Twice I waited on hold for 45 minutes only to get hung up on; I tried 3 times to get my medicine - they told me they were requesting my medicine be transferred from my previous Walgreens and every time I went back they said they had no record of transferring it; they told me they would have my prescriptions in 5-10 minutes and I left after an hour and 15 minutes, I didn’t get a notification that they were ready until the next day. Incredibly under-staffed, the management/corporate staff here are at fault - if you can’t figure out how to staff your business, you need to close it down.

Their prescription system has failed me (I have Medicare and the United Healthcare Walgreens prescription insurance coverage).Historically, I was notified when my prescriptions were being processed and again when they were ready for pickup, additionally, they would request a new prescription from my PCP when the refills were about to expire. I am nearly out of my 2 prescriptions and when I was finally able to reach someone last week, they blamed my PCP for not responding to their messages. When I contacted my PCP yesterday, I was informed that they had not received any requests from Walgreens.I attempted to call Walgreens 3 times yesterday and when the automated message claimed that I was next in line, after being on hold for 30 minutes, I was disconnected all 3 times. Totally frustrated, I contacted United Healthcare to transfer my account from Walgreens to a mail order company.Additionally, I find their prices incredibly high. For instance I needed a supply last year, Walgreens was charging nearly $8 and Amazon was charging less than $5 for exactly the same item. My neighbors have complained about long lines at the pharmacy and cashier station.Their loyalty program is a joke!!Furthermore, when I switched my prescriptions to a mail order company, one of my prescriptions decreased from $47.40 to $16.51 for the same 90 day supply. I do not know why they are still in business!!Id find another pharmacy rather than give this one your business.

On hold with the pharmacy for over 30 minutes and then disconnected. This is the second time its happened to me. Think its faster walking in? Think again. I waited at their drive up for 30 minutes too and I was at the window! Almost made me late for a flight. Walgreens, get them some help or open another store in the area. This is ridiculous.

Been on hold with their pharmacy for more than 30 mins, then they hung up on me. Called them back and now on minute 10 of holding. Every time I go to pick up my medication, it takes at least 20 mins for them to even start assisting me, even though it’s a relatively low volume store. You’d think they’d place more importance on people’s health. Just horrendous service.

Using the pharmacy here has been a horrible experience. They always refill my prescription with the wrong medication, and when I request the correct one they are upset and rude as if Im in the inconvenience.

Scheduled online my vaccines, MMR, TDap and flu vaccine. Waited over 1 hour and additionally they didn’t have MMR so I waisted my time and had to schedule somewhere else.

Walgreens in Golden has Always been Good to me. Sometimes I have to wait a few minutes but almost always leave with my prescriptions. I also got my Johnson and Johnson Vaccine yesterday. Damn arm hurts bad today where the injection site is. Highly recommend this Walgreens!

They ordered a pair of reading glasses that were in the display, but were out of stock, and said they would hold them, but they did not. I also specifically went to this store because the Walgreens website said they had a Bluetooth FM transmitter in stock, but I couldnt find it, and the staff could not be bothered to even look up the item code I had saved. They should just install self checkout kiosks and fire everyone who doesnt work in the pharmacy.

I went in to this store Thursday afternoon looking for something that another clerk at another Walgreens told me they had them at this location. My boys and I came in and right away I noticed employees following us around. Make it seem like we were going in there to steal. Then I noticed a lady who also an employee standing around acting like she was fixing items on the shelf. I felt like I was doing something wrong. When we were just told the items were at that location. One last thing the cashier was rude too.

Went there for ID photos for official documents. The pictures were blurry with bad contrast. Why not buy good cameras rather than those cheap devices?

Went to pick up a prescription yesterday. The pharmacist (Jim) took the time to figure out that for this drug caplets are significantly cheaper than tablets. He is contacting the doctor to change the prescription to tablets. As always, he and his team go the extra mile. I find them unfailingly helpful.

As far as selection goes this location has what any Walgreens has. The customer relations on the other hand was abominable this morning. They are running a charity drive, selling red noses to help children. Great, I have no problem with that. The clerk asked how many red noses I would like. I responded no red noses, thank you. She replied with Gotta help those kids. After a pause while I am standing there with a polite smile thinking that was a little pushy she continues with I hope you can sleep well.This is absolutely outside the scope of acceptable customer interaction for me. In the future I will shop at the pharmacy in the King Soopers across the street, where it turns out the product I was looking for is 2/3 the price.

We went to this Walgreens because they had the Yellow Fever vaccine that my husband and I needed to have for some travel overseas. The pharmacist named Jim was helpful on the phone as he explained they only had a limited amount of this vaccine so we should come ASAP. The pharmacist Shari Bohn was extremely helpful when we were there both with administering the vaccine and explaining other vaccines that I might need in preparation for caring for my newborn granddaughter that is due soon.

I came into the store to return a few items -- I had the receipt. I was told that their policy was to not return the full price paid for anything returned.Upon looking on the website -- I found out this was not true!I called the store and talked to a very nice gentleman -- I wish I had got his name? -- I told him about my experience and he was truly surprised. He asked if I still had my receipt -- but I do not -- he said he would still look into this matter -- asked for my phone number -- and told me he would see what he could do for me.This young man was truly concerned about customer appreciation and Walgreens is lucky to have him as their representative.

I am a local doctor who would recommend going to a different pharmacy. The pharmacist at this location believes it is her right to choose not to fill prescriptions despite the patient having a prescription. She is extremely unprofessional, unreliable, and rude to top it off. I would highly recommend going to another pharmacy, especially if you have multiple prescriptions, or a complex health history. They do not provide individualized or personal care at all because they are so big that they just dont care. The only caring staff member in the pharmacy is Brooke. Unfortunately, she is not the pharmacist!

I needed some immunization for a trip and this location offered the shots. I arrived and requested my immunization. I then spent over an hour waiting to receive the shots. There was one other person waiting for shots. It was a weekday afternoon, not busy. Just unacceptably slow.

Same thing as Geordie below said. Ive worked at Walgreens before and Rite Aid to. I know sometimes corporate comes up with these philanthropy campaigns and thats fine to ask a customer once, but the first shift lady crosses that line and asks over and over as if though *shaming* me will cause me to change my mind. I left a very negative review right afterwards in the parking lot she reminded me of an aggressive panhandler that I frequently saw in Sacramento

I mainly go to get my prescriptions filled since its cheaper at King Soopers for everything else they sell. But every time I come, the pharmacy staff is so rude, especially Jim the pharmacy manager. The way he talks down to people is unacceptable and unnecessary.

Would not accept a discount card, when any other pharmacy in the area would. Wasted my time. Multiple websites even show Walgreens as accepting coupon / discount cards for this medication, as it is typically $300.
