The employees are always very polite and I enjoy shopping there. I just wish the lines werent always so long to check out. Even the self check-out line usually is going back towards the deli. Other than that no complaints

My favorite store for many reasons.Always kept clean and well stocked.Prices are best if you use the app and save a lot so take advantage of that when ever you can.Plus earning gas points is always good.Also the broader selections of organic food and the meats looks great every time so I know I’m getting good cuts at the butcher.And it’s never like other stores where it’s over crowded causing you to get overwhelmed.

Nice clean store a little pricey but nice

This store seems to have trouble opening on time. There is consistently a line of people waiting 5 minutes before open. The doors arent open until 5-10 minutes after that time. Perhaps they need to change the store hours.

Always a friendly staff. Produce is fresh and they are always well stocked across the board. Plus a Starbucks inside has never hurt any store!

This location is always clean and inviting when I come here, which is super positive! Everything is easy to find and there are always good deals to find if you are apart of their rewards club. (Its free) Handicap parking available. Glacier 5 gallon water fillers out front. Highly recommend.

Starbucks line takes forever. They only have 1 person working and bless her heart, she works hard, but the customer demand requires additional workers. They need to re-evaulate sales and staff additional people in the AM to meet the demand. The customer experience should be number 1. The sales reflect additional expenditures for staffing. The employee workload and the salary they are offered deserve additional help to meet the demand. This is a reflection of Safeway as they have a partnership with Starbucks.

Part 2: I asked for parsley root and that some should come in by Saturday June 12 but I called on Thursday to see if it may have arrived earlier and one of the staff said yes. When I arrived, I couldnt find it. I asked the person working produce where was the parsley root that came in and he took me to the parsnip root. Im like there is a difference between parsnip and parsley and I needed parsley root with the parsley leaves on top. You do have parsley leaves but I also need the root. I ended up ordering through a produce wholesaler because other competition could not get the parsley root either. I got a case of 12 beautiful bunches that came in from California and only took 4 days to arrive. I, in turn, was able to share with my terminally ill brother-in-law a parsley root bouquet for Fathers Day. I swear, they all thought this is was the best gift. Next time, instead of dinner, Im to order a pizza and bring more parsley root.Part 2: What is up with the supplier of horseradish? Of course you can grow horseradish with just the top part that they cut off but why just supply the bottom ¾ of the horseradish. Im not going to waist my time trying to grow more. Also, why oh why, does the store treat the horseradish root as something that is allowed to be kept dry like potatoes; ok, I know that it is kept in the cooler but horseradish needs to be treated like carrots, parsnip, parsley root, radishes, and beets. Fresh horseradish is just that fresh & not drying out. Fresh horseradish is much easier to grate & taste so much better. It keeps a long time, just first wrap it in a moist paper towel and use as needed. Grate the whole thing to preserve it as a spread or add it to mayo/mustard. A little in soup is great especially white borscht (we traditionally serve every Easter). The horseradish root from this supplier, well, it doesnt have the same kick that normal horseradish does, whats worse, I find that some radishes have a better kick than this horseradish, though short lived. I cant true blame the store for drying out the horseradish, this is how it arrives. What all store can do it to store it how it should be, maybe more would get sold.

As usual Safeway, was very clean an well stocked. The fresh produce was beautiful, the butcher case was stocked with lovely cuts of fine beef.

About the best of all grocery stores. They have good quality meats like London Broil that most other deli s do not. Not as pricy as Target.

Val, our cashier, had us waiting for 10-15 minutes and never even acknowledged us standing in line. She never greeted us, never said thank you, barely even looked at us! A supervisor had to help her with the previous customer for a simple fix that should have taken 10 seconds. She just didnt care about customer service...

This location is the closest Safeway in my area. There is a closer Albertsons, but the selection here is much better than the Albertsons out in Avondale.This is a good store. Full stop.Good selection, shopping is good, and service is on par with every other grocery store in range.We intend to use this location as our primary shop from here on out, and I can tell you that is primarily because the bakery can actually bake bread that tastes good. We have like 3 Frys close to us and the bread is no good.Both the Albertsons out at like Indian school and Dysart and this Safeway know how to make breadI appreciated the options available, and I thought the whole shop was well lit and clean. We will be back again and again.(Be afraid)

The new and improved remodel store and estrella parkway looks very nice. My favorite is the flowers section. Some times the flowers here are 2 dollars more expensive than Frys store but the have better selection
