Worst service ever...dropped off prescription at noon told it was ready by 4, came at 4:40 stood in two lines one for pick up.oh no we don’t have anything under that name,had to stand in line for consultation for other 15 minutes they didn’t know what?ok your prescription will be ready in 10 minutes.here I am standing like a dumb as.would not ever come here. Can’t fulfill a service you should not be in business.My time it’s important just like your profits.Lesson learned I hope you people read this and go somewhere else.

Very slow and unprofessional and unorganized and they dont answer phones long lines then they are very impatient and there counters need to be wiped down. COME on CVS your giving out covid shots to people who are not vaccinated. Not keeping those areas unsanitary could start a out break. Praying for some compassion and empathy and safety most of all in our communities. Just moved here from Indiana and sad to say so far this CVS and Luminous Hospital are nightmares in Greenbelt. Even the plexiglass is all smeared up all. I can say they helped me with a sliding fee since I dont have insurance thanks 🙏Miss Chika 😘and God help them please look at pandemic as a serious 🙏matter. 🙏

This cvs has terrible customer service!! Every single time I go in person everyone is rude and inattentive. Over the phone it’s even worse! They talk to you with an attitude. Today I called in to ask a few questions about my medicine and not only was the woman taking to like 3 other people at the same time and completely ignoring. She also muffled like 3 words and then hung up the phone on me before I could even ask her all my questions or what she said. My family and I have been picking up our medicine from this pharmacy for 2 years now bc it was the closest one. But today, was the last straw. We have done nothing to those workers to be treated the way we have. We are switching pharmacies ASAP! Everyone else, you will be saving yourself A LOT of stress by just going to another pharmacy.

The pharmacist were so rude when I arrived to check-in for my COVID vaccine shot. After their lack of customer service, paired with the wait time without update, I just left. Please go to Walgreens, where they actually speak and greet you.

I don’t know what happen these last couple of years with CVS, but they seem to go down hill more and more. I had two different appointments, 1st appointment I got here on time, but the doctor left with out any warning. The second appointment today I get here a bit early just in case, but it was all in vain. I get in line behind three folks. By the time the person in front of me was about to go, the doctor walked away, didn’t say anything and hasn’t come back. It’s been 30 mins of us waiting for nothing. I’m never coming to this sorry location.

This location has all the usual CVS goods. The pharmacy drive thru line is ALWAYS overwhelmingly long. Inside the store and outside Im constantly being solicited for change/money by ones who appear to be privileged and not less fortunate at all...

Worst CVS!!! If you want to get the vaccine, just walk in. We had an appointment at 10:30am and they were taking walk-ins that where just coming in .. at this point it was 10:56am. Walked up to the lady maria and she said check-in… I DID CHECK-IN!! She just ignored me and walked away!! We ended up just leaving cause no one was evening available to attend us ! Honestly worst experience ever !!

The worst CVS in the area. I actively try to avoid this CVS at all costs. It is always disorganized and a mess. The pharmacy is notorious for have extremely long wait times. Photo and other services are often out of order. Staff are uninterested in there jobs and distracted. To top it off, the parking lot in a mess.

This is the only 24/7 CVS in Greenbelt so it is extremely busy. If you are in a hurry, best to get your meds at another CVS if you can. The Pharmacy is only open from 8am to 10pm and it is always swamped. They have a drive up window too, which contributes to the busyness. Employees in the pharmacy are over worked and swamped. Even though there are 5-7 staff people in the pharmacy at any given time they are still swamped. The staff are exhausted. Management needs to manage their staff better. Ask current staff for suggestions. The store is much smaller than most CVSs (because it is older than most) so they try to cram a huge amount of products into a smaller space. The cashiers are always pleasant despite the big crowds. There a two self-checkout station to speed things up for you. They are always well stocked in most items. Again management needs to provide help in the isles to stock and tidy things up. The employees try very hard to do a good job. They all seem exhausted. This is a management issue. The place is always busy so there is not much of an incentive to keep things tidier, nor to attract more customers. It is the busiest CVS I have ever been to! Yes parking lot is messy too, but I give the employees alot of credit for trying so hard. Be kind to them, they are doing the best job they can.

I have been living in the greenbelt area for 24 years, words can never express the inadequate representation that this CVS gives to the public, I seriously suggest that you start from the top and get rid of management, The lines are always long the pharmacy has no idea whats going on, The codes are not put in properly for medications, you called them to inform them they put you on hold for half an hour hoping you would hang up Its so unprofessional, my experiences with this CVS is endless I had to take my mothers prescription to New Carrollton and they filled her prescriptions with no hesitation with the codes in question for her pills. I should not have to drive 5 miles from where I live to go to another CVS, to handle my needs and my mothers Its ridiculous.

