Well I went in to this True Value hardware and got, try #5 its probably a spray there. He was right. There was 1 kind, 1 size and 2 on the shelve. Was looking for a spray for flying insects. Paid high price for something I could have gotten from wal mart and would have had a dozen choices. So much for the hometown hardware store. If I wanted to be ignored and get no customer service might just as well go to wal mart.

Been here a number of times and theyve always had what I needed, and the staff has been very helpful

Very knowledgeable and friendly people have a wide variety of home improvement materials and its nice to have this close to home without having to deal with Walmart crowd

Yesterday I visited there to find lock same I have in my house which were 100 year old.So the thing is I visited Artial plaza but I didnt find same lock but I found at true value hardware store.Address is:25 Bleecker St, Gloversville, NY 12078

Very Friendly and Helpful staff. Store is very clean and has a ton of stuff to offer at reasonable prices. I went to Home Depot and Lowes for some Gray Drylok paint and both were out of stock. But Gloversville True Value had a whole shelf full of it and for about the same price. Will be my new go to place in thr future.

I got there after they closed and were heading home,they were gracious enough to unlock the doors to get what I needed to finish my project....I appreciate it guys A++

Purchasing local is what keeps our city alive. Business is risky these days and it makes me proud to see someone willing to support a city in tough times. Its always easier to just give up and join the typical trash talkers then to get your hands dirty and help out. Need more people like these in this day and age.
