We are very happy with the pieces we recently purchased at Loves Furniture. Kudos to Andrew Dehring at the Grand Rapids, MI store for promptly, efficiently and graciously handling a problem with the wrong side-table being ordered by a different sales person and delivered to us. The chair and side-table work perfectly for the space we intended. We’re very satisfied! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Walked into store at 740pm, they close at 8pm. I was returning and knew exactly what I needed. Was greeted in this manner, we close in 20 minutes . Not can I help you, welcome to Loves or any customer service oriented statements. 10 minutes after I found what I needed, he runs over to ask if he can check me out. I politely said no. I need to give commission to someone who is more customer oriented. I told him his greeting was rude. Had he of said, Sorry or I didnt mean it that way, he would have had a sale. His comment was, whatever. I made the right decision and was helped by a kind salesperson who heard the interchange when I walked into the store. Unfortunately she had to stay past 8pm. I apologized and she indicated, we are expected to stay and I never plan to leave b4 9pm. I made the right decision. I hope the male finds another field, retail not a good choice.

This is a big disappointment. Salesman Donnie, to get a price reduction on the only one in price reduction and never got back with us and started helping someone else. We lingered by door but no response from him. If going out of business, why are prices so high. Dont waste your time.

Fantastic service and selection. Mark (our sales person) was very attentive and took care of all of our questions and concerns. There was no pressure, and they worked hard to make sure we got the furniture we wanted. I would highly recommend these folks for your furniture needs.

The only reason im leaving a4 star review is because of the nice lady in customer service who helped me with picking up some furniture my mom bought there. Upon closer inspection after i got the furniture home it was noticed that her 3000 sofa was treated like a scrap of wood in the holding area in the warehouse. Inspect your furniture before its loaded folks

I spent over $800 on furniture in November of 2020, and told that I had to wait for delivery around late January, early February 2021... well all of a sudden they file Bankruptcy in January. And no my furniture has not been delivered or I doubt even ordered. I believe this company knew they were not going to fulfill their deal and stole my money. Offered no consideration at all... yet still had their doors open, and running costly commercials like they are honestly doing business. Where is my $$? Furniture? I was told to go to my Bank and put a stop on my payment after 2 months... yea, it was a runaround.

If I would have wrote this review when I left the store I would have given them a 5 star rating, and I am happy I waited. This has been the WORST experience I have ever had. I originally had a couch ordered from Bobs, we ran into some issues with that, so once Loves opened I went to check out their store. I explained the situation to the two sales guys at Loves & they ENSURED me that the couch I had picked out was in stock, they even checked 3 times. They stated We cant guarantee that this will be in stock tomorrow if you wait, but we can see right now that it is in stock if you want to order it today. I went back to Bobs that same night, canceled my order from Bobs & returned to Loves to order the couch, THAT WAS IN STOCK. It is now December 28th & I still do not have my couch. Not only do I not have my couch, but Loves has NEVER once called me to let me know that it has been pushed back. There have been multiple instances that I called them to see if I could pick it up, on the day of delivery, and they tell me its pushed back another week or so. Today, they told me that it will be pushed back until the middle of February. I understand that we are in a global pandemic and there is a manufacturing shortage, however, I should have never been told that the item was in stock & it was guaranteed that it was in stock if I ordered that night. Additionally, Loves should be calling me with updates. I should not be calling them. DO NOT BUY FURNITURE FROM HERE!!

