Love, love, love this place. Best. Cold. Brew. In. Town!

Spacious and well lit but the WORST COFFEE ever.We couldnt finish our espressos, they had a strong and horrid after taste.

Fantastic coffee! Plenty of seating. I liked that they offered honey and stevia as sweeteners.

Cafe main was a classic and I am happy to see them in there own space again! Don’t pay attention to other reviews the shop use to be called higher grounds and was a different business! This place is awesome and owned by two brothers they are great people and really know about coffee! So excited for this place in my neighborhood!

Cannot say enough about this place. Friendly staff and amazing snacks and coffee. Each pour over specialty coffee is a new adventure. Especially the South American and Island sourced coffees.

I was so disappointed in my visit! I love coffee shops and was happy to find there was one nearby. When I arrived I immediately heard a few kids running around and this mom who wasnt concerned in the slightest bit. I was greeted by the man at the register and he was really friendly. I thought the prices were fair. I took a seat and began to work on a work project but these kids continued to run around (literally run in circles) and one did not have shoes on. And 2 of them kept screaming. The employees did nothing! Even after another customer packed up his laptop and was clearly upset they did nothing. The entire time they spent talking up at the front at what seemed like maybe management who was discussing ordering it sounded like? They were never concerned and were oblivious that I also had to pack up and leave. Very disappointing. The staff clearly needs some training in how to deal with these situations. I would have been so excited to be a regular here....

Love love LOVE Cafe Main. Its located inside the IHOP University, so lots of good energy. Good coffee and happy peeps! Some bakery goods and other snacks. Plenty of parking, right off I-49/ Hwy 71 (easy on & off!)

They are always so kind and have great quality coffee and good pastry!

Update: I picked up a bag of their Columbia Villa Esperanza. This is probably the most thoroughly enjoyable Latin American coffee IVE EVER HAD! I have had the privilege of enjoying literally hundreds of Latin American Coffees from the most prestigious roasters in the U.S. and these guys just NAILED IT!Original: Im very thankful to have quality coffee in Grandview! I was a specialty coffee professional for 8 years. This is very good coffee indeed!

Wonderful coffee and muffins. The muffins are very moist and delicious and the espresso is smooth and light. Wonderful lattes and Americanos

The coffee is tasty and inexpensive. Sadly, it used to be in a beautiful wood-and-brick corner shop and has now moved into a cafeteria-style part of the IHOP complex. I miss the old ambience, though I can see why they did it from a Business perspective.

My favorite coffee and the best in South KC / Grandview. Great people and relaxing place. Now they are fresh roasting their own coffee, as ‘Notion Coffee’. It’s all I drink at home. Check it out!

There was a single barista and lots of people waiting in line while he prepared each order by hand. I and the person I was with finally just found a seat with our group and didnt order anything.Atmosphere was casual and relaxed.

Their Baristas are knowledge, kind and funny! The coffee (really any drink) is exceptional!Their roasted beans are on par with Kansas City’s world class roasting industry! I’ve been consistently buying my beans from them and have loved making espresso, V60 pour overs and Clever Drippers — these beans are AMAZING!!Buy a bag and enjoy!

Great atmosphere, in the heart of the International House of Prayer University. Not sure how much its associated with that church, but it has a nice campus coffeehouse vibe.
