Best place in downtown Goldsboro for a drink

With both rotating beers on tap and a stock of bottles to purchase and take with you, this is a wonderful joint to grab a beer (or several)!All of the paintings/decorations are originals and hand-picked with care to create a one-of-a-kind artsy but not uppity atmosphere. Plus, there are two nice one person bathrooms. Its easy access downtown with lots of parking and a roped smoking area outside. Our group had pizza delivered which made the experience all the better.The two gentlemen who own the bar/store are quite knowledgeable about beer and will help you find one to suit your tastes.Oh, and apparently they also host movie nights!Highly recommend checking this place out.

Great selection of drinks and friendly atmosphere

This is my favorite bar! It is the perfect place to go to try different craft beers. They rotate small kegs constantly, so there is always something new. The bartenders are welcoming, kind, and knowledgeable. I always put together a six pack from the awesome bottle selection before I leave.

Great selections!! They literally have so much to choose from and are so helpful leading you in the right direction if you arent sure what to try. They offer samples and always encourage you to try before you buy. Great atmosphere, awesome staff. Loved seeing Wicked Weed selections, as it is a favorite brewery of mine from when I lived in Asheville.

Friendly staff and always a changing selection of fresh beers in stock and great brews on tap. Recommend joining the monthly beer club as well.

This place is so cool. One of my favorite places to go in Goldsboro. Highly recommend your attendance here the staff (owners) are so awesome too. They have such a good crowd here that I always have fun with. They also have beers you can buy and bring home in custom mix packs! They do it right here, give it a try, just know it will cost you more money than a regular bar for beer but its micro brews so its to be expected!

It doesnt get any better than WTB. This is our favorite spot in Eastern NC. Weve been huge fans of this place since discovering it a couple years ago. We live in Wilson, so this is a 30+ minute drive for us. Still, we make it a point to get here at least once per month. And even though were not regulars, Sam and John know our names and make us feel so welcome for every visit. They have the best and most unique bottle selection in the area. Thats because they work hard at what they do and theyre good at it. I would put their bottle selection up against any bottle shop in Raleigh. The atmosphere is amazing and they always have a unique selection on tap. I cant say enough good things about the space, but the only thing better than the space are the people. These guys are great.

This is hands down my favorite place in Goldsboro. Sam and John have done such an amazing job providing the community with a wonderful spot to have fun and relax. I have spent countless nights here drinking and laughing with friends and hope to continue to do so for many years to come.

Good place for conversation with friends & trying out a variety of beers & wines. Also, Sam & John treat the crowd to a movie on the last Sunday of the month @ around 6 - 7pm.The first Friday of the month is Heavy Metal Night from midnight to 2:00am.

This place is the best! Well Travelled gets better all the time! The owners, Sam and John, work hard to continuously provide something new to downtown. They are great guys running a great, funky little shop. Kid and dog friendly! Even if you dont drink beer, stop in for a soda, look around, and enjoy the atmosphere! Theres always someone interesting to talk to; you never know who you might meet!

Everyone here is so nice and there is a very laid back atmosphere that makes you want to come back time and time again. They have a pretty wide selection of beer and lagers available. They have specials on certain kinds a lot of the time. The owners are super helpful and make it a point to get to know you and treat you like one of their own. I would definitely recommend.

Great place friendly service

A bottle store and bar all in one...kid friendly and pet friendly! They offer a rotating 8 taps of various beers and ciders, a wine selection and refrigerator full of specialty brews. Seating for 10 at the bar and small tables and nooks scattered throughout, makes for an intimate experience. This is the ideal location to sit back and have a few and try something new! I recommend this to everyone.

Craft beer at its best! Dog friendly. Staff was nice and helpful. Clean relaxed environment. Parking was easy to find. Prices are reasonable for quality sold.

Amazing in-store bottle selection; you get 20% off if you get the beer to go. Usually about 8-9 draft selections but usually I always like at least one of them...bottles to go is where its at..they have selections from all over the world....owners are super nice and the place had an edgy, interesting, and unique / fun feel. They played all my song requests and are always accommodating... MUST do and see in Goldsboro. Very nice place! Great patio section out front. 👏🏼

Super cool dudes who own this place, really well curated selection of beers on tap, including sours, barley wines and high volume beers. Industrial vibe with exposed brick and pallets mounted on the wall. Theyll even take song requests to play making it feel like a great neighborhood bar and place to hang out no matter what the time of day or day of the week. If theres one spot in town to stop for a break this in it.

Great place to hang out and just chill. If you like somewhere thats low key and unique then this is your place. Their on tap menu changes frequently and theyve got beers (and wines) for all tastes. You can also go in and purchase beers that you likely wont find elsewhere. Its a real friendly, welcoming environment. Sam and John do a fantastic job. Theres parking right in front of the building. Kids are welcome. They often have events, for instance, BYOV (bring your own vinyl) night, Movie Night and Potluck, Metal Midnight, morning yoga. I recommend trying it *at least* once.

Probably the best place to drink beer in Goldsboro. Small town bar that feels like a big city hang out. Great selection of bottles and wine, rotating draft (and if you dont like anything on tap, then there is a whole fridge of cans and bottles to choose from). Owners are very knowledgeable and laid back and will match your beer and wine taste to almost anything they on stock. If your hesitant just go, you wont be disappointed! And if you have a dog you better bring him or her!

Zombie Killer is my favorite Ive sampled. Been twice and theyve had this both times!Decent selection of bottles to choose from and the craft brew junkie will have enough for a fix. Even for its small space, theres enough options.Bottle shop pubs tend to cater to a specific crowd (professionals/no riffraff) and I get that sense here. Its laid back however and a great place to stop in for a few. Staff does a good job.Can bring food, order delivery, and bring your furry four-legged friend!Dont get to Goldsboro much, but Well Travelled is a destination spot for Goldsboro and a great addition to the revamped downtown area of Center and John streets.Keep doing what youre doing!

The guys that own the place are down to earth, obviously very knowledgeable on beer, and fun to chat with, as well have good tastes in music they play. They have yoga on the weekends and they bring in a box of delicious doughnuts on Thursdays. Hate to be moving away from this place!

My friend and I recently discovered this jewl in downtown Goldsboro. We had a girls night and went to dinner and followed it up with drinks. The atmosphere is unique in that you are surrounded by beers from all over the world. Its hipster and really fun. I know for a fact that they give back to the community which is a plus. They also offer card games to play while enjoying a unique beverage. Kid friendly and pet friendly! A great place to spend your evening!