Do you ever get the feeling like a store doesn’t want your money? I had found a sofa on the website that I was interested in and were hoping to see in person before we purchased it. I showed the salesman the picture that clearly says the website at the top and the sku number at the bottom.Salesman: no we don’t have anything like that.Me: you don’t have it in store? Or you don’t offer it.Salesman: at all.Me: but it’s from your siteSalesman: I’ve never seen anything like thatMe: ....Salesman: I can ask around and if I find anything out I can let you know.Didn’t even offer to look up the sofa in their computer. Not even a let’s see if we can order it for you or find out if it comes in other configurations. Nothing. and we were the only customers in the store.The furniture they did have seemed to be nice quality. That’s the only reason I gave them a 2*

Loves feels like a fraudulent company! They are currently filing bankruptcy, and all deliveries and finances are frozen yet their doors are still open! They can not refund our money or deliver the items we paid for in November. I was speechless.We have been waiting for 2 months for couches they had in their warehouse. I called today to check on the status of our couches, and they said all deliveries are frozen till they get out of bankruptcy court. They didnt even reach out to let us know. I asked how their doors can still be open if this is happening. They said it is the customers right to decide if they want to wait till they get out of court for their items. Im not sure if they are upfront with new customers or not. I wouldnt risk it.We filed a dispute with our credit cards, and got our money back.

Awful. Makes sense why they are filing bankruptcy. My sales associate was great, he helped me return the first couch that didnt work out and helped me find a new one. However I chose to cancel my order Jan 5th because of unforeseen financial circumstances (my dog got hit by a car and as a result I had an $12,000 medical bill). They canceled my order no problem said that my money would be put back on my card. They specifically made me tell them my full card number so that they could also apply the transfer credit from the first couch that I bought (and exchanged) to ensure that I would get ALL $2000 back. Well I got part of it back (the difference for the couch I exchanged the first one for) and never returned my transfer credit (another almost $1000). I have been trying to resolve this issue since Jan 7th when I saw that only part of my money was returned to the card. I have spoken to several people, all claimed that they are emailing someone named Lisa and waiting on a response. Find out today, almost a month after I began this process, that there is nothing they can do. I have to call my credit card company and attempt to dispute the charges and have them deal with Loves Furniture. All I wanted was to cancel my order to help pay for my dogs medical bills, and all I have gotten is more stress and anxiety because someone failed to put my transfer credit back onto my card before they filled bankruptcy. Dont buy anything from here. Ever.

So my fiance and I walked in knowing what we were looking for. After not seeing the item on the floor, I checked online and it said it was out of stock. So we walked up to a gentleman and asked him if he could tell us when it would be back in stock and the computer wasnt pulling anything up and that he had to pull the hard copy order sheet and said he would be five minutes. After telling him we would wait for him right where we were, I noticed he was just standing around in the back with another guy taking and staring right at us. At this point it had been about 25 min. Finally an older lady that had been waking around the whole time finally approached us and asks us if we need help. I tell her what had transpired and she didnt seemed phased at all. So she was able to see that the item we wanted wouldnt be in stock until April but that they had a floor model. I went to find my fiance who had went to talk to our original salesman to see what the heck was going on and he finally said that unfortunately the the floor model couldnt be sold without being sold as a whole unit with 2 dressers and a stand. At this point Im a little upset and notice that there was an item missing next to it and he said that that was because they had never received the item yet. So we ended up leaving with no new bed frame and being very upset at the whole situation. I get it that production has been slow with the pandemic but last I knew, if you wanted to make a sale you would do everything in your power to make that sale. My fiance and I will not be back.

Horrible experience (so far). We ordered furniture two months ago and still nothing. We shopped this store, and actually bought a particular set, because the sales person said it was in stock and all ready, so we proceeded to purchase and schedule a delivery day. Well the delivery day came and went, nothing. Mind you, we just moved and have no furniture and were counting on this being delivered. Called Loves, they said, oh yeah looks like it got moved a week out. OK fine, but why not let us know ahead of time so we are not waiting around for thinking our furniture is going to be delivered? Well another week passes and same thing, nothing. So call again, they tell us its pushed out another week and it is only an estimate and they do not know actual days (that is NOT what the sales person told us). OK, whats another week or so? Another week goes by, call again, this time they moved the date out AGAIN and say it could be several months because they have basically have no idea. OK, I get it because of COVID and everything, but how do you have NO visibility into your supply chain? But also, why are the stores selling furniture to people with false claims about stuff being in stock? Lastly, why not have some sort of email communication or website with updates on the order status? This is 2020 people, the best they can do is tell me the delivery people will call the day before with a time? Seriously? Maybe they should just have a bird deliver a message or have someone drop by in a horse and buggy.

