👎Have been doing business with these folks for well over 10 years unfortunately as like many Disappointing changes in this world today The new generation of disrespectful cowards they have representing their company Will lead me to take my business and many others elsewhere.I would highly suggest to the young guy that drives around in the loader that daddy put you in you should learn some common respect from one man to another before someone else has to take time out of there day to teach it to you !Respect is simple and goes an extremely long ways in a small town like GP where everybody knows everybody !

Its to bad the person that help me the morning wasnt the same one who turned me away at 3:15 in the afternoon. Your not downtown its a ways out to do business with you, especially when your just yakking around in the office.

Decent price and product, but the hours are terrible. They open late at 9 am and close by 3 pm. Unbelievable. I drove 30 min to get there, and they were still there, but turned me away and other customers.

I also love this place, but when did we star being closed on Saturday? For us poor slobs that work mon thru Friday, it makes it virtually impossible to get there before your closed. Looks like Im saving a damned burn pile.😡😤

I love this place. I have bought soil other places that is $200/yd, cactus and citrus soils, etc and they have all sucked! But the soil here at SOC is truly amazing. Ive grown incredible gardens (veggie) with it. I will never try someone else again. Its amazing and their yard of soil is bigger than other companies. I recommend 100% every time you need something. If you call and they dont answer just try again they usually get to it by the second call. They also have an office dog named Olive and she is a bit timid so move slow and gracefully around her or she will be scared. Happy gardening!

Not only does Southern Oregon Compost have the best compost in the area, they also go out of their way to take care of the customer. My wife and I needed compost for our garden, but we didnt have a way to transport it to our place. Jeremy offered to deliver the compost free of charge. You dont see that kind of service that often these days. Later that day, Jeremy came buy and dumped the compost in our garden. Cant say enough about Jeremy and his company! I highly recommend them.

I was recommended here to get rid of yard waste like tree branches, old leaves and weeds and such. No dirt or rocks just all yard and tree waste and it was well worth it. My 5x9 trailer cost me under 10 bucks to unload! I recommend this place 100%! Thank you.
