Staff here were incredibly friendly and the store was clean/pleasant. The only reason I took off a star is because the store was understaffed -I had a hard time receiving very much needed help and finally had to turn to the cashier who was also very busy.

April was incredibly helpful with finding a solution for my botched eyebrow tint from another salon! She showed me different products with various skill levels involved so I was able to find the perfect thing to cover it up and to keep using after the tint fades!

I love going to this location! Ive had great interactions with every worker I have encountered here. Last time I went in, I had an associate help me with finding a good foundation for my not so easy skin type.(very dry and sensitive skin) She thoroughly went over different brands and types of foundations she thought would work best for me and my skin. They are very pleasant and helpful people to be around!

Great Ulta store! Usually clean, with friendly staff, great service. Fantastic clearance area with so much stuff to get a bargain on! However theres very few staff during second shift around the luxury makeup, Im not sure if this is different earlier in the day, but I wish there were more people to help out.

First time visiting. Loved the atmosphere, and of course all the beauty products! The #1 thing I liked most about my shopping experience was that I was NOT hounded by employees while I shop. I was able to check out whatever I wanted, while going back and fourth a million times to different isles and was never once bugged, but I knew there was help nearby if needed. I highly recommend Ulta for ALL your beauty needs

I like this Ulta, however, last night I didnt have that great of an experience. I scheduled a blow out at the salon and got there a little early. My appointment was at 7:30 PM and after waiting about 10 minutes, all of which no one acknowledged I was even there, I was told that the staff who was supposed to do my blow out wasnt coming in because she wasnt scheduled. Note that I didnt specify a specific staff member to do my hair when scheduling online (Im not too picky), which leads me to believe they were short staffed to begin with and overbooked. They did give me a voucher for a free blow out next time I come in, however, that doesnt make up for the time I spent driving there (30 minutes). Its common courtesy to tell the person BEFORE they drive there that they dont have enough staff. I overheard the desk lady call the employee who was supposed to do my hair DURING MY APPOINTMENT TIME to see if she was even coming in. It seemed as though they knew she wasnt scheduled/or there was a probability she wasnt coming in and didnt bother to tell me before I drove all the way there. The staff was also a little offish. Bad vibes. Needless to say, Ive had better experiences at the other Ulta location salons and I dont think ill be coming back.

My daughter and I came in to buy makeup for my wedding day. Tyler was the associate helping us and he was completely amazing!!!!! We got exactly what we wanted and enjoyed every minute of his time. There are still a couple things to get, but have to wait til I am sure on my dress color first. But...we will come back and hopefully Tyler will be there again to assist us! Thank you Tyler! You are AMAZING!!! And...I kept within my budget as well...which is also amazing!

Don’t go to the salon here - they have no respect for your time at all. Got there at 3:20 for my 3:30 haircut, was told ‘she would be with my shortly’ and that she was just finishing up. Stood around waiting for 30 minutes, and at 3:50 was told it would be another 15 minutes until she could see me. I had other plans so I was not able to wait and had to leave without a haircut. I waited at least 30 minutes for no reason. And all I got was ‘I apologize’.

I always feel very welcomed when I visit this location! The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The salon services are fantastic as well. I never leave disappointed and any stylist that I have had takes the time to understand what I want so I leave feeling great. I never leave disappointed!

There selection seems to be unmatched as far as all things makeup and hair go. I tried the benifit brow bar and Amanda did a great job. She told me she does brows and eye lash extensions on the side at her house for much less too!!! I havent tried the salon yet so I dont know if thats any good. Over all place seems pretty good.

I only use prestige makeup so this is one of my favorite places. I can get my favorites here. The best eye shadow is urban decay by a landslide. It has so much pigment.

My husband and I weren’t greeted upon entering. We diligently searched for the product we needed unassisted. The staff were busy chatting to one another and visiting to notice our struggles.A big guy with a purse and a few women were just not attentive staff at this location. We found what we were searching for except a eye shadow palette was not available. Sold out it turned out,the shelf was empty. I wouldn’t return to this store in the future. The staff on this visit would rather have social hour with each other rather than acknowledge the customer. Very unprofessional unpleasant experience.

Love Ulta, rated 4 stars bexause I wish staff were more available to assist with things like color matching and recommendations. Ive been in multiple times and I feel like if I want assistance, I need to ask every time.

I have been going to this Ulta store for quite a while but have never visited the salon. I have had the same stylist for 17 years was in desperate need of a change . I was very nervous about some one else doing my hair. But I just cannot say enough good thinks about Kelly. She did an ABSOLUTE amazing job on my hair. As I was going from a bright Magenta to a violet orchid which is not an easy task and she did beautiful job. I have already made a follow up appointment with her. She is just an amazing stylist and person.

