Great Shop with great Customer Service!!I always swing in here when passing thru Golden, to check out accessories cause they generally have a great selection!!I Recently bought some gloves here that had an issue after a few rides and the woman working was so friendly and helpful in Swapping them out as well as helping me with some advice on some other issues I was having with old pedals and shoes. She was full of good information and helpful advice!! Good vibes at the shop for sure!I’ll be back to ship again soon.

These guys spent hours researching the problem with my e-bike, found the problem/solution and only charged me for the part and labor to replace totaling $35.00! I’m a customer for life!

Got the bike we were looking for, when they said they could get it, at the advertised price. Pick up and fitting of the bike were quick and easy. And they took care of a couple of adjustments for us at no extra charge. My daughter is so happy and rides it every day. Great experience.

Peak Cycles is a great company to work with. I ordered a bike, the bike was delayed, then delayed, by the manufacturer. Peak was very communicative of the situation, being very patient with my incessant questioning (i was terribly excited). The whole time, they were taking accountability for the issues in shipping though they didn’t need to, and when the product arrived, i was promptly contacted. Upon pickup, the sales gal and bike tech were professional and vigilant in setting up my bike. I will be back to Peak Cycles for any of my bicycle needs!

Peak has been our go to bike shop for a couple of years now. The folks are nice, they always have what we need or let us put a deposit/hold to get a first look at incoming bikes. There’s a lot of bike-snobbery in the Golden/Boulder area but Peak isn’t a part of it. 5/5. Would recommend.

Peak cycles staff are super friendly and educational, and sent me on my way with a new bike that was perfectly fitted to me and tuned properly. The shop is organized and they have a great breadth of selection. They we’re happy to answer all my questions and let me test ride multiple bikes more than once to find the perfect one.

This place is great! They were the only store that had the bike I wanted in stock in the whole state and didn’t hesitate to let me put a small deposit down to hold it until I was able to pick it up a few days later. When I arrived they had it prepped for me and ready to go!

Thanks Peak Cycles for the wonderful service with my new Roubaix, keeping me updated on its arrival, especially Nicole. It was so easy getting in for little tweaks on the new bike. I will absolutely be back as a customer! Awesome bike shop!

I like this shop quite a bit and Im lucky enough for it to be only about a 30-35 minute bike ride from my home. The actual physical shop is nice place and for me what I like best is the fact that they also own/operate bikeparts.com and I can pick up ordered parts next day or have shipped to my home. The website has a ton of selection on offer leaving little if any variety to be desired.

I had a last minute issue with my bike that I was having trouble fixing myself and had planned to participate in a group ride the next day. I called a number of bike shops and their techs were full up for a few weeks given this is a really busy time of the season for them. I chanced it and went into Peak Cycles thinking they could at least give me some advice on how I could fix my issue. I met Ellis who asked what was going on and to my surprise, he dropped everything he was doing to help me out. Not only did he resolve my issue, he showed me what he was doing along the way along with a few tricks of the trade so I could do it myself next time. Great asset for the bike shop; cant thank him enough!

Last fall we put a deposit down on a new bike for our son. After months of forecasted Covid delays the bike recently arrived! The Peak team did an outstanding job of readying the bike for use and made the final fitting adjustments in short order. Son couldn’t be happier. An excellent experience all around.

I arrived at the shop to see what was there and left with a bike fitted and ready to ride! Ellis did a super job! And the attention from the sales staff was excellent!

The folk at Peak are super friendly and helpful. I picked up a new Oveja Negra Frame Bag recently. It was easy to install and it holds a lot of gear, food, tools, etc. I would recommend a frame bag to anyone doing short or long rides because its just nice to always be prepared.

Very rude employee, he didn’t even try to help me! He advised leave the bike and pick it up in a month! I understand you guys are busy, but at least try to help another cyclist, very disappointed with the quality of service at this shop! Don’t go if you have an emergency, they won’t help you!!!

They were the ONLY shop, online or otherwise, that had the part I needed without waiting over a week for shipping. It is a 50 mile round trip for me, but this was important enough it was worth it. Their UPS guy screwed up big time causing me a trip for nothing (it wasnt there when I arrived). They were empathetic, kind and professional.I drove home to take it up with UPS the next day...guess what, it showed up that next day. They were kind enough to ship it to my home due to my inconvenience, no extra charge. Absolutely unnecessary. With that kind of service, you can bet I wouldnt have any problem making the drive again if needed. Nicky and JT were great. Thank you all!

