I had my car serviced recently. I had an appointment and arrived early. Jill took care of me in a timely matter. Her customer service skills were awesome. So refreshing in the current labor market with all the staff shortages.
I took my Honda in for the first maintenance visit since purchasing. The service department was ready for me when I walked in and serviced my car right away. As soon as the technician, Daniel, did his spot check he texted me to let me know how it looked and what would be done. When it came time to pay, Daniel went over the service. He also offered me a Maintenance Plan in case I was interested, and presented me with the invoice amount he quoted when I walked in. Thats not always the case when I go to a different service group. Daniel was very helpful and impressed me with his professionalism and courtesy.
This was the most pleasant experience I have ever had with a car purchase. We had no intention of buying a car that day. We were just looking around. There was no pressure to buy, and they worked with us on financing. We got what we wanted, and will go back when we are ready for another car.

Jill is awesome. She is definitely a service advisor, not just someone that will throw parts at your vehicle. I have worked with a couple others over the last several years but that was only because she was busy. Im sure the others are good except for one. He seems to lack integrity especially with other businesses around him. Stick with Jill but be patient they are very busy and short handed.

I have been a 5 year customer with Phil Long Honda & I will continue to come back due to their excellent service.Mostly recently I took my Jeep in to get new brakes & tires. Phil long honda worked with me to look for the most reliable and reasonably priced tire(s).The original tires that were ordered were the wrong size, but they found alternative tires that were actually better quality & they did not charge me for the difference.After everything was finished, I also needed an air filter replacement. Daniel Drove to Napa auto parts to get the air filter so i wouldnt be waiting an additional 45 minutes for the part to arrive.Jill & Daniel are always so helpful finding the best prices for me, making it less stressful, and providing so much kindness. First off, Ive never purchased a vehicle form Phil Long before, but will probably again in the future. The experience was low stress and professional from beginning to end. The sales team (from Rep to Manager) were polite, helpful and most importantly they smiled and asked if there was anything they could do to make me more comfortable. It may sound odd, but simply smiling and asking how your doing is a great start to a relationship.They were fair and open to negotiate. It was a pleasant experience and I would not hesitate to recommend this dealership to my friends. I must say my experience recently at Phil Long Honda, where I ended up purchasing a very nice new Honda Ridgeline, couldn’t have been more easy going and stress free. I think a lot of reputable dealerships like this one are offering an experience like many of the online purchasing platforms at the same time enabling you that tactile experience to get more of a feeling for what suits you. My experience was basically no haggling and I received an amazing price. I know because I did countless hours of research just as you are doing. I found everyone that I came in contact with to be friendly, service minded and honest. I will be back again I am sure at some point.

I can always count on her to be professional, friendly, and very helpful.In this case, along with my primary reason of bringing my car in for a general inspection and purchasing all-weather tires for the summer, she was able to grab a few minutes in her busy day, when I came back to pick up my car, to show me how to use the navigation system, since the process in the newer CRVs is very different from the earlier models.I always feel that my car is in good hands when I take it in for regular maintenance or if I have any problems that need to be addressed.
I had to have my CRV Towed to the dealership because the power steering went out. There were some torn cables, and Honda had to order a part. It was relatively quick, and Jill and team were really responsive. Thanks for getting this taken care of for me!

It was unfortunate that we had van trouble while traveling Interstate 70 during our vacation. We were VERY FORTUNATE that we were able to get in and get service at Phil Long Honda. We were able to call them 40 miles out when we realized we were having problems, get their advice, and get in. They had a great waiting room that our family seemed to take over. They were close to Culvers so we could walk to lunch. Even though the job took longer than even they anticipated, they were as gracious for our patience as we were that they were able to get our van in. Even the mechanic, Jordan, came over to wish us well on our trip. Based on our experience, we recommend others to utilize their services!

