Was followed around the store by the worker and asked multiple times to let her take the products to the counter or put in a bag instead of being left to shop in peace. There’s a difference between good customer service and harassment.
What a refreshing experience after the run-around I endured at Ulta across town! This little store within a store at Penneys works hard to get repeat business and goes the extra mile to show appreciation for their customers. I printed off the first page of a coupon for Ulta but they would not make exceptions for me, so I had to go back home across town to get the code. Very smug and superior. I just left the merchandise there and plan to never return. I buy lots of Clinique for me and my family. This is not the first time I have been frustrated there. So happy to have the shop in Penneys to spend my money in. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Last year I went in there and was buying Makeup for my Girlfriend, and the associate Daisy I believe was her name helped me out and was really understanding that I know nothing about makeup. So this year came in with a little bit more knowledge and they were out of stock of the product I wanted but Daisy helped me order it online and waived the shipping for me and was just a pleasure to work with. This girl is very good at her job and she knows how to treat customers she was waiting on 6-7 people at a time including me. She was Rocking it! thought I would give a shout out to her!

A total hidden gem in Holiday Village. Made two visits and two big purchases in the past month. The staff is impressive! Didnt treat me like a bum when I went in completely bare faced. Not just polite but helpful and friendly. The product selection is really good for such a tiny shop but it is a little close quarters and it was very hot inside. Overall, Im a newly minted fan and will definitely be spending more of my hard earned $$$ here.
I would say this store has a nice selection to chose from. I went in tonight with my son looking for the Herbivore Botanical skincare line as I am truly not a make up person. I maybe we are 3 products on my face a day if that. There were three people in the store. A red headed gal doing make up, a blonde cashiering, and a brunette/dark haired gal on the floor. I walked around the store twice before stopping to ask the brunette customer service gal if they had this skincare line. She replied no, and walked away. I was going to ask if they had a specific lipstick in store, but she walked away before I could even ask. As I said, I am not super big into makeup so I knew I wouldn’t be able to pinpoint exactly in the store where it would be if they had it so I left. I’ve been in customer service many years, and I’m surprised by the lack of effort to help and make sure a customer has all their questions answered. I don’t know if this store works off of commissions, but it would make since if she went on to find the next person who would buy much more than I would have based on me only needing two brands. I might have even bought more if I was actually helped. Overall, I saw others who were very engaged at the cash wrap and makeover stand so I assume not all customers are hurried away. I will probably stick to ordering online going further.
The gal with the grayish platinum hair was so sweet and helpful. It took a while for them to acknowledge me though. Beautiful store with amazing products.
The girls working were so nice amazing costumer service !!! Help us with everything all questions as well! Even shook our hands and introduced her self ! Definitely will return
