Northview Eye Care has a wonderful and caring staff. Dr. Holser has taken great care of our family and has kept our eyes healthy. I wouldn’t go anywhere else! Great selection of glasses too!

Northview Eye care has always been most kind whenever I need my glasses adjusted or have the eye pads changed. Before my husband passed away from his illness, they so kindly took him in at a last minute notice to handle all the problems he faced like dry eyes caused by sleeping with his eyes open. They are an incredible group of people!

Eye exam was great, very attentive and thorough doctor. Had some questions concerning the billing. Charged separately for pictures that I was not asked about. If pictures are needed for them to do a complete exam then include it in the price, was not told that pics are an additional charge.After the exam while getting info about contacts was given one price at about $200, than they gave my wife another price of $233 while on the phone, and then given the final price of about $275 when I picked up my glasses. Seems kind of shady! Might go back for eye exam, but minus the pics, and not for any products.The name here is not the same name given at my visits.

The Dr. and exam was good and very thorough, my insurance paid $681.80 I paid $387.20 for a total of $1,068.00 the glasses broke after 14 months and could not be fixed. They did offer to sell me another frame at 30% off. I am a 60 year old woman and not hard on my glasses for them to fall apart like that. would never go there again.

Keep in mind as you read the older reviews for this business that they are not reflective of the current (only) doctor.Dr. Curtis was an amazing doctor. Unfortunately, Dr. Curtis recently (early summer 2018) sold the Plainfield business to Dr. Patrick who, in my experience, could significantly improve on listening to what his patients are telling him about their eyes and past symptoms. Unfortunately my husband and I are in the process of finding a new doctor as a result of this.

New glasses needed a bit of tweeking. Martha knows my prescription is tricky and the glasses have to sit just right. Very nice to do business with people who care.

The team at Northview Eye Care has been exceptional. My wife & I started going there a few years ago on the recommendation from a family member. Their assessment, care, and recommendations for long-term care of our vision was exceptional.We had been simply stopping into various big-box store chains that had an optometrist for an occasional check up or new prescription every few years. The doctors at Northview diagnosed a condition one of us had that no one had told us about! In one appointment we understood the value of having a consistent, professional optometrist.Northview is more expensive than the optical chains, Sams Club, or Walmart, but the care is worth it. Dr. Holser is a Patient-Centered Optometrist who provides a thorough eye exam and complete eye care. He serves as the eye care specialist for my entire family. Martha and Dr. Holser are friendly and professional. Ive visited them twice now, and both have been positive experiences. Dr. Holser explains everything hes doing, and answers any questions you may have. You never feel rushed with him. Martha is great too. My first visit (over a year ago) I had problems with my new glasses (my nose is lacking a bridge), so she stayed in touch with me and brainstormed some ideas. Ultimately, she ended up getting me in touch with their lab so they could put some nose pads the plastic parts. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone.
