Great doughnuts but your going to pay high prices. Almost 20 bucks for 3 doughnuts 1 small coffee. Coffee just brewed regular nothing special, but doughnuts are good.

Love this place!! They have THE best apple fritter I have ever tasted. Always fresh, never greasy. Staff is constantly helpful and friendly. I was in a sling the last time I visited, and she carried my box of donuts out to my car. Service like that is rare, and I want to say a great big THANK YOU!

If there were more than 5 stars I would give it. The donuts are huge, freshly made and more importantly absolutely delicious! I would drive to Grants Pass just for these donuts and friendly atmosphere.

Excellent selection of donuts, and they taste great too. I had a couple of chocolate iced bars filled with whipped cream. The employee who assisted us was friendly and patient with the 4 of us while we stood in shock at the sight of so much sugary goodness.

Called in early in the morning to order 2 dozen regular chocolate and maple donuts for a birthday party for pick up later on in the day. I paid $30, which I personally feel is quite a lot for donuts but was happy to support a local business. Every other donut shop here in Grants Pass is under $1 per donut and even less than that for a dozen when it’s all said and done. When I got to the party with the donuts I opened them and realized they’re not what I had ordered but continued on with the party since it would have been a total inconvenience to go back to the store, and I really didn’t think it was that big of a deal. I have a blueberry allergy, there were blueberry donuts in the boxes. After the party I called in letting them know the order was incorrect and simply asked for a partial refund for the inconvenience. The employee I spoke with continuously interrupted me while I was talking, to the point that all of the above being explained took well over 10 minutes to complete the conversation. My husband actually interrupted the employee and asked her to not interrupt me, as I continued to have to repeat myself. The store owner actually called back within a few minutes and I was immediately met with a very negative attitude towards me as a customer. I asked her if her employee had told her anything that I had said just to keep it short and simple, she very rudely said “I’d rather you just tell me”. That’s fine. I let her know I thought it was quite a bit of money for 24 donuts and she interrupted explaining it isn’t and why. I explained the situation and she said “so you told my employee you had a blueberry allergy and you got blueberry donuts”. I said no, I told the second employee I spoke with when I explained my order was incorrect. She rudely said “no you just told me you said you had an allergy and now you’re telling me you didn’t so which is it” and began mumbling something I couldn’t understand under her breath. Very clearly not listening intently to the customers concern. She basically asked me to tell her what I wanted and I said I would like a partial refund because of the inconvenience. She asked me where the donuts were and I said I took them to the party, I wasn’t going to drive all the way back to the store just to return them, and I really didn’t think I needed too (I mean, COVID. Are you going to turn around and resell donuts that were already in someone else’s home and vehicle?!). She said “let me explain something to you, that’s not how this works. When you buy a product you return it if you want your money back. I’m not giving you your money back, I don’t have my donuts”. I offered her constructive criticism explaining that in the future as the owner of the business, she should really take complaints and listen to the customer - to which she interrupted me and said “oh so you think I’m not listening to you”. Not at any point did I discredit her, I let her know I can see her side but that the amount of professionalism she was displaying was going to end up causing her to lose customers. I understand where she is coming from but at no point did she offer anything other than a refund. She simply wanted the donuts back or kick rocks. She very clearly has zero concern for her customers feelings. I understand these are hard times, she can keep the $30 I really don’t care at this point. Just know that if you go here and you have an issue, it will not be resolved easily, if at all. I really feel that she escalated the situation and made it a lot bigger than it needed to be in the end.

Used to like this place. Went on my usual donut run and they were closed for two weeks straight. Came back on December 7th and didnt realize they raised prices. 8 donuts for $18.50? Thats a real deal breaker for me. Theres no reason why a custard filled long John should be $3.00. Service is good, which is a real shame. The owner needs to reevaluate prices. Cant see how theyll stay in business.

They make the most awesome donuts. Itand I had to have one of their donuts a is extremely difficult to find a donut as good as The Jelly Donut makes. I have been eating low carb for 2 yrs as a out of this world treat!

Fantastic donuts huge variety if you go early. Sweet cashier and lovely customers gather here. Prices a bit high for me but every now and then is worth it. Clean place plenty of eating space if you decide to stay and eat. My favorite the Bavarian filled maple crumble you gotta try it!

Not much to say about this place. They are a donut store and they indeed have donuts. The only reference I have as far as donut shops are concerned is dunkin donuts, and this place definitely had a better selection than them. The person behind the counter was friendly and not annoying and the two donuts I got filled me up for hours. Ill be back!

The best donuts Ive had in YEARS!! And so HUGE!! When I saw how big they were, I thought they were going to be big bucks...but they werent! And since Id never been there before, she gave me a FREE ONE!! And the shop is really cute. You can eat right there inside, and have some coffee too😊Give them a try... Delicious donuts. I like the fruit flavored frosting on raised donuts. The chocolate cake donut was light and moist. Definitely worth the stop on our drive through Oregon. Jelly Donut is one of the best donut bakeries. Keep up the excellence!

