First time to Planet Hyundai Golden. I took my car in for a safety recall which turned out to be nothing (better to be safe!).I had a little trouble finding the service dept when I first arrived / path to get there was blocked by a semi but once I was in, I was treated well / high touch customer service. Customer waiting area had super fast wifi along w/ coffee.What really impressed me when I got my car back was that they had rinsed it off (it was a little dirty, haha). What?!! Totally unexpected and made my day :)
Excellent service! The car salesman Troy Potter was probably the nicest guy I’ve met. Definitely ask for him when you go, but all in all the entire staff was great and couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Don’t waste your time on buying a new car from Hyundai. When buying a new car I was hoping I wouldn’t have any issues but I guess I hoped wrong. I have a few sensor issues that I need to get a diagnostics run on to see what’s going on, they told me it would take two business days so I asked for a loaner… I understand that loaners aren’t available right away, it take a few weeks but 3 months out?? I bought a new car for the service and conveniences but this has been nothing but a headache. Will definitely be looking to trade my car in ASAP!!

We worked with Michelle T to purchase a new 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe. This was the best dealership experience that I have ever had. We scheduled a test drive, Michelle explained some of the features of the car, and then we were on our way. No pressure to close a deal or lock in the car. When we were ready to purchase the car, we reserved the vehicle online before heading to the dealership. The website provided full transparency with regard to the price, rebates, and financing availability so we knew exactly what we would be paying before we finalized the deal. Michelle and her team offered a competitive value for our trade in vehicle (in line with the carmax and carvana offers we received). All in, we probably spent less than 3 hours total with none of the usual dealer headaches. Troy helped me and I truly cant recommend him enough. I always go into dealerships weary of being lied to or swindled into taking a bad deal just so they make a buck. All of the Planet Hyundai staff work on salary so they arent pressuring to buy something you dont need. Troy was patient with me, and extremely knowledgeable about cars which is hard to find these days at dealerships; most know how to put a soccer mom in a car that has enough seats and is a good color, but if you ask them technical questions they dont know what youre saying. Troy had all the info I needed and more and when he didnt, he asked a coworker immediately. The most important thing to me is not feeling like Im being tricked into something and there were vehicles Troy actively recommended I didnt try because they werent as good of a deal as others or didn’t fit my needs well. The most truthful and non-stressful car shopping experience I’ve ever had. The manager was also very straightforward with me, completely willing to let me finance the vehicle through a bank they arent affiliated with and wasnt worried about making the extra pennies (in their eyes) as long as I got the right vehicle. I spent close to 8 hours at the dealership and Troy never made me feel like I was a burden, although Im sure I was. He even got his lunch delivered while he was working with me and didn’t get to eat it until I left about 6 hours later. That’s commitment to the customer and there is no higher accolade than the refusal of lunch! Definitely ask for Troy when you go to Hyundai. The brand is turning around and the cars are up and coming.
Started the process over the phone and internet with Jose. He gave me a price that was below another dealer and no dealer fee. Went to Golden the next day from Colorado Springs, where Alexa assisted me and got a trade in value and went from there. In and out in a few hours. When they say “no haggle” they really mean it. Excellent service. Even gave me a loaner to get lunch while car was made ready.Long drive but they had the car I wanted where Springs dealers did not. Trip was worth it. No back and forth with sales manager.
Sales Consultant Michelle Tregoning went way above and beyond the call of duty in a multitude of ways that are too numerous to list in one review. She somehow was able to get me a Kona EV despite their great scarcity. As a Minnesota resident, these vehicles are not available, so Michelle helped me with every aspect of the purchase that allowed me to receive my new car in perfect condition - without any hassles - all the way from Denver. WORST service department. I set an appt 3 weeks in advance for a specific date and time for a service. THREE DAYS after getting my car for a few hour service it was 3rd in line to be looked at. It took me 15 phone calls over 24 hours to even get someone to call me back and give me the status of its not been looked at yet. Dont waste your time here! Unreliable, dont communicate, and they really dont care at all when you call. Service Manager and General Manager impossible to get ahold of.
Absolutely love the service department here. They provide a video of step by step of whats wrong with the vehicle as well as providing an easy readable list. The greatest part of them are the people they hire. Dave was absolutely the best. The car is like brand new.

