I took my car to them on 5/17/2021 to get my rear door and bumper replace. My agent was Lamar G, originally my car was supposed to be finished on 5/24/21 but wasn’t complete until 5/26/21 when I went to pickup my car there was some damage that was caused to the passenger panel during the painting process. Lamar G assured me that he would order the part and have it fixed right away. Weeks went went and I never heard from him so I decided to call him. He told me that it was on back order but called two days later asking me to bring it in because he got the part in. That was 6/8/21. I brought my car in and decided to wait for the repairs to be complete. 10 minutes later he comes out saying they need another part. It is now the 8/29/21 and I have not heard anything from him. I called crown paint and body on 8/23/21 and they forwarded me to a different agents voicemail. I left a message and have not received a call back. I will be letting my insurance company know of the issues I am having in hopes that they will no longer use this company. If you are looking to get repairs done in a timely manner I would not recommend this business. They do not care about your time or how they inconvenience your life. Once they have your money or payment from your insurance they don’t care how the work looks.
If negative stars where a thing, I’d choose that option. I could give you a list of reasons to not go here to get your vehicles worked on, but I’m just going to put it simply. Just don’t, just go somewhere else. Your life will be much easier if you do.
It was awesome! It was by the clock; everything done exactly at the time promised. All call, emails, text messages etc; done promptly. And then its friendly, professional, knowledgeable communication. Its the only place I take my vehicle; not because others cant do the job; others just dont deliver quite the same level of commitment to perfection. Thanks Amy & Haley!!
I had to have my front bumper replaced. The estimate was fair, the time expected for the job to be completed was short, and I felt comfortable leaving my car with Crown. I received text message alerts with the progress and status through completion. My car looks great. Jeff was awesome ask for him!
I used crown paint and body a few weeks ago. They did an amazing job, they went above and beyond making sure my car was well taken care of! I was notified every step of the way. They even cleaned the inside before I came to pick it up! Definitely will be using them again!
My experience was good! I was nervous dropping off my vehicle for an extended period of time. But I was updated daily on the status of the repairs. And it was ready then they said it would be.
We have been to Crown Body shop two times in the past couple years and stupid me did not learn my lesson the first time to never go here again. They give you a time your vehicle is supposed to be ready and delay as they please. I got a message my truck was near completion and is on schedule to be ready on the date it was supposed to and sure enough last minute another week delay. This is exactly the same scenario as a couple years ago. My insurance agency said that is by far the very worst place you can get work done on your car. When speaking to the girl at the body shop she could care less of the financial loss and my time dealing with their delays. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO THIS PLACE IF YOU WANT PROFESSIONAL AND PROMPT SERVICE. I regret buying my wife a brand new Volvo a couple weeks ago from Crown Automotive

Within 24hrs of my walk-in Amy contacted me to say service was covered under warranty. At that time I added concerns with my sunroof and she quickly researched it and offered options to address it with existing service request that would SAVE ME MONEY!!To top it all off- They finished the job earlier than scheduled!I have never had such a positive experience for a service need. Wish they did more than just body work....Highly recommend!!
Both times I have taken my car for repairs I have to return for additional repairs and no loaner is given, although it is due to them not doing a good job the first time. It had been a huge disappointment and inconvenience of my time.Although they are extremely nice and work you back in to fix the issues,, nice doesnt cut it when youre inconvenienced time after time.

My insurance recommended me to this place. The worst service ever. They never call me to give me a update on my car or what works they are doing on my car. My car was finish and they never call me to tell me it finish. I had to call them. I pick up my car and when I got home my car was smoking. They denied it not there fault. I had a argument with them. Then they finally fix it. The advisor guy name Lemar talk very rude not professional at all.
I was told to come to this place by the Honda dealership. Once I got there there was a sign on the door that stated “Call us when you’re here we’ll come to you for an estimate” So I called only to be told that I will have to make an appointment for the next day. Wasted my gas and time.Update: Ended up giving them another try the next day. I had an appointment for an estimate and was told to have my insurance company to send the claim over so they could do the estimate. Then I asked what day could I drop my car off to get repaired. I knew it wasn’t and couldn’t be same day or right away, but another two weeks wasnt what I was expecting to hear. Because my tail light is non operable and I was already terrified of getting stopped and ticketed for it.