Very disappointing. Take your business ANYWHERE else. Dirty floors, messy aisles, gross parking lot, lines to the back of the store, and they don’t keep proper pharmacy hours. I’ve never been to a pharmacy where “Sometimes people show up late” (said to me when I asked why I waited 30 minutes for the pharmacist who never showed up earlier this morning).Greenbelt Co-Op for example keeps their pharmacy hours, and is clean and reliable with friendly staff. Go there instead!

This cvs is not a 1 star it’s a negative zero ! Terrible customer service they are rude and inconsiderate. When I went to pick up my prescription I was told “please take a seat it will be ready in 15 mins”. 40 mins go by and still no prescription so I got up and asked if it was going to be ready soon their answer was your prescription is actually out of stock. Why wasn’t this said it the first place instead of making me wait for no reason after getting out of work. If we have a customer service complaint they do nothing in order to resolve the issue they just dismiss you and have you call cvs corporation in order to have them fix it. This pharmacy needs employees who know what they are doing and aren’t so miserable at their jobs.

This has been years that I usually go for meds. Staff today 12/18/19 are amazing. Fast and very considerate about the customers. The management did a really good job. It’s been more than 6 yrs that my family use. just that They dont pick up calls. I dont really see lines and lines of customer waiting for pick up. Compare to other CVS they are very fast.

This pharmacy is miserable. Although, I live 3 mins away I have to avoid this place. Whenever I go to pickup my prescription it’s either “We don’t have it please call your doctor” or “We can’t refill this call your doctor” but then an hour go by I went in and asked a different person, then miracle happened! I would give them a zero if I could, their customer service is TERRIBLE, I wanted to schedule an appointment to get tested for COVID-19 and they kept putting me on hold for 20min or more, and I never got the info I needed. I kept calling and they just didn’t answer anymore. Plus they sell expired items, especially with makeup and skincare stuff. The worst CVS ever.

Honestly, I would give them zero star if I could! I have never been to a pharmacy thats so terrible, unprofessional, and unorganized. I have been trying to transfer my prescription from Walgreen to this CVS for 8 months but it still havent happend, I dont know why! I keep going to this store almost every week trying to figure out what happend with my prescription but they cant give me an answer. Sometimes one will say they dont have the medicine, next week someone else will say theyre waiting for the doctor for a refill. Why would you ask for a refill while I havent yet received my medicine from the first prescription!! I called the Walgreens many times, talked to their Pharmacist, in their system they said my prescription has been transfered to this CVS location 3 months ago, but the people in this CVS location keep telling me something different every week. Then they will send automatic text in my phone saying the medicine is ready to pick up, but when I get their they say they dont have ay prescription!! This is INSANE!! AVOID this location at any cost. This location needs to be SHUTDOWN!! People who works in this store have no knowledge of how to do their job or customer service! This place is an utter disgrace!!!

The worst pharmacy Ive been to! DO NOT GO HERE. I only chose it bc it was the closest. Pharm techs were very unfriendly and did not want to deal with explaining anything. Prescription was ready one day but I had to come back the next day due to co-pay card. Next day, it wasnt ready and had to wait 1hr. What?!

Went to purchase a couple cans of Arizona from the store at 2:30 am when I went to the cooler the shelves were bare but you can see cases of Arizona’s in the back when I asked the store associates if she could get me a couple she act like she didn’t hear me and acted like she was doing something. The security guard on duty asked her the same question and she made a smart remark saying she is not going in the cooler I even said I could get them. I had written a positive review of this drug store last week which I want to retract completely. Last week the manager of the store assured me that the medication that I needed would be ordered and it would be available to be picked up on Tuesday. I go in today Tuesday to pick up the medication and Im told that no its not there and at looking at their orders the manager who assured me that it would get done because she was the manager, did not do it. This medication was for a car accident victim who had been all week without it. I find it unbelievable that a pharmacist can lie and it seems to me to be the policy of the CVS drug stores to not show any concern about what a patient might be going through or how a doctor wants them to take medication. I used to get medications here, I used to get my flu shots here, I will never put my toe inside any CVS Pharmacy again.

I have worked in healthcare for over 20 years. This is by far the worst managed and most poorly run pharmacy I have ever experienced. I speak both as a professional and as a patient. I can say that the current pharmacy staff is completely incompetent. It is inefficient, rude, discourteous, unresponsive, and unapologetic. I strongly encourage anyone and everyone who lives in the Greenbelt area to avoid this pharmacy at all costs!

