Im giving one Star for the fact there is no mandatory leash policy for dogs umpteen many times have I had to pick my big dog and little dog up because there are dogs running around loose that have tried to attack my dog on a leash. Not only a risk to other dogs but to children and adults.

Love that place

Great Marina I like how they have a little lawn area for a picnic table and grill for each of their slips. Everybody in the marina seems like one big family and they are pet friendly. If youre looking for a season slip I would not recommend any other place than this. Only downfall is if you dont know how to get into the marina its a little complicated.

Worst marina on the lake. No amenities at all and very high price you get nothing more than power and Water no hep docking docks in bad repair 1/2 mile walk to get to laundry facility and to get where a cab can pick you up Not customer friendly at all

What a dump. So sad to see how far this once beautiful state-of-the-art Marina Has Fallen. Trash everywhere, as you walk around no one bothers to ask you if you need help. No need to go back here ever again.

I have stored my boat here for three Winters and the team here does a great job taking care of it and maintaining it. The facility is top-notch and the staff is friendly and very helpful

Love the area, its always nice and clean. Also filled with a lot of great people. Very kid friendly with a indoor pool and playset.

Perfect location. Easy access to Grand River, Spring Lake and Lake Michigan. Grand Haven has a lot of good restaurants and things to do.

Fun place. Fun People. Great location. Infrastructure is old and needs attention. Toilets are often plugged on the busier weekends. This place only has about 5 or 6 mens toilets for the ENTIRE marina that can easlily have more than 200-300 men on any given weekend. Additionally, the toilets are very old residential style and not even power assist. Main bathroom is hot and not air conditioned.

Upgrades to the marina (for the boaters that slip here) that have been promised since Safe Harbor took over are pushed back again. Still no lounge so you stuck on your boat or at the pool when it rains.

Weather in a little iffy but still having a great time with great friends at Grand Isle Marina had a great boat ride Saturday with a lot of good friends would do it again anytime

I love Grand Isle. Ive grown up at this marina and it has a certain charm that I have never been able to nail down in words accurately.Cant say enough good things about it - from the service staff to the cleanliness of the facilities, this marina is everything I need.

A great place to rent a slip for you boat.

My experience with Grand Isle was very poor. Their pricing was more than double of what North Shore Marina was for the remaining month and a half of the season. They also base their pricing on the make and model of the vessel, not the length and width. I cannot confirm that this means the more expensive boats will have a more expensive slip, but it seems very odd to me. The girls on the phone seem very friendly, but have no authority to make any decisions when pricing long term dockage. Because of this they are the middle man to the General Manager, who does not seem to have time to call anyone back or for that matter want to pick up the phone and talk to a potential customer if one were to call. After waiting for him to call me back twice and never recieving a call back, I finally got a hold of him when we were about an hour out from port while delivering a brand new boat for my dad. He told me it was not the name your price show when I offered to pay $1200 for the 55 nights of the remaining season. He then proceeded to tell me that he did not want our business and then hung up on me. I certainly can understand the frustration that he may have had by having a customer call and want to talk to him multiple times, however if he had taken the time to have a conversation the first time I called rather than push his work off on a secretary, my experience surely would have been more pleasant. However as for me and my household, we will be staying at North Shore Marina or Barret Marina from here on out.
