Renee was wonderful. I just moved from NYC, slightly nervous about finding a new hairstylist. I told her exactly what I envisioned and without any hesitation she knew what needed to be done. It was such a smooth, delightful experience. She was thorough; the cut and blowout was on point I could cry. I’m immensely happy I found a brilliant hairdresser so quickly. I also booked a coloring as I was checking out.

The hair stylists always do a wonderful job at Gordon Salon. I love my haircut!My only issue is I booked via a text message from Gordon’s offering a 15% discount. When I arrived for the appointment there wasn’t a record of the discount. After 10 minutes of discussion with the receptionist looking on the computer, she finally said she was aware of the 15% discount! It would seem that the online booking and price quoted should be recorded with the appointment.

Josie is fantastic, she really listens to your interests and concerns. Also, if you ask for suggestions or ideas, whether on hairstyle or product recommendation, she will be very honest and helpful. I also like bringing my teenage daughter to Josie because she will guide her through making good, fashion-relevant style choices in a considerate and respectful manner.

I would love to say Bree from the Glenview location made my hair dream come true. She is a hair god I believe because my hair never look better since Bree started doing my hair!! By far the best experience I’ve had at a salon! Antonia is an excellent hair stylist/colorist and made me look like a queen! I had been coloring my roots for about a year myself and she was able to match that shade perfectly and add in balayage that made my hair color look the way it did 30 years ago! She cut my hair as well and framed my face perfectly. Loved the whole experience also including how pleasant the staff was and the cleanliness and decor of the salon. I’ve been getting my hair cut by Allison for over a year now and I couldn’t be happier! I’ve had plenty of bad haircuts, but never once with Allison. I always leave happy. The front desk staff are all very nice and communicative which I appreciate. I recently moved to Naperville and still drive to Glenview because I can’t give her up!

I was unhappy with the initial partial low lights.Returned to have the color adjusted at no charge per their policy. My stylist was gracious and very welcoming. She kindly suggested options and it turned out beautifully. She made what could have been very uncomfortable situation very pleasant. I am definitely going back!

Robbin has been my hairstylist and she did a haircut and highlighting. I have found Gordon at Glenview through highly rated google reviews. If there was an option to select more than 5 stars, I would have selected it. I couldn’t be more happy and delighted with my hair after almost a year since pandemic. Robbin is very knowledgeable and expert in her field. She takes care of the little things which count towards whole salon experience. I am very satisfied with the services provided and would highly recommend Robbin and Gordon at glen view.

First time visit. Booked with Robin based on Google and Yelp reviews. Robin was very nice and easy to work with. She knew exactly what I was looking for in a short haircut for fine, thin hair, and she offered suggestions without being pushy. She did a great job, especially given that it was the first time she had worked with my hair. Overall pleasant experience except that I lost an earring during the process. The salon did commit to continuing to search for it as they cleaned up for the day. Have not heard back.

This is a really nice clean salon. Especially during Covid, the salon practices safe distancing and pre-checkin on your phone. They also take your temperature and give you a clean robe to wear upon entry. I felt very comfortable as they only let a few clients in at a time and we were all far distance from one another. They were also sanitizing everything ie;chairs, tables etc... I had a root touchup, pull thru, cut and blow out with Bree. Bree is an excellent hair dresser and does a phenomenal job. Bree is very personable and meticulous on getting requests done right. Bree also offers her opinion if youre not sure. I went with her suggestion for hair color variation and it came out even better than what I imagined. Her cutting skills are spot on too. Considering I hadnt had my hair cut since February, she did an awesome job getting me ready for the holidays! Ask for Bree as you won’t be disappointed! This is my new salon now. Aveda products is the added bonus - need I say more!

Renee is great! She did an amazing job of taming my overgrown Covid-hair, and has given me great follow up cuts. Shes great at listening, figuring out exactly what you want, and making recommendations for what is going to work well with your specific hair type.

I went in to see Bree for a shampoo and voluminous blowout!!! It was very relaxing! She’s very thorough in explaining everything she was doing. Scalp massage was definitely my fave part! I also brought my 4 year old daughter with me and Bree was able to fit her in for a shampoo and style! This was her very first time getting a big girl shampoo! Bree made her feel very comfortable and asked my daughter what she wanted for her style. They decided on space buns! Her little face lit up when she say her hair in the mirror! Thank you Bree for making my daughter feel special! Can’t wait to visit again!

I feel very comfortable at the salon. They are diligent about keeping it as safe and clean as possible. I love my colorist and stylist, Josie. Shes done an amazing job with my hair color, I get compliments all the time! She also listens to about how I want my hair styled. So many stylists dont. Im very happy with everyone there. Stephanie at the front is just a doll and Brianna and Lexi give the best head massages when they wash your hair!

Robin is GREAT! I always get great color & a great cut. I’ve been coming here for years, after starting at the old Highland Park salon on Roger Williams about 20 years ago. The salon has done an especially good job on COVID safety protocols. I feel very safe here.

So far, I have had standard mens haircuts by stylist Antonia and emerging artist Bree. Ive been really happy with all of the haircuts, and I felt like the stylists there really worked with me to achieve what I wanted. Its definitely pricey for a mens haircut, so the emerging artist option is a great way to to get the Gordon experience at a lower price. I was super happy with Brees cut, though the appointment was slightly longer than usual. Your mileage may vary -- I was only her first male client.COVID policies and sanitation were on point.Thanks for the clean cuts, fantastic hospitality, and lovely scents! (seriously, the building is like one big aromatherapy box)

I love this location! Ive been going here since they opened. Holly is fantastic- excellent stylist who works with you to figure out what I want. I always feel relaxed after going here.They have great COVID procedures- they check everyone as they come in and sanitize everything.

Bree did cuts for both my daughters. One partial shave and trim her corkscrew curls. The other with thick hair cut in a soft u shape. My girls liked her and how she explained everything she was doing and taught them tips for hair care.

I have been going to Gordon Salon @Glenview since this past summer. My stylist is Antonia and she is just fabulous! I love her! She knows what shes doing - and does it very well. The first time I went I wanted a color change; I had been coloring my hair red for years and I was tired of it - I wanted it to be light brown. Antonia listened to what I wanted and did my hair beautifully - the color came out so well and I was so happy! The next time I went, she added partial blonde highlights and I absolutely loved it!! I was very, very happy!! I get tons of compliments! I will always go to Antonia - she is an expert with hair and shes very nice. I always enjoy talking to her while shes doing my hair. Another fabulous gal at Glenview Gordon Salon is Alexa - she does the shampooing and rinsing. When she puts conditioner in my hair she massages my scalp so well I almost fall asleep. Its so wonderful and relaxing; she has heavenly fingers and hands! And she is a sweetheart - I love her! I highly recommend Gordon Salon in Glenview - it is very clean & professional. Ill never go anywhere else for my hair - as long as Antonia and Alexa are there!

So I have not gotten a real hair cut or salon experience since COVID last march... with that being said I was nervous about going in. I was very surprised at the precautions that were taken. Everything was very clean and the salon itself was very nice. I had a hair cut, as well as wash and blow out with Bree. Well she did a great job, really understood my hair needs and definitely knew what she was doing. My hair hasn’t looked this nice or healthy in a long time. Antonia is the “Best”

Robin cut my long curly / wavy long hair for the first time recently. I am thrilled. I have long (ish) layers that make sense for my texture. Robin really listed to me and understood that I wear my wear my hair straight for work. The cut works equally well curly and straight. I am impressed particularly because she could not really see my face (wearing a mask) and could not see my hair dry. Additionally, I deeply appreciate the controls to reduce the risk for COVID-19.