Never answers their phone! I’m supposed to have 4 medications but only given 3 and they told me the other one will be available the next day. My boyfriend went there the next day and it’s still not there. He was told to call first before going there next time to see if it’s ready but I had called 7 times, I waited 5-8 minutes every time for someone to answer but nothing! I’m supposed to be taking that medicine 2 days ago already! This pharmacy is absolute TRASH! Go somewhere else!

Thee WORST. My kids doctors office is here but I had to go into DC but was coming back pass here so I put the prescription in here. They told me it would be ready in a hour so I came back in a hour. Got here he told me 15 mins waited 20 and he told me 15 more mins. Guess what it still wasn’t ready then the pharmacist tells me once i asked what was going on was that I told them I would pick it up after 2. I got back here a little after 12 WTH! Never said that because the guy told me it would only take an hour and i knew my trip to DC wouldn’t take long it was 11am. HORRIBLE. And then they tried to give me one prescription and come back for the rest. I just told them to transfer my prescription to a cvs where I live. I wish I could give zero stars

I used the phone service to ask for a refill on my prescription, went to pick it up, and was told that it had never been requested. They were not apologetic at all but offered to put in the request for me again. I watched her put the request in and when I went back to pick it up the second time, I was told again that it had never been requested. Save your energy and just use the Greenbelt Co-op pharmacy or Target...or even the other CVS over by Beltway Plaza is better than this one.

Not about the pharmacy department, this is about the cashiers up front! I have not had any problems with the Pharmacy since they got all new people.Cashier upfront was on her cell behind the counter. Then as she was waiting on me, she was talking about a woman not wearing a bra and then commented on the reasons she could get away with that, commenting on her own breast size!!!!Disgusting behavior in front of customers!

Every time I come to this location the wait it’s ridiculous. Today was just the worst, I was here with my 9 yr old son who is sick, straight from the doctor to pick up a prescription.... I went from pick lane to drop off lane to consultation lane back to pick up lane . Although the doctor made a mistake and transfer the medication to the wrong cvs there really was no reason for me be there with a sick kid and myself recovering from 2 weeks hospital admission I can barely stand ... but as usual the customer service there is terrible, they take their sweet time and really don’t care about people . You would think that my son coughing with a flu sleeping on a chair by their checkout counter would encourage them to help out but no. I was there for over 1hour 30 minutes . WORST CVS EVER

Awful customer service, just drop off my prescriptions and the guy who took it, was very unpolite, he didnt even greet and was sending people to different pharmacies after ignoring us in line for a long time. He said the medication will not be ready until midnight he has a long name other wise i will write it! They all should have more compassion as people is sick and all they need is their medications. Worst pharmacy ever, always short staffed or incompetent staff, only chose the pharmacy because it was 24hrs and drive through, takes forever to get prescriptions even if you come at midnight. Late night they stop the drive through service sometimes, defeats the purpose, took over an hour for my turn on last visit even though only two cars ahead and prepaid. Big horrible pothole at the entrance of the drive through. Need to manage staff better even the rest of the store is neat and well stocked. All of this is encouraging customers to take their business elsewhere.Been in drive thru for over 35 minutes now. Only one car since I came and no service yet!!!

I went there this morning to receive money from money gram. eventually the cashier gave a wrong amount so i ran back there and told her. She sharply opened the register to give me back the money and she couldn’t even say something like “sorry about that” or “my bad” or at least show some simpathy, rather she gave me an attitude and she didn’t even look at me nor greet when i was leaving. i said thank you and she didn’t even answer! that was so rude even if i didn’t buy anything today i’m still a customer and i would definitely not go back there

The worst cvs I have experienced (and that is saying something!)...told me my medicine wasnt covered (have it filled at another cvs every month). I pulled up the formulary and showed them that it is covered, so the pharmacist looks me in the eye, and CHANGED THE REASON!!! Said I needed Prior Authorization, so my (angry) doctor called immediately and gave it to them. This is 4 hours later, and I should be on my way south on vacation with my son. Instead, after they are entirely out of excuses, they tell me that ITS NOT IN STOCK, and they can have it by (f-ing) Monday. I (or anyone else) cant go a single day without it, so....yea, of course Monday is fine...I will never visit a cvs again.