Not only is it conveniently by my house but they always usually carry everything I need and at a great price I love that they have the coupons they send me in the mail, the product that does not torture animals which means a lot to me being an animal lover and advocate! Got the brow service and was blown away. It was not your typical wax. She asked me what I wanted to see. She outlined my brows and had me inspect to see if it was the shape I wanted. Then she made it happen. Seriously worth the money.

This is a pretty good ulta as far as hair products go, but for makeup their selection is not the best they are always out of stock on things and to get a hold of someone to help me is the worst... they also never want to check the back for stock when i ask them.

I called to see if I needed an appointment to get my eyebrows done and was told no I told them I was about 45 minutes away and on my way. I get here and the girl is doing someone’s brows I wait and when she’s done I ask if I can get my eyebrows done and she says “unfortunately I just took my last client for the day” well that’s awesome I’m glad I called first and drove all the way out here for nothing!!!!

The lighting in there is terrible (too dark) so I couldnt tell what matched my skin or not. Also, a lot of the sample products were missing, and what was there was old and yucky... Because of this I was extremely turned off from buying anything... But I think almost every worker I passed asked if I needed any help so that was good! If it was not for the nice staff this would have received only one star...

Love Ulta. However compare prices with target or other stores. Ive found the same thing at Target for $5 less

I have been going to this location to see Sam about my skin. She helped me realize that I was using the wrong number of Clinique 3-Step based on a Macy’s recommendation. She also got me a great exfoliant to add to my routine and has helped turn my skin around. I now have a standing appointment for a facial with her every six weeks. She is incredible at what she does.

Great products to choose from, but they only had one of each item that I usually get at a drugstore. Not My Mothers brand.

I came to this location because it was closer to my house to look for the gloss that another employee at the Ulta in eastbrook mall assisted me with and they were not helpful at all! I told them I dont know much about colors and needed help and all they can do it point me in directions of the store. I wilwill definitely not suggest this location...

I go to the Grandville Ulta for all my make up needs. I never thought about salon services until I watched a beautiful, young girl styling a clients hair and adding fun colors. My hair is a disaster! Dry, damaged, thin, over processed and kinda hopeless. On a whim I asked Kelly if she could do something for my hair. I came in for the first cut and was surprised how fun and relaxing she was and am hooked. Not only did I love my haircut but I tried out a ten minute facial done by Sam. I have never been treated so special by two young ladies or been so spoiled! Im now a regular six week client!Im 59 and bored with feeling old. My hair is now healthy after years of abuse. Ive taken all Kellys advice on haircare and products and am thrilled with the results! Yesterday Kelly talked me into trying fashion colors. Because of my age I was kind of hesitant but being an Artist could not go without trying it once in my life. She added a beautiful purple with pink under my blonde and I absolutely LOVE IT! I so enjoyed my time in her chair. Seeing Kelly along with Sam is my happy place! If you are looking for a refreshing haircut or color, Kelly is your girl! Im feeling like a new person!PS. Try the new Facial service with Sam! Its an amazing experience and a great way to spoil yourself.

Its s good store with high-end and drugstore makeup in one place. But it isnt very organized and there arent many workers on the floor.

Recommend highly because you can usually find what youre looking for but, you better have money, its a little pricey.

Tyler at the Lancome Counter is A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.!!! He is so knowledgeable and a wonderful no-pressure salesman; he knows the product will speak for itself and the demos are done with pleasure. Get a customized skin care facial...I tried the Absolue line and will never go back to any other brand or line!

Ugh, it is always more stressful than it should be to schedule services. Kristina (brow expert) is fantastic and unfortunately when I try to schedule anything with her, people answering the phone seems to be clueless. Ive scheduled appointments, showed up and was never added to their books and was told to go else where. Very frustrating to say the least.

Even if I REALLY didnt like you I could not, in good conscience, recommend this salon to you. Its the worst decision Ive made regarding my hair since the grunge era. To top it off, the customer service of their management team is beyond abhorrent. Save yourself and your locks and go elsewhere.

I went out to Ulta to buy lipstick that would last all night for halloween. The first person I tried to talk to about the lipstick and some hair chalk I wanted, said we dont have it while walking away. I tried to talk to two other people who avoided me, finally I got someone to help me, who then assumed that I was poor and I couldnt afford the expensive makeup. As I was putting my stuff back, because of how rude they were to me, a lady followed me, to make sure I wasnt stealing. I heard her say I didnt have the lipstick in my hand. Sephora never treats me like this, Im just going there from now on, they actually care for their customers.