Our experience in the store with the sales team was great, but from that point forward it went downhill....I hate to give anyone a one star review, but feel this is needed. Our confirmation for our delivery date was confirmed, and I even called two days before to double check that we were still on track, which customer service confirmed we were. First, we never got a time confirmation, I had to call on the delivery date to make sure they were even coming, which I was then told it would be later in the day. I was then informed that it was scheduled on the manifest but never made it on the truck. So it wouldn’t be delivered - again, had to call and sit on hold and have them call me back hours later to find this out. The customer service rep never called me back as requested (and she promised she would) - AGAIN, I had to call them and explain it to a new rep. The new rep call me back the next day, even though I asked for a manager, and explained the best they could do is this Thursday. They screwed up, and have done literally nothing to make it right or help out. I’ve been dragging information out of them. I don’t recommend this place.

I nearly lost my money when order a couple dressers. I called to see when they would be in and I was told I wouldnt receive them. I had to have my bank get my money back. Now this place seems like a scam. Theyre supposedly going bankrupt and liquidating but the prices on their product is marked higher than it was before they filed bankruptcy . I wouldnt trust this place.

Do not buy your furniture here. I am having a HORRIBLE experience! I bought a couch, loveseat, coffee table and two end tables at the store on 11/14/20. At that time, the salesman told me He checked and I could choose a date for my delivery and 12/1/20 was a date I could choose since it would be in the warehouse at that time. I chose 12/1/20. On 11/30, I removed ALL of my old furniture from my living room into my garage for the delivery the next day. I never heard a thing. I called customer service 3 times, waited on hold over an hour, put my number in twice to be called back, I finally after multiple calls spoke with a manager to find out where my delivery was. She told me the salesman told me wrong, all of my furniture I ordered would not even be in the warehouse until 12/9 and it would be delivered to me the next day (tomorrow) 12/10/20. Meanwhile I FINALLY got a call back 5 Days later from Customer service from my first initial message I had left. I received my delivery notification on my phone Today and it says everything BUT the couch will be delivered. So I call over to Customer service, still no response, wait on hold forever. I call multiple times to FINALLY talk to a manager AGAIN to see why my couch is not being delivered AGAIN. She proceeds to tell me the couch is NOT at the warehouse and there is an ESTIMATED date it will arrive in the warehouse on 12/15/20 but this is ONLY estimated. So it’s almost Christmas, zero furniture, guests coming over and I don’t even know if my couch will even be here because no one can give me any answers except it’s ESTIMATED. Horrible service! I strongly do not recommend buying your furniture here unless you want to be lied to, completely stressed out and have to wait even to get a call back. I will never shop here again

They promise you that they are different. that their shopping experience is supposed to be more comfortable for the buyer, that you have the option to shop alone. They do not respect their promises and lie to you, feels like you are a zebra being hunted by lions. The sales team is constantly looking at you making you uncomfortable, and they do not respect each other. Seems like they keep trying to steal each others sales. Just an awful experience from the moment you walk in

Staff has not been well versed on the “system” they are using. They are not able to provide accurate delivery times and phone numbers lead you to voicemails and long hold times. No one followed up with us until after our delivery was rescheduled automatically. Then our delivery was reschedule to a day that their “cross dock does not deliver” and was moved once again. Very very frustrated about this whole situation. We loved the staff at the store itself but have lost trust in this establishment as a whole. We spoke to Sarah the office manager multiple times and she did not remember who I was. She never followed up with us after saying she would after our mattress came in stained and full of hairs. We went to cancel our order and all pending orders and she didn’t seem to care about the situation they had put us through.

