I just tried to go to this location and apparently theyre closed today. No one in the store, doors are locked, no note or anything on door. But yet their hours of operation on Sundays are supposed to be 8a-8p. Least they could have done was put a sign up.

This store was open at 7:42 when I arrived. They dont close until 8:00. They were literally sitting at the register watching us and waved with the door locked. I am attaching photos of your employees in the store and I waited till 8 oclock to get better pictures. Another lady knocked and showed them the time sign showing 8 p.m., they went to the back. They are always closing the doors on or closed. If you want to be in business you need to hire people that want to work. This is not good business or customer service. If you check your system you will see no sales during this time. 10 people came and left while I waited. An employee did make a purchase so that is the only transaction you will see, before they let him out. I own a business so I wouldnt want these people working for me. This needs to be addressed asap. I will be returning to see if these employees remain and if so I will be addressing this issue again.

This location sets its own personal hours. Many times Ive gone to this location and it had a hand written note on the door. Closed early today, closing at 7pm today, or not open until 12pm today. I normally just drive to another location if I can.

This store is perfectly located in a convenient location. It is well stocked and the staff is friendly. Its a great place to get what you need without spending too much money. Your dollar goes a long way here .

This location is a joke. Half the time I go there they are closed during posted open hours. Closed on Sunday at 4pm when posted hours are open untill 8pm? Why? Might as well just close this location permanently. Store is always messy and shelves rarely stocked.

Employees and manager are always so pleasant, and with so many locations in KC, this one is the fav. So nice to be able to stop on my way home to grab a few things, be rung up quickly, and be on my way. Probably helps that its in a nicer little pocket away from the seedy Ruskin/Hickman Mills area.

Good selection of items, store was clean and I was able to find what I was looking for. Unfortunately the staff complained a lot about management and co-workers not showing up for work as lines were long. They were still pleasant to customers but Im not sure Ill be comfortable going back.

I love the Dollar Tree you can find so many great things there whether youre on a budget or not is always something you can find that you can use

Store is kinda ghetto at times with employees speaking personal business of other employees, cursing,&loud...but I see small changes coming soon...

This store is clean and the selection is usually decent. The workers are friendly too. Biggest issue is they are never actually open during the hours posted on their store front. Maybe they are understaffed and need to hire more or change the posted hours to reflect actual working hours.

This location is often not open at their posted open hours. Today is Sunday and the door says they open at 9am. I arrived around 10:10 am and there were at least a couple of dozen cars with people in them waiting for them to open still. I sat in my car eating my McDonalds breakfast sandwich watching people go up to the door turn around and leave. By the time I finished my sandwich they lost a lot of business. Another complaint is they are often out of items I went there specifically to get.

This Dollar Tree Almost never has the things Im looking for in stock.The staff is friendly and they try to be helpful but its not enough. ///// That was all of my original review Google left it was much longer and much more truthful that Dollar Tree is a mess they suckyou got to wonder how much they pay Google to keep information like this out of the public eye and off of Google

Update: 2/20/2021 Went to shop around 3:00 pm but there are signs on the door saying the store is closed.Honestly, how does this store stay in business.This store has been closed countless times during regular store hours. Yesterday we were all asked to leave around 2:35 due to “CIRCUMSTANCES” . I didn’t get to finish shopping. I live in Grandview but usually shop at the one in Belton. It’s cleaner and better stocked.

They are constantly closed in middle of the day despite their hours saying otherwise.

Had not been here in months, its a lot neater and more organized than I have ever seen.

They were on top of getting Valentines Day balloons ready ahead of time. I have never seen them do this but it was kinda cool seeing the entire front half of the store full of balloons all over the ceiling. Besides this their store is normally lacking ALOT of stuff (today being one of them) they could also definitely work at keeping a cleaner store but I dont think its the employees lack of trying... its more so the stores customers and the store normally lacking enough employees to be able to try to organize/stock/ clean/cashier and also blow up balloons that arent already blown up when theres usually only 2 or 3 of them working at a time.

I would say its about average so a lot of stuff was stocked but not everything was stocked but it was clean and I got through line really really fast

Tends to be a mess like the employees and management dont care at all. one thing to be out of things another for people to have to walk around stuff covering the floors.

For the past two Sunday I come here at 10:18 am and they are closed they are never open. They close when they want this store is a joke.

Would you believe the cashier tried to use my daughters food card to pay for items that belonged to the customer before her. She had the lady wait while she waited on my daughter. She stood arm to arm with my daughter with no respect to the 5 rule. Fortunately my daughter was raised to watch and count for herself. The cashier got totally confused and wasnt as successful as she thought but there were items on our receipt that we didnt purchase that the customer left the store with them... Cashier ended up losing money for the store. Explain that to me... WEVE GOT TO WATCH OUT. Theyre doing it everywhere....

This location by far is the absolute worst ever!!! The store is always filthy and shelves are bare. No need to Google the operating hours because they open and close when they feel like it.I understand there is a capacity limit due to Covid-19 HOWEVER locking the doors is a complete fire hazard. Like other locations why not have some one at the door to monitor the in/out activities? It’s not like there is much cleaning or stocking going on. There is usually one lane open anyway. The cashiers/staff spend so much time having personal conversations amongst each other rather than tending to the store. It’s painstaking because I truly try to shop within my neighborhood but we do not deserve such trash.

