This place deserves its high star rating! Everyone was very helpful, communicative, and honest about the problems my vehicle was facing. They worked with me to determine which repairs would be necessary to make my vehicle road-safe, called to discuss a game plan when new problems were discovered mid-work, and provided detailed printouts (PDFs by email) of the work they planned on doing.I will definitely be coming back here if/when I need more mechanic work done. Chuck and Chance were phenomenal - friendly, understanding, and easy to reach by phone the whole way through. It was very refreshing to work with a mechanic shop and NOT feel like Id been fleeced at the end of the process.Two thumbs up, for sure. 👍👍

We have used this AAMCO in the past and had a good experience so it was an easy choice to bring one of our fleet vans in for a transmission repair. The repair went well and we had our 2015 Ram Promaster 3500 back on time. Unfortunately a little over a year later we had some additional issues with the transmision and brought the van back for diagnostics. The transmission is needing additional work. Here is the great part...Instead of playing the blame game and making us pay for the repair, I was told We are going to take care of this for you and we will have the van back in service mid week. These guys are top notch! Never have we dealt with a repair shop with such integrity! No one else will ever touch one of our transmissions!

They made me feel important and worked as fast and hard as they could to get me my car back in less than a wk. Had to rebuild a whole new transmission and everything and got my car back in 3 days. So I had got a tune up from Aamco about 4 months ago and about a month ago my car started to miss fire. I had another mechanic put it on a diagnostic and found out the spark plugs are damaged. So when he looked at the spark plugs he said he doesnt understand why they would use such cheap spark plugs to begin with especially when they could of used expensive spark plugs and just charged me for it. Now this mechanic is going to use the right spark plugs even if its a little on the expensive side, at least Ill know I wont have to go to someone else to do the job that should of been done RIGHT the first time around. Its like they did it in a hurry and got what they needed to get it done fast and not done right.

Brought a carry-in transmission and transfer case for a custom rebuild. Chuck listened to what I wanted and needed and translated it perfectly into the build. The whole team was eager and excited to help making sure I was getting exactly what I wanted. These guys are the real deal and the turnaround time was phenomenal. Thanks guys!

This shop took on the job of repairing the second gear of my TJ Jeep and although some unforeseen problems arose Im well pleased with the repair. I was always kept informed of what was going on and never felt that they were doing any less then professional work. The whole staff was amazing they know their job and do it very well. Went in without an appointment made and with my vehicle you cant check the transmission fluid on your own, so they made sure that it was full before I left. We made an appointment for the following week and thats when ourblizzard came through so had to call and reschedule and Walter was awesome on taking care of that. James told me what he thought it was and that is exactly what it was he is amazing. And thanks to Scott for staying after on a Saturday so I could get my car back. I would definitely refer anybody to go to them.

Amazing place and great staff! Called to make an appointment and Mike explained what could be wrong what they would do to try and diagnose the issue. I took it in and the employees working were just as nice, asked if I had any questions explained everything answered all of my questions. Went to pick it up and they told me what they found, how they were going to help me fix it and understood that my time was valuable and helped work with my hectic schedule to get my car fixed. Would recommend to anyone having issues with their car. Plus they are all very funny and make you feel comfortable!

This specific shop is amazing. The staff is very helpful. The manager goes above and beyond to make sure everything is right, like they way hed like his own vehicles. We took our F250 in to have the A/C fixed, and recharged. Unfortunately our truck was not the easiest to fix. We had to take it back a couple times, at no fault of the mechanics, its just the way these trucks are made. They never once made it a bad experience. After persevering we got it fixed and to stay fixed. I will definitely be taking our vehicles back to them in the future.

I just had my wifes Jeep Cherokee Laredo serviced at this AAMCO. We thought it was going to be a serious repair; either transmission or cooling system. It turned out to be the water pump. This is the most responsive well trained shop in northern Colorado. From a simple Ac repair to full transmission I would trust them 100%. They treated my father like he was theirs. I can not thank them enough.

My car broke down due to transmission issues; and when my regular mechanic was unable to perform the necessary repairs, they referred me to AAMCO of Greeley where they remanufactured my transmission. The work was done in a timely manner at a reasonable cost. The service technicians did a superb job and the customer service agents were extremely kind and helpful. When I returned for a routine follow-up on the work that was done I also asked them to replace my headlight bulbs. It was a daunting task because of the way my car was designed; but they bent over backwards to determine the most cost-effective method of doing the job and had me back on the road in less time than they had originally estimated. I definitely give them five stars!

