I usually never even bother doing reviews on bad customer service...but I feel employees doesnt even bother or try wanting to help. Asked for an item, all was said is that whatever aisle it is on... and When I looked couldnt find where it was on and ask the same lady.... We probably dont have it.... Didnt even check if they did or not... Im surprised that this store is still alive with employees like that... This probably why I dont even bother going in to this store.....
Ill be honest, I have never once had a bad experience at this store with any of the employees, nor have I had to wait an obnoxious amount of time for ANYTHING at this store. The pharmacy is always professional and helpful and the only time I have had to wait was when I came in during the daily rush, which is my fault not theirs. The Floor employees have always been polite and have never been rude or crass with me. I have been going to this Walgreens for well over a year now and have never once had the over-the-top negative experience that some of these reviewers have posted.
I stopped by to return a bottle of vitamins that my husband had bought a day before and unfortunately I didnt have my receipt, so I tried my phone number and nothing came up, so the guy (Lander) who was cashiering at the time, told me he could not return it for me, because he thought I had stole it! He kept saying that you might of steel it and want to return it!! never felt so disrespected and offended, this guy needs some manners and better customer service, how could he just starts acussing some of stealing just like that! Awful experience
I went on vacation and left my meds at homeI went on vacation and left my meds at
Worst Walgreens store on customer service! Rude unhelpful, unfriendly cashiers! No managers around ever. Not coming back. They need some serious better management and employees need to learn better customer service!
Robo phone operator wastes your time! Being primarily a pharmacy hours should be longer. They have my contact info all screwed up. Online is no help.
I placed an order online for a photo canvas and paid upfront on the website, estimated time for pickup was 4:00 when I placed the order at 2. Great! When placing the order they ask for your email and phone number which is pretty standard. When I walked in around 5:15pm to pick up my order, I waited at the photo counter for 5 mins before being acknowledged while two employees joked in a different part of the store. Finally when they decided to help me I was met with a poor attitude by an employee who told me her name was Romain. She said they couldn’t fulfill my order due to a machine being down, which I understand happens and is out of her control. However I don’t understand why I wasn’t notified via phone, prior to showing up. When I asked for my money back I was told to “call corporate” because they can’t fix it (also understandable due to employee limitations) but her attitude was poorer than poor. Needless to say I exchanged words with this unacceptable employee, and plan on taking my complaints to corporate while getting my money back. If I had been told prior to 5pm on a Saturday by phone, I could have gotten my money back thru corporate and saved my time and gas. I wish I could say this was an isolated bad experience with Romain, but it’s not. Every time I’m in contact with her I leave the store extremely displeased. She is nasty to every customer she deals with and would rather hide in aisles than check out paying customers. On my way out another customer commented on Romain’s attitude as well, so she seems to be a consistent problem.
I have to agree with other reviewers regarding the competency and service at the photo shop in this store. I ordered a poster using the Walgreens website, with a store pickup time of 9:29 the next morning. I arrived at 11:30, and was told that the item was not ready and that no estimated time could be given. My husband stopped by three days later and was told that no such order existed. I called the store with my photo confirmation number and was told that the order was lost. I placed a reorder and went to pick it up the next day. When I finally got the item--it was incorrect (a photo, not a poster). I was told that they dont do poster boards in the store, despite my order confirming that this was available, and at THIS store. Bottom line: 66 miles traveled; 3 hours + 3 gallons of gas wasted only to get the wrong item. Will NEVER shop here again.
Worst Walgreens service I’ve ever experienced. What looked like a manager told us to come back 30 minutes later to print 2 pictures (no one else in the store), came back to find no one at the photo counter, had to search for the same lady to tell me to wait as she reorganized a shelf. The pictures were clearly printed right after we left. She then pulled her colleague to the side and made a joke about my “impatience”.What should have taken 5 minutes, turned into an hour shopping trip with rude employees.Incredibly unprofessional. Not worth whatever you need.