At the beginning of the Pandemic, when KC got their stay at home order. I understood that business closed early. So I knew if I needed anything I basically better do it by 12pm.However there have been many time I pull up and they are closed for the day. That happened a few times so I said if I need something I have to come in the mornings.Then it seemed like they started just not opening at all. So Im not even sure why they are operating this store because I cant imagine they are making a profit. They are never open or they close at an ridiculous hour.

Good place to come and pick up your last minute items such as food and gift items. They have good friendly worker who dont mind helping you and the place is clear of stuff laying around on the floor. Does not smell in the store. Only problem i dont remember if they had any restrooms.

Prices are good. This place is filthy though. Floor is nasty and there is junk and trash all over the place. The owner should make this place appear somewhat presentable. Really is a disgusting place to walk in to. It is astounding in its lack of cleanliness.

I went in for a large coffee mug. They only had small ones. I bought 1 small one and a tumbler w/a lid. No one asked if I needed help. The store was a mess, boxes everywhere shelves empty in spots, so I dont think Ill go back. The guy who wrung me up was super friendly!

Staff was nice but the store was very crowded with extra merchandise and boxes all over the place. It was difficult to access some of the things I was shopping for but the store did seem to offer a large variety of products despite some empty shelves.

This store is absolutely trashed. If the merchandise is on the shelves, instead of on the floor or out of stock, they are in complete disarray. We were there around noon and I doubt that mess was created in the few short hours they had been open. It appears to be the normal condition of the store. Take the ten extra minutes to drive to the Belton store if shopping at the Dollar Tree is a must.

The customers usually mess up this store by leaving frozen food here and there in the store. They will snack and shop and leave trash here and there. They allow their children to open toys and strewn them throughout the store. Mostly, the customers contribute to the mess at this location. Otherwise, it rates with just about all other Dollar Trees. This location needs a completely new refrigerator/ freezer set up to reduce spoilage of perishables.

This place was recently renovated, but aside from the new facade outside, you wouldnt know it. If you need this for a dollar, this is your store, but I wouldnt expect to have a pleasant time getting them. Theres always a long wait at the register.

Went for bday balloons a couple weekends ago and the lady who helped me was just the best. She not only took the time to get me the balloons I needed but tied them all up and even helped me attach them to a table weight. All the while still helping other shoppers with questions. She was great, however the store needs a complete re-haul. It is always a mess. I avoid this store because of that. There are items laying in the isles- the shelves are all a disarray. Just a mess!

This location didnt have more than 5 shopping carts. Shopping without one is impossible for me because i just had a c section. Cant shop with a new born im not even supposed to be lifting in her carseat let alo e an armful of groceries. Also the cashier forgot to give ppl their products 3times while i wasted 15 mins waiting for a cart. I say wasted because upon further inspection, this store wasnt stocked at all! They didnt have jack s*** that i even came for in the firat place.Was told that its because people kept stealing them around christmas.. Its alnost october of next year, youve had 10 mo ths to get more than 5 shopping carts. Another gentleman behind me said i understand, this is all i could get today because im not supposed to lift more than 10 lbs after my heart surgery. This place needs 2 get it together. Also, some of the reviews praising this store ive noticed are current employees, so the good reviews cant be trusted

When the place stock up it the best to go to but the pass 6 months it aint been stock and the workers always say they dont when it will change

Great store, great selection but horrible workers. A particular worker Vada always has an attitude. She’s always has complaints regarding other workers or states how she is ready to quit... I only visit this location about 2 times per month and everytime for the past 4 months she is there upset and complaining... For the love of God if you don’t like your job quit or better yourself to move up higher than just a cashier/stocker at dollar tree.

If you know what to shop for, then youll know how to get your moneys worth for sure. The freezer sections pretty nice, and in general its a good place for some inexpensive junk food.But outside of the food section, its a bit of a gamble. They sometimes dont have what you need in stock -- roughly half the time I cant find daytime sinus pills and hydrocortizone cream. =/

Today the store was cleaned up and the shelves were stocked. The two ladies running the registers were pleasant and quick.

This store has a good customer base but the shelves are poorly stocked. Many items are out(at least not on the shelf). Very frustrating when what you need is not available! Next available stires are Belton or Martin City😑!!!

Love Dollar Tree store in Grandview however its sunday and you open at 9 am however it is 9:54 am and the store is not open and there is no sign on the door stating that its closed smh. Customer are left waiting for it to open.

Why is this store always closed on a Saturday. I was in the the store about 2 week (on a Saturday) and the manager got upset with one of the customs and closed the store. I love going to this store on Saturday since its my only day off and hate to be turned around.

I like Dollar Tree but this one always has a long line, shelves are not always stocked and the aisles can be empty. It is a great place to stop if you need a few small things and you are not in a rush.

This store was a mess, merchandise all over the floor and disorganized. Their selection of Halloween decor two weeks before the holiday was disappointing, especially since they already had Christmas items out. The staff were friendly but I probably wouldnt shop here again. This area has had s lot of recent development over the past few years with new stores coming in but this store falls short of the quality of other stores nearby.