Back in March of this year 2021 I took my 2013;Acura TL to have repairs done. They didnt replace my mudflaps they were supposedly on backorder I called them back today this morning 6/17/2021 to see if the mudflaps came in the person who helped me Lamar call me back this afternoon after my second call he stated to me my mudflaps are discontinued so youre telling me this after 3 months!?1?! Now they have to shop around for some other ones (company) in a different color and they will have to paint those to match my car, this is totally unacceptable. And I shouldnt had to reach out to them they should have reached out to me first.
The staff was very friendly. I was updated frequently on the status of my repairs. No complaints there!My issue is the quality of work. My car is black, which shows imperfections easily. There are buff marks all along the top passenger side and the trunk. They left overspray on the front lower bumper and a spot on the back passenger door. I went back the same day I picked it up to have the overspray removed but they still managed to leave some again.The imperfections are hard to spot in the shade but extremely visible in the sun. I’m not at all pleased with the work. My car is a 2020, which is still fairly new. It is disappointing to have such cosmetic issues when it was trusted to be repaired by the dealership’s repair shop. If I ever need repairs in the future, I will not return to crown paint and body.
Lamar was absolutely a hero, he not only made sure my repairs looked brand new, he helped me when the insurance and manufacturer weren’t. He cared in a way not seen often these days and is genuinely appreciated for helping in an extremely stressful situation, anyway he could. I would recommend him for not only his work but his good spirit, which is what is the hardest to find in the auto industry
Too expensive, wanted 1500 dollars, just to paint hood and roof of truck
I was in an accident that ended in a total lost. They did an ok job with getting the car looked at and declared total loss. The issue was with my belongings. My car was officially totaled on a Friday by the insurance company. I was told by my insurance company I had till the following Thursday to collect my belongings before it was towed from the shop. When I arrived on Tuesday mid morning I was told that my car had been towed without my knowing. Not only was I not informed I was told by the receptionist that it was her mistake and that my items would be mailed to me at a later date. I was upset because I had many items in the car because I didnt know that my car would be totaled. The receptionist did give me info on who to call to retrieve my items but it would have been good customer service if they could have at least found my car. I had to do all the leg work to find my car when it wasnt my fault the car was moved. I ended up traveling to Graham to retrieve my items. While traveling to Graham I called and asked to speak to the manger where the receptionist once again told me that my belongings would be mailed and I had to explain to her that maybe that is ok for some people but I dont trust companies I have never done business with, with my personal items and my tag. I ended up losing half a day due to their mistake. Once I contacted the manger he did apologize on the phone and did agree to reimburse gas but didnt apologize while at the store. That is the reason they receive 2 stars instead of 1. My suggestion is if your car is a total loss and is being held by that company, please go and get your belongings the day it is declared total or you may have to travel to another location to find your car too.
It took over 3 months for my car to be repaired. My husband picked it up, there was literally glass all over the car STILL from shattered windshield. Their response was they did the best they could to remove all of the glass. I have kids and dogs that would cut themselves just riding in the back seat! Scratches on inside of car from damage from accident. I returned the car, called my insurance company, end result, my car was totaled. I think it was in part my insurance companys fault for not totaling the car in the first place. Either way, I cant believe the condition they tried to return my car to me in. Not to mention I have been paying car payments on a car that should have been totaled back in November! Will never use them again!
I dropped my vehicle off for service after being in an accident and was quoted approximately 1 week for repairs. I get my finalized date which turned out to be 10 days, nbd. On the morning (9am-ish) of pickup I get a text that my vehicle will be ready end of day. 30 minutes before Im able to go (around 330pm) I call to let them know Im on the way to which they tell me my vehicle is not ready and theyre missing parts. Its going to be another 3 days. Super confused how my vehicle went from its gonna be ready to oh yeah we dont have the parts. But okay fine. 3 days later I go to pick up my vehicle and Im told Its going to be another 7-10 days and its out of their hands because theyre waiting on parts. At this point Im without a vehicle for 2 weeks trying to get to/from work and class without a rental. I wait out the next week and finally get my vehicle back. Score! I get in and start to drive and notice my steering wheel is still crooked and I didnt even make it 15 miles before the electronic stability control light pops up. They had my vehicle for 3 weeks and never did the alignment 🤣 I had to bring my vehicle back and that was another 2-3 days. At least that time I got a complimentary rental. Only reason its 2 starts and not 1 is their detail department did a GREAT job on the interior of my car so shout out to those guys.