Todays service was a full 5 stars. The selection wasnt as good as usual (9:15 am) but that happens so no complaint there. I do think the jelly filled donuts need to be filled better. Almost every time I get these there is only a small amount of filling. Donuts are cooked well and tasty.

If Im heading to Grantspass for a early appointment, I stop in and grab some fresh donuts and milk.... not the healthiest breakfast but sure hits the spot for a sweet tooth... a good selection of donuts & Pastries

Theyve changed things up over the years, but what doesnt change is how especially moist and delicious their fresh donuts are. These guys are one of the best at what they do, and they do donuts. I suggest getting a dozen for the office sometime, a guaranteed hit.

Not the huge selection of this superstore in major cities, but amazing to see in Medford Oregon. Not only do they offer the capability to bring instruments from other stores here, but there are people on staff who can support, repair, and set up all this equipment for use. Come in, talk to them and see they are really professionals.

Ive been in there 3 times now, all at night, and 3 consistently negative experiences. I understand nighttime isnt the apex of donut buying hour, but its when Im free, and I like to go out for a treat occasionally. The woman working by herself always seems bothered by the presence of customers, and the selection is regularly slim pickings. Again, I realize its late, but the hours you are open should dictate the quality of your service. One star.

Donuts were so very good! Only have tried this place once so its potential is a 5 star, but that coupled with the fact that we didnt have a ton of donuts to choose from(granted we got there around 10:30am and looked to be only 1 person working), make it a 4 star. The service was great and the store was clean. I will recommend as a must have for anyone traveling to the area.

The maple glazed raised donut is the best I’ve ever had. You won’t be disappointed, soooo good. From Illinois passing through Grants Pass Oregon camping, saw this little place, looked at reviews and glad I didn’t listen to the bad ones. Wish I would have taken a few extra with me.

The donuts are good but every time weve been they dont have any glaze donuts. Doesnt matter what time we go. But they have really big apple fritters so thats good. We are changing our rating from 4*s to 2*s because after coming hear a handful of times in the 3 weeks we’ve been in GP, the two ladies that work there aren’t friendly and have poor customer service. Makes it a bummer to come in. And the last time we went we noticed how bad it smells there so we won’t be back unfortunately.

Very good donuts. Prices for speciality donuts was very high in my opinion. A donut should not cost more than $3. And certainly not $3.75! It was just a lemon blueberry filled donut. Cant be so special it cost almost 5 bucks. I do like getting the day old boxes of donuts because you get about a dozen for $5. Thats more on par for donut prices in my book. But who knows, maybe the prices are going up... Nah

Awesome. Some of the sugar drips out of the donuts. We can only assume its because everything is so fresh. Absolutely wonderful. I recommend trying the strawberry with cream cheese bear claw.

We were stuck at the led Schwab sense 10pm. Looked for a place that had fresh donuts on yelp. Here you go the best freshly made donuts I ever had. My selection was a dozen donut hole and a lemon filled. If I thought I could try allot them I would have. The size of the cinnamon roll was amazing along with the apple fritter. The choices were endless. Thank you for the outstanding service and sweet treat to better my day.

Recently donuts at this place have become really small and just not so good. Plus the cost has gone way up. I bought 4 small pastries and it was 10 dollars. Apple fritters are still great, but not enough for me to buy my pastries and donuts elsewhere.

I went in, saw a huge jelly donut, asked what it was, bought it, ate it. Loved every bite and was happy with everything from the quality to the price, to the speed that I got my food. Truly 5/5.

Stopped last evening after church. Bought a donut & an apple fritter. No apples in it, just cinnamon & very bitter. I dont think the young lady behind the counter knows what an apple fritter is. I was really disappointed. However the donut was quite good.

False advertising, not open 24 hours, no jelly donuts when I was in earlier either. Worst part, three out of the nine donuts I purchased here were raw! Of course I didnt know this until I got all the way home and bit into one. When I went back to the store, the only lady working there (name unknown) claimed she wasnt allowed to give refunds (we never got a receipt either). She admit the batch she made was raw after we brought this to her attention and even so would only offer more donuts instead of a refund. Anyone in their right mind would know thats just insanity. Funny thing is, there was a paper on the door stating that they were looking for a new Baker, Im not surprised. Its pretty sad when third worlders could bake donuts and the locals cant. This business is a classic example of why Grants Pass continues to go downhill. Hopefully I dont get salmonella.

Terrible doughnuts and pastries, the clear glaze was more like a dripping syrup. They had a sign in the window stating they need a new baker. They couldnt be more right. It used to be the place for a great donut. No telling who owns it these days. I can only ask that they please do better. The Jelly Donut had been a part of our Sunday morning ritual for over 20 yrs. 😯

I have been a customer at Jelly Donut for over 30 years. I use to take my children there when they were little. Now grown and taking their children there. Unfortunately for the past year things have declined considerably. They are closed due to no baker, always advertising for a baker and the donut quality has gone down hill. I frequently stop in to buy donuts for the crew at my work. I will no longer be going there. The quality is bad and they raised their prices. I dont mind paying more if the donut is worth it they arent. i will changing to donutland I feel very sad about this but i cant justify the extra $ for the lack of quality. I will say the lady that is working there is very kind.
