I originally purchased a 2016 R1200RT here over five years ago and went back for the first time last Friday. I live on the other side of the state and the other two BMW dealers showed no interest in a problem I was having with the bike. I walked into BMW GR, spoke to my original salesperson who took me over to talk to the service manager who then spent 15 minutes looking at my bike and trying to find the problem. He then took me over to the parts department who helped look for the parts I needed and possible solutions. To top things off, I then spent half an hour talking with a different salesperson about the new bikes. Top notch service from beginning to end and certainly the best around!!

Very nice. I really strongly feel that your fine display of rides are not priced high enough. I think you could easily double the prices. Probably even double and a half. Also if a customer asks how much, they cant afford it. Dont forget do not give the sales people or mechanics a raise. They want more money. Just show them the pile of applications.

After checking their reviews they all seemed great except a few that complained about customer service. I went there looking to get a few questions answered as Ive had a few Harleys but now with grown children I was looking to get back into riding. Bmw motorcycles have an excellent reputation so I wanted to take a look. I went there and walked through the showroom and was never greeted or approached. I then went and looked at their used bikes and had the same experience. I saw one guy with a bmw shirt but couldnt catch him. Im not going to beg them to take my money. Maybe my experience was an anomaly but it certainly soured me on them.

I bought a new GS motorcycle from there. The sales women Andrea was always nice to talk to. The General Manager Blane always makes sure your getting helped. Bruce and the rest of the service department are really helpful, I havent had an issue. Well besides the slightly pricey nature of BMW parts....All in all my time spent there is never a bad experience.

3 years ago these guys got my 1976 R90/6 running better than it had in the 37 years Ive owned it. Last week I found out they no longer do any work on Airheads. Which is understandable but still sucks. What is a devoted Airhead owner to do?

Spoke with a wonderful woman yesterday about my husbands motorcycle that I plan on selling, she connected me to Blane who was incredibly put out by my phone call. Very rude and disinterested, when I called back to complain to the manager I found out he was the owner! Wow, no wonder people buy Harleys!

Brought in my 2006 BMW K1200S to dealer. Never bring my stuff to dealers because they are expensive I do most of my work myself but there was a bunch of warranty work needed to get done. While there I had them check out a few issues I had with bike stalling out and needed final drive oil change. They recommended new tires which I got while it was there. The bike handles like a new bike with the tires, it didnt even feel like my bike at first and the stalling issue seems to have been resolved. One of the warranty items was a new fuel pump but they also put in fuel injector cleaner which I had done in the past with no improvements. So Im not sure what fixed the problem, but I am loving the bike more than ever now that I dont have to keep the throttle turned slightly when stopped to keep bike from stalling out when bike was hot. Also seems a little more responsive.Thanks BMW of GR, Ill definitely bring my back there when I need more work done and maybe if I trade up to the K1300S someday.Clint

I test rode several motorcycles from the Dealership, which included the Motus, before I settled on a 2015 K1600GT. The staff are very friendly, and when I had my bike serviced, they made me feel very comfortable as I waited for the 6,000 mile service. This dealership is over 120 miles away from me, and I will continue to make that ride to have my bike serviced. I highly recommend this dealership for anyone looking to purchase or have a BMW or Motus serviced.

One of the few places that never ceases to frustrate me. Things may have improved over the last 24 months but my experience with this dealership and service department is far from OK. I havent been back there for almost 2 years only because I havent put a lot of miles on the bikes the last couple of summers. However, I now need service for this winter and the mere thought of going back there make me kind of sick. IN a nutshell, these are OK people but I its rare to get the bike fixed correctly the first time around. Ive had the 1200 RS in at least twice for a small electrical issue and its still not fixed. Ive had them cross thread the oil drain plug and it took 3 times to get this fixed. Again, I havent been riding a lot but this summer however when I went to ride the 1200RT, I checked the tire pressures and found to my amazement one of my BMW metal valve stem caps was replaced with a cheap plastic one. There are only two possibilities here..I did it myself or the mechanic at GR BMW did it as no one else touches these bikes. So even after not visiting these people for service - they STILL managed to piss me off!! I also bought a pair of BMW leather riding boots from these folks. I dont walk on them, I ride with them. After a few years of use they are splitting apart. This is probably less than 5000 riding miles. Bottom line is Im done. Im going to try out a place on plainfield ave for this year. I contacted them today and I couldnt have been greeted any better. They are sending a truck over to pick up my bikes!!! How convenient it this? Good luck GR BMW.

I bought my first BMW from this dealer over the phone as I live a couple hours away. Susan was wonderful to work with and I really felt like my business was appreciated. Ive since been back for service in the bike which I had to reschedule a couple of times but that was on me, not them. Ive also made the trip there whenever Ive needed to buy more gear.

R1200GS needed a wire repaired and a wire replaced (2.5hrs of labor as stated in my invoice) and it was there for 5 weeks! I received 1 call immediately after dropping off telling me the appointment was going to be pushed back 2 weeks... That time came and went without update and I called to hear it was pushed back another week. That time came and went without update and I called to hear it was pushed another week.. Extremely unapologetic. First Sorry I heard was after picking bike up and pointing out their lack of call backs was disappointing. I asked for a call back to repair a Vario side case since and call was not returned. Its seems very clear they know they are the only BMW shop on the west side of the state and they dont have to be good. I was a new customer who rides with 3 other BMW owners and their failure to provide customer service will cost them 4 customers.

Went to window shop, ended up with a pair of Badlands pants. Everyone was so dang friendly, and thats a big deal as I live in the south. We like conversation. They helped me thru several brands, sizes you name it. Then I said, Just tell me its the lowest price I can find, Ill believe you and give you my money. The gentleman tells me hes gonna check. Comes back and tells me Open House discount! Wooo, and it was CHEAPER than the internet! If I didnt figure my wife would spaz if I bought the jacket too, I wouldve bought the jacket. Will be back in a couple weeks for the Badlands Jacket. Oh, had free hotdogs too. Outstanding visit!

Bruce the service manager at Grand Rapids BMW was very hospitable . Was traveling through Grand Rapids on my way to Canada from Moline, il and Bruce squeezed me in to take a look at the bike. I was in the dealership waiting around and he had asked me if I had eaten yet, And offered me some pizza and salad while I was waiting. He got my bike in and looked at within an hour and addresessed my issue quickly . Definitely the most accommodating, friendly and personable dealership that Ive ever been to. I would recommend them and definitely take my bike back to their dealership for any service related issues. Ended up buying a shirt in their parts department, where they were also very personable.
