Highly recommend! My wife insisted on having a CD player in her 2020 Outback. (She is old school!). I bought the kit from Subaru to install the factory unit myself. This turned out to not the easiest thing to install because of the number of interior parts that need removed. Anyway, after install, and triple checking everything, the CD player did not work.I was told by the internet (ugh) that something in the system needed to be “turned on” or something. So, I admitted defeat, swallowed my pride and scheduled and appointment at this dealer dealer to make it happy.I was surprised when I picked it up… No Charge! That’s right, they fixed my mistake at no charge. Apparently I left something unplugged. I was blown away because my usual experience with dealer service has always been less than stellar.Thank you AutoNation Subaru West!

Was told after driving down the hill that they didnt have the technician for the recall I had so I needed to reschedule. Wasted my time for the service.

Had my 2019 outback in again and getting asked to review.Biggest disappointment is I bought my vehicle here and have had issues covered under warranty but to get my car in it takes 1.5 to 2 weeks. I want to keep going here for all services but not returning calls and huge delays to make an appointment for an issue with a new vehicle purchased from the location is a disappointment.

I was directed to AutoNation West after two dealerships in Colorado did not have a vehicle I had been hunting for. John and his manager worked with me and my unique situation to not only sell me a car but hold it for four days until I could get down to Colorado from South Dakota to purchase the vehicle. They were fast, friendly, and the best price out of the four dealerships I had contacted. I highly recommend them for purchasing a vehicle!

Very little communication between departments. I ordered keys and checked in with the parts department this morning, who told me they had keys in hand and I could come by any time (and I clarified to make sure the time I came in would work) to have them programmed. I came in the late afternoon and the service department said they couldn’t schedule me until an entire month out. They’ve been fairly helpful on the phone, but any time I’ve been into the physical location, the customer service is lacking. Skip the dealership for anything but recalls, there are a NUMBER of better, cheaper, independent shops in Denver.

I bought a car here back in June 27th. We got an amazing deal on the car. The next day the engine light came on. It was a Sunday, but we called Muhammad, our sales person, and he said bring it in first thing Monday. We brought it in Monday and were told it would be done by Tuesday. We waited and waited around Denver as we are from out of town and didnt want to drive home and come back. When it wasnt done by Tuesday we didnt even get the option to walk away with the 5 day or 250 mile guarantee. On Tuesday Muhammad told us he would deliver it to us so we went home expecting it by the end of the week. That did not happen. Muhammad was terrible at getting back to us and keeping us in the loop of what was going on with our car. We decided to go to the hire up people and find out what was going on. On Monday of the next week we spoke to a manager who I dont remember the name of and he said the warranty to fix the problem still had not come through. This manager also told us that having the car delivered would not be possible so this was disappointing. Finally on Tuesday, July 7th we were told it was not a sensor issue, but actually something went out on the transmission and this was the first we were hearing about this. All along we were told it was a sensor issue. I talked to Wes and he was very helpful and kind. Wes told us the car would be done and ready for us to get on Monday. Muhammad texted me on Saturday the car was done and asked when we would be there to get it. I told him we were coming down with family and would be there around 10 to Noon as my mother in law had a doctor appointment before. Then Sunday night Muhammad texted me at midnight telling us to get there at 11 to make it quick. Well I was sleeping when I got the text and my mother in law was not done at the doctors for us to get there at 11. It was very unprofessional of him to text me at such late hours and he also called us as we were on our way over to see if we were coming. Of course we were coming we had been waiting for our car for 2 weeks. We got the car, but had to go through the whole paperwork process again. Once we were all done we were getting our car and Wes came out and told us he was so sorry for what happened and if we needed anything else to come back.Over all I dont think the dealership was bad. I think this was a tough situation, but it still could have been handled in a more professional way. Muhammad is a very unprofessional sales man. I appreciated Wes and also Shane in finance.

Dont trust the service quotes on their website! The online quote for the 60k mile tune-up for my Crosstrek was $426, but when I showed up for my appt, they told me it would be $1000, claiming the website didnt include spark plugs and fluid changes (FYI, I went back to check, and there is no fine print and those things are SPECIFICALLY listed AS INCLUDED. I complained, and they brought the final down to $625 WITH a 25% discount. I called around - other dealerships charge that WITHOUT needing a discount or complaining. False advertising is what Id call that. Wont be going back.

Bought a 2013 Subaru Crosstrek. It lasted 117,000 miles before the transmission broke. $10,000 transmission and no assistance from Subaru because it’s outside the 100,000 mile warranty. Car didn’t last 10 years let alone hold up to the slogan “90% of Subaru’s are still on the road” Corporate number said they’d give me $500 towards a new Subaru... I’m totally screwed, Subaru has lost my business forever. I would suggest not purchasing one honestly, they just don’t last mechanically anymore.

Took my car in after a couple lights came on. By time we got the appointment the lights had turned off and there were no issues with the car. We took the car in anyways just to be safe . My car ended up needing an update. Turns out while installing this update they fried the computer and the car was no longer drivable. They needed to order a part before they could fix it. Took a week to get the part. Although they agreed to pay for the replacement part, which we appreciated, they never would admit that they made a mistake and we were never offered a replacement car.We also needed a new battery according to the service guys. We were offered a lifetime battery which we thought would be a good idea considering this is a somewhat new car. When we got the car back and read the fine print its not a lifetime battery, its only one replacement when the lifetime one fails. What a ripoff. That should be explained to customers not hidden in fine print.Lastly, they didnt bother to reset the clock on my car. Not a big deal but just shows that these people dont care. Dont think we will be back.

Tried to book airbag recall and oil change. Service guy says it will take three days to repair, but Subaru will only pay for one day of a loaner car. I can wait until June and get a one day appointment. The recall notice says not to let a passenger ride in front until the recall is remedied. How am I supposed to do this until June? Service Guys opinion, that is just what Subaru is recommending. Well, dont you work for Subaru? Come on! I would rather be treated sub par at Grease Monkey than be treated like you treat customers. So sorry I inconvenienced YOU by purchasing a Subaru that would later have recalls.I will give you a 2 since you finally answered the phone.

Embarrassingly terrible service, bordering on criminal. Ive taken a car there twice for recall work. The first time they discovered an oil leak, which is odd given that there are no oil spots where I park my car, and my car consumes no oil. Where was this oil leaking to? Back into the oil pan where it belongs? Further, after getting my car back, within 50 miles, my oil light comes on. So they fix my car, and then cant add the proper amount of oil once they do an oil change. The second time I bring it in for recall service, they call to inform me that I need software updates and some bulbs are burned out. I decline since bulbs are easy enough to replace on my own. Except after getting my vehicle back, I find that no bulbs anywhere on my vehicle are actually burned out. Im curious, were they planning to change out working bulbs? Or were they going to charge me for work theyd never do in the first place? Makes me wonder what the hell they did to fix my oil leak.Lying thieves.