Nobody will even acknowledge you when you walk in, if you need help you have to hunt someone down whose just chit chatting with a co worker. When youre checking out, the cashier doesnt even say anything, puts the receipt on the counter and walks away to go talk with other co workers. Such a bad attitude throughout all the workers here.

So much makeup! If you ever need anything beauty related, this is your store! I shop here for cosplay makeup usually and they do not dissipoint! But be careful, its really easy to spend a ton of money here!

Took my sister to the salon called ahead was quoted 2 hours for a cut and color and blow out for 75$ Special. at the 2 hour Mark she hadnt even rinsed out the color yet. I complained to the manager (Melissa) who was combative,argumentive,extremely rude,interruption need I continue? Melissa asked if I wanted her to step in and speed things up I replied yes. I expressed myself to the manager that was putting stock away none of them did anything including the salon manager. she then says were finished we will blow dry her hair and you can leave. Really? insult to injury? she said my store manager (Misty ) said you need to leave once we blow dry her hair. the color was 2 shades too dark, she had color stains across her fore head when I brought that up she said it will lighten after 2 shampoos.... REALLY? I WILL be calling and speaking to a district manager. YOU WILL fix what you messed up. I did get upset in the store I did say this is bullshit I did say I shouldnt have to settle for amature results/experience.... at one point the manager said we have people working our salon with different levels of experience...... so we have to request someone with experience? Im confused Ive never been more displeased with a service in my life. unprofessional unacceptable!

I had an awful expierece in the salon. 6 hours and $230 dollars later my hair looked the exact same. When I asked for some sort of compensation for my time I was told to be an adult by the general manager.

I absolutely LOVE Ulta..but unfortunately, the staff here was not nearly as friendly as they are at my local store in Benton Harbor. Considering I am a diamond member and spend over $300 a month at Ulta stores and about $100 online..I enjoy getting a small sample no matter what it is when I shop there. My local Ulta recognizes my loyalty and the amount I spend during each visit and they always reward my loyalty and purchase amount with some sort of free sample. Even if its just a tiny fragrance sample or a tiny sample of lotion...when shopping online you get a small sample with your order...even if your order is only $25...I saw the open cabinets full of little samples and the girl that checked me out said she had nothing....it was disappointing not to get the little extras I always look forward to getting when shopping in the store. Right before I went to Ulta I was at Sephora and they gave me my birthday gift..even though my birthday was in July and Ive never shopped at that particular Sephora branch before but When they pulled up my beauty insider account and saw my loyalty to their company they rewarded me. Small things like that continue to keep me returning to businesses and remaining a loyal customer. I assumed by achieving diamond status with Ulta I could rely on the company no matter the location to continue to reward me for being such a loyal customer. Especially when I am dropping $300 a visit. I will probably not shop at this Ulta again and stick to my main branch in Benton Harbor or go to Sephora instead. Unfortunately with my work schedule Im not typically able to visit my local Ulta but was attempting today to try and remain a loyal customer by visiting the Ulta close to where I work. However since Sephora is less than 3 minutes away from the Ulta I shopped at today I will probably go there instead and shop at Ulta in my home town when and if I get a chance with my busy work schedule. Like i said before...I love Ulta...and I love shopping there...but not when the staff treats me like garbage. Its unfortunate that I will no longer be spending as much money there as I used too.

Best beauty store around. I am now proud to be an employee of one of my favorite places to shop. The rewards system is like no other Ive ever come across. I see people come in with anywhere from $3-$285 (the highest ive seen personally but you can build into thousands) in rewards poo ts which is the same as in store credit. You can use your points as in store credit to save on any product in the store! And now they have a master card so you can earn points even faster. 1 point for every $3 spent on any purchase made outside of ulta and DOUBLE points on all in store purchases! What a great concept! Love the innovative thinking of ulta superiors!

Id rather shop at the Ulta on alpine. The girls are rude and very stuck up. I asked for help about a two faced product. And the girl looked at me like I was disgusting and treated me like I couldnt afford what I was looking for. I didnt appreciate the attitude she gave me either. I will never shop in this store again. And I was constantly asked if I needed help with anything like every 3 minutes from this other lady and she kept following me around and making me feel very uncomfortable. So because of the unpleasant experience there shopping I will never come back.

At my recent visit to buy makeup, I was very uncomfortable when during checkout, the cashier called up a 6 foot plus guy associate dressed as a woman to ask where he got his nails done. I`m very disappointed that you have chosen to represent your company in this way. It certainly sends a clear message. I will not be shopping at your store anymore. Nor will my daughter and granddaughter.