Put in an order Wednesday morning at 7am. Website says they ship out the following business day. They didnt ship my order out until the following Monday. Terrible.

Couldnt do a derailleur adjustment. Bike is worse than before. Tried to sell me lubricant to degrease my chain.

Great customer service! The item I ordered on their bikeparts.com website for in store pickup arrived damaged with pieces missing. They immediately ordered me a new one. I said that since I was going to be out of town for 2 weeks I couldn’t pick it up and would rather have it shipped to my house. They said no problem and shipped it to my house for free even though the part was under the $50 free shipping requirement.Their website bikeparts.com also has probably around 100,000 different bike parts, and for an affordable price!It’s absolutely ridiculous!

I found these guys while looking for parts for a bike I found next to a dumpster. After rediscovering my love for working on bikes, I decided to start fixing bikes in my local community for donations to the Boston Childrens Hospital.Since that Ive been ordering stuff for tools, parts, etc from these folks and everything has been smooth. Ive sent a few other folks their way for parts and everything comes quickly. Packaging had also been great too.Cant recommend them enough.

I had to give this place some props for above and beyond customer support. I ordered 2 tires from them last week. Due to this whole Covid thing I figured A. They are slammed. B. It would take a while. The next day I got an email from John saying sadly they only had 1 of the tires available. He offered a few other suggestions proactively which was cool to see. I responded that I only needed the 1 tire anyways, but appreciated the suggestions.Now I think alright, a few weeks and I should get that tire...nope NEXT DAY it is sitting at my front door. (I am from CO so that made it easier).Great job being proactive in what could have been a slightly annoying situation. You turned a ya I heard of those guys customer to those guys my go to.

So maybe I dont understand how the relationship is between Specialized and a dealer/store. The Specialized website has tires on sale and noted Peak Cycles has them in stock for pickup. I get to Peak Cycles and they tell me they will not sell me the tire for $35.99, but for $45. So i just ordered online and shipped to my house. So much for advertised pricing. What am i missing?

Terrible experience with female employee last week.I called in advance to place an order (as the shop has been requesting since start of covid), but was told to knock at front door and I could then shop for whatever I needed. I asked again if I could just place order and pickup, but he insisted that I follow his instructions.Then when I arrived and knocked on door, a woman finally answered but instead of greeting me, she totally ignored me and helped the lady who was behind me in line. When I asked if i could enter shop, she rudely said theres no browsing allowed, and use hand sanitizer before entering.She was very helpful and nice to the woman, but totally rude and dismissive towards me for no good reason.Hopefully the shop deals with this employee, before she loses more customers....I immediately left and went and spent my $350 at Big Ring. I will never shop at Peak Cycles again as long as that employee still works there.IN RESPONSE TO THE OWNERS RESPONSE BELOW: Youre totally missing the point. Your employee was completely rude and obnoxious, regardless of what she intended. And how/why exactly did she believe that someone else was already helping me, when she never bothered to ask, let alone acknowledge me? And this somehow excuses her behavior??Now I can see why this sort of behavior is tolerated at your shop... your ownership accepts it and refuses to hold anyone accountable. You dont get it.Ive spent $1000s at your shop in the past, but will never return again based on my experience and your response.

Ive bought two Specialized bikes at this shop. Took one in for a simple drop-post repair last week...no customers allowed inside, and I was told if I didnt have a reservation, it would be over 3 weeks before theyd work on it. Took it down the street to the shop on S Golden Rd, and they repaired it on the spot (for $6). Why would I ever buy another bike at Peak???

During our 3 month self quarantine, Ive placed over a dozen orders from Peak Cycles / Bikeparts.com. They are consistently AWESOME. Exceptional customer service, fast order processing and prompt shipping. We are customers for the long haul!

Staff was very helpful. Bought some Juicy brake pads, grips, and elixir pads. They are following a strict covid policy and so while no customers are allowed in the store they gladly bring things out.

Didn’t buy anything only ask a question. They answered my question quickly. With service this good for just a question, I can only imagine the great service I will get when I buy something. Thanks Peak Cycles.