Spent 32 minutes on hold for a prescription refill....never got to refill, that requires someone answering the phone.keep it classy walgreens
The Walgreens on Grand Avenue in Glenwood Springs Colorado is the worst drugstore Ive ever seen. They never answer the phone! Instead, they put you on hold with a message saying they are busy answering other calls and will be with you shortly. I was on hold for over 45 minutes and still no one ever answered. My doctors office could not get through to the pharmacy to refill a prescription for me. The nurse faxed the prescription but when I went the next day I was told that they never received it. My doctor, Dr. Bruce Bowen called them and they were very rude to him and even questioned his credibility as a doctor. When I finally got my refill I was told that they can only answer the phone as a last resort. The store manager was rude and wouldnt even check on status of my script. I changed all of my prescriptions to this store and all of my medications cost more than I have ever paid! Your phone calls should be the priority.
All of my experiences with the Walgreens pharmacy staff have been outstanding. Although very busy and perhaps a little understaffed each person is always patient, very helpful and accommodating. Glad you are here in town, keep up the good work.
Best pharmacy in the area. So helpful and competent..
The pharmacy is terribly slow. In my experience, you can spent 30-60 minutes here picking up a prescription that’s ready for pickup. Rite Aid was great, Walgreens is a complete mess.
Just mean.I went to pick up my prescription directly from the doctors office (as usual) at about 5 pm but they said it wasnt ready yet. A couple of hours later I got an automated phone call that said there was a delay with my prescription and there was no other information available. I called Walgreens and after about half an hour on hold finally got to talk to a person. She said that my prescription was out of stock and they had to order it and it would be in the next evening. I asked if I could transfer the prescription if another pharmacy had it in stock and she said yes. I called Target and they had it in stock. I called Walgreens back again and waited another half hour on hold. They then told me that Target (CVS) HAS to call them, they cant call Target. I called Target back and unfortunately, some construction in the area had completely knocked out their system and they werent able to call Walgreens that evening. So I decided Id just wait and pick it up at Walgreens the next day. The next day I called to make sure it had come in. I spent another 1/2 hour on hold. When I finally spoke to someone, they told me that my prescription had not come in, and again, it would be in the next day. So, I called Target (CVS) back again and they said they would call Walgreens and get the prescription transferred. Awesome. So I waited just over two hours and heard nothing from Target so I called them back. The kind woman on the phone had been sitting on hold with Walgreens for OVER TWO HOURS. Every 45 minutes the call would disconnect and she would have to call back. She tried to get through until they closed. I can only assume that Walgreens KNEW another pharmacy was calling and refused to answer the call. I tried calling to talk to a manager but no one would put me through to one. One person said she would have a manager call me back and hung up without taking my information. I find it just downright mean to not try their best to help people get their prescriptions when they dont have them in stock. I ended up having my doc call in the prescription to Target and picked it up there with no problems.
I was on hold for 25 minutes, got hung up on, called back, was on hold for 25 minutes again, got hung up on again. I am on hold for the third time now. I know its not the employees fault, they are understaffed, overworked, and underpaid. So someone tell me why the CEO of Walgreens is making almost $14,000,000 a year while they wont pay to properly staff their pharmacy and fairly compensate their employees??
This walgreens should get a big 0. The pharmacy hangs up on doctors and customer when busy or just doesnt answer their phone, Ridiculous. This place has the worst service ever. I called corporate and the same thing, they just dont call back. It figures the employees are terrible the service terrible because the corporate offices are the same way. I would rather pay more money and go to CVS at Target. There is great service at that pharmacy. I actually feel sorry for walgreens employees, according to them they are way understaffed and the managers work them too hard for their pay. The Rite Aid was much better. You really need to get yourselves together. You will lose every customer and go out of business. I wish you would just leave Glenwood Springs so we can have a good place there. Very disappointing to say the least.
Had to track down an employee to pay for my selection. After finding her stocking product at the back of the store, she informed me I would have to wait for her to finish stocking then she would help me. I dont know if google allows the b or c word in reviews but this c of a b can be assured I will not bother her again.
