Yes you can find things cheaper, but those pennies youll save arent worth the noticable decline in product quality found here. The environment in this location is 2nd to none. This is the Cleanest food store in eastern NC. This particular Harris Teeter location, along with the majority of them, give meaning to the phrase, you get what you pay for .

Ordered a birthday cake over the weekend and I was ASSURED it will be ready for pickup today after 4:00pm ; went to pickup the cake only to be told oops sorry the woman who makes the cakes went home and she didnt make your cake. Well, thank you Harris Teeter. Thank you irresponsible employee. Now, I have a party with NO birthday cake. They slapped one together which is so obvious. I cant bring this to the party. The manager did feel terrible about his irresponsible employee so he did not charge me for the cake - as he shouldnt since it was slapped together and nowhere near what I had ordered. I will NEVER order another cake from here. If you *do* order a cake make sure you take a picture of the order they write down (they wont give you a copy so I ask to take a picture so I have proof it was ordered.) If you *really*. need the cake for a party I wouldnt take a chance. Terrible service. Luckily there are other options in the area.

This place really is terrible. It’s clean, well stocked and has staff BUT things CONSTANTLY ring wrong. Takes them forever to fix mistakes on pricing (which is already substantially higher than other grocery stores). Some of the staff (I would assume managers) are inclined to nearly argue with you about trying to get things fixed. As I write this I have been waiting over 5 minutes for one of these staff to go hunt for a tag of a product I’m not sure she knows where to find. They are just terrible retailers in good stores. This happens to me about 3rd trip in. If they weren’t 2 blocks from my home I’d write them off all together.

I always know a Harris Teeter store will be top notch, and this one continues that. Good prices, great selection, and the hot baked chicken I got from the deli for lunch was outstanding. Harris Teeter is definitely my grocer of choice!

This is your typical Harris Teeter grocery store. They carry the same things as other Harris Teeter grocery stores. They also carry items that other grocery store chains do not carry. They carry a lot of locally made items too. Its a large store and they also have a gas station. I was able to find an item Id been looking for at other stores. The cashier we had was friendly. We didnt encounter any other employees today. The store was neat and well organized.

This grocery store is huge, immaculate, and very well stocked with the freshest food and ingredients. At first, I was a little nervous to shop here because I thought they were much more expensive than the typical Walmart or Food Lion prices. I was pleasantly surprised to see that I was wrong. The only items that seemed to be a tad more pricey were the meats, but the quality of the meat was also better so I was fine with that. Everything else was basically priced the same as any other grocery store. The staff were incredibly nice, too. We will definitely be coming here from now on instead of Walmart, which we have had to deal with since moving to the area last August.

Very bad service. A lot of out of date products, expired. Deli closes earlier than they are supposed to. Claiming lack of customer traffic. Well I drove 15 minutes there just for the deli meat.

I love shopping here! Its always well kept and fully stocked with the items I seek! Yes its a bit more pricey than the nearest food lion but Ill buy quality over saving pennies! All of the employees are always helpful & friendly (well except that one girl Erin - I believe to be correct at the fueling station boy oh boy was she the meanest Character - she thought our car was still running - but in fact we always turn off our car so that the gauge will read properly & not to mention safety. Anyways she yells through the mic on the pump we chose to turn off our vehicle my husband replies its off, & then again she yells into the mic TURN OFF YOUR CAR OR I WILL NOT TURN ON YOUR PUMP, so again my husband replies its off, I always pump with the car off! She speaks again saying shell let it slide this one time. Im thinking let what slide wth is her problem, it was such a bizarre experience! But we absolutely adore Preston over in the grocery store; my husband left his phone on the countertop there one night & Preston realized & ran all the way to our car just to be sure he gave it back to us. Not many honest people left around here so it was such a surprise to see that. Preston is always so kind to everyone he greets! Oh if you like mangos try their brand of frozen mangos to snack on sooo yummy! 😄

Overall considering its in Goldsboro its a good grocery store by comparison. But compared to literally every other Harris Teeter Ive been to this one has by far the worst customer service. I guess its allowed because its in Goldsboro but seriously I dont think employees would get away with treating customers the way they do at this location at any other Harris Teeter.

The best quality and cut meats,and large variety of healthy and regular groceries. Prices are extremely reasonable especially considering the quality.

I love Harris Teeter. Every location they ever have is amazing. They have samples throughout the store. The fresh meat selection is awesome. I love to get sushi and subs from there. I like to get a roast beef and Swiss sub from there on the lunch pack. It taste so good to me. I love the way they make their California roll sushi.

The employee Bridget is the rudest person around. You cannot even go in the bakery area without her copping an attitude and treating customers and employees horribly. I have witnessed her on more than one occasion yelling at employees and customers but when you go to management they do nothing. Talk about having something on someone to keep your job. She is the reason why so many customers and employees leave. WAKE UP Harris Teeter get rid of your troublemakers and stop covering up for them. This store needs some re arranging for sure.
