My husband brought his 2019 GMC Sierra here for a brand new lift ( his first lift job was horrible and the truck rode rough ever since). The new lift is Absolutely stunning and impressive, the truck finally rides like a dream and no longer throws you around when going down terrible Michigan roads. Todd saw and heard the problem with the exhaust that was also previously botched by a different company, immediately and got to work on it. Our diesel finally sounds, rides, and hauls the way it was built to do. Todd and his team turned our truck into a massive and impressive beast that turns heads all over. I had my 2011 Ford f250 to three different shops and spent a couple of thousand dollars without it getting fixed with one of the shops telling me that I needed a new engine. I called Dieseltec and they were able to get me scheduled within a week. Once I had my truck in for the appointment, they were able to diagnose it and give me a quote by the end of the day. The repairs were reasonable and done the next day.I have put 2500 miles on my truck since they did the repair and the problem has not returned.I couldnt ask for a better experience. Todd and the crew have a new customer for life. These guys know their stuff.

Tood and Diesel Tec were great to deal with! I have a 2005 Chevy Duramax. The turbo and turbo acuator have been malfunctioning for some time. They were able to get me in within just a few days. Dropped the truck off on a Tuesday for my wednesday appt. Todd was friendly and very easy to deal with. Full explanation of what they needed to do. They reached out the next day to let me know the acuator and turbo were bad. Provided a fully explained invoice, once that was approved they completed the work in a very timely manner....two days early in fact!!!! I had also asked Todd about tuning/programmer options and opinions when I dropped the truck off. Based on his reccomendations and some follow up research on my own...I also had them install a 5 positon DSP switch and custom tunes using EFI Live. Truck runs great....and brings LOTS of smiles. Overall excellent experience by a friendly, knowledgable staff who got the job done in an efficient manner at a fair price! A pleasant suprise was the military discount btw. Due to my work schedule I had a hard time getting right in and twice Todd offered to stay late to help me out. Couldnt ask for more!!

Recently had them put a new set of tunes on my truck and correct my speedometer. Saw some bad reviews online but gave them the chance and did not disappoint. Very happy with the work and service

So I want to start by saying I have a 2006 f350 6.0 work truck for tree service. I’m always hauling logs, trailers or wood chips. I go off road often with my truck. I even use my truck to pull over 70ft tall trees my point is my truck must work properly and have power as it’s my main money maker! I’ve been to a number of diesel shops in the past. None of them even come close to having the knowledge that diesel tech does. I’m always treated nicely. They are very patient with me and explain everything very thoroughly. I can’t say enough good stuff about them. I am a diesel tech customer for life. I don’t even think about calling anyone else anymore I just call the guys I trust to get the job done right the first time for a fair price. Also I just wanted to say they have also done small extra things for me without even charging me. If your in need of a great place to take your truck and you want it done right the first time. Then take it to diesel tech and ask for Todd he will treat you right! Thanks guys for all your hard work and helping me stay on the road. You guys are awesome!

I dont know why everyone is giving this place such bad reviews, let me tell you about my experience with them. I took my truck in to have a few minor issues looked at. They were busy that day, so I had to pull my truck into the backdoor. It was a tight squeeze, (my truck has a lot of girth), but I managed to cram it all in there, much to their surprise. You should have seen the look on their face! I backed it out and pulled it in a couple times just to make sure they could handle it being parked there for an extended period of time. They started by helping me lube up my exhaust, which is always a good thing to do by the way, as some people prefer to have things going in and out of the exhaust rather quickly and frequently. Next they took a tug on my crankshaft, and boy lemme tell ya they know just how to crank it! Once I was satisfied and my oil was all over the place, the owner took it upon himself to personally clean it up and inspect my gear stick. I was really touched by the time and sincerity he dedicated to this. We gazed into each others eyes, passionately, as he took me all the way to 4th gear. I gave him a quick kiss and went on my way! Highly recommend!

Poor craftsmanship at best. I highly doubt all the mechanics are licensed that work here. Your only popular because of your location. In Flint or Detroit you would have to seriously step up your game.