I have had two terrible experiences at Phil Long Honda Glenwood Springs. This is the second time they have told me they could help fix my vehicle but then I have to come back for a second time and they can’t so now I’m going back to Denver to try to get my car fixed. They did an alignment but nothing changed from before and after. I do not recommend this Honda dealership

Integrity! They have it. I went in to look at getting my wife a car. I looked and called round in Denver. I didnt find any reason to travel out there. I met Izzy our sales person. I Told him what I wanted to do as far as trade in loan and down payment. He went back to his manager to work on it. In a very short time he had the numbers I wanted. When I got to Finance the numbers did not match up. there software had made significant a mistake in my favor. Instead of telling I had to pay up more. The finance guy took it the sales manager they made adjustments and they ate the whole thing. Sales dept. and finance all stood behind the mistake. Never had that happen before. For sure we will by there again and recommend they to everyone. Thank you again!

What a great experience dealing with Phil Long Honda in Glenwood Springs. The car game is absolutely crazy right now. I know exactly what I wanted and had one dealership in the Denver Metro area just be downright rude and refuse to answer even basic questions. Two others were nice, but politely told me they dont have to make any accommodations right now so they arent going to. Found out Phil Long had exactly what I was looking for on the internet. Gave them a call and they not only gave me what I was asking, but beat it by another $100! On top of that, they drove it to my house so I didnt have to find a ride to Glenwood. In 2016 I had my 2009 Element serviced twice within a few weeks. Both times an extra inspection was done (not at my request). The second time, I was told that 3 new problems suddenly appeared. 1. The serpentine belt was cracked and frayed, 2. Valve cover gasket was leaking, and 3. Crankshaft seal was leaking. After leaving Iinspected the belt and could see no visible wear as described. I took the car to my local mechanic as he said it was in good condition and would last 10-15k miles more. I also cleaned the engine. It appeared oil liquid had been sprayed on it and that oil from oil changes had been spilled on it. After cleaning it there was no oil re-accumulation. So there were no leaks as described.Because of this, I decided to have my car serviced elsewhere (at a local mechanic the specializes in Japanese autos).In July 2021, I got new tires and decided I should give the Phil Long Honda another chance and took my car in for an alignment check. They said the rear alignment was out (according to their measuring gauge) and so I scheduled an alignment for the next day. They improved the alignment (according to their measuring gauge) but failed to get the alignment within specs (according to their measuring gauge) and declared the rear trailing arm must be bent and should be replaced at $1400. There was no other evidence presented that such a problem actually existed. I expressed my doubts. The service rep said he would investigate and discuss the diagnosis with the technician and service manager and they would get back to me. I have not heard back from them.Before bringing the car in to Phil Long, Discount Tire who put on the new tires said that there was no evidence of an alignment problem based on wear pattern on the old tires.Given the above I am giving a one star rating as there is reason to doubt honesty and/or competence and a lack of responsiveness to my concerns over this.Update (9/20/2021): I took my car to Riverside Import which is nearby in Glenwood and they said there was no problem with the trailing arm, but the problem was the bolts that had to be loosened to do the rear alignment were seized. They provided an estimate to cut them off and replace parts. I contacted Phil Long Honda and told them this. They apologized and offered to provide a refund on the alignment. I then offered to allow them to look at the car again - perhaps they could unseize the bolts and do the alignment? They did not respond, so I went in and accepted the refund. I then took the car home and applied Liquid Wrench to the bolts, cleaned them, etc. per guidance on various YouTube channels. I then took the car to Big O - they had no problem loosening the bolts and adjusting the alignmentHope this helps.