Picked up my vehicle after it was supposedly fixed, later found out they had damaged something in the vehicle that was not related to why I had brought it in the first place. Told them my vehicle did not feel right and manager refuses to accept their fault and once again said that someone will call to assist me. Still has not heard from anyone in over a week.

I was referred to Amy from the Crown service department and she was an absolute pleasure to work with! She is super sweet, makes you comfortable with her immediately and is very transparent with what is necessary for your car. Doesnt try to sell you on anything you dont need which is refreshing.I was very impressed by the crown shuttle service where they offer to order an Uber/Lyft to/from while your car is being serviced at no additional cost. Definitely a huge perk that made it so much easier to come get my car serviced. Reasonable pricing and great quality of work. Im hoping I dont experience any future damage to my car but if I do, I know where Ill be going!
Overpriced!..Overpriced!! Overpriced!!! We had a minor scratch on our rear bumper and crown paint and body wanted double what other reputable collision repair shops in the area were charging. They had 3 different quotes for labor (mechanical labor @ $153, paint labor @161.00 and body labor @ 294.00). They explained that the body labor was needed because since my car had been in a collision (my wife backed into a 5 pole going 3 mph!! ) my car required a mandated pre and post scan. I am about to call the shop manager to get his opinion and see if they are willing to be more competitive. I will update my post if I get a positive response from the manager.

I’m normally the one reading reviews but today for the first time I’m writing a review on how great of a job these guys did on my car and my girlfriends as well! Jeremy Turner did the above and beyond to get the job done! If you go to crown paint and body I would highly recommend asking for him. Not only did he do my estimate, make sure I had a ride to the enterprise car rental place, kept me updated daily on my car’s work and schedule time to be ready, he also did a 360 in/out walk through with my car to make sure everything was to my satisfaction. To top it off, even vacuumed and washed the cars! This man definitely deserves a raise! I will for sure be coming back to this establishment if I ever need any future repairs!

I ran into a wall beside my garage and scratched the fender on my brand new 2020 Acura. Being it was a brand new Honda product I only wanted Honda to fix it. Crown Paint and Body repaired and painted the fender and painted the door beside it. The paint blend was very good. However, the hood on the car had an apparent paint spill and was not tightly attached, showing large gaps when closed. Also the rubber around the fender was loose. So I was disappointed with Crown and not satisfied with the job. Jeremy was the Crown Paint and Body rep that helped me. Jeremy really made the difference. He had the hood painted and put on tightly, and fixed the loose rubber around the fender. The hood paint job also took of the cat scratches on my hood which had nothing to do with Crown. Jeremy had all of this done without additional charges, and had a free rental car provided to me while the car was in the shop. Hed also tried to help me earlier with an issue I had with my insurance company. Jeremy really believes in great customer service and restored my faith in Crown Paint And Body.

My car was hit by another driver. Damage was mostly to driver side, back door and quarter panel. I chose to go to Crown over the insurance companys shop because Crown appeared to be working to do a better job for me and not overcharge the insurance company. I was helped by Jeremy who took me through the shop to see their work prior, well pleased! They handled everything with the other persons insurance company and did the best job. I cant be more happy!