I walked into Diesel Tec as a first time customer to have my truck diagnosed this week. Todd at the front desk was very welcoming and was able to get me into the schedule instantly. After diagnosis, there was a recommendation for my engine to be rebuilt. As I was willing to pay half on the spot, he stopped me knowing I just bought the truck from a dealer and told me that I should contact them first to see if there is anything they can do to help me before pulling out my pocket book. (He was right, the dealer is taking care of this for me) Todd just saved me thousands of $. That my friends is pure honesty. These guys are honest hard working straight shooters. (No pun intended) He could have taken my money right then and there. Beyond that, he guided me through what to be aware of and to look out for if the dealer does do the repairs. I will be using these guys for all of my future repairs. I strongly recommend this shop to anyone not looking to get the run around you would normally get anywhere else.

Had a check engine code on my 08 Ford Super Duty 6.4L. They knew right away what it was without even looking at it. The tech went out and confirmed. He was right. These guys know how to tweek a diesel! They have done work on my truck in the past. Im a customer for life. Brian, the owner, is happy to spend as much time with you as you need to explain things. Very professional, and a nice, clean shop.

Horrible place. Dont take your truck here. I sent my truck in to have head studs done. Head gasket blew 2 months later. Brought it back again figuring it would be under warranty but he told me i didnt bring the truck in soon enough for the warranty and told me it wasnt blown. I brought the truck all the way from florida to them and had injectors done at this time. They gave me the truck back saying the head gasket wasnt blown. I made it 30 minutes away from their shop when it ran out of water and started overheating. Took the truck back to them and they took it apart and fixed the head gasket again. When i got the truck back i made it 890 miles of my 1000 mile trip before the head gasket blew again. I have called to get them to do something but i never recieved any call back. When i had to fill it with antifreeze again i found that they had took my headlights and grill out and didnt even put the right bolt back in. My headlights and grill were installed back on the truck with sheet metal screws. Now im out over 12000 dollars and im back to where i started when i dropped the truck off with them to start with. I will never let these guys touch my truck again.

I would recommend them for any diesel work. The company is great to work with.

The technician I dealt with was very strange. He never once broke eye contact and kept smelling his fingers about once every 50 seconds or so. Offered to get my starter going even though it was my oil pan drum that had a leak. I asked him to check my oil and he suddenly acted offended. Id give only one star, but he eventually stuck a Bible in the oil pan to stop the leak.

I bring my stuff to T&A Diesel now. They seem much more knowledgeable, theyre really nice people, and they have good prices. Plus I never have to bring it back for work they have already done because they do it right!

Had a great experience there. Talked to Todd on the phone to purchase Parts. He said it would take 3 to 4 days to get the parts but they came in 2 days and he shipped right to my shop. I called him at noon after installing the parts to see when he could get the truck in for some tuning and got the truck in at 230 the same day and it was ready to go by 4. I will be bringing all of my shops diesel trucks to him. And he is working out fleet pricing for me. I highly recommend this shop.

I am a very flamboyant homosexual, so when I took my truck into this shop to have them install a lift I assumed they were going to be rude to me but boy was I wrong! All employees were extremely polite and seemed extremely knowledgeable on what they were doing. P.s. Brian is pretty cute(;

You are correct, I have never been a customer at your shop. I was a potential customer. The customer service from the get-go was a red flag. The person on the phone was rude as can be. I was working on buying a truck on that side of the state and had a few quick questions. I wasnt trying to waste time but you came recommended. However, that level of rudeness turned me away.

Why do people take their trucks to the diesel shop? To get them fixed or worked on! If youre looking for a place thats gonna treat you right, get the job done and not screw you over this is the place to go! On numerous occasions Ive thought Ive needed things replaced on my truck come to find out I didnt. They dont just throw on parts unless they are needed, unlike most other places. Ive dealt with these guys on numerous occasions and every time its been a good experience. Diesel tech is honest, fair and compassionate about diesels. As long as I own a diesel I will take it to diesel tech!

I sell over 300 trucks a year and 90% are diesels. Diesel Tec is the only one that touches my trucks and I refer every customer of mine to them for any of their diesel needs. They are great at what they do and I highly recommend them.

Brought in my 2012 Chevy Silverado. After a week on the lift, they told me that there was nothing wrong with it. Took it right down the street, and surprise! Had a bad glow plug. Took em an hour. Do yourself a favor, and find a competent diesel mechanic. Heard on the news they arent even licensed. After my experience there, I wonder why!

Probably 99.9% of the post here are made up because the owner expressed his belief in Christ. I find it interesting that the people who claim to be tolerant (those posting false reviews here), are in fact extremely non-tolorant of anyone who does not think like they do. I would gladly take my truck here again as the work is excellent. Please dont be scared away by the Atheist Christen haters. They were weak minded when they went to our liberal higher education system and lost the ability to think for themselves. This is an outstanding business with outstanding service.

