Nice remote check in on your phone as you arrive. The place is still still set up for covid like no contact if you want that. They will add you to a list and call you in when ready after registration so you dont have to wait inside. Im always surprised at how many people are in this place, Ive had to come in to a store maybe three times in 10 years as a customer. This place is popular inside. They do have lots of goodies.

Slow due to few reps, i can deal with that. Hiwever, when you are there for almost 2.5 hrs and there is no public restroom! Its heat indexed at 103 degrees and the guy says you have to walk across to Freddys, there are maybe 10 chairs toos theoughout their whole building and about 35 people in there....... Just for a rep to look at your phone for 5 min and say ya idk its going to cost you 240$ to file an insurance claim well after you already pay 30$ a month for their total coverage insurance plus about 350$ more per month just for the service........ Pass im thinking its time to switch carriers. Verizon is the epitome of insanity!

Had an appointment got helped right away that was the only reason for one star. They lied 2 me x2. Rushed us out of there because it was 730 and they closed at 8. Then do what u got told to do and had to go back a 2nd day thought they took care of everything for us. Well we were wrong got a tex message the next day to state differently. Will never go back here!

I understand business are going through difficult time right know and that are trying to do their best but I am not sure this place is one of them. I have try to call and schedule appointment no answer I understand high call volume unable to leave message then I go in person and schedule appointment I got one then I show up only to be told I have to wait and get call that is it what is the point.

Dont go here if youre in a hurry. They have a few great and helpful employees, but youll be waiting quite a while even for simple tasks or questions. Customer service is not great. Ive had several poor experiences here. They do not value your time.

It was the worst experience when you ask questions and employee doesnt know the answers and Manager Maria approaches but Manager doesnt know the answers to my questions and have to rely on customer service to answer questions when Manager suppose to know the answers so should be manager. Maria kick me out of the store in grand island because I ask questions she even moving her hand like I was a dog. she doesnt even know to answer my questions neither treat a customer I would recommend to check video cameras instead of saying I will find out or accepting tu hat she doest know she said Im gonna ask you to leave the store because been the manager with that attitude is no good I disconnect 3 of my phones and about to disconnect the last two because Im as a customer deserve some respect not to be treated like they are own the store

Went in to buy a tablet, ended up not only doing that, but switching to Verizon from US Cellular. Better deal all around, and the sales guy, Derek Lemburg, was very knowledgeable and personable. In the end, my bill was reduced by 50% when switching. Also, Verizon has a great discount for military members and veterans!

The store is clean and well organized. Staff is knowledgeable and can answer most questions . My only real complaint is the wait. If you walk in or schedule an appointment you still have to wait awhile. Last time I made an appointment, I had to wait 20 minutes. While others who came in after me with no appointments got waited on ahead of me. When I asked about this they said it was because the person I was scheduled with was busy. Now I dont make appointments.

Dan was very very helpful. He was extremely patient and knowledgeable. He showed me everything that I wanted and was very honest about the products. He took time to take the different cases out of the boxes so I can look at them and compare them. He never once made me feel rushed or inadequate. I felt like everything was covered that I needed and he also pointed out that I could always call him at any time and gave me his personal card.

The staff seem really friendly, but at the end of the day, Verizons system is broken. I can appreciate what they are trying to do with checking people in and then having you browse and wait for assistance. However, I had a couple simple questions about a charger. I waited forty minutes to discover I was still fidth in line to be assisted. Very frustrating.

My phone had been acting up so I was considering doing some comparison shopping as I didnt have a contract anymore but was still using Verizon as my service provider. Before I had the chance, my phone died. EEK! I went to Verizon in Grand Island, NE in a panic because all my info was then locked away. Their Solution Speciaist, Galen Quick, lived up to his name and title, by solving all my problems quickly and is the reason I will continue to be a Verizon customer. What an asset that young man is to your company!!

The store employees are friendly and helpful but the store is understaffed and the wait times are horrible. Over 45 minutes into a 15 minute wait and the line continues to grow. Frustrating that it takes this long to simply add data to a prepaid hotspot I need for an upcoming event.

I hate this place checked in. Watched 5 associates walk around with notebooks for 20 minutes and then take people who came in after us. Asked why ......they said we were not in the system asked who sent the text that said we were next in line. Couldnt answer. In fairness at this point I was angry enough to walk out forever and thats what I did.

My son went to this store with a problem with his LG G2. All the employee wanted to do was sell him a new phone. She looked at it with a magnifying glass and said his warrantee was void and he had to by a new phone. There was no damage to the phone. She then proceeded to tell him to call customer service, well how can he do that if his phone doesnt work. This stores customer service is horrible. Its sell, sell, sell instead of good customer service to help a person. This is not the first time this stores customer service has treated my son and wife badly. He finally had to drive to Omaha to get his phone taken care of.

Updated.... Please read. I give GI location 0 ⭐️My phone was locked and it was there fault because when my phone was made and put together I was never given a password. I asked them for help and if I could talk to the guy that made our phones and they kept making me look like the bad guy asking me What is your password? Over and over and saying I wasted my trip up here and I should call Google. The young customer service lady was texting in front of everyone and not working and would not help me. I told them I could go back to Hastings and they would help me. They said negative things about the Hastings location like they cant do it either when Hastings location did the job great and fixed my phone. Worst experience ever and humiliated when they messed up on the phone and would not admit to it. I hope the head person reads this and sees that there staff is rude and does not care about customer service and are lazy people who need to get fired. Future Version customers do not waist your time on jerks who hurt people like them go get great service at Hastings were they fixed my phoneRecent update Aug 21stI went to Verizon in Hastings were John helped me and once again top of the line 10/10 customer service. I had another issue a big one. My sales rep who knows nothing Im talking about Grand Island the one on Highway 281 close to the mall. When I got my phone it had a protective waterproof screen protector. I called them up they said we are sorry to hear that and that I did not buy that LifeProof Waterproof screen protector. They were not going to help me the sales man said try taking pictures under water so I did the salesman and I found it was defective but still Grand Island would not do a damn thing even though it was there fault the screen was defective and my phone is shot and Im out of 100s of dollars and had to get a new phone. In GI they took advantage of me and threw me to the curb twice. If I could give them a -10/10 thats negative I would. They do not know a damn thing about kindness and customer service. I hope cooperate closes them down. The hell with them sorry Im mad but I have a good one. But thanks for all the great help from the Hastings location.

Verizon has excellent coverage area in central Nebraska but this store is horrible. I added a basic phone for one of my kids. The individual that I talked to while doing this had wrote everything out that showed what my monthly charges would be. Only problem with that was he was off by $20 per month. Doesnt sound like much until you figure that is for the next two years. Now thats a $480 mistake that I have to pay for because someone else didnt do their job right. I did go in and speck with the same person with the paper he wrote everything on and after an hour all they could do was credit me $20 once(which I never did get). The only thing this store cares about it getting the sale. This is not the only store in town if you want Verizon.