The outstanding customer service and fast turn around time is why I continue to bring my vehicles to this location for any body work. I appreciated the details and he even noticed an issue with my wheel that was overlooked by my initial observation from the damages. Have been going to them since 2008 and have dealt with Angie M. exclusively for all needs - which, unfortunately for me, has been quite a bit. In every dealing with them, the work has been amazing, customer service from Angie on point, and price well within reason. I give them a 10/10. Do not be afraid to use them and if you do, ask for Angie!
Were very loyal Crown customers. We buy our cars here, and during the very rare instance of an accident, we always go to Crowns Paint and Body Center. We needed them this last week, and they did a terrific job. The work was done as scheduled, they helped us through the insurance claim, and the repair looked great.
I have had two experiences with Crown due to accidents, and both have been extremely positive. Not only were they prompt with calling and providing information, but they were personable and very helpful when I needed alternate transportation. I thought my car would be a difficult fix due to the color of the exterior paint, but they did a perfect match and you could not tell where the damage was. I highly recommend them!

Lamar went out of his way to get my car started after they brought it out to me and it wouldn’t start. What he called a “rock candy” On the battery he cleaned it up and and got my car started for me. I had a warrant issue with my paint done a while back. After talking to the AGM Mr.Campbell he had to keep my car a few days but worth it. They took care of my car and its looks like new. Im very satisfied with the work done.