The guys were awesome, treated me like I knew what I was talking about and werent condescending when answering questions like I sometimes get because Im a chick. They worked with me until I found my perfect bike and I mean, perfect. I love my bike, and I love this shop. 5 stars.

Great customer service! I called 3 reputable bike shops in the area when I needed to get some very last minute work done on my road bike before a week long tour. Peak was the only shop that was able to fit me in on such short notice. Chad got me in that day!! And they didnt charge me a fortune. I will definitely be back.

Great Bike Shop in Golden with fantastic customer service! I got a ridiculously nice demo bike for the weekend which they only charged one day for as they are closed on Sunday. I had an early flight out of DIA on Monday and had to rely on a buddy to return the bike Monday morning before 10AM. Well, you guessed it, my buddy totally forgot and the bike did not make it back until Tuesday, two days late! They honored the original deal and simply said glad you enjoyed it.

Amazing customer service. I came in with a mechanical issue just as they were closing up the shop, they happily welcomed me in and took the time to get my issue solved and get me back on the road. They have a great selection and competitive prices. Everyone there is very nice and not at all pretentious. The only bike shop in town as far as I am concerned!

Great bike shop. Helpful staff who are very knowledgeable about both road and mountain bikes, great service department, quick turnaround times, and probably the best prices in the area. Also, they have an awesome website, price match other online retailers, and you can pick up your order at the shop in a day or two - so you get the ease and convenience of online shopping but also support a local business. Cant beat it. I shop at all the bike stores in Golden/Denver/Wheat Ridge/Littleton, etc. Highly recommend Peak Cycles.

Very technically skilled sales staff and mechanics. Very willing to give good deals to good customers. Part of our community. I bought new mountain bikes for my wife and I. The shop was more than willing to make significant modifications to the bikes we were buying and to give us a great off-season deal not only on the bikes but on everything else we purchase such as parts and clothes.

The good folks at Peak Cycles helped me out sourcing a new saddle for my sons Specialized Hotrock bike. I needed a new one ASAP to replace a damaged seat. They were so kind as to take one off their stock bike so I could get him riding immediately instead of waiting for one to get shipped. Excellent thinking and fantastic customer service!

Shop techs are friendly and know there stuff and can usually get your bike back on the road fast. Also like that I can order parts online and pick them up the next day with no shipping cost. Great shop.

This bike shop is my favorite. Prices are great, advice is top notch, service fantastic. I prefer Peak over any of the other bike shops Ive been to including Wheat Ridge Cyclery and Performance Bicycle. Better help and prices. Never any sales pressure. Just, genuine desire to help.

First I would like to say that I am out of state. I broke my hanger attaching the derailleur while riding up to Apex trail. I thought my vacation in Colorado was done, but then I found these guys! They are a GIANT dealer I assume as they had my hanger for my roadbike and took my needs seriously and fixed my bike that same day and even suggested going up Look Out Mt which I enjoyed! Hands down this is a great shop with people who care for your safety and would recommend this place to anyone in need of a LBS. Simply put- Outstanding!

What can you say about a place that when you are out on a ride and something strange like your saddle frame snaps drops everything to help you out and get you on the road again. Not only did they search high and low to see if they had my saddle in stock (they had the model but not the size) but when they didnt they ordered it (and told me it was free of charge because of the manufacturer warranty) and set me up with a loaner not just get to home for the day but to use until the new one came in. These guys went above and beyond and deserve a ton of kudos. I work in the area so these guys are now my bike shop of choice.

This is the only bike shop that I trust with servicing my bicycle. Quality work, competitive prices, friendly techs and staff. I recently had a standard tuneup for the same price they charged five years ago. Great selection of cycling related merchandise.

The frame on my mountain bike got damaged and I brought it in to Peak Cyles to get it looked at. They submitted it for warranty, got me a brand new frame, and swapped everything over at no cost to me. On top of that everyone I spoke to was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be using them in the future.

This was one of the first shops that we found when we moved to Colorado and we are glad we stopped in. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly and very helpful and got us set up with a demo MTB for my son that was awesome. We ended up buying two after I tried it and realized my 12 year old hard tail just wasnt going to cut it in Colorado. The guys in service know their stuff and go out of their way to be sure everything is perfect on your bike before it leaves the shop. And George the in house fitter got my road bike set up better than ever thus relieving the low back pain that had been bothering me for some time. Thanks to John and his amazing crew for the awesome work they do!
