Was inviting from even the outside. For a family owned you can see it is clean, the staff friendly and ran with standards. The decor is cute. Tried the banana split which by the way they serve 2 ways!! Traditional or you can make your own with different ice cream and topping I believe... They had several types of ice cream with cute names!! Looks so yummy! I personally just wanna say thank you for the experience. 😊

So much fun. Product speaks for its self. Service and staff is fast,but you can sample anything you want. You go through as fast or slow as you want. Staff is SO FRIENDLY. Best little ice cream shop in town! Cheaper prices than your local dairy queen and better ice cream options. Staff is very friendly and not annoyed that you dont know what to order. They also add a patty scoop which is an extra little scoop of whatever flavor you want for free. For our family of 3 it was $15. They are also kid friendly with sizes. You dont have to pay for an adult size ice cream for your little ones. They have junior sizes for the kids. Great place!

I found this place on accident. And it was the greatest little ice cream shop so far. The ice cream is smooth. Not to mention all the flavors. Its really the old fashion feel. I love it.

Hockey has once again led us to a delicious amazing locally owned and run business! PaddyShack drew us in with their witty name and alluring flavors and they did not disappoint. Ice cream was delicious!! Fabulous texture and to me, just the right amount of sweetness. They have excellent Covid protocols and all staff masked. Staff were super friendly and also happened to be the owners. Just a few minutes from Notre Dame and easy on/off access to tollway. So glad they were open today! A must stop for sure and don’t forget to ask for your Paddy Scoop!

These guys are the best and their ice cream is delicious!! We can into town for a quick getaway and they will be what ice cream is now staked up against. We got the pail to go. Great choice. It had everything we needed cups, cones, scopper, and tones of topping!! They even when and got us some candles for a birthday. Love these guys!!

My family and I went here this past Friday. Staff were kind and were patient with us since it was our first time here. The ice cream was good, but while eating it, my son found a long piece of hair in his ice cream cone. Gross, but we didnt say anything......until he found another one! I showed the hair to the workers, who seemed disgusted themselves. They never offered to get a new one (different flavor) or anything. My son was being kind trying to eat his, but as soon as we got in the car he handed it to my husband and said he didnt want it.

Service leaves something to be desired. I paid for the Party Pail, she only had to grab the cups and the cones. Another customer came in she stopped making my order and help the man that came in. I asked if I was all set she said not yet. The nice man told her to go ahead and finish with me. She tells him no thats okay it wouldnt take her long to get his order. To top it off she did not wash her hands before putting my cones in the bag, after she waited on him. If this is how they treat some customers I will not be going back.

My girlfriend and I are big fans of this place... they sell icecream from Wisconsin (Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream) and I have to say it is very delicious. The staff is always very friendly and this is truly now a Granger icon 1 year in.... The only bad thing is there ice cream rotates so they dont always sell Loaded French Toast which leads to the bittersweet (pun intended) moment of trying to icecream flavors

Great and helpful staff. Very energetic and eager to wait on our larger size party and the unique challenges we present. Very thankfull for their patience as we learned their choices and flavors. We all had ice cream but the bubble tea and pizza looked very interesting. Some of us will have to go back and try these out another time.

First of all, I would like to begin by saying I am extremely disappointed. I had only heard good things about this establishment, but when I arrived it was quite the opposite. First of all, the whole dining and service area is disgusting. During my whole experience I never saw a single surface, except for the occasional counter-top wipe down. The hand rail should be wiped down after a child with their hand in their mouth touches it. The service was lackluster, and the staff was mostly rude teenagers. Maybe I just chose the wrong day to visit? Idk.

This place was great! Their ice cream is absolutely top notch. They have a wide variety of flavors as well. I opted for the cookie dough.They give you a “paddy scoop” as well, which is a small little bit of another flavor of ice cream on top of your normal flavor.The staff was really nice and very inviting as well!

We like way more than the new Chief ice cream and Vanilla Beanery. Both of those places have no flavor to their ice cream. Vanilla Beanery is expensive. The Chief is too loud. Our first time in they were allowing a young soccer team to hold a meeting in-doors where 15 plus kids and their parents took all of the seating and were yelling really loudly. We could barely hear the girls on the other side of the counter. It was not a pleasant experience. The ice cream was also not very flavorful. We wont be back there. Paddyshack is a cute shop with interesting and different flavors of ice cream that rotate weekly. The workers are always incredibly nice. Im a huge fan of kitty kitty bang bang and theyre different fruit cheesecake flavors. They are decently priced too. And you a punch card every time you get ice cream.

Our family lives in South Bend by the bypass but well happily drive all the way out to Granger past all the ice cream options to go to PaddyShack. Why do we love PaddyShack? Because they have dairy free options AND are nut allergy friendly. Everything is clearly labeled and everyone is so nice! The flavors are fantastic and who doesnt love a PaddyScoop where you can try another flavor to try for next time! Our toddlers love seeing all the colorful tubs and they LOVE sitting on the cowch (the cow couch).Thanks to the PaddyShack team and see you soon!

I have been to PaddyShack a few times at the time of this review. They have excellent ice cream. One of the few ice cream parlors in the area. Their ‘single’ cones fill up the cone with a scoop on top to boot. If you get a double, you can mix flavors. Everything comes with their signature Paddy scoop which is basically a cookie dough scooper worth of whichever flavor you choose; on top of your original choice(s). Additionally, they offer tastes/samples for the indecisive. ‘Exhausted Parent’ all day.

Just had to report an amazing experience. I called to see if they were open (the usual: covid19, Memorial Day, etc...) and did not get an answer, so I assumed they were closed and hung up. Received an immediate call back! They were open, so off my wife and I traveled to PaddyShack for ice cream!My wife chose Exhausted Parent (simple perfection) and I picked my childhood favorite, Superman. The portions are generous, the prices are as expected since this is NOT cheap ice cream, but it is affordable.There is zero nutritional information on the pints we purchased. Each pint has a message that, If you want nutrition, eat a carrot! Well said, well said.Do not miss an opportunity to get a cone for the road and a pint for home. And no, my wife and I didnt share but a taste. Excellent service, a fair price for excellent ice cream, a must-stop while driving by. Make the trip; well worth it.

My wife and I were elated to discover there was an ice cream shop serving Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream near us. The ice cream at Paddy Shack is amazing. They have awesome seasonal flavors as well so come back often to see whats new! Weve tried a large portion of the offerings and have yet to encounter one we didnt find amazing. The service and atmosphere were also fantastic. Really good ice cream is one of lifes great pleasures and this is really really good ice cream.
