Josh at the Granite City store was super personable and knowledgeable in setting up my new phone. Apparently my old phone and my new phone was not communicating properly and he was able to do a workaround in order to get everything to transfer over. Awesome job Josh!

Even though I have been coming here for years, I am surprised everyone I come in with an issue. They are always listening and have helped me figure out what can be done. Last I was in they fixed a bug with an update. Now I can go back to using all the apps. I never fret going in. Pleasant experience every time I go in.

Ive had excellent service since Ive been with Verizon. This is the first time Ive upgraded my phone, though. Allysa was super to work with. She made everything I needed to happen seem so simple. She set my new phone up and answered all of my questions. There was a young man also working while I was there. He was very helpful also. They were both very friendly and worked very well as a team. The sales staff were a pleasure to work with. They sincerely are nice people. I was VERY Disappointed at my options however. With a remaining balance of $73 on my phone, my options were A) pay a $199 deductible and wait until early next week to receive a replacement I-Phone X. or B) pay off the I-Phone X and upgrade to an I-Phone 12. It’s a very difficult economy. I FULLY expected Apple to do a far better job of standing by their product. Especially since the touchscreen is a known issue for the I-Phone X. I’m extremely disappointed in Apple!! It DEFINITELY will affect my future buying plans. I now have ANOTHER phone to pay off. But I have serious doubts as to wether my next phone will be an I -Phone, and I’m almost positive that it will NOT be with Verizon!! I did what I had to do because I had little choice. However, when I’m in a position to explore other options...... I will!Verizon and Apple do a terrible job of taking care of their customers. Regardless how long you’ve been a customer, their only concern is how deep they can get into your pocket. But that isn’t the sales staffs fault. They did their job very well.

Well going to get new phone for parents. Josh helped us. Helped us but not very friendly. Asked about numbers but would not give full price in detail before purchasing. Sure, he knows about store and technology but customer service is key. Didnt make us feel special. Who cares if you worked 100 days without vacation. Thats The job you picked. Make my experience count at the store. Opted to buy accessories else where because of it. But he reminded us we will be back to get cases and what not. Umm ever hear of amazon. Indifferent attitude. Wont be back. Recommend going to another verizon store.

Terrible customer service, I have had repeated negative experiences with rude staff. Jake is absolutely in the wrong field, he is not hospitable, interrupts consistently trying to answer a question that we havent finished asking. This is the third occasion that Jake has been rude and impatient. At the end of the conversation he realized he was wrong in the info he was arguing with us over, but still did not apologize or acknowledge that he was out of line. Josh the owner/GM is polite and accommodating, obviously understanding customer service and how to be kind.They are usually understaffed and thats what seems to trigger Jake becoming overwhelmed with simple questions and tasks. He may be an electronics or IT superstar, however he is the polar opposite of how a customer service representative should represent Verizon or any other company.I always steer people away from this location and will continue to do so as long as this is their standard.I stopped going there a few years ago, opting to go to Edwardsville to a corporate store. On the rare occasion that I am in a rush and have a very remedial task that I need assistance with, I will go to this location. Unfortunately the common theme of rude, impatient, overwhelmed staff is confirmed yet again.
Excellent customer service. They helped me fix the problem that no one else would... not even the main Verizon folks. They did it knowing they werent making any money off me either. I will definitely be back at this place when its time to upgrade
Total bait and switch sales. Your actual bill will be far higher than these salesmen tell you. Jake Edwards, Trent, and the manger. Are just used car salesman. Do your self a favor go to a actual Verizon corporate store in Edwardsville. None of the discounts they said they had signed us up for, were actually on the bill from Verizon. When we went back in to question them about the over priced bill. The manger said they had never offered us the discounts.(the 55 and over). We even asked to us are employer discount. They said we would get more bang for our buck with the 55 and over. Now we have neither discount. The store it’s self looks like a fly by night shop. Only a few old model phones on hand. Most of the displays are broken, some even laying against the wall. The manager is a total a$$ whip. We watched him disrespect another couple would had questioned there service. Even when Jake spoke up to tell the manger that they had promised to get her a replacement phone. The manager said no we didn’t.Bottom line this is a shady place to do business do so at your own risk.M.S.

After 2 weeks of horrible experiences with Sprint, Matthew and the Verizon staff, got my entire 5 person family. He saved us hundreds in the process. He had to work for hours getting things done and made sure it was completed each time, and always answered my questions. We are customers for life.
