Easy to use, friendly staff, competitive prices. With so many choices for storage these days this is up at the top of my list.

The staff is friendly and helpful. They responded to me quickly and had a space available for us at a great price. They also have Saturday office hours, which I found wasn’t the case with other storage companies in this area-that was a HUGE help to us! The unit is clean and it’s super easy to access with the app. I definitely recommend their service.

Online rates are great! Daisy was helpful and made sure we had a great experience. The computer system didnt save our info and Kevin had to re-enter all the info. I didnt mind waiting, but maybe look into working on new computers.

Just started storing our travel trailer here. Nice secure site, with a location that was really convenient. What led me to leave a review was the outstanding customer service we received from Daisy. She answered every question we had and was very helpful throughout the process of getting set up. Beyond that, she really seemed eager to help us -- she didnt seem to just be going through the motions. I think she could start a side gig consulting for other businesses who need help improving their customer service.

Rented for over 2 years here just this last time. Never had any issues and I’m very grateful for the service that was provided. Daisy was amazing and did an excellent job helping us get set up and make changes when needed - moving out was an easy process without any complications also!

This facility is highly trained in customer service and provided my wife and I with the best moving experience of our lives. The first place I went to was supposed to open at 9:30. There was still no one there at 9:45 & no answer on the phone! VERY poor practice! I then phoned Extra Space on Spartan Industrial in Grandville, MI. The two ladies I spoke with (Cindy & Daisy) were BEYOND kind! Cindy reserved a unit for me until Im ready & both ladies fully explained the rental process! I DEFINITELY recommend renting from them!!! Thank you ladies!

I ordered my unit online. Very happy with that experience. When I got to my unit, the door was hard to unlock. I mentioned it to the staff, and they right away went to the unit and was able to make it easier to unlock.

ExtraSpace has become our go-to place for storage needs. The primary reason is the staff we have met so far, Daisy H & Steve S. They have been accommodating, provided clear and concise information, are knowledgeable of the company’s policies and charges, and are very friendly. Despite the social distancing protocols that have prevented us from seeing them up close, these are kind of folks that you just want to take out for dinner and get to know. If it were for no other reason to do business with ExtraSpace Storage in Grandville, MI, working with these fine people would be enough.The secondary reason for working with ExtraSpace was a more pragmatic and financial one. They had the size of unit we were initially looking for and the location in the SW area of the Grand Rapids metro area was ideal. The ExtraSpace offer re the first month’s rent is a great incentive, too. The competitors we contacted did not offer this either, which set the hook deeper!We highly recommend ExtraSpace for storage needs. Look up Daisy & Steve if you go there. Steve and Daisy were great to work with. Both were extremely friendly, and not at all pushy. The process was smooth and the location is clean. I also love that the units are not accessible after 10pm and before 6am. I think this keeps unwanted actions and potential theft from happening in the late hours of the night. Definitely recommend!

I am a student at a local college and the plans for living and working are always changing rapidly. In desperation for storage, due to changes in living arrangements, I called several local storage facilities and I either could not reach them, they were too expensive, or required a large deposit. Extra Space Storage was entirely different. I called and spoke to a gentleman in Utah who spent just enough time talking to me about the basics and the perfect most polite amount of time asking me about my situational reason for requiring a unit, matching me with one that fit my needs, and further asking how school was going. After a highly enjoyable customer service phone call with the Utah representative I received a phone call from the Grandville location where communication between the state lines was clearly not an issue since I received the very same excellently personable service as my first phone call. Most importantly I did not have to repeat the information from my first call, they knew my whole story rather than me answering repetitive questions. My unit was reserved without payment and I was given enough time before making a decision due to my student expectations at the time. I am a business student and it is easy to press the books and hear about the way you SHOULD run a business while you rarely see it being done that way, HOWEVER, Extra Space is the most genuinely personable customer serving business I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. I have suggested them to all of my college friends searching for storage and I am suggesting them to whomever reads this review. I will continue to promote them because they are old school American service and we need more of that.Thank you Extra Space, keep up the good work!

The staff member we dealt with was not only incredibly positive and upbeat but trustworthy and patient. Do bring proof of renters insurance though if you prefer not to spend an extra $11 a month or waste time in their office trying to get your proof of insurance

I have used extra space storage twice now and both times have been a very smooth process. Prices are good, units are very clean, and the employees are nice and easy to talk to. Would definately recommend to anyone in need of quick storage in the grandville area!

THE PRICES INCREASED DRAMATICALLY

DO NOT STORE YOUR ITEMS HERE. This place is good at one thing and one thing only - getting you to store your stuff there. Then its an absolute mess.For starters, understand that every 6 months they will send you a post card in the mail telling you that your rate will increase. After 2.5 years, they always continued to raise my rate - one time by as much as $5.56/month. Thats over $66 more per year. You can call and protest the rate change, however, 1) dont expect to get a call back. Ive had to call over and over again (always leaving a message) until they finally call me back. Once they do call you back, they will only make a deal with you to raise your rate by half the amount they originally quoted. Not only is this annoying, but its a painful process no one should have to go through.Also, make sure you have your own home owners or renters insurance. They will ONLY allow you to store your items if you have your own insurance or they will make you purchase their insurance. They never told me this when I first moved my items in so I didnt have my proof of renters insurance. So I had to buy theirs as I had my truck and trailer full of items when I arrived. They said I could bring in my insurance - which I did later that same day - but they still charged me. It took a lot of phone calls and a month to get that money back.So please, save yourself the time and hassle and store your items at a different facility.

My son and I arrived @5:30pm last Friday night in a snow storm and werent sure what to expect- Joe was waiting for us in the office and proceeded to walk us through the entire rental process including a golf cart ride to and back from our storage unit - we never felt rushed and appreciated the time and patience extended to us by Joe when Im sure he was ready to call it a day and week - Daisy subsequently remedied a small problem with the unit for me on the following Monday morning, overall a very good first impression and experience to report !

I came to rent space to store a vehicle on 2-5-2018. I was assisted by Steve who went over and beyond his job responsibilities to help me. He helped me find the right space size and best price for my budget, came by to check on me while I prepped the vehicle for the long storage and assisted when he noticed I needed help. All this during freezing temperatures, deep snow and icy conditions. Its employees like Steve that make customers like me stay committed to a company.
