We just started at extra space, but we got a great deal on a big storage (only for 2 months) . The set up and location of the storage is very nice. The lot and space to get in out is great. The customer service was great, but there was discrepancies on what I was told versus what is happening. I am editing my post and rating, I agree with the storage and location being nice. However, I made sure to ask how often the rate goes up and does it immediately jump up to the original price . I was told no, that it goes up every 4 months or so and that it’s not a big jump, but a gradual increase. That has not been case for me after two months.

I spoke with Zach and Dave who are really great!Very friendly and helpful. Zach took time in the heatAnd showed myself and my daughter three storageSpaces.. great job both guys, I would recommend this place.Unique!

We have used this storage facility multiple times in the past 9 years, and the facility at 94th and Holmes before moving to this area. They are quick, easy to finalize your space and a safe place to store your items. And the employees are so down to earth and caring. We will use them again just for the customer service they give to us.

Called to view a 10x20 space at the Grandview Mo location in Kansas City Mo. I had originally viewed a space at the Holmes street location here with the representative Dave whom was very informative & professional & key to me wanting to do business with Extra Space Storage. The Holmes location didn’t have what I was originally was looking for, so Dave recommended I take a viewing at the Grandview location instead because of larger units & availability. I then spoke with Patty before closing hours who is the on-site representative at the Grandview location about reserving a unit for me to view the next day. Upon arrival the next day, Dave happened to be at the Grandview location as well & gave me a tour of the facility & the units that were available. After viewing & being satisfied with such kindness & service, I ended up purchasing two 10x20 units instead of one!! Came back a few days later & had the opportunity to meet Patty & officially move in, & she was so sweet & professional as well. Couldn’t ask for anything more!! Quality people, & quality service!! Very impressed.

I rented a 5x10 for about 8 months. The staff are availablevand helpful. The price of $39 could not be beat anywhere. My only complaint is the door on my unit was poorly designed.

The Grandview,MO Extra Storage is easy to find, clean, and well-managed. The store manager Javier went out of his way in terms of customer service, showed me several units that fit my needs, and even helped to ensure that I was pleased with the storage space. On top of that, the price is definitely more affordable compared to other area storage companies. Start here and save yourself unnecessary frustration!

I had a bunch of crazy family circumstances come up and I felt as though I had Mike (the property Mgr) jumping through hoops just to help me. Through it all, he was very helpful, patient and kind as he put up with all of my many phone calls, as I am from out of town and trying to figure things out to resolve a family storage unit issue. We only needed the storage for a week, and worked perfect for what we needed it for. It was clean and well kept. Was contacted immediately after seeing what was available online. Alanda (which was amazing and would use this storage facility again just because of her) told me to come in to look at it in person, I headed that way and Immediately rented it out! Would highly recommend and use again!

Extra Space storage is great so far! I went in to talk to them because I have been with StorageMart and they just keep increasing rates and they are way too high. Stacey at Extra Space was super helpful and honest upfront. Their rates are much better!

They open my storage took my things out the storage sold them, I did not know until I went to check on my unit and my things were gone. They did apologize and promised to make good on it and have completely failed to follow through. Now I am getting the run around on an error they made and promised to make good on after being a customer of theirs for two years, I feel totally disrespected.
