These boys are not honest, I am a 60+ year old woman, familiar with dealerships and vehicles. I generally maintain my own vehicles. I got a call from Lithia about safety recalls,(questionable in itself). My daughter-in-law answered the phone I told her to confirm an appointment (I knew there was a safety recall I had not taken care of) and schedule an oil change, because it is an issue to discard oil and their oil changes were $49.95. (that was worth it to me.)I got a call before my oil change, they told me I needed a new air filter and differential fluid. They would be able to take care of this for $566.00! I told them absolutely not!I went to pick up my vehicle and my oil change cost $83.95.I took my vehicle home and checked my air filter, it had bug in it, I shook it out. I had someone else check the differential fluid. They said the cap had not been open since the factory, and the fluid was pristine.These boys try to be intimidating because you have absolutely no proof of anything when youre there, but theyre just thieves.

After a particular car caught my eye, I looked up the info on their website. Seeing that the price was close enough to my budget, I went in, took the test drive, etc. Then, because I was a cash customer, they wanted to add $750 to the advertised price. I told them, Thats not happening! The sales manager tried to justify their policy of doing that on cash sales, but I see it as shady. They should list the cash price to begin with.

False advertising beware! I just looked at a f 150 at the dealership and it was everything I wanted. Then I looked at the bed and it was constructed of ply wood. It says it has a spray on liner twice on their website. I brought this to their attention and they said it was typo. It says it twice in the description! I asked how we could fix this and they offered me 150 off. It cost about 700 for a good spray on liner. I left angry and feeling bullied by the manager.

Absolute worst service I have ever experienced in my entire life! I drive 90 miles to take my wrx to be serviced there- that will be stopping as of today! Just received my car back from the body shop from a prior incident and brought it down to have the oil changed. Was the oil changed? Why yes it was. Now let’s talk about how during my oil change the paint on the entire drive side and back of my car was damaged. Let’s also speak of how I was treated during the inquiry of how this happened to my car! Long story short they are the most rude people that like to offer you free car washes and don’t want to get out of their chairs to even look at the damage. Car back to the same body shop today for a quote to fix my paint…. But hey this facility offers free car washes..avoid at all costs. I will never go back or recommend this establishment to absolutely anyone!

This dealership has failed to file the necessary information to register my vehicle that I purchased on June 18th. The general manager and sales manager do not return calls. The management will not honor sales agreements from the prior management. I am stuck with a car that I have made two payments on and cannot drive due to expired temporary plates. He didnt rush me into making the purchase, and he answered all of my questions. I found him to be one of the best salesmen Ive ever dealt with. I had an amazing experience here at Lithia Subaru of Great Falls. I first visited to change out the tail light on my 14 Forester. John and John were so helpful, it took only 10 minutes, and they didnt charge me, including a free car wash!I decided to go back to them after having some issues with my tires. Chris even went the extra mile by calling a local cafe while I waited (I had accidentally given Subaru the wrong cell number). They did the service beautifully. Highly recommended for anyone local or travelling through Great Falls.

Buyer beware... I bought my vehicle Tuesday night and it wouldnt start Wednesday morning. They were already very rude because I brought in my own financing and for how much of a rush they were in to get me in there, they gave me the run around with completing the sale. We had agreed upon a price before my appointment if I liked the vehicle with Jen (I have everything in text) and when I met with her sales partner he tried saying that was only if I paid cash and that I told Jen I was paying cash... I showed him the conversation that showed that was not true and he was salty the whole time. He also didnt think I could hear him on the phone with the finance office where they were being rude about me on there as well. Finally got my car Tuesday night, and Wednesday morning it wouldnt start! I called my sales team and they both just tried to pass me off to the parts department, but I wanted the vehicle repair covered and the parts department tried to transfer me BACK to sales, where I kept getting voicemail. Jen didnt bother returning my message, and unknowingly picked up my call, where she tried to transfer me again. I finally called the service center and Chris was the only one willing to help me. He couldnt get a hold of sales either, which on a day where its -20 degrees theyre definitely not busy. He got my car towed to the shop, the next day (Thursday) called and said it was the starter. His manager wouldnt approve to give me a loaner car until its repaired. I tried emailing the GM since he was out the day before and the sales team wouldnt give me the direct number, and he never responded. I called and bugged them enough so that theyd finally give me a loaner. I dealt with Darcy, one of the people on the sales team who sold me the car, and he was not at all apologetic nor acknowledged the inconvenience they caused me. He gave me a vehicle that had less than a quarter tank of gas to borrow and the vehicle makes a horrible screeching noise when driving (If youre looking at the 2017 Toyota Rav4 with around 78k miles... dont). On top of all this, NOBODY working is wearing a mask. I am still in my 72 hour window and I want to just return the car at this point. This is an absolute horrible dealership to deal with and I dont get how they expect to get repeat business by treating customers this way, especially in a town so small. They lost the Kia deal because of how horrible they are, which I just learned. Do your research before buying from a dealer, these guys are absolutely horrible and do not have any ethics or morals.