They were swapped, but CHICHI the pharmacist made sure we got our medicine for my sons allergic reaction tonight (hope I spelled her name right). The techs had just left at 10 pm and there was a line 8-10 people deep. She was awesome. Sad CVS doesnt understand this is the only 24 hour pharmacy in the area. Why there isnt a tech till 12 or 1am makes no sense. I worked in the emergency department for years and they are busy till 12-1 am, thats when we dropped down on staffing. That means the pharmacy close to a hospital will stay busy. Best wishes to trying to take care of your customers. The corporation is short sighted- this is a busy store!! You can calculate the business, just not the business that walks away, we almost did! Thanks again to your helpful staff! (:

Came by at 10 pm to fill a prescription - not exactly peak pharmacy hours. There were 5 pharmacists working and it still took them nearly an hour to fill my one prescription for six pills. And that was after I came back at the 30 minute mark to remind them to do their job. Pathetic.Dont bother coming unless youre willing to stand there at the counter watching them until theyre done. Clearly as soon as you arent looking they slack off.

If I could give them 0 stars I’d IMMEDIATELY do so. I was trying to print my photos and I spent 2 HOURS sitting in their kiosk working on that after BOTH didn’t work. When I tried EACH possible way to connect to the kiosk it BARELY Worked. Once it actually started to work, it froze. I asked for assistance and no one helped me. It stopped freezing and when I finished collecting 200+ pictures to print, it “disconnected “ and started over the entire 2-hour process. I asked (again) for assistance to no avail. All they offered was for me to try AGAIN and a 10% discount courtesy. That was a slap in the face. 10%? Honestly what joke is that?? Then the staff were barely there to help me. Everytime i asked for help i was ignored. Honestly, maybe the CVS itself is fine but their emoployees? Trash. Everyone is rude and offensive. This happened less than 10 minutes ago. They can choke.

Terrible staff. I was told to be back at 3 to pick up my prescription. I showed up and they moved my time back to 4:30om without calling, texting, or emailing me before hand to notify me. No one knew why my time had changed and everyone tried to blame my insurance company. I stood there and watched them finally fill my prescription and then run my insurance and it went right through. At 10:00pm on 02/12/2019 a lady put me on hold at a time when I had a very crucial question about medicine and left me there. I waited for 40 mins on the phone. Thats not customer service. Holding for a Pharmacist should only take 5mins. This could have been life or death. To make matters worse, they never came back to the phone. Never got the information I needed and had to get information from my God Sister whos a nurse. -0 StarsPlease clean this store up immediately corporate!

Pharmacy stated my insurance was cancelled therefore I had to pay out of pocket for my childrens prescription. I actually went to another CVS 2 days later and was able to pick up another prescription that was waiting for pick up from an earlier date and had no issues. Monday morning I contacted my insurance carrier they stated the pharmacy didnt run my insurance. My insurance carrier had to call the pharmacy to get them to run the insurance. Im in route to pick up my prescriptions for my children because I only paid cash for half. I just hope everything goes in a positive direction. And I dont have to wait in my car again in 15 degree weather for them to play around again with my childrens prescriptions. I will never get another prescription filled at this location. They are rude and they also lied saying they were going to call me insurance carrier which was mind boggling to me that at midnight they were able to get through. Never again.

Emmanuel the pharmacy tech went above and beyond to help me get my presricption. Kniwing the i jusy wirked 12 hours shift and got off to come straight here to get my prescription and i was having technical difficulties emmanuel swept in and saved the day. I will make this cvs my 1 pharmacy

Worst pharmacy Ive ever been to. I had to return 4 times over 6 hours to get my sons medication. The staff seemed to not have a clue whats going on, and the pharmacist seemed to not care one bit about the customers. Never again.

I when to get some medication to this CVS and it was my worse experience ever on a CVS, they make me wait have an hour for a medication that was already there ready, they just didnt like when i ask for a discount and never call my name till i got tired and ask for my pills, the lady just grab them and gave them to me with an attitude.

SAVE YOUR TIME. AVOID THIS CVS!!Even though this CVS is 24 hours, dont bother with this location. If you call theres typically a long wait. Last time I called, I waited 22 minutes before anyone spoke to me. The pharmacists never discuss the side effects when you get new meds. Their drive thru takes a ridiculously long time just to get to the window. Going inside is no better- its disorganized and it smells.When there was an issue with my insurance, the pharmacist couldnt even be bothered to call and inform me of the situation (which required my doctor to rewrite the script) NOR did they call my doctor. I had to waste my time standing in line the next day only for them to tell me that *I* should call my doctor. I mean how hard is it for a pharmacist to tell the doctor, you requested the brand name med, your patient was previously on and is asking to continue on generic. We cannot fill the generic until we get a new script.? I got so fed up with CVS that I asked my doctor to send my meds to a different location. Despite telling them I did not want the brand name medication AND they KNOW Im going to request the generic meds, I *STILL* had to call CVS and tell them to cancel out the brand name medication, as if they dont have any common sense.Just avoid this place.
