Best shoe store I have ever used. People are very helpful and friendly. I wish I had known about them years ago.

Went in for the cobbler but was informed that they had retired recently. Sales person gave me the card for a cobbler that had purchased the equipment. Salesperson did a great job with measuring foot size/shape, and recommending work boots based on what I was looking for. Large assortment of footwear including extra wide, American made, oil-resistant, etc. Will definitely be returning for more footwear services as needed.

Erika worked very hard to find sandals and shoes for my wife today. She made helpful suggestions and brought out at least 15 different options. Her attention to detail was outstanding. Mieras is alway excellent but today Erika raised the bar on service.

My husband has very hard difficult time finds shoes that are comfortable because of his high arches and toe issues. Thanks to the wonderful customer service at Meiras he was able to find not one, but two pair of shoes that not only worked with his feet but were fashionable as well.They have a wide selection of shoes for men, women, and children. Obviously a great store with how busy they were! We will be back :)

Hubby and I stopped in for a good pair of work boots for him and they dont carry the kind he likes, so we got directed to their other store on plainfield... Which was a very quaint store...I recommend mieras and red wings on plainfield

I dont live close to this store, but I have heard they have a shoe repair. I have a pair of shoes in need of new heel plates, so I headed over. The shoe repair dept is closed for a few weeks so he can catch up, but they dont have anything posted on their website saying this. I suggested that they might do that so people dont drive 20 minutes or more to get here for shoe repairs... The woman at the counter said Oh, we just put shoes on the site, nothing else. Really?? Anyone who wants shoes repaired may want to call before heading to Mieras to see if theyre up for any business.

I was trying to see the price of baby shoes on line becouse i did not want to spend a lot of time looking at what they cost . i like useing cash and with out knowing how much to bring i wont shop there

This is the only full service shoe store in the area that I know of. I try to always check here first to see if they have what we need. The customer service is outstanding. They are also very patient. I now have wide feet, and consider it very difficult to find a pair of shoes that feels good and fits right, and they are always very gracious when I have a return. The salespeople always do their best to solve my fit problems. Would highly recommend to anyone.

To be honest, I just went in because its hard to tell what shoes fit from online and was pleasantly surprised to find the price was EXACTLY the best price I could find online at Zappos, Amazon, and anywhere that I spent considerable time looking at. I cant say thats true for all shoes but that was my experience today. Plus, someone was waiting on me. The selection was great also. I also thought, if I do find a better price online, is the difference more than Id tip a waiter for dinner? It turned out to be a great experience for me. It cost me nothing to shop locally.Im not financially or familiarly associated with Miras.

We couldnt have asked for better, more friendly service. My sister has some physical challenges and they worked hard to find the right shoes that fit over a leg/foot brace at a price that would fit her budget. Huge shout out to Scott and Mrs. Scott for all they did for us today.

I took my 3 year old grandson to by shoes and the service was excellent. The lady who fitted him for his shoes was very good with him. He wears a double wide and its difficult to find this size in a store. This is a great family owned, local business. I dont know of any other shoe stores in the area like this.

Walked in every one was busy with a customer but were greeted upon entry and were told theyd be with us soon. Helped out within 5 minutes of being in the store. We looking for work boots. Got shown exactly where to look. Told us which ones they sold more often and then brought out two choices that we chose. My husband decided which he liked best but were told they were not water proofso he treated them for free to make them water resistant. Great little family owned store. Excellent customer service.

The only place I go for shoes. They have a huge variety of quality shoes and since Im on my feet all the time I need good shoes for work. They carry the SAS brand which is all I buy and the people give quality service and are very friendly and knowledgeable

I recently went to Mieras family shoes and worked with a gentlemen by the name of Jordan. He was very attentive and listened to everything I was looking for. I was greated with a welcome right at the door. Everyone at the store was also very friendly. I would recommend Mieras to anyone I know because of the home town feel and great values and quality of their shoes and merchandise they offer. Absolutely great people and service. My shoe stitch wore out and they replaced it for free in under five minutes. I would recommend them to anyone. My family has went here for many years and we have never had a problem.

Bought a pair of work shoes a week ago, customer service was great. Unfortunately the second day I wore them the shoes broke.I took them back for either a repair or exchange. It was decided that a repair would be the best part. The frustration is I was told it would at least a week before the shoes can be repaired.Since these shoes were brand new I would have expected my repair to be expedited. Or my shoes exchanged

Such terrible service, I cant even begin to explain. The manager would not return a pair of shoes I got that I was unable to wear for work because I HAD ACCIDENTALLY RECYCLED THE BOX. I had the receipt, the shoes had not been worn (and did not look worn) and I was within the 30 day return policy. The manager raised his voice, yelled in my face, told me his hands were tied and walked away from me. They have a great reputation in town so I was completely shocked by the audacious customer service. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau regarding my experience here.

I went about 4:00 p.m., a little busy, but staff were standing around talking. I was seriously looking for shoes. I walked through the store twice. No one spoke to me at all. So, Im taking my chances ordering on line.

Incredible customer service.I found two possible safety shoes listed on their website so I called the store and they said they had them in my size and in stock. I drove over within the hour that evening and lo and behold, they had both shoes and in my size. Not just that, they had already pulled both from the stockroom and had them ready when I arrived knowing I was coming in.I tried on the shoes, made a decision and was in and out within 10 minutes. This was my best shopping experience for clothes ever, possibly for any item. They never tried to upsell or sell accessories as they knew I only needed new safety shoes.From now on Ill never stop by another shoe store period, at least for safety shoes because I dont live in MI, I only visit occasionally for work, therefore they wont be my go to shoe store, at least not until they create an online storefront and have a great return/exchange policy with free shipping.

I see below a statement that says, Great return policy. I cannot even begin to describe how inaccurate that statement is. Understand this, and read their policy before you take my word for it, THEY DO NOT REFUND WORN FOOTWEAR. So, if you like me find that the shoes you bought do not live up to their promises dont expect to grt your money back. You WILL NOT. Its their absolute policy. They may give you an in store credit for other shoes, but they will not pay you the difference in price if the replacement pair costs less then what you originally paid. I will personally never shop at Meiras again. I hope that you read their fine print before shopping there yourself. Lest you be incredibly disappointed, and leave the store feeling as if you were shafted.

A longtime, Westside family owned and operated shoe store, that by som miracle, continues to stay price-competitive. I quit going to the mall chain shoe stores ages ago, and have never looked back. Remember when shoe stores fit you? When they had shoe/boot repair departments? Mieras still does - and our family loves that!

If I were to rate this store, I will definitely give it a five out of five stars rating, based on level of quality service and the excellent items they sell.

A good selection of shoes, but the fella that I worked with was not at all helpful...I got the feeling like me looking for shoes was a major inconvenience to him. Not pleasant.

Was in a bind needed size 16 boots i called everywhere just when i thought i was out of luck i was refered to mieras by an employee at foot locker, so i gave them a call a very helpful lady answered i told her i needed size 16 and with out hesitation she said they had them in stock so i drove right out and bought them, from here on out mieras will be getting all my boot and shoe buisness.