In March 2021, I bought a Toyota RAV4 from Phil Long Honda in Glenwood Springs from Salesman Izzy Johnson. My RAV4 seemed to run fine, the carfax was good, and overall I loved the price; so, I purchased the vehicle. Before I start sharing my experience, I just want to admit that it’s my fault for not being more careful when I test drove and inspected the vehicle. I got in my new RAV4 the next day to go to work, and there was mouse feces everywhere. You could hear them scratching in the roof, the doors, there were multiple mice living in that car! Again, I am 20 years old, and not very experienced but at the time I found the mice, I felt taken advantage of. I went back to the dealership expecting them to turn me away, but rather they offered to exterminate the car, clean it up, inspect it, etc. However, I also had a 3 day warranty to replace the car for any reason, so instead of killing the mice and risking dealing with hidden damages, I bought my 2015 Ford Edge Titanium with about 38,000 miles on it. It’s not as sporty of a car as I wanted, but there weren’t many other good options and it has a lot more features. Now, fast forward to May 2021. I’m driving on the highway when my car just stops accelerating, it starts whining, something obviously isn’t right. I brought it into the dealership and asked them to figure out why my car, now with 42,000 miles on it, is broken. They were very kind, offered me a very nice loaner car so I wasn’t without a car while it was in service. The report came back that a Turbocharge in my engine had failed. I was very surprised considering the car doesn’t have many miles on it, the carfax had no extreme services already, etc. Izzy Johnson let me know it would take about a week to get it finished, and would cost about $5,000; however, I had a warranty on the car so they offered to fix my car for no cost. I am very appreciative that things worked out like they did.I’m not sure if I just have “bad luck” with cars, but I’m sure that the salespeople, customer service representatives, and maintenance people at Phil Long Honda are truthful and will genuinely try all they can to solve any of your problems!

So my wife is purchasing a vehicle and she was looking at a vehicle in Grand Junction and here at Phil Long Honda. Ultimately my wife decided to purchase a black car in Grand Junction but I wanted to leave a Google review on my experience. The sales associate I spoke with over the phone Bri and mark the general manager went above and beyond to help my wife make a decision. Even though we were in Grand Junction they imported a grey vehicle with the specifications my wife desired. They took pictures of this vehicle, and even beat the price of the other dealership. There was nothing more they could have done to win us over. At the end of the day it came down to the color of the vehicle. My wife ultimately decided to go with the black vehicle at the other lot. I was sad for this dealership because they hustled so hard for us and worked tirelessly for four days straight to do everything. They were honest and straightforward and I never felt like I was working with sales people rather I felt like I was working with a local business. If you are looking for a Honda, I highly recommend you come to this location and work with Bri. She will do what she needs to make sure you get everything you need and do it ethically. The dealership obviously has her back and also does things ethically which in this day and age is not a given. I will definitely be a future customer even though this specific deal fell through. I have been going to Phil Long Honda since 2005. The trade in value for a Honda Pilot is very good, so every 4-5 years I get a new Pilot. I just bought a 2021 Pilot and the service was excellent during the entire sales procedures.

I bought my used Hyundai Tucson from Phil Long about a year ago and I absolutely love it. The first time I took it in to get checked out and serviced was this past week (June 2020). I was pleasantly surprised with how attentive the service staff was. They sent a video detailing everything underneath the car and a document with all of their service suggestions and how long I could go without getting the service done.As a young woman whom knows nothing about cars, I was very impressed with Peters ability to explain everything and his no pressure attitude. I will happily continue servicing my vehicle with Phil Long!
I have brought my Volvo here as long as I’ve owned it for oil changes, alignment and general maintenance. This is the first review I have ever written and I am sad that I couldnt have had the same experience that so many other folks seem to have had when working with this dealership. I was misled into thinking I was purchasing a vehicle from them when it was sold to another family (after I was told to fill out the application and they had run my credit), I am in sales too and it felt very unethical to be treated the way that I was. After speaking with the salesman for almost a week on the vehicle, I was never asked to put a deposit down to hold it, I was under the impression we were good to go. After finding out that they had sold it elsewhere it was brought to my attention that the numbers we were discussing had never been accepted and I was just wasting my time with the entire process. I sent an email looking for some answers that was not responded to, spoke with the sales manager and was treated like a number, and never received a call back from the GM after leaving him a voicemail. Frustrating experience and lesson learned on my end.
Great customer service and friendliness. Jill handled my problem confidently. I needed a shuttle ride home and that was taken care of quickly. Next day received a video from technician that identified the problem and suggested fix. Using text messages to keep me updated worked very well. Ill be back as needed when car requires service.

I have used Phil Long Honda service for as long as I have owned my 2002 Honda civic,6 years. Most often Jill, the writer at the service desk, is the person I work with. She is always helpful, courteous and is able to help me with the issues I have with my vehicle. With Jills assistance I have my vehicle in good shape for the upcoming winter months. My overall experience with the employees at the dealership have always been exceptional.