We purchased our second Hyundai this evening. My first Hyundai lasted 10 years so it is not a surprise We considered another Hyundai. This is not to say we didn’t consider some other cars. I was very upfront with Alexa who is the sales person we met when we looked at a used Santa Fe. We had not decided if we wanted to go with a six cylinder like our past Santa Fe or a four-cylinder. We also looked at Subarus, Toyotas and Mazdas but eventually came back to purchase a Hyundai Tucson that was a four-cylinder turbo. Through this entire process Alexa kept in touch with us, but encouraged us to look at the various choicesat other dealers. In addition to not pressuring us, she knew more about the cars then the majority of sales people we contacted with the other dealers. She listened and she worked in our price range. I can’t say the same about some other dealerships. Good salesmanship, good car options and great warranty options sold us our second Honda.

Hello,We were at this dealer on 03/10/21 looking for vehicle for our daughter.Sales Consultant Mr Troy Potter was there to properly greeted us and carefully listen our needs. Mr Troy was very knowledgeable about his existing inventory, so we got great recommendations. Also his knowledge about product was absolutely great. Costumer service was absolutely amazing. Also we meet with Mr Adam Beckmann Sales Manager great person. We did find perfect solution for our daughter and she is very happy.I would definitely recommend this dealership.
In for an oil change that should be covered by service program according to multiple other dealerships i called but wasnt able to get a time that worked for me as Im traveling. This dealership is charging me $49 for the oil change that was part of the service agreement. If I would have been able to get in to my appointment next week at another dealer without going over my 7500 miles I would have gladly done that for a better experience, but now Im stuck here. I tried calling Hyundai but the woman I spoke with kept going on about years and 75,000 miles and telling me my car wasnt covered if I bought it used...it was brand new.If I had known any of this was going to happen I probably would have gone with a different make because Hyundai clearly is clueless. I miss my KIAs.Edit to add: I was quoted $49 by the guy who checked me in and wrote this review while I was waiting. I then got a text message with the inspection info and an updated amount of $74.30. When it was done the guy who checked me in said it was going to be covered because the car has a turbo and that schedule is 6000 miles. Does the service center not know what cars Hyundai sells? I mean, I know there are a lot of trim levels and they service all years, but it might be helpful to have a box on their desk they could look this information up on before being so certain it wasnt going to be covered.

It was my first time car buying and I strongly recommend Anthony Knappe. He is a great car salesman. If I had any concerns or questions he would give me all the answers I needed. I visited Planet Hyundai two weeks ago as I am writing this review. I should have written this review sooner but I got sidetracked oops haha. I ended up taking home a 2020 Hyundai Kona SEL Plus. It fits my budget and I got everything I was looking for in a car. I am pleased with the shopping experience at this dealership. If anyone is looking for a used/new car ask for Anthony Knappe. I worked with Dean to purchase a ioniq plug-in. After comparing around they had the model I was looking for able to drive it and while they were getting it ready they gave me a loaner car so I can get lunch. I appreciate working with Dean and the team there and he was very helpful in the purchase. I also did a good amount of research and the car itself seemed to be the best or close to the best in class and definitely cheaper than the competition.