I am not one to write reviews but I just have to considering how bad things are there and do not want anyone else to experience what I experienced. From the moment you walk in you are greeted at the door and promised you have the option to shop alone and not have a salesman pressuring you the entire time but that is not the case. The sales team is constantly hunting you down and it seems as if the sales people do not respect each others sale because they keep constantly try to steal each other customers, I noticed this because we were at the store for a decent amount and we were greeted by multiple sales people telling us the same that they will leave us alone but yet keep spying on you. Seems as if they are not trained/knowledgeable in their products and systems either. When we asked someone on the floor about a specific sectional it is as if they had no idea what they were talking about and could not answer our question. We were with the sales person trying to complete an order and it was ridiculous how long it took them to get everything ready. We were so frustrated we just ended up leaving

Would give 0 star if possible. We had a great shopping experience in the store. We purchased a tempurpedic mattress and powerbase. They were supposed to be delivered 12/31. I get a call that day saying that they had something catastrophic occur and lost their delivery company and have no idea where any of their inventory is or what inventory they have. As a result they will not be delivering anything until 1/21. This is absolutely ridiculous how do you not have any back up records of what is where? Safe to say I cancled my order for a full refund.

I am a first and last time customer with Love’s Furniture. I was sold a couch earlier this month and the sales woman “guaranteed” a delivery date of December 12th. I called on the twelfth wondering what time the order would be arriving as I hadn’t received any sort of confirmation. Imagine my surprise when they said the 15th my sofa would be delivered. That’s fine, three more days of not having a sofa would be alright with me. The 15th comes and again, I receive no call beforehand, I called the store to inquire about the delivery time and the sales woman was surprised no one had called to tell me it would be delayed again until the 22nd. Tonight is the 21st, and again - no communication WHATSOEVER from your customer service team. I called, and the woman (Susan who was very sweet) informed me the delivery date is now JANUARY SECOND. We have already sold our couch on the 10th believing what we were told of having a new couch delivered just two days later.I completely understand the climate we are in with the pandemic. I would have been perfectly fine with an accurate delivery date or to be underpromised rather than over promised. I cannot stress enough that I was excited when ArtVan left and thought a better furniture store would be coming in it’s place. Joke is on me - it’s far worse. I would not recommend your company or services to anyone I know.

I purchased a jewelry armoir from this company on December 4th. They gave me a delivery date of December 22 to my house. No one ever called me to set up receiving time. No emails. I called them and got the run around. Finally, they set up a new date for delivery, December 30. Again no call no show, no email. I called them again and was told that it would be available on the 9th of January, but I could not pick it up or get it delivered untill January 19th. I ended up canceling and getting my money back. Some of the worst services I have ever seen. Lots of promises and all broken. I will never shop here again. Thanks for ruining my wifes Christmas.

Purchased a 5 pc sectional. Loves showed up to deliver 4 of 5 PCs, two of which were damaged/defective upon arrival. They left two pcs. I was told the 5th pc was left in Detroit and wouldn’t arrive until Dec 30th. I called them back to check status and they stated that the remaining pcs would be delivered on Dec 29th. I called to get a time frame for the delivery and they informed me on the 29th that nothing was ready for delivery on the day it was supposed to be. Loves has a very pleasent shopping experience with the sales people being very polite. But after the purchase it turned into a total circus. I have zero confidence in what they are telling me over the phone as they’ve told me 4 different things. I get it things change and there are issues that come up however the least they could do is get organized in what they inform their customers about. I would rather have been told something to the effect of “We have not date for your delivery yet” rather than a different story each time and it being a circus. Our salesperson tried his best however it appears his hands are tied by the companies overall dysfunction. Ive read other reviews and I see Loves standard response is to email the unhappy customer to email or call Loves. However it should be the other way around. Loves should be calling their unhappy customers and trying to make amends.

This place is horrible when it comes with service!! My husband and I went in to purchase new couch sets, spent hours or so. Non of the staff approach us and help us, they were like 5 or 6 staff and couple or few customers there, the staff are in the group and they just talk and laugh, while we were waiting for them to help us. I would not recommend this horrible place .