The did beautiful work on my repair. Its a 10-year-old car that looks it, and I was really impressed with how well they blended a brand-new panel in. I, at least, cant tell the new from the old. And my little bucket of bolts came home gleaming like a new penny.Lax on communications with me, though.They had a subcontractor that was dragging his feet on a wheel repair, and they ended up having to hold onto my vehicle an extra couple of business days (plus a weekend). I guess they closed out the paperwork on the day I was originally *scheduled* to get it back, and their system automatically emailed me saying the job was complete and that my vehicle was ready for pick-up. They didnt call me to warn me off; thankfully, I called *them* before I checked my email.And I always had to call *them* to get an update; I dont think they once took the initiative to call *me* first to let me know what was going on with the car. I get the impression they didnt keep the insurer covering the repairs updated in a timely fashion, either, as the insurer threatened not to cover the car rental for the extra days. Crown *did* say theyd either convince the insurer to cover it or would pay for it themselves; I dont know who picked up the tab in the end, but I didnt have to pay for it.Solid work where it counts, but be prepared to stay on top of them for updates.
Superior quality work with great costumer service! Lamar made our car look better than new in a fraction of the time the other body shops could. Wouldn’t even think of going anywhere else!
Crown paint and body was excellent to work with and they handled everything professionally. I originally came for an estimate and they were the lowest of the estimates I received for the damage on my car. (Even if they hadnt been the lowest estimate-it is worth the money to take your car here knowing it will be done correctly) I worked with Jeremy and he kept me in the loop with the progress of my car, dealt with the insurance company that was paying for damages, made sure the work was finished in a timely manner and took the initiative to have the techs check out my car again when he didnt think it was back to its original look. AND my car was washed, vacuumed and cleaned on the inside before it was returned to me-added bonus! The work they did was perfect-you cant even tell it was damaged. Over and beyond my expectations.
I was referred to Crown Auto after my car was in accident two years ago. I ended up needing to have about $10,000 worth of repairs done initially and a few other repairs that were accident related but showed up later. I have really appreciated all of the work Crown did on my car and their communication with me and my insurance company. Of course, having to go through all of the claims and repair is not ideal, but I feel that Jeremy (my service coordinator at Crown) made the whole experience as pleasant as possible. Here is my experience with this shop. I ended up choosing Crown Paint and Body randomly. I was hit by another driver and the insurance company told me to go anywhere. My 2013 Toyota Prius had extensive damage from this accident. The left rear door was damaged, the vehicle was out of alignment, the rear bumper was gone, and the axle was damaged. I knew it would be expensive to fix, but it was not quite expensive enough to be written off. When I picked up my vehicle, you could not tell it was in an accident. The body work was impeccable and customer service was great. In the months that followed, however, the car had multiple issues. The vehicle started to skid, and I was told the steering wheel angle position was off. That wasn’t a big deal. Then, the paint protection film kept on peeling off (twice). I had to come in to get that fixed (twice). The trunk door was a little off. Again, that wasn’t a big deal because it’s all about adjustments and you can never really get those things perfect. Then, my vehicle started skidding again (rear wheel skidding) and the traction control light was flashing when it was skidding. Came back in, and everyone told me there was nothing wrong with the vehicle. Something about my car skidding did not seem quite normal to me, so I take my vehicle to Rice Toyota. It does not even take them an hour before they come out and tell me “So, here is a list of everything we found wrong. We recommend that Toyota vehicles are not taken to side street mechanics after they have been in an accident.” The backing plate was distorted which needed wheel bearing to correct and the speed sensor wiring connector was broken. Crown made the repairs (again) and I picked up my vehicle. Not even a few weeks later, the traction light starts flashing intermittently and what a surprise, Crown said there was nothing wrong with the vehicle. Now, Tony made it clear that they did “everything” they could. Crown told me they sent the vehicle over to Flow Lexus and they did a full mechanical and electrical inspection and the vehicle passed and they could not find anything physically wrong with the suspension and no error codes were present. Something just didn’t feel right to me, because I was in this situation before. A situation where Crown told me that everything was just fine when it wasn’t so I decided to go over to Flow Lexus and ask them about all those “inspections.” To my surprise (not surprised), the service manager had no idea what I was talking about. Flow Lexus never did any inspections, mechanical or electrical. My vehicle was apparently just sitting in their service shop for two days after they test drove it and scanned the system for error codes. The service manager told me the vehicle should have never been brought to them and Crown should have sent it to a Toyota dealership instead because it is, after all, a Toyota vehicle. I went into Tony’s office and relayed all of this, because frankly I was tired of being overlooked and Tony responded with “We did nothing wrong. That’s what we were told. We’re done here. Get out.” It was up to me to take to vehicle to Rice Toyota again. There are just some things you have to take care of yourself, but after careful consideration, I did not want to have this problem fixed for the same problem to happen again months later. I decided to trade in my vehicle and purchase a new one which was something I was not planning on doing for at least another five years. With the extensive damage on this car, it was a big job for anyone to take on because of the mechanical and electrical complications. Maybe, it might have turned out differently if I had known that Toyota had a repair shop and I had taken the vehicle to them originally, or it might have been the same outcome. We’ll just never know. Crown Paint and Body should have been honest about their shop’s limitations in their ability to fully repair this car, and maybe I could have avoided the stress and time this situation has taken up over the past four months. My car is just one car (they fix hundreds) and no one is perfect.
My initial meetings with Jeremy were less than satisfactory and lacked communication unless prompted on my part. I had a rather extensive and lengthy repair on my vehicle, which required engine and transmission removal.After Tony himself followed up, I can say the experience afterwards was world-class. He took full responsibility and made sure all further issues were taken care of in a timely manner. His interpersonal skills and knowledge far exceeded my expectations and I am glad to have worked with him.In short - if you get work done here, please see if Tony is involved and you will not be disappointed.
Worse company ever and tried to rip me off. I went there this morning to have an estimate of my car which only has a small part of my back left side bumper was bend and some paint was off. First when I walked in, the lady in the front desk was so unwelcome you, and then I was asked to sit down to wait. The guy who served me seems very unprofessional, he kept looking around (not on my car) when he was estimating. Finally, he print out the paper and told me total will be $900!!!!!!! I went to other places to get estimate, all were around 500-700. So I took closely to look at the details, he put Mechanical Labor fee in there, which needs to cost $85/hr, and he put two hours total. Why on earth that this needs something like mechanical. I might not be an expert of the car, but I do know that my car was 2017 and this minor problem does not need mechanical to get involved. I guess he saw me as an Asian lady, seems pretty young and stupid, and can easily to rip me off of some money. Highly not recommend this place and please be aware.
I went there after a fender bender and the insurance paid them all most $3000. I asked for an alignment and they told me no saying that the way the car was wrecked there was no way it would result in the car needing an alignment and therefore cant do it. Then I went home and noticed something different with my transmission dip stick and the manager talked his way out of my suspicion. Now today Im @ precision auto tune getting my transmission serviced and guess what they bring to my attention my transmission dip stick tube is broken.😠😠😠
They had the lowest estimate of the 3 different places I went and they made quick work of their quality repair on my vehicle.
This is my go to spot for all auto body and paint needs. The staff is always on point, polite, and knowledgeable! Finish work is top notch. Thanks for always taking care of me quickly and efficiently!
My issues were covered under insurance claim. I had already called insurance company and had claim number when I delivered car. To start with I was told they close at 6pm on the phone. When I arrived at 5:10pm they informed all of their adjusters that look at the vehicles leave at 5. We finally got someone to at least let us drop it off to be checked the following day. I filled out the form with all the insurance information. A week goes by and I havent heard anything. I receive a call they have a question. I get off work to go see what was needed. All they had accomplished was removing the front bumper and they had a question about the muffler being damaged. I told them the insurance said it was covered to repair. They responded we were waiting for you to call with insurance claim number. I said I gave that to you when I dropped off vehicle. So they ordered parts on Monday or Tuesday of the following week which was Thanksgiving week. So they were closed Thursday and Friday (which was fine). So now after 2 weeks with my car all they have accomplished was removing the front and back bumper. This brings me to week 3 without my car (and both my wife and I work full-time jobs and we have to carry our kids to school) that Friday I received a call the car would be ready that afternoon. It would have been earlier but they didnt repair the muffler and had to carry it somewhere else because they had moved on to another vehicle. So 3 weeks without my car and all they did was replace both bumpers. They didnt even do the muffler job someone else did. I will never use them again!!
Crown paint and body and the entire staff were very friendly! They helped me get my vehicle back on the road as quickly as possible after under carriage damage and went above and beyond to say the least. Thank you to the manager especially for all you did. Special thanks and I will always recommend them to any and everyone as I have not seen such compassion since being in the military. Thank you!