Just had my 2015 Hyundai Sonata serviced at Planet Hyundai in Golden and as always they left her good as new. I absolutely love how they make a short video showing you what was inspected and what needs attention. I bought the vehicle there and its been a great experience since the beginning. When the Tucson that we were waiting on was delayed for an additional 2 weeks, he took it upon himself to find the exact one that we wanted and had it transferred to Planet Hyundai! Then took the time to go over and pick it up himself! What an outstanding asset to the company and the customer. Find a way to keep him around for as long as the business is open! As for the rest of the experience, just as wonderful as Troy. We were only able to come down to sign in the evening and the staff stayed late to accommodate our needs. This is not always the case with other businesses. If you are looking for a new vehicle, GO HERE!
This was the most untransparent dealership I have been too. Fortunately, they had the vehicle I knew I wanted but the process was less than ideal. The sales member tried to rush the end of the process in order to prepare for another test drive. I had to drill the finance personnel with questions to figure out exactly what they were offering.
Hands down the best car buying experience with Planet Hyundai and Troy! The whole experience was easy, painless and Troy was incredibly helpful, as was his manager Adam. Edited Review. Still disappointed that it is taking 2 to 3 days to look at a car. Should have been told this before I dropped off my vehicle and dont like the way things are explained as a customer. I did check with all of the other dealerships and they are all running backed up.Being put in line once you arrive for your appointment seems like bad business if the line is 2 to 3 days plus.
The service department was great. Scott McGaha was really helpful and informed me of the type of care I have on my vehicle. Im really grateful because I had been given wrong information at a different dealership. His info helped me save money, and who doesnt love that? :) Also, they were able to get me in sooner than some of the other Hyundai dealerships + the washed off my car. Bonus.
Theyve had my car a week and a half and havent done my oil change yet. Matt is worthless. I called him out for not returning my voicemail. I was wrong. He doesnt listen to voicemail in the first place. This is my work vehicle, Ive explained Im hemorrhaging money every day I dont have it. A week and a half for an oil change after waiting 3 weeks for the appointment. Go to a service center that cares. This one doesnt.
I purchased my first car in 2012. Alex the salesman was GREAT!! I think he was promoted several times and every time I went in he made sure I was taken care of. One time I took my car in for service and he got me a loaner. They brought in the car and I was like ouch !!!! He saw what car they wanted me to drive and sent it back and got me a new 2016 to drive. Nice, I bought 2 of those. I also purchased 1 more new car from them. They used to send out gift baskets after buying cars from them. The service department has always been the weakest link in their system. One time I requested for them to change the battery in the key fob and they changed the vehicle battery. . I purchased a service package from them called friends for life. It had many perks and I cant remember them all and neither can they. All in all the dealership has went the wrong direction. I see many of the issues I read in the other reviews, so sad. I was looking for a quick visit today for a safety recall that should take 1 hour to complete. I made an appointment 4 weeks ago and when I brought my car in today they said I would have to leave it all day. Poor planning on their part shouldnt inconvenience me. I could go on for hours with issues I have had, I purchased 5 cars from them but I was always staying positive. But they have went down hill so much I just cant accept this level of service anymore.. I wanted to look at the new sonata HEV today while my car was being serviced and they dont even have any in stock so I have to go elsewhere. OUCH!!GOOD LUCK
This is my fifth Hyundai lease and my second lease from Planet Hyundai. I cant say enough good things about the team there! The experience of leasing a car there was easy, no hassle and just a breeze form beginning to end. Having to take my 2018 Tucson in for the ABS brakes recall service was made so easy by Planet Hyundai from the scheduling to the actual service visit. Living outside their UBER offer, they expedited the service so my wait time was very short. In addition, Scott, one of the service guys, took as much time as I needed for him to explain and remind me of the purpose of some of the buttons on the dash and console.I was very pleased and happy with their service. A few weeks ago I brought my car in for an ongoing problem with my Bluelink. The service department is apparently backed up so when I called to make an appointment it was a month out. When I brought my car in, the service advisor said they would not be able to look at it for 4 or 5 days. So I said I will bring it back in 4 or 5 days and he said no matter when I drop my car off it will be 4 or 5 days before they get to it. What?? After waiting for a month? Ridiculous but I have a 2nd car so I left my Hyndai. But a service tech actually looked at it the same day. Cool. He texted me to ask some questions and I got a few notifications that they were testing my Bluelink. It seemed to be working for them so I texted the service tech and asked if I should come pick up the car since it seemed to be working. No response so I figured they needed to do more testing and would get to it in 4 or 5 days. A week later I call and ask for an update. The service advisor said, oh, I did not know your car was still here. OMG. I had called earlier and while on wait a recording tells you to push one of the buttons and you would not lose your place in line and they would call me back. Dont bother, they do not call you back. A few days after picking up my car I get a text from the service advisor asking me if I was completely satisfied. Ha. I responded that I was not satisfied for the reasons above. No response.
In town for the weekend driving a brand new 21 Sonata SEL with 2000 miles on it 1k of that driving from Chicago. Car started pulling and steering wheel wasn’t straight this dealer and the General Manager made absolutely no effort to try to get my vehicle alignment straight. Told me sorry were swamped 🤷♂️ I own a shop in Chicago and would work my crew late to accommodate a down on their luck out of town customer. THATS Customer service. This dealership and it’s GM are unhelpful and heartless.
Planet Hyundai has changed the way I felt about car buying. Alexa B. was very knowledgeable and helpful throughout my car buying experience. I never felt rushed or pressured. After having bad past experiences with other car dealers, it was nice to leave in my new-used car feeling mostly stress-free (a little stress is expected; I just spent more money than a typical day!) and that I didn’t overpay. Aaron S. really made the finance part bearable as well. I will recommend this place to everyone I know.
Buying a vehicle at Planet Hyundai was honestly how the process should be. The sales people get paid salary plus bonuses for good reviews, not commission. This meant that we were shown a couple vehicles we had not considered that were actually cheaper and a better fit for us. We ended up buying one of those and feeling good about it. They also had a nice make anything coffee machine so bring a a mug.

Dealing with Planet Hyundai themselves was a very easy process. Good price and very little sales tactics. I would avoid working with Ray Hamilton. After I bought the one vehicle I asked for him to price out a second one that day for my daughter who was turning 16. I asked him to email me a price and we will go from there. I never heard from him and that was 2 months ago. Also every email I have ever received from Ray he talks about me buying a Honda from Planet Honda. What? I bought a Hyundai from Planet Hyundai. He seemed interested in completing that sale and being done with me. Will use Planet Hyundai again. Will not use Ray Hamilton again.