Diesel tech is one of the best diesel shops around period. I own a repair shop and this is who works on all my diesels including my personal truck. The personal views are a bit more conservative than mine but that doesnt give diesel tech a one star rating. We are rating on the service they provide. We live in america where speech is free. If you dont like it just dont go there. For diesel tech to have a 1.6 star rating is sad and people should be ashamed. That is not what google ratings are for. I rated 5 stars because as a business that is what they deserve.

I had one of my customers broke down in their area. There truck would not start unless they gave it a shot of ether. I sent them over to Dieseltec. I am always worried when I send someone to another shop. I was happy to find out that the customer just had a bad icp sensor. If I could give less than one star, I would. He put gasoline in my truck. It is a diesel. Diesel is in the name of the company. Refused to fix it after, not that I wanted them touching it again.

Just now seeing the owners remark that I havent been there. Well I had a service truck worked on by these guys when I was still with an old business partner a few years ago. Ended up having rework done a week later for the same issues. I really dont care if theyre a-holes (which they are) but why even question it when the service isnt worth the hassle? Actually quite surprised to see theyre still open. But Im not surprised theyre still having to defend themselves from their customers.

Installed a stack on my truck and it sounds great! Its a little low but that was my own fault they called me a couple weeks latter asking me how I liked it and they just wanted me to be happy with it they are a great group of guys that do great work!

I just had new injectors put in my bucket truck before leaving for a big job out of state. I just got back and never had an issue the whole time and the truck ran awsome!! No technician ever called me at work to authorize replacing the water pump. I was shocked when I picked up my truck that evening that they charged me $1500 total for the job, in addition to $100 for Christian service fee in my invoice on top of that. I noticed that they also increased their labor costs by 20% since they gained publicity... making up for loss in business??EDIT: I just realized after much research that Brian was arrested for assault and battery in the past. What a scum, will never do business with him again.

On the surface, you see a company who is taking a very controversial stance on political issues. Their views may reflect your own, they may not. You probably even feel a drive to react, either positively or negatively. Either way it drives you to take action (whether you decide thereafter to actually take action, or not… that’s another story). This gains notoriety for that company; you will remember the business that offended or compelled you. In that way, you take notice of that business; and businesses pay MILLIONS per year for advertising, attempting to accomplish just that. You see, attention, whether positive or negative, is still attention. Attention is publicity, and publicity = money.This company has taken a very public opinion on a very controversial subject. A person can be very tempted to assume that the company owner’s passion for the issue is their only motivation for the stance they’ve taken. Perhaps they do feel strongly about the subject, but if that were the only driving force, the owner would have spoken out as an individual, not a business.Let me propose another possible motivation; same situation, just another point of view. I had my F350 in to check an engine warning light. The tech says to come back after 45 minutes, so I left the work truck in the lot and took a walk down the street. I come back and they said they didnt have time to look at it. Really? 45 mins wasted, thanks for nothing. Visit was in 2017.

This place wrote up a $200 work order and when I went to pick up the truck... They asked me for $1800 in needed repairs. Let me know before you do that kind of work!!!

Well it started good, how ever for a whole year my truck has been in there 5 times for the same thing after they put a programer in it. They kept telling me this was wrong, that was wrong but yet I had them fixing it but the problem never went away. Then they told me the turbo was bad, took else were and they check it and said was working just fine, that it was the programmer and that they couldnt fix it.deisetec had to. took it back there and then it was the injection pump. $2300 later still dont work. now 4 phone calls and messages they dont return them, go figure. Fyi go some were else. They suck.

I informed him I dont own a firearm and proceeded to inquire about service on my vehicle. He is trying to use Christians to get easy money.This guy, who is a self proclaimed good christian, has been in and out of court on various charges including domestic violence, parole violations, fraud, etc. He has been walking a financial line and did this hoping for a massive pushback and then counter-effort via crowdfunding. In case # 1998-CM-0004393 he commits multiple crimes including beating a woman, failure to appear, parole violation, parole extended, assigned work crew duty (community service), has parole revoked.Not only that he has a very poor reputation on diesel truck forums dating back years. Shady dealings, work not done or not done properly. All his problems are easily verified by a cursory search.
