Nice place and is clean but I’ve been getting waxed for over 5 years and trust me this place will rip you off big time. They technically are priced at a standard rate but there are a ton of other waxing places that charge less for PERFECT results. Every European wax center I go to when I’m in a pinch leaves me with a TON of ingrown hairs, lots of stray hairs and even some tender skin once which has never happened to me. I got a Brazilian and full leg wax for my honeymoon and both were crazy crazy rushed, left me with pain and with an unacceptable amount of leftover hair 😭.When I go to other salons I am 90-100% hairless for WEEKS but with this place I’m lucky to get 60-70% hairless. Also they always leave a ton of wax residue on your body which is completely unprofessional. I know a few wax residue spots may be hard to remove but I’ll go home and have to pick them off for a good 30 minutes. I wish I could get a refund because I got waxed but i am still hairy 😭 I didn’t have time to get it fixed either because I left for my honeymoon the next morning.

This place is phenomenal! Everyone at the front desk is so kind and accommodating. It is always very clean and don’t even get me started on how amazing Krysta is! She always does such a phenomenal job!

One of the ladies at the front desk was super nice and friendly! I had my first underarm and Brazilian wax here, the service was really quick which was great and Alex who was my wax specialist also gave me great tips during the service which made it go by really quickly. They make you feel very comfortable here and Alex was professional.The pain for me was pretty bad since it was my first time but it goes away in a second and the results are worth it.I will recommend this place

Iliyana is amazing! The wax was virtually painless..honestly. On a 1-10 scale for pain it was a 1. Professionalism and comfort was a 10! Will be back regularly and requesting her every time.

Cancelled my appointment as I pulled up on the parking lot. Location was closed and no one was answering the phone. Shortly after getting back home I received a call and was able to reschedule for that afternoon. This was my first time at this location. Iliyana was friendly, professional, and did a great job.

During this time of Covid it is so important to feel safe. I felt safe walking in the door with the extra Covid precautions that are in place. My wax specialist Alex greeted me with a smile, even though she had her mask on I could tell she was smiling 😃. She was very professional and made me feel comfortable explaining everything from the minute I met her to the end of the wax service. I had a Brazilian wax done and we all know how uncomfortable those can be!! Not with Alex! She is calm, professional, and through. Looking forward to my next Brazilian with her! So glad I found her.

I love the wax they use and how accommodating they are. Everyone Ive had wax my eyebrows have done a great job. Buying the eyebrow package was the best idea as I dont have to think about going anymore. I just show up and they do my waxing. Love it!!

After leaving EWC in Kansas City when my waxest left and after having a ridiculous experience at the EWC in Vernon Hills I was skeptical about how this would turn out. I was pleasantly surprised! The staff is very friendly and efficient and Illianna, sorry if I spelled your name wrong, is amazing at her job!

If you schedule an appointment, they will not honor it. Be prepared for a long wait. They are also very rude and not welcoming. They greet select customers.

Always an easy painless experience going to get a wax especially with Leyla! She is extremely knowledgeable and super friendly - never leave without a smile on my face!

Very disappointed with the turnover rate at this location. The second girl, I became comfortable with is now gone. Now I have to gamble with someone else. I regret buying a wax pass for Brazilian and eyebrows. Very disappointing.

I was 38 weeks pregnant when I went to go get waxed by Tina. I was terrified just because I’m pregnant and super sensitive but Tina was so quick, gentle, and amazing on making me feel comfortable. Tina was truly amazing and such a great experience would recommend 100x!!!

Do NOT go here. Its clean, the girls who did the wax was nice, but I found it strange they stay in the room while you undress. There is no mirror when the ask if you think the shape is good. Got home to realize my Brazilian was a bikini and really only done on one side. Its so lopsided Im pretty mad that I tipped at all let alone my normal 50%. You dont really get a chance to check it out either bc they say in the room with you while you get dressed. Never again. Girl at the front desk was a bit snobby and just left my money there until I asked about an envelope to make sure the girl would get it. Also my triangle is not a triangle at all. Its a strange T almost Y shape. So many blochy spots left.

I first went for my waxing in Skokie. I even signed up for the discount rate. Unfortunately my waxing wasnt very good. I called to ask about coming in for a re-do. I live 30 minutes away. They give you 5 days. Has to get permission from management. I was also sold something for 27.00 that I realized I didnt need. Decided to give it one more try in Glenview. I called and left a message. No callback. I had to follow up. Made an appointment. Went in and left with severe burns. I again called with no reply. Spoke with McKenzie the manager all she offered me was samples for my burn. Nothing more. Please find photo. This is 4 days after. Extremely painful

I went here for my first Brazilian wax and it was not a good job. I had to go back the next day because she didn’t wax certain parts and there was a lot of hair left. When I went back they weren’t really compassionate about my experience they just said we can do a touch for free. I am a licensed cosmetologist and know how it supposed to be done and I didn’t really get to inspect the initial set until I got home hours later. I went back to get the Brazilian finished correctly. I had the same tech do the touch and she still left patches of hair. I know it’s my first time getting a Brazilian wax and there will be some stray hairs left behind but not patches. I can’t believe she even let me leave the first time without explaining why she didn’t remove all the hair. I had higher expectations from a place that only does waxing and from a someone that had good reviews online about her Brazilians waxing skills. Overall I think the tech would be better if she was not rushing ewc is all about speed and I just don’t think you get good results from their techs because they are rushed. Ultimately I waxed the remainder of hair that was left behind on my own and I won’t go to ewc for and other services.

I have been going to the Glenview location for months now and I am happy with my technician Sophia. Shes nice, fast, and professional. I did have a different technician my first time, did not like her service and decided to give Glenview another chance. Im happy I did.

EWX is my new go to place for waxing. I used to shave and i have had just a couple experiences with waxing before. I specifically wanted to leave a review for my esthetician. Iliyana had made this experience so pleasent for me. I just think the enjoys and loves her job. She really cares about her clients. She makes sure I am well taken care of. They use hard wax so its more comfortable and not as hot on the skin. I go there because of her. She not only does a phenomenal job but also is so easy going and makes me feel comfortable. This was my first Wax Experience and I was extremely nervous, not knowing what to expect. I have to say that im very pleased with the service i got. I had gotten my full legs waxed, thinking the wax would be extremely hot and burn, but to my surprise it was not. They use hard wax so the wax wasnt as hot as I thought. I was expecting it to be a lot more painfull than it actually was. My specialist name is Iliyana she was very knowledgeable, reassuring and explained each step of the waxing process to me. Anytime I had a question or concern she would always give me a great explanation. Immediately after she would remove a strip she would apply pressure, which made it way less painful. She kept making sure I was ok through the service and made sure I was happy. I was complete satisfied with my experience and service!!! Would definitely recommend and come back!

I used to work downtown Chicago and I always used to go to the EWC on Ohio, but my job recently transferred me to a Glenview location. I was so excited to find out that this location was going to be opening up soon. Finally went in to get my eyebrows waxed and I love this location. So friendly, smiling staff and I met the manager which was a cute super sweet lady. My esthetician’s name was iliyana she was great! She made sure I got the right shape for my brows... I have fairly thin eye brows as it is so it was very important for me to make sure she didn’t remove more than needed. It was pretty good and then we started talking about eyebrow pencils and powders, I usually opt for the pencil. I asked her to fill in with powder because I was curious. Ended up going home with the brow power 😍