I was hoping to address this more privately, but apparently the GM cant be bothered to check his email.The first I was in for service time seemed routine, but I do not believe the service advisor, Levi, listened to the full extent of the issues I was having with my vehicle. He pointed to something else being the issue that I am not even sure was related to what I was describing (which was a rough idle at low speeds or stopping).This issue continued after I left and got worse, which was bad as I was on a road trip and could have been stranded without phone signal after being ASSURED my car was in 100% good condition.So, I brought it back. To their credit, the service advisors did get me in for an appointment the next day. After assuring me Id know more by Tuesday afternoon (June 22, 2021), I left. I called back twice directly to Matt Hawley in the late afternoon and texted for an update and received no response or callback from the general line either.The next morning, I directly tried Matt again. No response. After waiting for a callback on the general line, they assured me he would get back to me ASAP. He did not. I had to call again - twice.When he finally answered, he let me know they had figured out what to fix on my car and that it would be $670 with no labor or parts discount despite the fact they missed the issue the first time, opening me up to potential harm on the road.I called again to make sure my car was done, like Matt said it would be, before arranging a ride to pick it up. There was, again, no answer. So imagine my surprise when I walked in to find Matt, sitting at his desk next to the phone, chatting casually and shuffling a deck of cards with a fellow employee.After that, Matt continued to be condescending while talking to me about the issue on my car.Not only did they completely miss the issue that could have been a real danger to me on the road, their complete lack of professionalism in updating me on my cars progress and me having to repeatedly call to try to get answers is unacceptable and rude. Take your car to a different dealer!
My car had a couple issues needing repaired. Planet Hyundai took a few days to diagnose it and repair it. Due to COVID-19 and other unforeseen circumstances, it took a bit longer, but was worth it. My car runs much better now. I would definitely recommend Planet Hyundai and will have my repairs done there from now. They kept me updated and were nice as they put their customers first.

I am in the customer service industry and I felt it was important to personally reach out to you about two of your employees.I am a weird human and like the challenge of buying and selling cars. I feel like I have to get my game face on and be ruthless in these dealings. This change for me recently. I did my research on the Santa Fe and knew I was going to get the 2021 SEL w Premium package. After looking from Wyoming down to the Springs, it looked like you had the best prices. I drove in one evening in June and got my “gameface” on. When I walked in, I was pleasantly greeted by Vanessa Tiscareno-Salas. I was convinced she was faking being nice and trying to “pry” information from me. Ultimately, come to find out…she really was kind and was asking probing questions to see how best to help me. It threw me off hahaha. I left pondering what the gimmick was but excited about the price…that wasn’t being changed on me. I went to Arapahoe Hyundai and realized I stepped into a time machine where I felt like I was on a used car lot in the 80’s. The word to sum up my experience there was “scummy”. In fact, the manager refused to give me back my own vehicles keys so he could keep trying to sell me.Anyways, Vanessa followed up with me and I purchased the Santa Fe from her. She was courteous of my time, taught me all about the vehicle and gave me hope about the car industry. Then I was sent to work with Aaron Schmitt on financing. I thought…here it comes…this is how they are going to get me. Instead, we had great conversations about our families and he made sure that I understood every aspect about the purchase and financing. I also had an urgent work email I needed to do and he graciously let me use his computer to take care of it. WOW!I drove away happily in my new Santa Fe and was amazed at the interactions I had with the two of them. My family and I absolutely love our vehicle and in fact we loved it so much that we bought another Santa Fe today from Vanessa and Aaron. I truly felt like we started a friendship.Jaime, I am a GM and have over 100 employees. I know how important feedback, both positive and constructive are. Our experience at Planet Hyundai was wonderful! Jose was amazing to work with! We test drove 3 cars and he answered all of our questions. After our purchase we had a hiccup with the car. Jose returned our call on a Sunday. I would highly recommend Planet Hyundai and especially Jose!
Bought a Kona EV here. The experience was great. I knew what I wanted and what to expect from financing from the web page in advance of my appointment. Vanessa set me up with a test drive and did a good job explaining features of the car to me. I would gladly recommend Planet Hyundai to a friend or colleague.
Bought a car about two months ago and have nothing but issues. They say that they are NOT a get what you get kind of dealership anymore but that isnt true. I told them the moment I drove away what issues I was having and when they got it in, they changed something on it that didnt need repaired and didnt fix the issues that needed to be fixed. I call often and tell them the issues and brought it in but they wouldnt actually look at it and figure out the issues. They said because they didnt hear the noise on the 5 min test drive that it wasnt anything.I keep telling them about the several issues that are wrong with it and that the warranty should be covering the repairs or that I will take it to my own mechanic and bill them. They informed me that its not going to happen. Im so irritated at the lack of professionalism and wonder if its because Im a women that they feel that they can take advantage of me. I wouldnt buy from them or recommend them to anyone.