They provide exceptional customer service and go above and beyond to make your experience amazing. My absolute favorite person has to be Mr. McCarthy! You can tell he loves his job and loves to make everyone happy. He has such a great attitude and has made our whole experience truly outstanding!!I also really appreciate our salesman Daniel, for he actually builds a bond with you and is not pushy like typical salesmen. Not to mention our finance guy, Brian, who got me a way lower APR than USAA! I was extremely hesitant as my credit was only 3 years old, but my goodness. He truly saved me thousands of dollars!I have such a soft heart for this dealer as they have walked us through two vehicle purchases now and have extraordinary customer service. I called there to make a oil change and the lady was so rude on the phone. And my car is 10 years old. She told me they dont work on older cars. And said they could do oil change. So I go to my appointment and asked if they could check the codes. And she goes no we cant. She was so rude to me. This other guy comes out and we asked him and he said we could do. Daniel ran through the whole vehicle history with me and finance clearly explained every document I signed. The purchasing experience was positive, but I was greatly misled by Jennifer Giskaas regarding the cost of obtaining license plates from the county. She went as far to show me a 2-digit dollar amount for the cost of plates, and somehow I had to pay well over $400. Also I was signed up for a variety of subscriptions without my consent, and so I had to go through and cancel many of these features. Nice staff, but I can’t in good conscience recommend purchasing a vehicle from Lithia Subaru of Great Falls.

Ok where to start. I have a 1997 Ford Expedition and my offer for my trade was a whopping $50-$100. I was looking at a Ford mustang and couldnt even drive it for a decent test drive as the tire was down to the metal. The check they do on your trade in is more intensive than the checks they do on their own vehicles they are trying to sell to you. STAY AWAY.

We contacted John Barnes because he is a long time friend. We told him what we were looking for and he was straight with us and said 1 ton trades are fairly rare. Well low and behold they got one in. John contacted us and we were hooked. My husband works out of town and is only home Saturday and Sunday morning. John and the crew at Auto Mall got everything ready to go. We were able to show up Saturday morning, test drive and then sign paperwork. It was the only time that we have ever bought a vehicle from a dealership that we didnt spend the better part of a whole day. It was all of an hour and a half start to finish. It was hands down the best experience we have had with a dealership. John Barnes was on point with what we wanted and the finance department was ready to press go when we got there. Thanks a bunch! I bought a full warranty with my WRX, then something went wrong with my AC system, but they couldnt find anything the first couple times I came in. They actually brought in a specialist, he found the problem, theyre replacing an air vent, and Im not paying a penny. I have been pleasantly surprised by the service, especially from Gaylene. Peter Wipf, our salesman, was a delight to work with. No pressure, but he put a lot of work into finding the perfect car for me. Lithia policies make car buying easy. When were you last able to take a demo ride without having a salesman in the back seat pressuring you the whole time? Peter handed us the key and said to take our time. If we had questions, he was willing to accompany us, but was trusting enough to let us do our thing alone. The price was much better than that at a very good dealer in the Flathead Valley. The entire process went smoothly without high pressure. Peter was totally reliable and did everything he said he would promptly. I tend to keep my cars a long time but I hope that he will be available the next time I need a car. He made the whole process fun!

I have been fighting with Subaru for 7 months with some issues on my 2015 Subaru Outback. The guys at Litha service department were great and did their best to help me with Subaru corporates requests. Long story short, after 7 months and no resolution in the near future, Brad in the service department and Joe in the sales department along with my husband finally got Subaru corporate to do what I would expect them to do and they helped us get into a brand new 2018 at what we felt was a fair trade. Without the help of Brad and Joe, we would have been looking elsewhere for a new car. So far, I am loving my new car and appreciate all their help!

They sold me a lemon. I had it for five months before I told them there’s a problem with the engine. They ignored my concerns and just kept charging me for visits and oil changes. Third time I was in they said I was correct but still didn’t reimburse me. After trying to discuss the situation and sell the car back to them they wouldn’t take it. Tried to talk to the manager, he played “he’s in a meeting game.” I lost six grand or more for only driving it three thousand miles. Don’t recommend.

Very professional and patient staff. No complaints as we test drove a bunch of different vehicles and were a bit undecided on what we wanted. Sales paperwork took a bit longer than it should and title paperwork took several weeks to get over to mvd and when it did, it was messed up causing me to make a total of 5 trips and almost 2 months, to the worst mvd (dmv) in the US as far as I can tell.

Lithia Subaru really impressed me today. I went in to purchase the Kia Soul EV they have and Joshua was the salesman I was lucky enough to work with. Hes the only salesman Ive met, to date, in the state of Montana that was actually open and interested in learning about the Electric Vehicle. He was extremely courteous and allowed me to take the vehicle to the North 40 charging station to go through the quick and easy process of charging the vehicle. Although I wasnt able to get financed, I encourage everyone at the dealership to get to know how EVs really work a d push the technology forward! Now get a charging station installed and start selling more! Ill be back to purchase an EV from yall if you have em next year when I trade my hybrid in. Thanks again, Josh!

