aid and Id have to pick it up there? But no, the cashier finally got back and i recieved my answer. The pharmacist told the cashier that they were out of what was needed and she took the perscription from him, turned to me saying that they were out and I needed to find it somewhere else. I gave a confused look as to if she was going to give me another option on how to proceed but all I was given was a shrug. I was dumbfounded. Yes I will find my medication, and i will find it somewhere that cares about its customers and I will never come back.

The pharmasit was really rude she just said bye i dont have time for this threw my prescripción and left . Has to drive 1 hour to get my medication AT 1:00 am