Save yourself the frustration and buy elsewhere. I got a good deal on a car, but everything else has been a big headache. They gave me a broken key, and was supposed to replace it when I picked up my car. It wasnt ready, so I had to drive back across town to pick it up. Then it was time to get plates for my car. Upon purchase (cash), I did not receive my title. Before going to the DMV to get plates I called the dealership to express concern about not having my title, but they assured me I could still pick them up. They lied, again.I still dont have my title (1+ mo after purchase), no one will return my calls, my temp plates are expiring, and Im left trying to figure out how to rectify the situation before I get a ticket for expired plates. THANKS PLANET HYUNDAI!!!

The repair of our 2016 Tucson.. for recalls created a problem with the transmission. We never had any hesitation in 45,000 miles. We gifted the car to our son who took it from the dealership directly to Bozeman, Montana. I did not have an opportunity to drive the car.. nor was there a reason to as it had just been repaired. Now he has a car that has a transmission issue in a city that does not have a Hyundai dealership. The closest is over 100 miles away.This is a real problem. That same day we picked up a new 2022 Tucson Hybrid, LTD. our 7th Hyundai.. We need help. Darrell L. Jansa
Best place ever! More than grateful to have had an amazing team starting with my sales associate Jamal and then Adam helping and Jose ending the night. But let me explain how well Jamal handled my whole purchase from the start to end! He helped work with my payments and trade in value on my car! Then took his time and helped find the best option for me that would benefit them as well. It was smoothly done, i came prepared & so did the staff! Loved it and to end my night with the finance staff, had a young lady and she made the transaction smooth as possible and also made me feel very comfortable & even more happy about the new car! Went in for an oil change. Sat in the same chair in the wait room for almost 2 hours. I finally went down to the service desk to ask about the delay. I was told by my rep he checked the hour previous and couldnt find me in a twenty by twenty-foot room where I had been the entire time. He also texted my home number. When I said it was impossible, his story remained. Didnt appreciate being lied to.

My partner and I just completed a trade-in for a new Hyundai Elantra.Troy was a pleasure to work with. We got a much better offer for the trade-in than wed received from other dealerships, which made us feel appreciated for the effort we put into keeping our vehicles in top condition. He went out of his way to ensure we got just the car we were looking for, and we couldnt be happier. We hadnt considered buying up to this trim level before, but were very glad we did.The new redesign for the Elantra this year is great to see. The lines and edges are sharp and eye-catching. Were very impressed with the amount of difference the N-Line has in performance and quality of drive over previous models, and surprised at how little a difference it made in the final price point. Definitely worth the upgrade. Also, that orange color is just slick. Such a nice change of pace from the black/white/silver humdrum everywhere, and really orange does not do this paint job justice. Its a range of shades depending on the lighting and viewing angle, and all of them are hot. You have to see it for yourself to really appreciate it.When we realized wed forgotten one of the upgrade items wed gone for, Troy was quick to make sure we got in and out with our add-on without any hassle or runaround. The clear-coat protection for the front of the vehicle is practically invisible, and adds a lot of peace of mind when driving around this area, where a rock pinging off your hood is almost guaranteed.Ill definitely be bringing other friends and acquaintances back to the Planet Hyundai dealership and sending them Troys way in the future.
Quick, easy, patient, and friendly. I did not once feel overlooked or undermined when I was speaking to Scott or asking (millions of) questions about my vehicle. My issue was resolved but what sticks with me now is the friendliness and welcome I was treated with. Will definitely recommend and revisit for anything else!

Very friendly salesperson. This is a no - haggle dealership, which I prefer versus the old way of starting with an inflated sticker price and a few rounds of negotiations. They also have a five - day sale cancellation policy which is rather unique! I would do business with them again.

I have a brand new Hyundai that needs some service under warranty. They want to keep it for few days but do not provide a loaner vehicle. I do not think this is right.
So far Ive only dealt with their sales department, but they were amazing. Their sales staff is salary, so they had zero pressure and just wanted to be helpful whether or not I was going to buy from them. I would definitely recommend at least visiting them.
Just upgraded from 2007 to 2020 Santa Fe. Had the best sales representative. He was very nice. Financing and paperwork was fast.Will definitely be back to upgrade our 2nd vehicle.