Bought a 2018 Subaru Impreza for the all wheel drive and the 37mpg turns out 37mpg is a lie and if you dont like it they just give you a big middle finger. Will never buy a car from Lithia anything. Pretty decent Service, but turn around time is awful. Ive been waiting over a month to get my car back and it is still awhile out. Ive known the turbo was blown since I brought it in and they just now figured this out even though I told them at the beginning that it was shot. Ive had insurance paying for rental for so long that they are no longer willing to pay for rental and luckily the dealer is offering me a loaner, but thats beside the point. I cant complain too much because insurance is paying for the work, but if it were my money out of pocket I would be pretty upset that its taking an unreasonable amount of time.

Please dont get your car serviced at this dealership. Not only do they charge a fortune for any work being done, but they always mysteriously find a new problem every time totaling hundreds of dollars. Paid them 200$ for some work to be completed on my car. Not only did they not complete the job fully, they charged me the full amount and then sighed and grumbled on the phone when I called the service department about it. Needless to say money comes first, customer satisfaction last.

It took me two weeks to get a hold of the financial department, the salesman I bought the pick up from was unreachable wouldn’t answer my calls. I hardly ever post reviews like this, but this needs to be known. I felt like they were hoping I would stop calling and give up. Bottom line I am stuck with the $2,600 and won’t be doing business with them again. Very unprofessional, felt like I have been cheated and scammed.

They need to do more thorough inspections of the vehicles they sell. I bought my 2012 Dodge Journey back in December 2018. Took it in for a safety inspection today, it has leaky struts, and the rear axle seals are leaking pretty bad. Now why didnt their fancy multi-point inspection notice that those items were starting to become a problem? Probably because all they cared about was pushing iron and figured not our problem after 3 days. Well. Its your problem now, because I am going to tell everyone not to do business with Lithia Subaru. Ever.Issues found during inspection after purchase:Cabin/Pollen air filter missingValve cover gaskets need replacedThermostat housing needs replacedneeds fuel decarbonization servicetransmission fluid dark and dirty, burntfront rotors warped and rustedfront and back struts leaking badly and need replacedengine is leaking oilwater pump needs replacedrear axle seals leakingEstimated total: about $4500.00 in repairs. Add in the major tune-up I needed, then its over $5,000.My attempts to reach out to Lithia Motors about this have been ignored.

After checking with the dealerships in Great Falls and Billings, I was contacted via email by both dealerships.I started receiving emails from JC at Lithia Subaru, asking for our business starting just before Christmas. After repeated emails, I told her I was waiting until the summer to buy a new car.The car that was going to be replaced with the Subaru hit a deer earlier this year. It was totalled out. I started an email conversation with Lithia to see if we could get a deal done.After a series of emails, we agreed upon the price and features and had everything set up to come in on a Saturday, sign the paperwork, and take the car home.We are from Lewistown, so it was a 100 mile drive to get to the dealership. After arriving there, the dealership was dirty, in complete disarray, and we waited for quite some time to get help. The person that sold us the car ( JC ) wasnt even at the store.After getting there at open and waiting almost an hour to be helped, we were taken back to the loan office to sign the paperwork. Upon reviewing the paperwork, the price that we agreed upon was not what was on the paperwork. With the salesperson gone, we were directed to talk to the Sales/General Manager Brian Belderrain.Brian told us “I will pay for your tank of gas home if you don’t like that price”. Since we were down a car, and 100 miles away from home, we were stuck. He pulled a bait and switch on us. Given the circumstances that we were in, we reluctantly agreed to the price.The only bright spot in the entire transaction was Peter Wipf, who showed us all the features of the car even though he had no financial interest in the sale. He was more than accommodating and I wouldn’t hesitate to buy a car from him.After countless emails to the dealership proving that we agreed to a different price, Brian and his ego still wouldn’t budge, but JC offered to pay for the difference out of her own pocket. After waiting 3 months, I decided to email her and see the status of our money. I received an error on the email as she no longer works for the company. Brian more than once after the purchase asked us not to give his company a bad review, as it would make it difficult for them to get cars in stock. After the treatment we received, the only appropriate review is the truthful one.I called Brian today looking for a resolution and he couldn’t have been more condescending and arrogant. Someone like him has no business running a McDonald’s, let alone a car dealership.After our experience, I will not refer any business to Lithia Subaru or any dealership associated with Brian Belderrain. I would suggest you do the same.

Made the downpayment and payments afterward. Jennifer an employee asked for my pay stubs and as soon as i sent them now they are gonna repossess the car? Ive never heard of that. I would warn others before getting a car here cause it seems they try to rip you off

Stopped by and made an appointment for later that same day. When I brought my car back later, the technician said he saw me earlier and that they were not busy during the earlier time. I was not offered to have my vehicle serviced immediately when making the appointment. Just inconvenient to have to go back when the technicians are sitting doing nothing.