Poor service, very long wait times, inaccurate info.Had a script transferred there to use with a GoodRX coupon that would save me half on an expensive prescription. Drove there, waited forever, and found they had only ordered 1 though the script and coupon was for 4. Pharmacist checked the coupon, said it was valid, but would not let me buy one at discounted price but should come back for the 4. Days later called, couldnt get a human in 32 minutes of hold recordings, drove 23 miles back, waited in long line, checkout clerk refused to even try the coupon, repeating only I cannot over and over again instead of just explaining that she was not a pharmacy worker and didnt know how to process it. Waited again for pharmacist, Jonathan, who said the coupon was no good and the charge would be double what I was first told. I wont be going back.
Above and beyond customer service - this group of people is willing to help and I appreciate that so much! special thanks to Romaine, Sandra & Jeannie (sorry if misspelled).
Traveling and needed a prescription filled for my son. The pharmacist went the extra mile and could not have been friendlier. The nicest Rite Aid ever!
Jason the Pharmacist is professional and doing a great job.
I sadly transferred my RX from my usual pharmacy to this one because it was closer to my home. Big mistake. There was a problem with the prescription (which I have never had before) and they were entirely unhelpful. 0 customer service. I am going back to my normal pharmacy.
Very unprofessional staff and management. I went in on a Thursday night and again on Friday and experienced the same terrible customer service I had the time before it. The woman at the cash register gave attitude like she didnt even want to be there and you were bothering her by making her do her job. When cashing out I had to literally stand there and wait 10 minutes for her to get change for a $20 dollar bill. I was surprised at first that they werent prepared for a cash customer of 20 dollars but then after the second time of going in, it occured to me these people rarely have a paying customer due to poor service. If you dont like your job.... find another one so people dont have to deal with your unpleasant, miserable self!
Extremely unprofessional/unknowledgeable staff and supervisors. Walgreens should probably look into hiring new people who actually know how to do their jobs. These ladies are a joke and so is the empty store.
Our family gets all our pharmacy needs met here. Derek, Azure, and Stephanie are wonderful. They really look out for us and always have our best interests at heart
Plenty of selection but, service here is really shotty. Ive gone in and gotten lip from employees on a fairly regular note, the staff here seems to have no interest in walking around and helping customers out. The pharmacy part of the whole deal, has been nothing but, fantastic... So Id gladly recommend getting prescriptions and such here but, in my expirience Id suggest avoiding getting much else on the way out.
Pharmacy was better run when it was a Rite Aid, but the staff is super friendly
Unfriendly and unhelpful staff, made me wait over 30min to get two pictures printed while standing around doing nothing.
Very slow, sometimes it appears they dont know what is going on.
Great staff, wanted something very specific and was walked right to it. Overall great convenient experience.
Cant get through by calling. They need a new phone system. I miss rite aid...
The only way to get a prescription filled in under 2 hours is to be friends of the woman that works there named Liz. She will then chitchat with her friend while others have to wait. This place SUCKS.
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! They printed photos wrong and said that is just the way it is! NO help at all. I had to click one star, but I didnt even want to give them that high!
The lady that was at the regester was unhuman and didnt talk to me nice . It wasnt nice purchasing the item that I bought
Worst Walgreens the pharmacist wont come and answer a 5 second question !!!
Worst ever. prescriptions arent ready when they tell you to come back. typical only game in town racket
Place is unhelpful by all means rude uneducated staff.. lazy.. and have no desire to help anyone rude. Place is garbage trash
A little kindness goes a long way.
Dear Walgreens, why would you buy all of Safeways prescriptions if you dont have time to fill them? Ive been trying to get my medications transferred to Wal-Mart for 2 weeks with no luck. I was just hung up on by the pharmacist. This is the most expensive place in town, and now they have terrible customer service.
Worst Walgreens I’ve ever worked with. On hold for 30 min every time trying to speak with someone.
Doesnt have everything I want when shopping but, they do have the cheapest menthols in town!
They had me on hold for 30mn while trying to get to the pharmacy
Very slow and very rude service!
Very good customer loyalty
Very clean