Mike and team were fantastic. Anna and I are two college kids who have had some rough experiences with cars this year. We discovered that the transmission in our Honda was shot, and were directed to AAMCO by a friend who highly recommended them. The guys were great. Mike and Paulie made it a point to literally show us the transmission stripped apart and explain in laymans terms (to a couple of kids who know nothing more than how to change a tire) why they needed to do the work they were planning on - part by part, system by system. It was one of the most pleasant experiences Ive ever had with a mechanic, and its nice to know that we still have honest people in the trade on the Front Range (so many horror stories out there). Paulie is also a Honda expert and was the man who rebuilt our transmission. Trying to find a mechanic that you trust is hard, well we now have one!!! After a bad experience with a local repair shop, we got our daughters car back and took it the guys at AAMCO. Our experience started with Scott who was fantastic when he talked to our daughter, continued with Mike who was one of the most personable and nice people I have ever met, and ended with the car being repaired. Needless to say, after being told by the local repair shop that the car needed a whole new transmission for $4000, the guys at AAMCO ended up saving us $3600 by actually finding the problem and repairing it instead of taking a completely (and incorrect and expensive) wild guess. While AAMCO may be a nationwide chain, these guys are very much local and awesome. You will not be disappointed. Thank you gentlemen!!!

If you want someone who will put cheap Auto Zone parts on your vehicle then you may want to look for another shop. Although his estimate for parts + labor might be slightly more than others in town, you get what you pay for and I would rather spend a small amount more to have Peace of Mind that the best parts were used and installed by guys with years of experience. I was having trouble fixing my truck and wasent sure what was wrong with it. AAMCO took a while to give me answers but they did an amazing job to give me exact numbers and details on what they were doing to my truck. Now Ive had it for a few months and everything feels good. I would recommend them to anyone . Also the manager did an amazing job always keeping me updated.

Simply amazing! I rarely take my cars to the mechanic because we are able to do most work ourselves. After buying a used car we experienced some transmission issues. I called up Mike at Aamco and although he was pretty booked up, he offered to look at it and let me know what could be done. From the first encounter, I knew I found our new mechanic! Not only was he upfront, honest and personable...he also doesnt try to get in your pocketbook. Turned out that what we experienced didnt require a huge repair like we were expecting and Mike also gave us some additional advice. Had a transmission failure on a used vehicle and took it to back to the dealership. They said it would be about 4k after we paid for 1/3 of it to replace.Mike at this location told me I could bring it in and theyd look at it and let me know the deal. TOTAL failure of internal components...all of them. He told me straight it was going to end up being about 3500 said and done. If I didnt feel like going through with it theyd put it back together and Id be charged the assessment fee...like $120 bucks or something.In the end I had them do the work. So far its GREAT! No shifting issues and feels smooth. 2yr standard warranty that was a year longer than the dealership was going to give. Thanks again, hopefully I never have to see you, but if I do Ill know where to look.

Very glad I chose AAMCO to work on my vehicle. I previously had my car at the dealership who misdiagnosed my vehicle and said I required a new transmission. I called AAMCO to get a second opinion and spoke to Mike and told him the situation and he had me bring it in to take a look. Mike communicated with me several times and informed me that I did not need a new transmission and spent a significant amount of time diagnosing the problem. He went out of his way to get an alignment done and charged me very little for his time invested. My car is working fine now and I wish I would have called him sooner.As many people know, having a problem with your car can be a very stressful and expensive venture. In the future if I have a problem I would definitely take it to Mike and his crew because you will get a straight forward advice and be treated fairly and not ripped off. I went to AAMCO here in Greeley shortly after I visited a local mechanic who gave me a VERY pricey estimate with a LONG list of issues on our vehicle. Some of the issues werent really issues at all. Needing a second opinion I chose AAMCO due to the great reviews and a friend who suggested them. I was VERY pleased with the service I received there. Mike was so helpful, polite, and honest. He went through the long list from the other mechanic and broke it down for us. Gave us a list of the real issues in order of priority AND the prices at AAMCO were literally hundreds less than the other guys. They specialize in transmissions but he was able to do other work on our car as well. Even though they were short handed they still got my car done in a timely manner. I will be going to AAMCO every time I have car problems and I will be referring everyone I know there too. Thanks again Mike for your help!

These guys know their stuff and are very personable. I had my minivan transmission rebuilt buy them 1.5 years ago. Unfortunately it apparently broke again during their test drive, before returning it to me. After looking into it some more, they realized it was the vans ECU (computer) that was screwing things up. Because of the delay in returning it to me, they didnt charge for the extra rebuild or the towing of the car to the dealership, or the replacement of the ECU. The owner called and personally apologized for the wait (more or less 10 days, if I remember correctly) and said they would stick to the originally agreed upon price (about $3,600) even though it was obviously significantly costing them extra parts and labor. Even though it was pricey and not the best of outcomes with the wait, I felt they handled it with 100% professionality and expertise. Would recommend to anyone.

In particular, I was able to work the entire project remotely over the phone and through e-mail. Mike and the AAMCO team showed a level of professionalism far beyond expectations. They worked quickly and completely rebuilt the entire transmission. They requested two follow up check ups and we have had absolutely no issues.
