Go to five Fox firearms if you want to bear minimum in-service. I bought some ammo there because everyone else was sold out. I later found out that the 5 boxes of 50 round 223. I bought for $68.00 each were normally sold at around $35.00 each. I was treated very rudely when I kindly asked to return them and was told to find a different gun shop. This is after I had just spent over two thousand dollars in his shop just a day prior. Talk about customer appreciation. There’s a reason they still had 223. Simply price gouging. Go to the Armory. Go to Best Buy. Anywhere else will give you fair ammo prices.
I purchased a S&W performance 2.0 EZ 9mm. Awesome experience. Diane was very helpful and purchase was flawless. Had approval in 2min. They do Gun Broker auction transfers also. I will be going there anytime I go to Grants Pass. A+++++
First time at Fox firearms the ladys were very friendly great customer service thanks for the box of 243 ammo ladys your the best
Visited this shop recently, no customers in the store. I stood there 3 ft from what I presume is the owner and his family for 10 minutes and at no point did they acknowledge my presence nor attempt in any way to help. Too bad for them as I was ready to buy a couple of guns. In my book thats horrible sales and customer service, and hence the 1 star review.
I live in Medford and had never been in Fox Firearms until Saturday. My wife and I called all over the valley looking for a a Glock 42, Fox was the only place that had it and they put it behind the counter for me so I could drive out there and get it. I was in and out in about 15 minutes and the woman that helped me was very friendly. She even set a box of ammo aside with it which was really nice considering how hard it is to find lately. I highly recommend Fox Firearms
$50.00 for 275 rounds of 22LR ammo, I can get 800 rounds at Sportsman Warehouse for $49.98.....$35.00 for 5 rounds of 410, I can get 25 rounds for $15.00 or less....even during this shortage and even if i have to wait in line, its worth not being ripped off by our local gun shops. hell even big five sells you up to 2 boxes of 800 count 22LR for 60.00 each...its a wonder their still in business at FOX Firearms gouging the locals like they are.
Worth going to.
Ok place for the basics - however their ammo prices are 2 1/2 to 3 times higher than everyday prices and most other shops.
Great customer service. Ready to answer any questions you have. Great selection of every thing you want or need..
Be aware of price gouging on ammo. Go to the Armory. Go to Best Buy. Anywhere else will give you fair ammo prices. Go to five Fox firearms if you want the bare minimum in service. I bought ammo there because everyone else was sold out that day. I later found out that the 5 boxes of 50 round 223. I bought for $68.00 each were normally sold at around $35.00 each. See picture for the type of ammo. I was treated very rudely when I kindly asked to return them. I was told to find a different gun shop. This is after I had just spent over two thousand dollars in his shop just a day prior. Talk about customer appreciation. There’s a reason they still had 223. Price gouging. They are lucky im just leaving them a bad review and not turning them in. I wasnt going to leave this review, but i decided to for two reasons. 1 was the very unprofessional manner that the owner conducted in. 2 i think people should be warned.
Fox firearms has had amazing and consistent service every time I have gone in. Extremely friendly people. I will consistently be returning here!
I used to love this place but came in for ammo only to find 9mm going for 20 bucks! Price gouging in a time when the shooting community should be helping each other out, or at the very least not taking advantage of one another. Greedy owner apparently. Won’t buy from people with this type of moral compass.
Great service and the staff is very knowledgeable too. I highly recommend Fox Firearms.
I stopped in today to take a look at AR15 rifles. When I walked in I didnt know enough about them to actually buy one, but I learned so much while in the store that I ended up buying one on the spot. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to educate while not placing any pressure to make a quick sale. Highly recommended.
Great little shop with a friendly bunch of guys running it. My only gripe is the cost of transferring a firearm at $35. Id expect to pay that in Kalifornia, but not Grants Pass. Ive found lower fees from $25-$30. Yes, that includes transfer and background. However, they always seem to be open and have a great selection of ammo and firearms new and used. This shop is definitely worth a visit.
Great little spot, pretty central in town - perfect spot for me to stop in while Im doing other stuff and grab a thing or two (or three.) Good selection, the place is very well organized, and both the guys who have helped me have been very nice and helpful. As a new gun owner, Fox is my go-to place in GP.
Whether browsing a fine gun shop, picking up ammo or looking to purchase a quality firearm, Fox won’t let you down.
This is the #1 gun store in Grants Pass! Great service and prices!
Next level customer service combined with unmatched firearm knowledge!!

Great shop, people are easy to work with and very helpful.
These folks deserve your business! They have better than fair deals, a great selection, and the staff is pleasant to work with. I was able to walk in, get a demo of the features of the Firearm I was interested in, and left as quick as the background check passed.
Stopped in here to look at their stock / supplys .Its a smaller store, but seemed to be well stockedEasy parkingEven though i didnt purchase anything, the staff answered all my questions and was courteous the whole time
Great people
Very friendly and knowledgable employees. Best customer service I have had in a gun store. Didnt feel forced into buying or uneducated about the products I was looking at. Ended up buying a hand gun. I Highly recommend stopping by Fox Firearms.