After getting an estimate from another company, and waiting on parts to repair my car, I decided to let Crown Paint and Body repair my vehicle.. Best decision ever!!! Not only was the price half of the other estimate, I also received my vehicle in 3 days instead of the 2 weeks it would have taken from the other shop. My car was delivered to me with a complete detailed job inside and out with mints left in the cup holder! What wonderful service! As for the workmanship on my car, you cant even tell it had ever been damaged. My colleagues at work were so impressed they asked if they could just send their car to be cleaned and detailed! I would highly recommend Crown Paint and Body to anyone who desires excellent service!!

The repair of the car and Randy and Frankie was great. Kept me informed every step of the way. Great job. Charles, service man, was not, not a good customer person, receptionist Batista could have been more attentive in dealing with customers. Derrick gave me an incomplete copy of services done on my car with no total amount. The body shop gave me the true copy. After riding back and forth to get everything that I needed.
Chose Crown since their range of dealerships seems to cover most major manufacturers. I walked in and politely asked to see someone about an estimate. The lady behind the counter asked if I had an appointment and I said no. She rather shortly told me “oh, well we operate on an appointment only basis.” It was 2pm in the afternoon and I asked when the next available appointment was and just about as short as the first reply she said “9am tomorrow”. Never had such an experience in a service business, but hey, if their business is that good they probably don’t need mine anyway. Sad thing is this experience will probably keep me away from anything Crown.
I have a Dodge Magnum RT that was being worked on and the staff there treated me like a customer should be treated. When I called, they answered, always able to help and most of all, they made sure I was happy before I left. The ball was never dropped and that says a lot about this company and its staff. Rick, Kim, Mike, Buddy, and most of all, the Service Manager played a part in my visit. Thanks guys. Youre the best around!

They did not do anything they promised! They promised to be ready in couple of weeks & it took months. They replaced hood & front bumper on my pickup & couldn’t get them straight & put on pin strips crooked. They would not return phone calls. Never would I go back to this body shop.
From start to finish, a professional job! Everyone was very helpful, my car was ready when they said it would be and it looks great. I had 2 minor issues after I picked up my car, but those were resolved quickly and efficiently.
I only went to get an estimate. Seemed fair enough. Randy was very polite.
